*** Palacio del Pueblo, renamed Palacio Nacional, Guarija,

It happened. Campos was dead, captured by Cuscatlani special forces. MNC was running on the highest turns, winning the hearts and minds of the people. Massive programs to help people were started; MNC soldiers and militias were guarding people from the insurgents, setting up defence zones around Vital Target Points (VTPs), to ensure that the insurgents will not be able to disrupt the order. Massive amount of propaganda posters was being hung on the walls, blaming Campos and Dorians for the problems the islands was going through before MNC was established. Cuchara had to return to normality soon.

Admiral Jeremias Rosario Salazar looked at the map of Chucara. Most of the island has fallen to his Troops; now real phase 2 of the war begun. A war where no high - lethality weapons will be used; Cuscatlanis taught him well art of removing insurgents from the land. He exactly knew where insurgents could have "Resistance Bases" as defined by Mao Zedong. So, the first operation begun. He slowly turned back to face Cuscatlani advisor, major Nestor Santiago of DINA. They both saluted each other, and then Nestor spoke:
"Dear friend, we got new data for you " his voice was carried inside the thick walls "our intelligence is working all the time to help you in rooting out the terrorists. New premier of Chucara is located in Guadalupador at the moment".

"He will not have any power here soon" smiled Rosario, looking at his powerful muscles hidden under his black skin "We are preparing to destroy them once for all".

"I am not sure if you are aware, Admiral-President" smiled Nestor "that the war has just begun. It will not be a war of muscles, but war of minds my friend".

"I know" even bigger grin appeared on Rosario's face "We will hunt them down one by one for what they did to my people. But my people are the priority. We need to repair what wicked socialist regime of Campos did. Establish true capitalist society in this land...."

"And that is why I come to you" he smiled "We need to attract foreign investors if we are to remove poverty."

"Let me handle it" smiled Rosario.

"DINA has placed a bounty on each Terrorist's head. Let's for now task ourselves with removing the poverty..." smiled Nestor, as they continued their discussion. Soon a message to Inyurstan Black Sands INC. was sent:

Code: Select all
We heard that you are one of best companies in Inyursta operating within petroleum industry. We would like to sell you oil fields nationalised by Campos whore, under conditions that Chucaran people will be hired to exploit them.

Please telegram me your terms. I am awaiting your response.

Signed,

Admiral-President Jeremias Rosario Salazar

Soon the IYF special forces were joined by a group of local self described "Community police" units. They were armed with machetes and old hunting riffles, which Campos tried to ban all the time, always facing heavy resistance in parliament. Now Admiral Salazar allowed every man in the community to posses firearm to protect themselves against the insurgents. They wore civilian clothes, sometimes a military part.

The community leader smiled, and then shouted out loud "DIEGO! ALBERTO! Traiga comunistas aquí!" as two most well built "community police" members left for house which was provisional prison where "terrorists" were held. They soon brought two people with visible amerindian features, one of them wearing red che gueveara shirt and military trousers, second in full military gear. Mayor turned around and smiled:

"This are the Ejercito Zavalista de Liberacion Nacionale terrorists. They came here from Gran Cuscatlan to train their friends in the art of butchering people with chainsaws, performing occult rituals and raping under-age women. We captured them before they managed to contact anybody" visible grin appeared on the Mayor's face, as he looked on burns on one of EZLN terrorist skin "we already managed to talk with them for a bit, but did not managed to get anything. Perhaps you will?"

"We wanted to give them colombian necktie, but we figured that you guys would need them better" he said as he looked on them both kneeling, machetes touching their throats " if you do not need them we will get rid of them just now"

One of terrorists had visible fear in eyes, and unpleasant smell was coming from him. Smell of fear of death and smell of digested food they stole from farmers of Zavala, calling it "redistribution of wealth". He was visibly a coward, who feared his own death.

Second one however was looking with pride in his eyes. He was not afraid, after he drunk human blood to gain strength. He was sure they won't kill him and he will drink their blood soon....

Guarija

"Keep them for now he said" as he looked at the prisoners. "I will contact command and get someone on the line who can deal with them better. My men and I are actually stressed for time..." Major Ruiz said. Word was just now breaking that Campos had been captured just hours earlier. Turns out San Javier was hiding something bigger than they expected after all. Now command had given the order to move in and clear out San Javier the coming night before allowing the enemy to regroup and proceed from there.
"Oh yes, one last thing. My superiors plan on shutting down all seaborne traffic around the peninsula to the south-west of Guarija. If you would kindly inform your citizens to stay off the water then that would be appreciated."

Unknown Location, Outside of San Javier

"A few generals? A few?" Favreau asked with growing concern. All Campos had left of her crackpot regime was a handful of generals still loyal to her.
"Monsoir, viuz prejas ecotez a cette..." One of his radio operators said as he handed him the large phone-looking device.
The lieutenant turned his gaze to the prisoner.
"Well. Looks like your story checks out." he said. Clearly this kid was a grunt, and that was obvious by his age, rank insignia and by the fact he booked it over the edge of the hill faster than a trained ranger could acquire a third target after waxing the first two in less than six seconds. "Turns out that bitch Campos was in San Javier. Don't worry, she was probably hiding in some hole unknown to the cannon fodder like you she sent to go do her dirty work." he then turned to the rest of his men.
"Get this place cleaned up. We are moving out." he said. As he got up the man behind Dores reached around and grabbed the underside of his neck and pushed up, aiming to create a brief oxygen disruption that would knock him out of consciousness. Because Dores still had his hands bound, the attempt would likely go without a hitch.

Right now, the rest of the scout teams in this sector of Chuchara were observing the enemy's movements. It appeared San Javier was being evacuated. Somehow or another, a Cuscatlani airborne unit had managed to managed to nab Campos before they could make a play on San Javier - likely through informants or intercepted communications.
However, her whole deck of face cards were all still in play. They would likely be regrouping somewhere new, and driving closer and closer to the coast...

"INS Roberte Callardo", Approaching Chucharan Waters

The small convoy of ships was now approaching Chuchara. Before long, the Udaloy-II's radar was picking up air traffic over the island. Soon enough the Wasp-class landing ship and her cargo would be in position to make a major play in the fight for Chuchara - and potentially put the last nail in the coffin of any dream of another socialist nation here in America Libre...

From: Alan Christophe, CEO of Black Sands Inc.;
To: Jeremia Salazar, Admiral-President of Chuchara;

This offer seems reasonable, as hiring locals to do certain jobs will always be cheaper than importing nationals. However, certain technicians as well as individuals specialized in training may need to be contracted from Inyursta to provide said assets with better quality resources and technologies, as well as giving the locals the ability to operate and use the aforementioned resources.
I kindly ask you to name your price.

