ALDERA, NASAIRA

General Doran made his way through the halls of the military high command, every room that he passed was full of activity as men in military uniforms hurried carrying envelopes, no doubt each one contained important documents in it. General Doran is the minister of the armed forces making him the highest appointed officer in the Nasairan military. He had an important task ahead of him, the communist in the country had risen up in open rebellion, securing the whole northern part of the country.

The situation that General Doran faced was a critical one, but he was a seasoned army officer with over 30 years of experience. He continued his way through the halls until he reached a conference room that was located in the center of the building. Inside the room sat the highest ranking officers from each of the branches of the armed forces. General Doran made his way into the room and took his seat at the head of the table. The room had tv monitors all around the room covering any new updates or situations that may have arisen. Sitting in his chair for brief moment General Doran spoke to his comrades.

" Gentlemen I need an update on the current situation."

Silence fell over the room for a few brief moments when General Abor, the minister of the army spoke.

" well the situation is shit, that's it point blank. The northern half of the country has seceded from the rest of the nation and installed a communist government. In doing so they managed to capture several bases which gives them armor and weapons and we put the communist fighting force at 300,000 while we only have 87,000 on active duty."

The news was dire but General Doran refused to let panic set in. He wanted to exhaust all of his options, turning to Admiral Drethen.

" Admiral Drethen what can the navy do in this situation?"

The question was blunt what could the navy do. Admiral Drethen was a seasoned man but even he had a hard time with this question.

" well General I'm short not much, the several budget cut backs that we had to suffer I fear may be our downfall in this. My honest opinion is we need foreign intervention."

Foreign intervention, nobody would come to the aid of the Emperor, if any foreign power was to intervene it most likely would be to back the communist in the north. But General Doran took the recommendation.

" I will send the request up Admiral, in the mean time have the Air Force bomb selected targets and have the army set up fire bases along the border to prevent the enemy from crossing. We are at a start of war gentlemen, don't forget that."

The meeting was over but now the hard part of winning the war had just begun.

OOC: you may support either side, I will have a post for the communist coming up. The level of support depends complete on you but I do ask that if you choose to participate you stay committed and if at any time you no longer wish too then just please write that you are pulling you support out. Everything will affect the outcome of this war and it will be used to shape my nation. And one finale note have fun!!!!!

King M'zhid Agharvi, hearing of this communist uprising quickly ordered around 1,000,000 Royal Dalasis be sent to support the communist insurgency.

ooc: Alright then.
"Your Majesty, a letter," said the personal aid to King M'zhid Agharvi I of Zoblus. Upon opening the letter King M'zhid Agharvi I read out loud "We, the Communist regime of the Northern Nasairian, ask you, most wise king, to aid us in our struggle for a communist utopia. We ask kindly to send us any aid that you can spare."
Putting the letter down, King M'zhid said after a few silent minutes "Jamaal, I authorize a shipment of 50,000 Royal Dalasis to be sent to the communist insurgency to aid them in battle. But I also authorize research into the demographics of Nasaira. Find me an ornery religious group and tell me about them." Jamaal left, leaving King M'zhid to read his books.

PRIVATE NORBAT STONE,

DAY 1 OF RECRUIT TRAINING

The morning was cold and fear and anxiety was setting in on the bus as every other recruit was feeling the growing pressure setting upon them. Everyone here knew what was going to happen, we were drafted into the marine corps to go south and fight in the growing war that was consuming our nation. I was glad to have been called up and serve the communist were destroying Nasaira and trying to empower an oppressive regime and depose the emperor.

I wasn't a fool in this I have heard the horror stories coming from the south about the communist kill squads, if anyone spoke out against the regime then they and their family would be executed. Hearing stories like that really has made me wonder who would fight for such people. But then again the power of propaganda can perform miracles when it comes to winning over the hearts and minds of the people.

Hopefully this war will be over soon and we can defeat the communist before the end of the year.

The bus finally entered the gates of recruit depot where marines where made, the somber look on everyone's face told how they were feeling. The bus came to a stop in front of a building and drill instructors descended upon it like a flock of locusts.

" my name is staff sergeant Wayte and from now on the only words out of your mouth will be yes or no sir! Now get the fuck off of the bus."

"And we shall pledge our support to the Nasairan people in order to protect them in these trying, turbulent times. In times like these, we must not lose focus and protect the helpless" -An excerpt from Elijah Dorzuul's speech, broadcasted yesterday.

"The last thing we need is a war" Brutus said frankly, "We will operate simply as a peacekeeper, we will not make any allegiances either way." It was important for there to be at least one nation fighting for the people endangered by the quests of other men. Lendol planned on playing this role as best as it could for as long as it needed to. Of course this means that Comminists and Monarchists will both die alike. Fingers will then be pointed, threats made and grudges held. Because of this, Lendol will probably end up in disfavour in the eyes of many circles, for both a lack of intervention, and for intervening in the first place.

