You don't just 'smoke' 10 cigars a day. No one smokes 10 cigars a day unless you're quite literally that addicted. I don't think you are.
I won't deny that cigars have lot more tobacco than pack of cigarettes or two. But how you smoke cigars is simple: You inhale the smoke, and let it sit in your mouth, getting all the flavor from it, then puffing it out. That's hardly any smoke that gets through to your lungs.
Your dreams? They sounds rather ridiculous. Getting chased by cigarettes? I'd punch that fucker in the mouth, I wouldn't be scared to.

I will say the OP sounds somewhat exaggerated.
Maybe by "cigars" he really meant cigarillos/little cigars. I couldn't imagine smoking 10 CIGARS a day for any significant amount of time. Depending on size, cigars can take a lot of time to smoke - 30 minutes is probably on the low end. Even going with that, 10x0.5=5h of smoking everyday, WITHOUT cigarettes.
Are you retired, or some sort of freelancer?

He claims to have smoked 10 cigars a day and half a pack of cigarettes.

So you know.
Where are you getting this from?
Also, THC isn't the only ingredient that gets you high - there's also CBD and a bunch of other minor ones too.
Weed juice without actual weed juice is just hemp juice or weed-flavored shit.

Finally I took all my local friends and acquaintances and promised them a cash reward of they caught me smoking. This included many people around my home town of around 10,000 souls, and the three county seats in the region (I was an attorney at the time and would show up in the courthouses). Some of my friends were more sociable than I am, and they told their own connections to be on the lookout, so I was fairly well monitored.
If I was out of town and went to a bar, and just looked at the cigarette machine (they used to have such things back in the day), I would hear a discreet cough ("ahem!") behind me, and there would be one of my monitors.
At first I was edging into paranoia, but it was for a good cause (we just had our first child and I never wanted him to be influenced by my smoking) so I eventually got used to it.
The first month was the worst. After 60 days I felt in charge of my choices again and no longer had to worry about those monitors. For years, though, I would celebrate New Year's with one single solitary cigarette, just to prove I could do it and not get hooked.

I have, in the past, been a firm advocate for tobacco use - specifically, cigars. Almost to the point of suggesting, subliminally, that others should smoke as well. For that, I should apologize. In my zealous endorsement of cigar use I overstepped the boundaries of good taste.
Over the years, my tobacco use increased. I didn't even realize it. From one or two cigars a day as a reward of sorts I, eventually, moved up to ten cigars a day on a rough day - to relax. Soon enough, that wasn't enough. I began to supplement my cigar usage with cigarettes. Yes, even though, in the thread linked above, I criticize cigarette usage so vehemently I began to smoke cigarettes. Because, you know, I wanted to "cut back".
A cigar, typically, contains as much nicotine and tar as a whole pack of cigarettes. I was smoking 10, at most, a day. I was also smoking about a half a pack of cigarettes.
Without even realizing it, I had become a heavy smoker.
My ability to breathe was affected. I began to snore. I smelled horrible - like ash and, on rainy days, wet tobacco. My breath was... well, "ash trayish". My family life was affected. I began to spend at least 30 minutes every hour or so outside instead of with my family.
It was, in hindsight, a horrible situation. One that seemed to sneak up on me.
Then, on November 28th last year, I entered a "Vape Bar" on a whim. I bought an e-cig for the first time for the amount of money I'd spend in two days on analog smokes. I was, immediately, hooked.
I never "lit up" another analog smoke again.
Aside from the, obvious, health benefits (as my lungs can finally begin to heal), I no longer smell horrible. My breath is so much better. I feel better than ever before. And, of course, now I can "vape" inside and spend more time with my family. As you can see, I've saved quite a bit of money as well.
This has all come with, of course, certain side effects that I had never heard of before. Nightmares. Horrible and terrifying nightmares about being chased by cigarettes and cigars; "cheating" by sneaking an analog smoke; and fighting with my fiance about smoking (we've never had an argument in our two years together). Withdrawal from the other ingredients in cigarettes was, and remains, quite... um... painful. When did I become addicted to those?
I never wanted to quit smoking, mind you. I enjoy smoking. It's just that the health effects frightened me enough to consider alternatives. Vaping on electronic cigarettes saved my life, I'm sure of it. They've saved my family and my bank account as well. I've only had to buy "juice" 3 times in the past 55 days and at a price comparable to two packs of cigarettes or 3 cigars.
So I thought I'd make a thread inviting ex smokers, or those considering quitting, or even those curious about e-cigs, to speak up and have a talk. The hardest part about quitting is that you tend to feel alone when going through the withdrawals. That simply isn't so.