1900 Hours: Highway 225 Northbound, 40 Km from San Javier. (4/9/25)

The remnants of the defenders of San Javier moved their men and material northwards, away from the coast towards the interior of Chucara, where they would try and attempt to meet up with any remaining government units along the way. For the past few hours, the tired soldiers had been marching along with the LAVs and trucks that they filled to the brim with supplies. For General Pierdas' men, it seemed like it was the end. Morale was at an all time low, their Premier had given up and was executed, many soldiers questioned why they kept fighting. Pierdas, however, wouldn't stop. He had known of several units loyal to the government existing on the western end of the island, and that they still held territory there. To him, the combat stage was far from over. As they pulled into a town, they could see hundreds, if not thousands of refugees in tent cities all around the shanty town of Ramos. Most were driven out of the capital, others left, fearing retribution from the MNC. Many were intellectuals, professors, scientists, government bureaucrats, and critics of the Martinezists. All huddled together outside of some small town that the army was driving through. Pierdas shook his head as he passed by entire families of them. They don't know where to go. He thought as he passed by. His hand was balled into a fist as he thought about what would've happened to these people if they had stayed. I can't let this happen, this is maddening. He continued to think. As soon as the convoy passed the town, he decided that the dirt roads would be less susceptible to air attack, as the rainforest canopy would help camouflage the force. The 600 men of Pierdas' Army would be heading north-west.

Guadalupadorian Embassy Building, Guarija, Chucara

For the past two weeks, the Security Commander Leo Pavnoya has tried to negotiate a safe passage out of the country for the Ambassador and his staff, as well as food and supplies for the embassy. From his contact on the outside, Serpendo, he realized that the capital was abandoned by the government, and that he MNC and Inyuristans had moved in to pick up the pieces. Recent talks with MNC officials, about the embassy evacuation had produced fruitless results, it was either be incarcerated by the MNC or remain in the embassy. Two choices that were certainly unacceptable. He had the embassy lobby locked down, using nearly anything for cover. Embassy Security patrolled the roof as well as the perimeter of the building, from inside the gates, weapons loaded, and ready to fire if needed. Everything was quite tense as of now, Guadalupadorian/Axis Relations had hit rock bottom. Pavnoya was ready for a raid, if there was something about Martinezists that he knew about, they weren't the ones to negotiate, they were accustomed to using force.

Road to San Javier

The men of the 240th Strike Group had been given just a few hours to rest - not that a ruthless band fear-factor inducing Marine Corps shock troopers needed. Once darkness fell they began rolling towards one of three enemy-held locations on the island.
Intelligence collected by the rangers and drone surveillance factored in with reports of Cuscatlani airborne commandos all pegged that major players in Campos's chain of command were still alive and operating in isolated corners of the island.

It was just around midnight when they crossed into enemy lines. On the MNC side there was little more than a few checkpoints on the roads, but mostly just an open and recently-made perimeter with razor wire and foxholes in a few places, sitting in a fresh clearing a few dozen meters wide at the most; it's age evidenced by sap still seeping from recently felled trees glistening in the moonlight. The pinko's side seemed empty, just a dark forest ahead of them, the black holes between the trees and underbrush awaiting the strike force like hundreds of dragon's lairs awaiting knights to come brave them. Of course, in the story books knights always wore shining armor and white silk, while in reality the armor of a warrior would likely be aged and dented, rusted with the blood of his enemies - not much unlike the battle-hardened marines rolling behind their armored vehicles into the uncertain jungles ahead.

Image

Of course, they had their own assets capable of keeping them safe, TigerFly APS systems on many of the vehicles capable of nullifying enemy rockets, as well as an MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone loaded up with six AGM-176 Griffin missiles and two GBU-44/b Viper Strike bomblets ready to detect and destroy any enemy ambush.

Unknown Location outside of San Javier

When Dores came to he was left sitting by the road a mile or so outside San Javier. His hands were unbound and his leg was stitched up and put into a make-shift cast with military-issue gauze bandages around the sight of the bullet wound. Additional lacerations and scars near the entry site implied the bullet had been taken out before his leg was stitched up.
What he did now was all of his choice...

Meanwhile the rangers had long since packed up and moved on, once again broken down into teams as they tracked their pray further into the jungle. Only one team was taken out of action as they carried the body of the sniper and escorted the wounded man back to MNC lines.

Guarija

A small detachment of MP's assigned to the reduced logistical trail of the 240th, now temporarily based out of Guarija until a better FOB could be located, stood outside the Dorian Embassy in Chuchara. An armored humvee with a loudspeaker on top instead of a .50 cal rolled up the street and began broadcasting a message in both English and Spanish.
"Attention! All civilians are hereby advised to evacuate the premises in two hours. Repeat, all civilians are herby advised to evacuate the premises in two hours. All armed personel may also proceed out with their hands up in the next two hours, over!"
The loudspeaker continued to blast as the armored car rolled up and down the street, exposing as many angles of the building as popular to the spoken warning.
The MP units then produced a hand-held grenade launcher, and fired dud rounds threw the windows with the same message attached, advising civilians to evacuate and armed personel to surrender.

Meanwhile, a small Cessna aircraft was landing at the airport, with three passengers and one pilot inside. The pilot was just a contracted civilian, payed to take spooks around the globe and not ask questions. The other three were NIS agents, each specializing in a different aspect, but all pertaining to interrogation in one way or the other.
Right now they were here about the three Cuscatlani rebels captured aiding the opposition. They payed the pilot enough to keep his mouth shut, and more than enough to pay for a full tank of fuel back to Inyursta and a nice vacation with his wife back home; and then headed off in a black jeep waiting for them...

Bosque Nacional Baranque

A local farmer, Javier Ruiz, was out hunting in the national forest, with his two sons aged seventeen and fourteen. As they stalked through the underbrush searching for wild hogs, they heard a small group of people marching. One of his sons was about to yell to the men when he grew his hand over the teenagers mouth.
They looked armed, dangerous. The three watched as the men moved along the hillside on the center of the slope like professionals. It hadn't taken long for word to reach that the Inyurstan Chief of Staff, Veni Javez, had placed a $75,000,000 dollar bounty on the heads of those responsible for an apparent roadside attack or something against one of their Marine Corps convoys. With that kind of money he could move his family to the coast and live like a king off of the tourism industry. Javier could tell at least one of them was not Chucharan, but the problem was the man definitely looked Latino - which could be Dorian, Inyurstan or Cuscatlani. If it was the first then he had just hit the jackpot, if it were the other two then he was likely aiming a hunting rifle at very angry retribution...
"Pablo, go tell your mother to call the police. Victor, go get Eduardo and the boys and tell them to meet me down on the road as soon as possible." he instructed his sons as he watched the men walk forward clearly carrying military-grade supplies, keeping the foreigner in his gunsights as long as he could as the seasoned hunter side-tracked slowly and quietly parallel to the ravine across from the band of armed men.

*** Guarija

When IYF interrogation specialists landed, they were quickly taken to the new prison. Local Militia spent too much time on securing them instead of hunting commies, so they gave them to newly arrived volunteer regiment: St. Alexander Nevsky' s battalion, unit of Russian Counter-Liberal volunteers who came into Chucara to beat communists. Now the battalion had taken quarters in this region, before plans to move to Benicito, one of major rebel stronghold towns in Chucara interior which they plotted to assault alongside with Cuscatlani Airborne formations which were on the island. But for now, they were here. IYF agents were greeted on the airport by about twelve tall, muscular Russian men dressed in flecktarn uniforms and with their heads masked; only their commander with beret on his head remained unmasked.

"Greetings" he smiled, with heavy russian accent "I am Pyotr Ivanovitch Brusilov, I command 1st company of St. Alexander Nevsky's battalion. I am here tasked by Cuscatlani HQ, to take you to the prisoners".

