That said, thousands of people who can't have decent internet access or going to be left in the cold, which will tick off a lot of people I think. The only reason I see something like this happening is because most of the global population lives in compact, urbanized areas with access to relatively decent internet. Once everyone starts switching to that, TV won't be able to financially support itself from the loses. So either two things need to happen to meet the needs of the people left in the dark. Either we need to VASTLY improve on the access to good internet for everyone in our separate countries (as well as lowering the often times insane costs), or we need to find a way of making television more valuable to keep around.
Netflix would be an amazing way to get thousands upon thousands of movies collected for quick, easy, and cheap access, but for things like TV shows, cartoons, News, etc, I think TV could still have some value left. Obviously Netflix has shown it's value in allowing us access to shows and movies, but do you know how difficult it is to find some movies on Netflix, even the American one? On that note, I've tried both the Canadian and American Netflix services, and both are missing a lot of movies, movies that are even difficult to find on the internet. That said, I think they should dedicate more time to giving us access to the thousands of easy and hard to find movies we may want to watch, and leave scheduled TV shows and such to TV companies. That said, if we lose movies from TV companies, they better be prepared to lower the price of their service too.
It's all an idea to try and keep both methods of entertainment alive and healthy, but we'll see what happens by 2030. Also, seriously, movie theaters need to lower their absolutely terrible prices by a lot. Fine, charge me $15 for a movie, but at least give me the popcorn, drink and candy for less! Going to a movie shouldn't have to cost me more than $20 bucks altogether, and I doubt you'll be losing much money off of it. At least people will have more motivation to see your movie in theaters and spend money on it rather than just watching it online for free!

Ether way I can say I'm gung-ho about this but as it is simply a natural progression in technology im not going to say it bad or frivolously argue the meeits of broadcast TV as streaming in my opinion is simply better.

My only complaint about television these days would have to be how perverted most of the TV shows are. Even on Netflix, which my relatives love to watch.
