People are having a giant gun show while the scientists are currently tweaking the cure from the last strain of the virus to be able to cure this one. With the average number of weapons per citizen being 335, with a 3 billion+ population, I think if the cure doesn't work we might be able to hold off a few zombies. Maybe.

All of the zombies in Minoa were treated and cured by 3am GMT (i.e. only 5 hours). There was no need for any kind of state emergency or martial law, since doing so would have incited alienation between us and the people. Our solid and sensibly funded healthcare system allowed peacetime A&E services to address the emergencies in a timely manner, before sending experts to cure victims in neighbouring countries. By avoiding a knee-jerk reaction to the idea of a zombie apocalypse, the fear of an apocalypse ultimately did not materialise, and no one died.

The post-emergency inquiry has concluded that the adulteration of the recipe for the seasonal Z-Pop soft drink was the cause of the outbreak. The police have arrested a number of people on suspicion of the relevant breaches of the Food Safety Act: the adulteration of food, upon conviction by the Upper Criminal Court, results in an unlimited fine and prison for up to two years.

Of course, this has been non-canon, but I'm proud of my strategy.

The military was overwhelmed by the outbreak in other countries near the borders, and they came in the millions. Nothing seemed to faze them. Nothing seemed to be possible of stopping the horde.

When the most technologically advanced and trained army on the continent couldn't hold back a sea of zombies, you know that you are truly and utterly screwed. Lady President Nina Marseille found herself often thinking a lot about what she could have done, but when it seemed that the heavens above seemed hell-bent on destroying your civilization, there really was nothing you could do.

They were safe, at least. The 22,186 survivors were at sea, far away from the continent of Eientei. The entire staff of Wardenclyffe had been successfully evacuated - thank the gods - but not much was left of the country. The 72 or so vessels of the Arcadian Exodus Fleet held whoever the Bundeswehr could find in the first month after the evacuation of Neue Cassledown. The city was now nothing more than a necropolis teeming with the bodies of undead millions.

Nina sighed from her office on board the Akaruikaze-class Nuclear Aircraft Supercarrier CMS Amatsukaze. There was no use on dwelling on the past. They had work to do.

Currently over 50 million citizens from all parts of society are held within the overfilled walls of the Imperial Seat of Oblivion. It is the last populated city on the Imperial Dominion's homeworld of Dominus Imperium. All buildings have been open up to habitation. Even the Imperial Senate, the Imperial Palace, Chamber of Lords, and the Cathedral of Thesse are being used to house the bulk of the Empire's remaining population.

The only place that isn't filled are the virology labs which are researching a cure to help out the rest of the New Worlds. Now that the zombies have been eliminated or cured (thanks to one of the few nations in the region that managed to get Cure Missiles) we've turned our focus to trying to wipe out the zombie menace foreign worlds.

We have stationed a carrier task force off your shores and we stand ready to conduct air strikes on your say so.

The Capitol Palace is being garrisoned by the 1st and 2nd SS divisions, with Army Group A's 1st army guarding the city portion. There is currently routine inspections by crack squadrons of Spetznaz soldiers wearing armored Biolevel 4 suits, as well as tank firesquads of two: one 150 mm main barrel, and one 23 mm mini gun tank. The airfields have been reinforced with HUGE amounts of defenses. Literally bunkers everywhere, and a mini fortress at the corners, connected by trenches, reinforced with razor wire and anti personnel mines. The walls of the Capitol have been given quad 20 mm cannons, as well as double barreled 40 mm to fight off the zombies if they attack. In the underground bunkers, cures are being researched, developed, and put into aerosol form for bombers to dispense over the masses.

It's a hectic mess civilians are panicking in the streets three infantry companies and the republican guard are desperately trying to hold the checkpoints from the undead hordes the sound of rifle and machine gun fire fill the air amidst the ever continuing moans of the dead. Our capital is in an absolute shambles with the infected already having taken nearly our entire population, we're currently evacuating survivors to the Governor's Palace, an old building atop a steep hill with soldiers ordered to shoot all incoming zombies while everyone with any scientific backround attempts to invent a cure. Things are looking grim, and we're calling up the Holy Empire of Divinia to send aid. They have promised to send aid when they've finished their cure, but at the moment we're on our own and heavily isolated. I hate to consider the possibility...but Resguard may shortly be no more...

Alexandria (Alexanda's capital city) sailed through the apocalyptic outbreak of the Z-Virus with flying colours. Three cases were reported, but they were all traced, isolated and cured in a quarantine hospital miles away from the city; currently, there are tanks on the street, armed police officers by major transportation lines and soldiers guarding key areas, although the threat has been removed.
Winter Palace has been cleaned, decorated and repaired ready for the return of the Royal Palace and other members of The Council, who are scheduled to arrive in the capital city early tomorrow morning.
This evening, the city has resumed to almost normality, tourists and citizens alike filling the streets and the normal hum of traffic that can be heard miles away.

In Ringitsgrad, the citizens cheer as a 60,000 man military parade marches through the streets of the capital to commemorate the sacrifice of our brave soldiers who slaughtered the undead scum who once tried to wrest control of the nation. The national anthem plays on the public loudspeakers as the flag of our proud nation flies high atop the capital building!

In Szaryeri, the hordes of the undead are finally growing few in number, though, the same cannot be said for the hordes of protesters growing greater day by day. Sariterres, a nation once of over two billion, has been reduced to merely thirty thousand people due to foreign hordes and the poorly planned extermination efforts of Prime Minister Davi Şimenyeri. The protesters, holding dear the traditional principles of ancestor worship and shamanism present throughout the country, mourn the loss of millions, the spilling of sacred Szarit blood, and the rampant disrespect for the ancestors who rose again during the crisis, and call for the immanent impeachment, trial, and even execution, of the Prime Minster.