They entered thee cars awaiting them. On their way to battalion FOB Brusoliv begun to speak:

"Thanks God we are here" his face became serious "we can fight with our counter - revolutionary comrades against menace which took my otchizna. I think De`Callero would be proud to hear that even people of USSR have enough of communism."

They entered the Battalion's base. It was old shopping centre turned into military base. Solid structure, occupied now by the volunteer unit. As soon as they entered the garage they saw four men dressed in battalion's uniforms beating local man - about 18, 19 years old - wearing Che Guevara shirt. They were shouting obscenities about him in Russian, while he received kick after kick, punch after punch, hit after hit.

"We caught him wearing Che Guevara shirt and agitating to support Campos regime" said Brusilov, as another boot hit the man straight in his belly "These guys will teach him not to do it. He was just recently caught".

They left the cars and went inside. Whole battalion was living there, but they led them to detention centre. Here, about 50 men - caught on communist agitation or supporting Campos regime - were held. The agents were led to interrogation room, where two communists were tied to the chairs. First one pissed himself on the sight when he saw agents entering; he tried to shout something, but his mouth was shut. Disgusting smell was coming from him. Second one however just stayed calm - but in pain, as Battalion's interrogator who once served in KGB was forced to grind one of his balls and still he was unable to make him speak. This man was humiliated and tortured on various ways but still refused to talk.

Haiti, Flardania

The Kalihiman, upon earlier decision, then decided to station themselves at Port-au-Prince where they rented a few small buildings as their temporary offices. At one of the offices, officers of the Kalihiman 3rd field division had convened. The new satellite feeds of the situation throughout Chucara came in. A 3d map of the area around San Javier and the area around the 2 mile perimeter which was under the Filipino base was shown. For the most part, the discussion amongst the officers were the alleged locations of the other Martinezist and Axis units hidden amongst the jungle which were taken with much greater consideration than the forces which were put by the enemy out in the open. They all theorized that if there were visible units, they were baits or traps which will make them as much as possible focus their energy and alertness on so as to put their guard down against the actual, everyone of them knew what happened in Burma debacle and they did not want to repeat that mistake. And after further ado, the decision was made, not to strike on land yet but execute firsthand "preliminary military operations". They also made use of the Axis documents which they acquired when Asigna Philippines was still member of the alliance. The doctrines, the troop numbers which were present upon the deployment of the first days of the Martinezist uprising and what they were to expect from the enemy.

"Smart." Commented Trisha, head of the Kalihiman after hearing about the 3rd division's plan to make use of "every available intelligence resource that will be useful for dealing with the enemy". "The first time we ever had that idea in mind. No wonder we were not so decisive before. It's our time to fix our setbacks." After the planning, there was not much to do in the city so the Kalihiman officers then decided to disguise themselves as Filipino overseas workers or mere tourists for their own protection. Even that, they were still guarded by armed agents in disguise as casual people, members of the Aklan-KK.

Deployment of the men came in the cover of darkness, for reasons unknown "Jérémie airport in sight, we're now going to land." 30 HAD S30 Sylrada ground attack fighter bombers landed on the city's airport all bore the Phi insignia, the typical imposing logo that belonged to Asigna Philippines. 20 F-22 raptors also came, 4 F/A-18 Hornets, 30 LY909 Sparrowhawk fighter jets as well as 4 AWACs, which was viewed us not really needed for the operations but would come in handy one way or another later on.

The 3rd field division's head planner took the initiative of giving the socialist and the loyalist Chucaran's their needed consent first through a highly encrypted communique if they were to execute the "preliminary military operations", which many thought were simply just a bunch of preparation drills. The very long wait already started to make everyone in the Carribean fleet think that they were not going to fight in Chucara at all. In a single night under the cover of darkness, Scout ranger commando units, regular infantry units, Aklan-KK spearhead forces, infantry fighting vehicles were quickly prepared in the port cities of Gonaives, Saint-Marc, Jeremie, Miragoane. In around 0100 H, the men who were sleeping in hotels in the city were woken up silently before each of them were gathered to the port as quickly and silently as possible. Understanding the fact they just woken up, they were given about 20 minutes to fix themselves, eat up their packed breakfast, they were already so ready about this hour that they already slept in their combat uniforms so that they won't have to pass the hassle of dressing up. Things were going to be executed as quickly as possible, the 30 assigned commandos where given only 3 minutes to prepare themselves, each of them grabbed their ammunition, their respective weapons and rations good for only 3 days, their combat uniform was lightened up to the point that they looked more like a simple rag tag force than the usual commando units that were deployed in Burma. The 30 commandos were quickly loaded in the prepared flotilla of motorized bancas that were poised as fishing boats used by locals.

In a final note, their commander said to them. "Ranger hukbo...this is going to be just like operation Merdeka...only...tougher."

"We've seen tougher things..." One of the rangers smiled as they loaded their small boxes of ammunition and various special hand held equipment unto the bancas. The man already saw the horror of war in South Rothinzil and has already learned that being a soldier needs preparation, they already learned it the hard way when they weren't prepared for an enemy missile counter attack on their positions as well as several attempted raids made against them. Determined not to repeat the same mistake, he already thought of all the possible scenarios that will reach them in this operation. He already thought of everything that could happen to them and whatever they could face. "There is no room for backing down." He said as he stepped unto the boat before it started its engines and sailed off into the darkness. Trying to be as invisible as they can, GPS was the only thing guiding them through the darkness of the sea which was illuminated by the weak light of the starry night overhead. There were about 15 of them in each boat, meaning, only 2 bancas were sailing as of this time which was actually a slightly scary fact as they risk facing a far greater enemy fleet that dwarfs their meek commando transport force, most of the enemy fleet however, as intelligence determines, were at the southern seas of Chucara.

The whole trip was going to be boring yet that some slept for those who had been assigned to keep a sharp look out with their night vision goggles, it was going to be tense. The look outs kept turning left and right watching out for aircraft carriers and overhead enemy assets. Prepared as they could to the situation if ever they were caught, they wore the outfits of poor fishermen which they kept at the cabinets of the banca. Every possibility came in mind. "Martinezist submarines...." One mumbled to himself as he searched the oceans for any suspicious movement. "Martinezist submarines.. Great white shark......"

"Great white shark?" His fellow look out raised a brow.

"Pasensya...we're near the Gulf of Mexico..we should expect those things. Keep a sharp lookout na!"

Boredom might consume them so they agreed earlier to take turns at being the lookout so the other could take a break. To break their boredom, they listened to radio signals and had music players with them which contained music sung by soldiers and those pop songs which were deemed as "Hukbo favorites".

There were 3 zones that were going to be their potential landing zones for their scouting.

2 mile perimeter, Filipino "perimeter zone"

In the perimeter zone, one of the projection technicians then started to arrange another message for the Chucaran people. Just as before, After the projection of a Phi insignira which appeared in the air through the clouds as a "canvass", the portrait of the information minister, Adriano Timente showed. His loud voice echoed through the sky through ultra loud giant speakers which were aimed at the people of San Javier so they could hear the message, the sky projection was only to capture their attention.

"Friends in Chucara...For so long...for so long we all have seen fascism roam the world. We had seen terror oppress nations, quash their freedom, so many people whose rights and dignities had been lost, all because of the biased one sided ideology of fascism. Chucara, freedom is your destiny. You deserve to be a great free nation no longer under socialism or fascism, rather, something better.

