I was not aware of this. When my brother broke some of his fingers, they swelled up, so I thought that's what they would do.

Or fascinating for all the wrong reasons. Proper testing should provide some clarity, but a proper diagnosis takes time.

I already talked to a psychologist. After two sessions he suggested I "try to use less time" for what seems unnecessarily obsessive behavior (like taking a long time in the shower) Kind of felt like he didn't believe me or didn't take me serious... he kept talking about his family and how he never would have time for these things and how these thoughts would never occur to him... I'm sure he still had good intentions and stuff, but he wasn't exactly helpful.

A psychologist that gives you the vibe that they don't care is not a psychologist that can help you.

That doesn't even come close to a diagnosis, at the very least there are extensive questionnaires involved. But you have to start somewhere, even though not every psychologist is as dedicated as he or she could be.

Sounds like a bit of an urban myth to me. Also, who the hell manages to eat sixteen bananas?

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Expected that session to be much different. Instead he ranted at first about the lack of vegetarian options in the cafeteria and then started talking about my shower habits and the like. But like I said, it seemed like it was more like chatting than actually trying to get to the bottom of the problem and find a diagnosis and the right treatment. Maybe I should go a third time and see if things improve.

If it was an urban myth, I wouldn't have learnt it in GCSE Physics. Because of it's potassium content, it does contain some amount of radiation. Eating 16 average bananas would have enough radiation to kill you.

The High Carb Raw Vegan Lifestyle! Wow, that slogan sounds really metal despite the lack of freshly slaughtered meat. And since potassium is such an excellent source of nuclear power, it is entirely possible to gain superpowers that way, unless comic books have been lying to me.
