Don't get your hopes up. I bet it will be terrible :lol2:
My money is on that if Mans Zelmerlow wins Melodifestivalen, he could win in Vienna.

But I don't want Sweden to win again for a while or Mans to win, that homophobic little...

Also, I'm not getting my hopes up for the UK as I am naturally pessimistic but also I want it to be a good song.

Hopefully, the UK can do it tomorrow. The BBC better give us something good or else...

If they don't, Poland, Belgium and the Czech Republic are our last hopes for a pleasant surprise (the rest of the countries have NF songs already performed/released).

PS: I'm bringing back my commentary, for the first time in 10 editions! news reporter Samira Kasra will join the popular singer Vetle in the arena for BGBC.

I've just remembered that Australia's performance at the Eurovision last year is what introduced me to NationStates. When the astronaut flew down onto the stage at the end of the song, he's waved a joint Australian and Aborigine flag. When I looked up the Aborigine flag on Wikipedia, it told me that it was the default flag on a game called NationStates and here I am. So thank you, Australia.

As much as I'm disappointed in him for saying what he said, this is after all a song contest.

I only wrote half of my opening song before the winner was announced because I wasn't sure I would win.

Of course, that meant I had to push back the posting of the contest thread a bit.

I might do a twitter style commentary. Sort of like live tweeting commentary by Vampirians watching the show.

As for my entry I wrote that up a long time ago. Haven't did the performance part yet, but I normally do that when I post in the contest thread itself.

I have completed both mine and Brittanny's acts and the potential opening act in case I win the host bid vote. They have all actually been ready for a while now, and pending a few final changes should be ok to go. I have also planed for "Alo Contjalest Esa Poual Chantjal" (So You Think You Can Sing, which is a pre-existing song contest in Normandy and Picardy and will now work a bit like Sanremo). Also, the entirety of the Normand Crowd will leave the stadium during the "Anti-Communist Pro-Gregoryisgodistan Song", just so you know.

Ah, but it depends on how much of it is made up of instrumentals, and thus no lyrics ;)

NEWSFLASH!

Maailmallinen Service to be held during WorldVision?

FRIGIDEKASAI- Upon the release of information regarding the Missus Xian entry for WorldVision 37, TÖBUK and MTE (Maailmallinen Communicants of Tödlichebujoku) have announced an extended-length worship service to be performed for the duration of the entry. The service will take place inside the venue, and will take place by personal crystal so as not to disturb the Missus Xian performance. It will also be broadcast alongside the Ms. Xian performance, so that viewers may join in on the reverencing with the Tödlichebujoki audience.

Both TÖBUK and MTE have expressed excitement over the event, as now "Maailmallinen communicants can now engage their inner spark during the dullest and darkest moments of WorldVision, and the Normands will not be offended as they will have left the venue anyway." A priest involved in the event noted that "we even had to extend the length of the service to accommodate the length of the performance, so a candle-lighting ceremony will be included in addition to the usual components of a service." TÖBUK has provided thaumaturgical batteries to protect the commmuning members of the audience from any harm during the service, which is expected to end just after the performance itself. Tödlichebujoki Buddhist, Shinto, Christian and Jewish religious leaders have also expressed interest in the idea, and may lead their own services during the Missus Xian performance.