Martinez, this man...."
"Has not any right to determine the destiny of the Chucaran people as much as his guerrillas and terrorists do. These people don't have a future, as the vision of the Martinezist brigadiers is a world of constant war, oppression and pompousness. Whilst, there is no progress in this manner. Societies grow stagnant as they are forced to practice the same routines over and over as expression is heavilly controlled and dictated by dictators, appointed by those who organize, support and instigate rebellion back at Santiago de Cuscatlan, the capital of political terror and evil."

"These people would have no qualms in joining forces with other irrational terrorists, Islamists, Nazis...Principle for them is out of the question...So long as these people could get forces that will fight against those whom they see as enemies of their agenda, they will immediately fund, arm, train and fight with these people...terrorist or not. Their principle of indiscriminate support is unparalleled to that of the corrupt principles of the two superpowers during the cold war.

We all know god. He does not want this war to happen mostly because he does not want for anyone to suffer, but he understands that Chucarans must fight for their liberation from their own government which has mishandled them for so long but that doesn't mean one must turn to radicalism for the liberation of their nation as surrendering to Martinezism would mean surrendering to the same authoritarian government and oppression which you, Chucarans have had enough already...You all deserve better. Socialists, i know your minds are still soft enough so you are still able to reconsider the kind of society in which you fight for.

As we commence the strategic bomb strikes against to punish the unholy elements that has plagued Chucara, this opportunity is the perfect opportunity for the people of Chucara to finally rise up for their freedom and push the enemy and those intruding to eat up the deserved free will of the Chucaran people back into the shores of the island and finally running back to their respective homeland where these army of mercenaries and volunteers belong to.

Do not die for the bigoted Cuscatlani pirate who wears the eye patch in his left eye, live and fight for yourselves! After all, that is why god has given us our own free will, we will keep this free will and with this free will, we can say no one else owns us! You are not communists nor Martinezists....you are who you are...You are Chucarans as we, your brothers who are speaking to you are Filipinos!

At this very moment, the operation has begun, your opportunity has come. You'll be given 10 seconds to enter the thoughts of a truly Chucaran government that is neither leftist or rightist which favors any given ideology that is just invented by some foreign nation....let this revolution be one that is truly Chucaran....clench your fists in the air, grab your weapons and fight! VIVA LA REVOLUCION CHUCARO!

Liberate your own villages and take no sides, when the time comes that Martinezist nor communist forces are out of the picture, it would be time for you to unite with the other fellow Chucarans who had also risen up. May god bless you all. We are praying for the deliverance of your nation from its plight."

The projection then vanished from the sky and the night again was silent of any real louder noise other than the noise from the crossfire in Chucara below.

At Port Au prince, several launchers were moved to port in the darkness into the ports. A total of 30 LY7/4072 Cockatrice Multiple Rocket System were lined up in different locations in the city LY219/220 Shepherd STMRAD along with the anti aerial flak tanks, the Vino (Fury) Type 3 accompanied the missile launching units.

Back at the Zamboanga tower, a team of scientists lead by the science minister of the bayan, Doktor Darwin Gonzales were assigned to oversee executing the tactical launch operations.

"Perfect payback time for the Martinezists." Said Meier who was merely watching the scientists do their stuff on the screens and computers. He was awed by the fact that they were controlling launchers that are located on the other side of the world. "We have a 1/40 chance of actually hitting the targets...according to my mental math, that's the best case scenario."

"That's very discouraging we all should think this will work...We have only 3 immobile targets in Chucara..." Complained one of the scientists.

"We have a lot of targets to deal with...." Meier replied.

"And we use so many missiles on each one target why?"

"Out of the sake of being sure that the target and the surrounding vicinity gets eliminated."

The final stages of the preparation then commenced as the technicians as well as the main members of the science team started reciting the technical terminologies and checks. "Finished programming the GPS coordinates...Block IV TLAM-E warheads are now in place. All systems go."

"Maghanda ng sampung saglit na pagbilang! NA!" Commanded Meier. The Heneral turned to check the time at his watch. "0100 H" Who knew it was still so early? He thought.

"TIRA!" Shouted Darwin as buttons were simultaneously pressed. Wireless satellite signals went all the way to the missile launching batteries at Port Au Prince. The missile crews who were taking their breaks jumped in shock as the equipment behind them blasted away their load in a thunderous unison. In about a few seconds, 30 tomahawks were already flying in the sky in full speed. The wonderful sight of the simultaneous eruption of rockets from the city astonished the rocket crews who placed their shades as the rocket boosters lit up slightly lit up the night sky.

"Palacio Nacional...away with you." Mumbled Meier who beholded the status of the missiles on the screens in front of him.

"TIRA ULIT!" Commanded the Heneral as the scientist and his colleagues pressed the launching buttons again. Back at Port Au prince, the missile batteries opened fired once more. 30 good more missiles fired into the air. It was notable that there was about a 1 minute interval between the two firing phases.

The first 5, guided by GPS coordinates of this little position, headed for impact towards the Palacio Nacional at the capital of the Martinezist insurgency. Incredibly dangerous and lethal cluster munitions, the same old abused kind of tomahawk warheads, was to be used upon this single strike. 5 were targeted towards the power stations at San Javier and another 7 at Guarija. Power line pylons in between cities, were also targeted. 5 were targeted at radio stations, broadcasting stations in different locations at San Javier. The airport at San Javier was the final target of the first batch, the hangars were to be hit by the remaining cluster munition missiles.

Guarija's airport meanwhile was not spared as well. 20 rockets from the second batch hit the Tarmac with cluster munition warheads aiming to totally degrade and finally, destroy the vital parts of the runway to render it in unusable for aircraft, another 5 hit the hangar, high explosive warheads were used on this single strike on the other hand. 8 missiles were to hit the radio stations in Chucara.

"Breaking their access to major medium for communication is a crucial task." Meier commented. The last 2 hit warehouses nearest to the airport, one for each, for the destruction of the alleged supply stations in the city. High explosive warheads were used in these final strike, which Meier commented, was indecisive but "could come pretty handy, even though lack of planning for these 2 last rockets would mean it's pretty much useless for achieving us a strategic advantage".

The "preliminary operations" were not over, in fact, Meier said that they will not even stop at all. "We won't be stopped until Martinez and all evils are expelled from the island once and for all. Until Chucara is free." He said to the science team.

Meier then watched as one by one, the icons which represent the launchers on the Haiti map at the big screen where marked from "READY" to "FIRED". "Phase one is over, phase two begins." The Heneral said taking a deep breath as he announced in a moderate indoor voice to the science team and to all others with him in the underground control center where they are right now. "Operation storm hunter..has begun." He puffed. As of this time, the launchers at Port Au prince began to reposition into their new designated areas further up in the city near the mountains where population was less.

Punungan palace.

"Operation storm hunter.....?" The Filipino leader blinked. The brigadier Heneral, who just whispered to him the news of the commencement of the operations swallowed as he was nervous that he will receive criticism from Terten, who earlier remarked of how they were tired of wars. "The Hukbo economy can handle all these right? We cannot be sure the Dangan corporation alone can keep every expenses we have in full check. Plus, these times, Cuscatlan may retaliate one way or another in an unpretty fashion, every single official must be under full time protection of the Aklan-KK, am i understood?"

