Ekoes Soekke vor Winaar is streamed not only within Ekoz and its surrounding neighbours, but nations from around the world are watching us live on STE, and on our website http://www.ste.ez/welt. Ten artists performing ten songs, all for your votes that will determine the representative for Ekoz at the 40th WorldVision Song Contest later next month. Our invitation stretched to both Polkopia and Normandy and Picardy with performers originating from both of these nations.

It can be any language you want and the tune of the song can be a real-life song, however you have to change the lyrics and re-write them yourself.

1. No. It can be any language you want, although it is advised to provide a translation for any language other than English.

2. Yes. Or atleast, the lyrics have to be 80% or more original. Seeing as twenty percent of a song is almost nothing, just see it as a yes. This question was, however, already answered in the rules, namely rule 2. I would advise you to read them if you haven't or re-read them if you have, just to be sure (as certain rule infractions will lead to disqualification and such).

WorldVision is based on the real life Eurovision Song Contest, where songs have a 3 minute maximum limit. 3-5 minutes is good I guess, what matters more is the song you're sending - if your song will be based on an existing tune, then just make your song length the same as the tune you're using.

What I'm trying to say is, 'interesting', 'quirky' things have been done but they don't tend to do well. You want to do well? Do what everyone else does. You want to be 'special' (in so far as that's possible with everything that has already happened here)? Don't expect to end high, as most everyone who tries doesn't.

Edit: Just counted the first part of Heroes. 118 words would be rather slim, although it could be doable for a simple song or something that a *shudders* DJ would make nowadays.

Technical things like these don't really matter, most (if not all) of us take into consideration the quality (and/or effort) of the lyrics and your performance, and often the tune you use (if any) during voting.