Brutus knew that they'd have to be disturbingly tactical and calculating with were they were to intervene. They could only act if they could safely justify their actions. This would cause more than a few sleepless nights for many...

The Ausitorian Foreign Policy Office - which had been very busy conducting frantic diplomacy with everybody within ten thousand miles, leading to all sorts of diplomatic upsets as the Imperial Federation aligned itself with The New Lowlands - proceeded, naturally enough, with its own plans; in a studied, measured, manner. They were not about to go to war with anybody - if they could at all avoid it. They were used to being the international policeman. They were consequently used to being reviled. But evidently this was a chance to show just what a light-touch policemen they could be - although it was, of course, inevitable that the Ausitorian government had felt compelled to at least lay out some handy ground rules.

There were a number of socialist states much closer, and that meant that as far as Ausitoria was concerned, the monarchy was diplomatically impossible to support, even if they had wanted too, and no doubt all the communists knew that. However, even with its strong arm of their conventional forces diplomatically tied, the Ausitorian government did have one useful thing it could use to command attention: money. All the money that would have been spent on fighting could now be spent bribing the communist side to at least make an effort at being civilized - after all, no doubt they would all be dirt poor within a week of economic mismanagement, and in desperate need of funds. Rebelling communists always were.

And that, of course, meant that they could be annoying to both sides, just like usual, insisting that at least rudimentary rules on the conduct of war were observed, staving off the worst of a humanitarian crisis that would otherwise reflect so badly on the Ausitorian leadership, softening the blow by providing a haven for the defeated Monarchists, who might otherwise start to fight with a dangerous brutality. Thus the Pax Prosperitas might be maintained, even in war, through peace.

Or something like that, the bureaucrats hoped.

Public Notice Regarding Insurrection and Unrest in Nasaira

Declaration of Protection of Innocent Passage, Consular Assistance, Evacuations, Extraterritoriality, and Limitations upon Warfare

We have noticed with no slight concern the rebellion affecting our interests in Nasaira. Although there is a humanitarian interest to be protected, in general it is the Ausitorian Foreign Policy Ofice's opinion that it is in the Hemithean interest to support a position allowing the Nasairan peoples to determine their own fate or fates, and their national sovereignty should be broadly respected. Nonetheless there are wider international security interests to be concerned about, and we have all witnessed the debilitating piracy around Firmador after the collapse of good government there. Therefore we would like to clarify that all non-Nasairan shipping publicly enjoying innocent passage through Nasairan waters shall be entirely under our protection until such a time as any Nasairan government is once again capable of ensuring such free passage. There shall be no charge or requirements levied upon any such shipping.

Until proper jurispudence has been restored, all Ausitorians and Ausitorian-protected persons shall expect and be entitled to extraterritoriality within Communist-controlled areas in Nasaira. Full consular assistance within Nasaira shall be provided by Ausitoria to citizens of all nations trading with nations trading with Ausitoria, International Freedom Coalition persons, other Hemithean persons, and Panessos persons for their evacuation. Any and all evacuating aircraft or ships are welcome to use any public Ausitorian facilities by prior arrangement. Tanker aircraft are available for in-flight refuelling.

Any malign interference from any party in evacuating any persons not involved in the insurrection shall be considered an act of war. Any damage to Ausitorian persons or property within Nasaira shall be expected to be compensated in full after the war at an AER of 5% interest.

The Ausitorian government would like to declare it will look very unfavourably upon any outrages, and we will act to catch perpretators in the event of any use of chemical weapons, radiological weapons, anti-personnel landmines, anti-personnel cluster munitions, torture, genocide, attacks upon civilians or prisoners of war, or other such unsuitable wartime conduct. We call upon both parties involved to negotiate before they become the playthings of proxy wars and their land destroyed, and we will be happy to provide assistance to such aims.

In the meantime we would invite both parties to attend to our embassies in Nasaira to discuss their intended conduct of the war and the use of our post-war rebuilding aid fund in the event that they win, before we consider granting them our support.

With the Communist forces understood to be advancing, as in the case of Firmador, we will assist in providing evacuation and haven for displaced persons on the Monarchist side, if such persons refrain from any further outrages in the course of this war.

In the event that anyone has any information regarding these objectives, please inform the freedom of information office by reply.

Yours very sincerely,
Dame F. Orpolov,
The Foreign Policy Office,
The Imperial Commonwealth of Libraria and Ausitoria

Disclaimer: Notwithstanding any mention of their nations, Ausitoria and its canon does not exist nor impact the canon of many IFC & SACTO & closed-region nations; and it is harassment to presume it does. However in accordance with my open-door policy the converse does not apply: they still impact Ausitoria's canon.