"Opo Gin'o."

"What's the holy week meter at?"

"Good friday punong...."

"Good enough. Come! Eat with me. At ease Brigadier Heneral. This war to reverse the horror that we mistakenly made that is the Axis has just begun. They want war with us? We'll then fight back." As it seemed, Terten already had renewed attitude for a military conflict, but his attitude towards Burma may not be the same, many suspect, it's only in Chucara since he has a far greater agenda to achieve there, he hasn't told anyone what it was.

'Shipfishing zones'
Eluide meanwhile, was at Port Au prince, eating inside a restaurant with several of his colleagues in the, the moment he heard the rockets were to fire, he gave the go signal for his part of the operation to commence. The Heneral also found out that the time was 0100 H as well, still early.
30 LY909 Sparrowhawk fighter jets took off from Jeremie and headed for, they were divided into 5 groups as they took off. They headed for the As their targets, the enemy ships come into sight, they shall disperse into different directions and begin engagement maneuvers, which shall happen much later. Every enemy ship in their path was to be destroyed, by exocets. Within 3 kilometers, immediately, each Sparrowhawk would fired 2 lethal exocets and dive low a bit to drop 2 rounds of P-800 Uhoq (Onyx) Anti-Ship Missiles, for each ship they see, heading back to base after they already got one in order to refuel, rearm and return to the field. P-800 Uhoq (Onyx) Anti-Ship Missile, the P-800-A, Meier recently warned of its potential to sink a ship as those air launched torpedoes would able to make "supersonic" sprints towards their target in a manner that the target ship has only so much time to react. Even though untested by them, Meier was very enthusiastic about testing this weapon which had long been existing in his inventory and actually using it in open combat. Only trial runs had been made by their pilots and they were tested against immobile units, whether or not this is the right weapon to be used against the enemy battleships existing in southern seas of Chucara, it's only a question of time.

It didn't matter them how long it would take for the pilots to fly continuously in the two defined "Anti ship fishing zones" (shortened to 'shipfishing' by Meier) within the time limit given to them. (maximum of 3 hours before returning to base)

Understanding the situation they just had undergone to, the vice admiral at the BRP Gitlan carrier decided to go "offensive by the air" but "defensive on water". Things were dire, the moment the firing began they all knew that their carrier would be the immediate target so they would have to settle for right defense, fast.

A dozen of the 20 plane strong Corsaire fighter bomber fleet in the carrier was made to fly in a circular motion around the carrier in a 4 kilometer sized perimeter so as to cover the carrier with a protective "aerial cover". The vice admiral also knew the fact that the Axis has the capability to sink a ship even at long range, hearing about the recent events of the fate of the Dorian carrier group at the Adaman sea in the Burmese civil war.

"Hard to starboard full speed ahead!" He ordered as the carrier began to turn southeast so as to reach the range of the airforce umbrella in the shipfishing zones. The dozen Corsaires which kept making aerial patrols around the 2 kilometer perimeter kept a close eye on the movement of aerial assets from the north.

*** Islas del Torre, Gran Cuscatlan

"No Kill like overkill" - Admiral Paulo Rocha Thaido

Sound of alarms begun to ring on whole Islas del Torre. What occurred was mass mobilisation; thousands of sailors were running towards their ships, preparing themselves for all - out assault on Filipino forces which were just detected. The mobilisation was great - whole Cuscatlani Caribbean fleet was called for attack. Soon whole ports were black of ships which under cover of darkness were leaving for their destination. The groups were spreading into whole area, to form "a wall of ships" against Filipino attack. It would be one of greatest sea battles ever known in Latin America.

Admiral Paulo Rocha Thaigo looked at the map. ELINT satellite successful identified Asignist carrier group on the open ocean. He looked with suspiciousness on it. They were attempting to fight with Cuscatlan on the homefront? They will be granted their wish, and Caribbean sharks would know how Filipino meat tastes. He intended to feed them well. and preparations for this operations have begun. He was also informed by Area Air Force commander that whole area was to cooperate with him when destroying Filipino ships.

"After Dorian carrier group went sinking - those fools still not learned to use AEWC" he smiled to himself, while looking at reports from his subordinate forces "time to teach them how real naval commanders fight."

His plan to attack was simple and was to be carried quickly, giving enemy units not even a moment of time to react. These fools at coalition naval command thought that Corsaire radar would be as proficient as AEWC - when it will not be even as half proficient, because it was not created for this role. It was not created to see below the horizon as AEWC radar was. Soon whole carrier group would share the fate of Dorian carrier group which sunk near Burma, sunk by Riysan forces.

A single TYPE 0870 Kong Jin AEWC was flying towards the Filipino fleet, but stayed long beyond their range. It had different role to perform. It would actually serve as guiding platform for strike which will guide whole attack on Filipino carrier. Their Corsaires will not help them, as they will not even have chance to react properly. And when carrier will go down, they will not even have place to land, so they will crash into the sea. Inboard the AEWC the work went on full force;

"Control, Radar: new contact bearing one six seven, designated track T zero zero one" said the radar operator as they were flying long beyond Filipino air force range "target signature matches Filipino <insert class here> carrier, over".

The contacts were popping out like mushrooms after the rain, AEWC tracking them pretty well. ESM confirmed presence of Filipino task force. Now, assault was being carried to sink it.

From the fleet, two groups were approaching Filipino fleet, going at 03 knots. They slowly ascended from the deeps into 017 meters, and prepared to blow the hell out of the Filipino fleet. At 500 km range the attack begun. Two groups per three OSCAR II SSGN, each with modified by Cuscatlanis P-700 Granit - which will at mach 2.3 speed soon fly towards the Filipino fleet - launched so called Dispersed attack on Filipino fleet. Roughly two salvos per 2 missiles/submarine was fired; 2x6+6 missiles were approaching Asignist fleet from both sides, being guided by AXISAT constellation. They had their data confirmed, missiles locked.

At the same time, AEWC started jamming Filipino radars, knowing on what frequencies they operate. But it was not the end of the attack. Another wave of TU22M3 - each with three RADUGA KH22MA - were flying towards them, approaching them from both flanks. They fired roughly seconds after the SSGNs attacked. 9+9 Radugas were flying towards the fleet, targeting various ships. Each was launched 500km away from the fleet, and traversed on MACH 5 speed, targeting especially air defence platforms, even if few were aimed at supply ship. This time it was massed attack, and it had a chance to score as good result as Riysan attack on Dorian fleet, as still, Filipinos will not see the missiles until they enter their conventional radar range - which would be too late to activate the CIWS, calculate the missile trajectory and shoot them down. Filipino carrier should end the same way as Dorian carrier ended...

As for ship - fishing zones - they found only one Surface Action group in second zone. The group was stationed there before was more than well prepared to deal with the coming threat. Four destroyers and a battlecruiser quickly were prepared as AEW helicopter seen the incoming planes from over 300km; the defence was prepared and what to do with them planned. At first, battlespace was divided into 3 Air Defence Zones. When Pino aircraft entered the Long Range Zone the hell begun. Roughly 20 S-400 missiles were launched at them and dashed towards the aircraft. Cuscatlanis were not taking any chances.

