The flag of the pre-war American Commonwealth with various chems and drugs replacing the stars, representing a love of the old world and a love of drugs.

Also, each time I have brought up peace keeping efforts that the US has taken part in, it seems that everyone else wants to reference Vietnam and Cuba as reasons why the US is a destabilizing factor. So can someone explain to me why the world hates America?

Their promiscuity? Scary.

These opinions are mostly formed from the popularity (the Nazi Germans come from what was one of the largest things Germany ever did). Just let it go. It's okay if people say stuff against America. Send all the hate! We don't care. We know everything said against one another is usually from opposing perspectives and propaganda. So it's okay. Nothing bad.

Mate, there is nothing America has that an Australian man could feel jealous for. Nothing. I don't hate America, I hate this perception that people like you have that America is some idyllic nation.

Don't get me wrong, America is not an idyllic nation. BUT, I do believe that America is ONE of the greatest countries in the world even if we don't act like.

USA is not inherently the most evil place. It's quite evil, being mostly a plutocracy ruled by big corporations, but it's not the worst out there - North Korea or fundamentalist regimes (like in Saudi Arabia or Iran) are much more "inherently evil". but seriously, US foreign policy has been really bad. like. goddamn.
let's start with vietnam. ho chi minh loved america and its freedoms, until they sided with france who were literally just fighting to keep their colony. then south vietnam, also a dictatorship, with US help backed out of scheduled elections and reunification efforts because they knew they would lose them. what a goddamn shitshow.
remember the khmer rouge? the cambodian genocide? yeah, they attacked vietnam as well. massacred entire villages. utter bastards. vietnam invaded to put an end to this shit and the US and UK... help fund and train the khmer rouge? what?
you might not have heard of the genocide in east timor. an honest to god example of a dictator invading another country and massacring the people in the 20th century. this might be related to the fact he was our ally and the UK and US knowingly gave him weapons with which to commit genocide. there was no "here have some weapons oops who could have seen that coming". we knew he was a genocidal dictator and we forked them over.
well, what about saddam right? sure iraq was a shit show, but at least we took down saddam right? even if iraq is even more unstable, we got rid of a brutal dictator, right? he gassed the kurds. uh... wait... where did he get the gas from in the first place? us? well, fuck. yeah, saddam used to be our ally and we gave him gas and encouraged him to attack iran with it. when he got executed iran had a big big laugh over it.
iran? didn't they use to be a pretty half-decent democracy? yeah, about that. they committed the cardinal sin that is messing with oil, so we overthrew them and set up our own puppet dictator. we were even ready to help him build nuclear power plants. of course, the people got sick of shit and had a revolution... then the islamists jumped in near the end and fucked it up for everyone, leading to a marked decrease in our enthusiasm for iranian nuclear power.
have you heard of the military junta in greece? ripped out peoples fingernails and raped them with pipes for daring to have leaflets advocating democracy? you're already far enough into this post to know who their backers were.
south america in general is a huge list of this as well. look up operation condor. we overthrew democracy in chile and replaced with a regime that raped people with dogs and kidnapped people's children and all people can say in defence of it is "well they deserved it!" and "b-b-but allende was bad as well and sometimes you have to destroy democracy to protect democracy even though the only KGB files we have relating to allende are about how he was very resistant to using force against political enemies"
in fact, even today, the united states government has pretty much anally raped prisoners because the convicted sex offender they hired to guard them thought it would be a great idea. there is at least one case of us kidnapping a mentally disabled man and recording his crying to send to his family for leverage.
this is just the tip of the iceberg. i omitted things like the banana wars. (smedley butler was one of the most decorated U.S. marines of all time and definitely the most in his lifetime, and he thought US foreign policy was for the most part a big pile of shit) this is what rexi1414 on youtube was talking about. i don't hate america, for that in my opinion is just a silly strawman, but i want to help you understand where this is coming from.
e: and of course, U.S. troops who wanted to be home for christmas in 1945 were used to fight the chinese along with the rearmed japanese prisoners they were supposed to be disarming. once i start i can't stop. do you remember when south korea was the poorer korea and also a brutal dictatorship? it worked out well now but we don't actually give much of a shit about democracy really.