Maverica city, The Mareen Palace

President Vandolf walked back and forth across the shiny and smooth ceder floor of his office. So far Vandolf has put Maverica into many incidents from the 3rd Mizrad Maverican war to the Firmador wars that were still going on. Now a new war was brewing, this time once again in Nasaira. It was just yesterday when Vandolf received news of a communist uprising in Nasaria. Maverica has always coexisted with Nasaria but was never fond of it's politics and ways. President Vandolf finally sat down in his leather chair at his desk. It finally hit him! If Maverica supported the communists it would be one step closer to a civilized socialism. Maverica was never to fond of communists, most people looked at them as too extreme and as a socialist dictatorship. Some people did not even see them a socialists. But many people still held communism higher than a country ruled by a royal family. Vandolf quickly got out a paper and pen and started writing his order to the Maverican People's Assembly to be read and then announced publicly on radio.

From: The People's President Vandolf
To: The people of Maverica and Maverican People's Assembly

The declaration of actions that is happening is Nasaria.

Currently People's President Vandolf and the Maverican government has been informed of a communist civil war in Nasaira. We are all sure that this is also going to effect trade and relations within the current government of Nasaira. Now the Maverican People's Assembly and President Vandolf would like to keep Maverican soldiers out of this war due to more pressing matters. But fear not! We would like to though announce that we will withdrawal all political and economic relations with the monarchy in Nasaria and announce our economical support of the communist freedom fighters. This may be a rough and bloody war between the two sides but as Mavericans we must send aid to to our comrades in Nasaria! Even though they may be communists and we both have different beliefs this is a step forward to a free and strong Nasaria.

But we must not forget all of the misplaced citizens and refugees in this conflict. By order of the Maverican People's Assembly headed by People's President Vandolf, all non combatants must be taken cared for and will do it's best to evacuate any refugees willing to enter Maverica under a special refugee pass. This will allow refugees in Maverica all the rights Maverican citizens have until the war is over.

We will also like to announce that any war crimes committed by either side will be punished one way or another. These crimes would include mistreating POWs, killing soldiers trying to surrender, using biological weapons, attacking any civilians and attacking neutral nations and their property.

Thank you for your time and may the people of Maverick celebrate a new day for Nasaria.

This is a new step for Maverica and Hemithia. But unfortunately our Ausitorian comrades is showing support to the mohnarcy forces. This will make this tricky for Maverica in this incident. In the back of every man in Maverica is how Ausitoria will take Maverica's stance and if the communist forces will civilize up.

62715 0400 SOUTHERN NASAIRA, COMMUNIST-CONTROLLED PORT CITY
Peculiar looking vessels were spotted off in the distance moving ever closer through the dark water. The moonlight offering light over the seemingly calm waters. The vessels grow closer as they are easily identifiable as Pletoskan. What could the Pletoskan Navy be doing near a communist-controlled port city. half-an-hour had passed and the vessels were now near ready to dock unopposed. Now the vessels were easily visible down to the smallest detail. Several large warships accompanied by numerous transports, two maybe even three carriers could be spotted in the distance. The loud chopping of air rapidly could be heard all around, as a helicopter approached with lights visible in the night sky. The helicopter soon makes contact with solid ground, and the chopping blades finally begin to die down. The light offered by the massive port reveal everything in the immediate vicinity. A figure slowly exits from the helicopter looking around, before being greeted by a tall sleek looking fellow wearing the distinctive uniform of a communist rebel. The two men shake hands, and promptly begin walking away from the helicopter.

The two figures walk slowly while conversing, and pointing at many structures around the port. Almost going word for word in their conversation. Soon the port becomes busy with life, as port-workers begin unloading large military grade crates, men of rough stature exit the transportation ships in file before falling into formations within the port. The port riddled with movement slowly begins to quiet down, before again rising with the grunts, footsteps and metallic irregularities. The large crates are finished unloading. The communist-clad figure abruptly stops and points to a crane holding something very interesting, with a jolly laugh the other figure pats him on his back. The crane is holding within it's grasp, a T11. Vehicles of the Pletoskan Army now begin to stock into the port, along with even more men. Before long the two men are inside of a communist headquarters within the city. The communist assure that the Pletoskans may use this city as a staging point. The city being completely vague of life besides the occasional abandoned domestic pet. The two men again, shake hands. The remaining communist begin to leave, while the original will stay behind and oversee the city.

Further out to sea, more ships are seen trickling toward the port city. The city has earned the name "Ghost Town" by the Pletoskan troops being stationed there.