From the west whole division (24) of IEK-92 Generalissimo López (copy of Inyurstan plane of the same marking) were flying in groups of four, using their advanced avionics to quickly track Filipino targets. They were not going to engage themselves in Dogfights - they used their capability to fire AIM-120 AMRAAM on Filipino targets from outside their target's action range and simply dazed away, returning to Gran Cuscatlan.

"Prepare to be glassed!" - Admiral Carlos Radder

To Enforce Martinez' s words, whole huge group of Ships was positioning themselves for strike. Flardanians should know that with such limited firepower their colony will be turned to ashes very quickly and they won't be able to do anything about it. Cuscatlanis were coming, and nothing could stop them from it....

Executive Office, Castille de Terro

Steady and heavy rain drops beat down on the windows of the large office space afforded to President Jack Peresque. The well-dressed man in his late 50's watched as the prevailing winds blasted a downpour of water onto the palm trees surrounding the large building.
Sitting in a chair smoking a cigar was Chief of Staff Veni Javez*, dressed in his cliche Latino military leader olive green Class-A's.
"So you are asking me for permission to sink a carrier group belonging to a nation that was our ally just months ago?" President Peresque asked.
"Well you see, Jack, because of tensions in Burma and other issues between the Martinezists and Asignists in Southeast Asia - " The seasoned military officer said, referring to the president by his first name due to his presumed seniority over the former banker-turned-president.
"Let me cut you off right there. This is Latin America - the Neotropics, America Libre - we are talking about, not Southeast Asia."
"And that Jack, is why we must act now. We are not talking about another tinpot "social democracy" based off the East German 'Nordic' model wanting to implement (anti-)Bolivarian socialism; we are talking about a hostile menace here to turn the nations in our very own back yard against us. Do not think of them as Filipinos, as mestizos, think of them as foreigners. No different from the French, Spanish, British, and above all the Soviets..." Javez stated, scowling as he imagined what he would have done to the Soviet ships propping up Carmon Solvereux's leftist regime if he were in his father's shoes wielding the anti-ship capabilities he had now...
"Fine. Do it. But make it quick... I want as little lasting fall-out from this as possible"

Porte Gallo & Sant Cojaci Coastal Installations, Topoguya

In the early morning light the night shift crews of two road-mobile SSM-4 "Leviathan" anti-ship missile batteries, three trucks with a total of two missiles each, were given a target moving off the coast of Chuchara. Once a combination of intel gathered from RORSAT observation, local reports from Chuchara, and most importantly ELINT and radar observation from local patrols of E-3 Sentry AWACS, the missiles acquired their targets.
At approximately five-thirty in the morning, the order was given to fire. Almost instantly and in unison twelve supersonic sea-skimming AShM's blasted off the northern coast of Topoguya and into the sky, before coming back down to glide just above the surface and under the radar of enemy vessels. Once within terminal attack distance, the missiles would begin pseudo-random maneuvers to make it much harder for enemy CIWS systems to lock-on and engage the warheads before they impact with a 1000lb+ penetrator warhead.

A joint-task force air mission was then launched from the two north-coast bases. Two Air Force Su-37MI multirole fighters took off from Porte Gallo, while eight Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet fighters blasted off from Sant Cojaci Marine Corps Station. The Su-37MI were packing a capable anti-ship weapon, the KH-59MK, but their real mission would be to pick off enemy AEW&C with their long-range K-100 anti-air missiles. On the other hand, the F/A-18E fighters were packing one of if not the most capable anti-ship missile around - Lockheed Martin's stealthy and soft-kill immune LRASM-A - with medium and short-ranged defense as a secondary concern.
They formed up into one group of ten aircraft, and also plotted their approach below the radar horizon, and headed off to finish off what the Leviathan missiles would leave behind...

Guarija

The only thing standing in the way against the indiscriminately aimed tomahawk missiles was a four-battery ring of MIM-23K Hawk surface-to-air missiles used by the MNC. Only seven missiles were stopped, as the rest rained down on the city. Cluster munitions hammered the MNC HQ, and anyone and everything nearby - including dozens of civilians. The airport and radio stations in Guarija were also eliminated, the latter of the strikes also causing more civilian casualties.
Their targets had been destroyed, but at what cost?

I'm going to let Guadalupador respond to the attacks against San Javier because its technically still in his control, I think.

1300 Hours: Baranque National Forest (3/9/25)

A company sized force of guerrillas moved slowly, and quietly through the forest, towards the Filipino "Research Station". Drez moved along as he watched a forward runner, move to lead the way through the forest. He watched the soldier intently, watching nearly each and every move he made. He saw the fighter turn his head slightly to the left, then stop right in his tracks. The commander knew something was wrong. Drez signaled his men to stop immediately. The whole force grinded to a stop in the middle of the forest.

Drez watched the forward scout put his hands behind his back and signaled back towards him. One Hostile. Directly To My Left.

Drez peeked around a tree to see an older looking gentleman aiming a rifle at his scout. He turned back towards his men and signaled one fireteam to quietly move around the man. The Guerrilla fighters moved smoothly between the rainforest's trees, until they were nearly within breathing distance of the farmer.

One guerrilla pointed his rifle back towards the man, taking the farmer by surprise. "Freeze. Put the weapon down." The guerrilla spoke quickly.

Drez moved over towards the farmer and asked him: "Are you one of those Commos? Well, are you?" Drez asked aggressively in Spanish. "We got word from the MNC, that there were some damn Socies here. A lot of them too. You don't happen to know where they might be, do you?" Drez played the part of a Martinezist volunteer fighter quite well. "Are you working with them?" Drez asked, in a lighter tone.

The scout then went over and played along, reporting that there were originally two others with the farmer.

"Did you call the loyalists?" Drez asked, accusingly, pointing his rifle near the farmer's feet. Drez looked back towards his force, and gestured them to move past the farmer, while the fireteam and Drez continued to talk to the farmer.

Guadalupadorian Embassy Building

The whole embassy was restless, the night before was quite straining, as cruise missiles hit several places all over Guarija. Everyone was tense this morning, if the Dorians had to fight their way out, then they would. Pavnoya had his finger on the trigger of his M4, pointed right at the entrance to the embassy, until he heard a voice over a megaphone. It was different, it didn't sound Chucaran, or Cuscatlani. Somebody else was calling out to them. Leo slowly lowered his M4 and walked out of the building. He could see a humvee move past the embassy, broadcasting a message. Leo walked to the gate and tried to get the attention of an MP. "Hey! Hey you! I'd like to negotiate our safe passage out of Chucara!" Pavnoya yelled to the Inyurstan soldier.

0500 Hours: Cristos City Defensive Line, Pierdas' Regiment, Chucaran Loyalists (4/9/25)

Pierdas' Regiment had finally made it to the Defensive line of Cristos City, one of the few major cities still under government control. The force crossed the line over towards the FOB in the Provincial Administrative Building. The conditions of Cristos City seemed so much better than what he had in San Javier, the force in Cristos City stayed loyal to the government during the initial overthrow of Campos' Regime, and therefore retained all of their equipment. Since attacking Cristos City didn't seem to be much of a priority for the MNC at the time, this gave the force time to fortify and organize resistance. With better equipment, more supplies and manpower, it would be a challenge for the enemy to take on whoever held Cristos City. Pierdas walked straight into the FOB to meet with the commander, General Rito. Pierdas was impressed to say the least, San Javier couldn't hold up to anything like this. Pierdas walked straight into Rito's Office. "Martin, it's been ages old friend." Pierdas greeted his fellow general.

