A new cosplay convention is taking place in New York City. It has been advertised as the biggest convention to ever take place. It was also advertised that the convention would be revealing something, something big. This mysterious something has been named "The Imagination Project." Thousands of people from across the United States and from overseas have come to experience this new cosplay convention and see what the Imagination Project is all about. At the end of the convention, the 30 thousand attenders were gathered into a room for the unveiling of the Imagination Project. The host of the convention, Shin Jiroku, instructed each person in the room to put on special glasses that were under their seats. Once everyone's glasses were on, Jiroku snapped his fingers and everyone with the glasses on fell unconscious. Upon waking up, each individual found themselves to still be in the convention building, however, they did not feel or look the same. It was soon realized that each of the cosplayers had somehow turned into the creature or character that they were cosplaying. Jiroku was still on stage, but he was now wearing a strange bright robe. Jiroku announced that this alternate reality was the Imagination Project, or as he preferred to call it, the World of Imagination. It was explained to everyone that they would all be trapped inside this world unless one of two things happened: Either they could defeat Jiroku and his army, freeing every cosplayer from the world, or they could die. Death, however, would not return them to their world. Death would cause the glasses the destroy their brain, killing them in real life. The cosplayers were shocked and nobody could believe what was happening. Some tried to attack Jiroku while he was on stage, but he quickly vanished. Cosplayers began to flee the building but quickly realized that they were no longer in the city of New York. The convention building is within some fictional city, which is in some fictional world.
It has now been 5 months since the cosplayers have been trapped in the world, and there has been no sign of Jiroku and his army as of yet. You will be RPing as a maximum of two cosplayers. Ultimately, this allows your character to be almost anything. However, powers are scaled down to even the playing field. So if you're rping as Zeus or Goku, don't expect to annihilate Jiroku's entire army with one attack. As some of you can tell, the concept is directly taken from Sword Art Online. Apps are below.