"Andres? I almost thought you never made it out of San Javier!" Rito got up and hugged his old friend. "I heard about Campos." He said.

"She insisted that she stay. She wasn't that much of a good leader, perhaps she realized that, and thought that she would be sent to jail for the rest of her life." Pierdas said.

"Such a shame, the MNC just kills political prisoners of war like that. A stage trial, just to keep up the illusion that they're civil." Rito said, sitting back down at his desk.

"How goes the war, friend?" Pierdas asked.

"The MNC, Cuscatlanis, and Inyurstans captured the capital, and Rosario-Salazar is declaring victory. He believes that the war is already won." Rito chuckled. "He was always an egotistical one..." Rito reminisced to before the war, and his dealings with the Admiral. "Of course, the war isn't over yet, I still have control over three brigades worth of troops, artillery, and armor. The civies here aren't too happy with the MNC either, we have the people here on our side willing to help us. On top of that, we have about two squadrons of rotary-wing aircraft in hiding, waiting to be used. To my knowledge, we're one of the largest concentration of government forces on the island. Though we did recently receive contact from several regiments on the eastern side of the island, they, combined, have a wing of fighter/bomber aircraft under their control. And lastly, we now have organized ourselves, into an army again... shocking isn't it?" Rito reported, before chuckling.

"Rosario-Salazar only has control of the central parts of Chucara?" Pierdas said, realizing that the situation wasn't as bad as previously thought.

"Thanks to the Dorians, there are guerrilla fighters out there in MNC territory, so Rosario-Salazar really doesn't realize that the war is far from over." Rito said, smiling. "The only thing that we lack is naval power. Which, hopefully, the Philippines, will regroup and send a larger force over here, same goes for the Flardanians, I mean, they're in Haiti for God's sake." Rito finished.

"And Ramon Sine is removing the ban on the Church, as well as fixing Campos' mistakes. He's distancing himself away from Amelia Campos, and trying to be the moderate option to this whole thing. Which I think is ideal." Pierdas said to Rito.

San Javier

Sounds of cruise missiles coming down on the town of San Javier echoed through the night as the 240th Strike Group moved on the city. HAV-75's leading the charge bumped briefly as they rolled through the pot holes left by MNC and Cuscatlani airstrikes, and the up-armed BTR-80's followed suit. They came to a halt and left infantry begin to disperse as infrared and electro-optical cameras scanned for likely IED's.
Unbeknownst to them, the cruise missiles had been Filipino, firing on a friendly town for whatever reason had led them to beleive it was MNC ships firing the tomahawks at San Javier.

Guarija

The MP noticed the embassy guard. He had no orders to negotiate, he had orders to get civilians to evacuate, or at least put enough effort so that if any died when that building inevitably imploded into itself the Inyurstan Armed Forces couldn't say they didn't warn them...
"Attention! Drop your weapon immediately!" he shouted.
"Drop your weapon or you will be fired upon! This is your final warning!
All civilians are urged to evacuate the premise! All armed personel may drop their weapons and surrender immediately. Your time for evacuation is running out!!!
" he continued, knowing that in a nearby window was a marksman with an M14 DMR ready to pop the man in the head should he raise that carbine of his. In addition, a laser designator was also being deployed on the rooftop, while civilians in surrounding buildings were being evacuated as well...

One of the NIS agents rolled up his sleeves as the Russian paramilitaries brought him to the captured Cuscatlani terrorists. He grabbed the man by the jaw and looked at both sides of his face - the same way the Predator monster did to Arnold Swartzenager.
"Hmm? A tough one... I assume he has been given the usual pussy eurotrash-wannabe water boarding?" He said to the Russian nationals.
"Get me some bleach and some pool chlorine tablets. Let's see how long he can stand an Inyurstan water-boarding..."

Bosque Nacional Baranque

Javier dropped his rifle and raised his hands.
"No..." He chuckled.
"I already called the authorities. They can sort out who here is the red menace that followed Campos and her thugs..." He was half-bluffing. Javier knew that if they were anti-MNC guerrillas their only choice would be to shoot him and then break away as fast as they could which would allow his sons time to get away safely. If they were MNC freedom fighters then they would gladly wait around for the authorities, as well as every able-bodied male villager with a gun, to show up and sort the mess out.

*** Shanty Town, After San Javier

Pierdas totally ignored reality leaving these people. His units withdrew to Cuidad Cristos, leaving these men in Shanty town alone, as they were unable to keep up with APCs. Now however, they were stunned by another sound of engines; this time it were MNC-aligned engines. Three companies were entering their camp from three different directions. In the middle of the road trucks were coming, and soldiers were placed on each side preventing ambush. Above them were flying drones. These men however had not flag belonging even to one Latin American Country; their flag was two-headed eagle on black-golden-white background. Companies A, B, C from St. Alexander's battalion entered the shanty town, to claim it for the Counter-Revolution. They quickly unpacked fighters from the trucks in the centre and spread out. Captain Ivan Ivanovitch Makarov looked at his men and told them:

"Be nice and polite" he instructed them "Until somebody opposes us, do them no harm. Gather everybody on main square, I have them something to announce."

Counter Revolutionary russians quickly spread out, securing and searching building after building. When arms were found they were to be confiscated and taken main square. Ivan quickly ensured that his men will clear every sector of the camp and then when everybody was gathered on main square, he shouted, with his translator translating from Russian to Spanish:

"We are the St. Alexander Nevsky's battalion!" he shouted like a thunder "We come here to smite the enemies of counter-revolution. Chucaran people, we are here to help you. No one who is not a criminal will be harmed today. Now you will be taken into better place, my men escorting you there. Nobody will be harmed today! But first, if anybody has telephone number to General Pierdas or one of his friends, give it to me. You can help counter-revolution that way!"

Makarov rose his arms into sky:

"Svoboda or slavery? Choice is yours. You may be pawns of socialists, but if you prefer to live free turn away from the commies and fight with MNC!"

Inyurstan agent quickly gotten what he needed. The tough one spat at him very quickly, and shouted:

"I will drink your blood after I rape you!" he was serious, EZLN raped men too when they captured it ( to steal their vital force).

Cuscatlán; how do you automatically know Pierdas in the one in charge of the loyalists?

Guarija

The NIS agent took his hand, wiped the spit off his face, and even licked a small portion. He turned his head as he made a faint sucking sound on his tongue implying that he was debating how it the spit tasted before he spit right back at the eyes of the captured prisoner.
"The only thing you will be drinking today is bleach; however, if you really are that horny I'm sure we could find something *hot* to stick your junk into..." he said as the two others fastened the terrorist (who now 'officially' had already died when the Martinezist Uprising stormed Guarija) to a metal table in a secluded room away from the others.
They then tossed a wet towel over the man's face and slowly poured water which had been mixed with a 1/4 gallon of bleach onto their prisoner. Right now they weren't asking any questions and definitely not expecting answers; this was all just part of breaking the man's spirit, crushing every ounce of self-dignity left in home and taking him back beyond primal instinct until there was nothing left but the desire to make the pain stop. Then, he would be ripe for questioning...

Comieria, Chucara

The Russian Commander finished his speech, to the silent crowd in the town square. One voice spoke up, it was a young woman, about 19. "What if we don't want to live under the MNC? What if we had a nice peaceful life before this war occured? Huh?"

The woman was then followed by an old man in the crowd. "You're making us choose between what types of tyranny we'd like to live under. If you're asking me, Mr. Makarov, that's not much of a good choice!"

Large sections of the crowd nodded in agreement to the old man's statement. Others spoke up. To the troops of the St. Alexander Nevsky's Battalion, winning the hearts and minds of the Chucarans would be easier said than done. "We've heard of your unit! You torture, and murder! For what? Freedom? Is that how freedom is earned? By committing war crimes?!" Another individual called out.

Though a few in the crowd voiced another opinion: "Thank you for being here! All I want is this war to end!" A war weary civilian replied.

"We will happily assist you, we will feed and house you. Though we don't know much of Pierdas' whereabouts." Another individual said.

The majority began to take over the talking points, however, as they voiced their concerns to Makarov as loud as they could. "Who are you to judge us? Who is a criminal in your eyes? Me? For speaking out against both the MNC and Campos? You are not welcome in my home!"

"I am a refugee because of this war! I was driven out of my home because of your damn fool's regime change!" A well-off looking man yelled at Makarov.

"Are we criminals, because we ran away from you?! Fuck the counter-revolution!" A young man yelled, to the cheering of some. "You're not in good company, Makarov! I'd suggest that you move on!" The man continued. "Why does the MNC need FOREIGNERS to fight in OUR war?" He yelled, we'll only be liberated by our own countrymen!" The young man finished, to the approval of most of the crowd, filling the town square with thunderous applause.

Now chants of "Leave! Leave!" Filled the air, as the people began to get restless.

Russians rose up their arms, but Makarov stopped them with a gesture.

"Nobody will be hurt today" he said "From now on your shanty town is at the protection of our battalion. We are taking our headquarters here. Nobody of you will be harmed as long as you would not carry hostile acts against us"

He smiled at them "you may disperse".

A briadcast was issued from Adm. Rosario-Salazar.

Dear Chucaran Citizens,

I am alive, even if most of my Cabinet is dead. I am now however addressing you not on this matter. I am here to in short describe economic reforms my government is going to make. They will benefit you greatly, I ensure you. First reform will be cutting high taxes Campos imposed on everyone. It will make most of your money to stay in your pocket, not in the pocket of the government. Second, abolish central bank of Chucara and ensure that the money will be emitted by Chucaran congress, backed by the silver standard, as our nation has plenty of silver. Third, total removal of "green tax" imposed by Campos on "polluting" industries. Fourth, all companies nationalised by Campos - banks excluded - will be returned to their owners.

I salute you in our counter-revolutionary struggle. May God bless Chucaran nation in our fight for better tomorrow!

*** General country.

By orders of General Miguel Martins Schmidt - the commander of the Cuscatlani forces in Chucara - great anti - Insurgent operation has begun. While front has stabilized and 10th Infantry division was preparing itself to take Cuidad Cristos - 10th Airborne division begun taking part in new COIN operation on whole MNC controlled area. First important step was formation of TAOR battalions: fused units of MNC and Cuscatlanis, 2 MNC companies and 5 Cuscatlani companies. Each such battalion was to be attached to Tactical Area of Operations (TAOR). Whole villages were being fortified, and soldiers had to live among the population, integrating with them and answering to their needs, distributing humanitarian aid and helping them when they needed it. Each such village was fortified to disallow insurgents operating in them. Priority targets were communication and infrastructure nodes, which were to be secured from Guerilla attacks. Patrols in small units were to be launched to surprise and track insurgents. Cuscalanis/MNC begun also arming loyal citizens to ensure that they will be able to defend themselves. Now freedom of movement of Guerillas was highly restricted, but the worst was yet to come...

*** Guarija

The insurgent tried all the time to resist. He was coiling like snake, flexing all of his muscles to ran out. However he seemed after all this torture to be loosing his spirit that kept him alive all this time.

Comieria, Chucara

As soon as the Russian Volunteers raised their arms towards the crowd, even the supporters of the MNC were going along with their fellow countrymen, yelling: "Murderers Out! NO FOREIGNERS!" As they had been wronged. Makarov was nearly droned out by the reaction to the simple movement. One refugee yelled: "We voice our opinions, and now you're gonna shoot us?! You're animals! All of you are!" The citizens didn't heed the Brigade Commander's words to disperse. They held their ground, staying in the square, continuing to chant "Leave! Leave!"

"Is this what constitutes as a hostile act towards you?!" The woman who first spoke up yelled at Makarov. "We don't need your 'protection!' Get the hell out of this town now!" The crowd was certainly rowdy, but no one in it would raise their hand against the Russians, the protest was angry, but non-violent, the crowd hoped, at least. "You don't order us around! Foreign invaders don't topple our government and install their own puppet in its place!" The woman yelled through a megaphone, recently handed to her by another demonstrator. It was all up to the Russians to determine what would happen next.

Baranque National Forest

Drez smiled at Javier, and turned back to his second in command. "Go off and lead the rest on patrol, we'll will stay here and get things straightened out with the authorities." Drez gestured to his commander to take the majority of the company on toward the Bayan Research Station. Drez on the other hand would be talking to MNC authorities, giving them false information, intent on making them fall into some improvised trap. Several members of his fireteam began to slowly circle the general area as the company moved on. Planning an ambush if things went bad with the MNC. Drez, however, continued to wait with Javier. "Have you had any contact with any of Campos' guerrillas before?" Drez asked casually.

Guadalupadorian Embassy

Pavnoya slowly put down his M4 on to the ground. "Woah, slow down their cowboy. I'm no danger to you." He said to the Inyurstan MP, trying to defuse the situation. "Now, I want to ask you this right now: If my security force surrenders to you, can we safely leave the country?" Pavnoya said as softly as possible. "If you don't have orders to negotiate, I understand. But I need to know this now, so that we can evacuate this building before you fire upon it." Leo found it amusing that he was doing more negotiation techniques than the Ambassador was.

2 Km outside of San Javier

Pvt. Dores sat where he was left on the side of the road, feeling around his leg. Well, they did some good work with what they had, I'll give them that. Dores thought about how the Rangers fixed up his leg. With a pained grunt, he lifted himself up along the trunk of a nearby tree and picked up a stick to use as a makeshift cane. He began his long walk back towards San Javier. It was getting dark pretty quickly, as he neared the city, still burning from what had happened over the last few hours. Dores just shook his head as he continued to walk. The Army was nowhere to be found, nearly along with almost everyone else in the city. Entire streets were deserted as he walked in between burning Loyalist Positions, and burned out houses. So, the Inyurstan Rangers kill my fireteam, the Cuscatlanis bomb the hell out of the city. And then the Army gets up and leaves, this day just keeps getting better and better. Dores thought as he sat down in a metal chair outside a convenience store. He looked to his left to see a body of a Loyalist soldier, face down on the ground, with something peculiar in his pocket. Dores got up and rummaged through the dead man's pocket. A lighter and a pack of cigarettes, Dores fumbled back to his seat, and lit up one cigarette. Dores shook his head before putting the cigarette to his chapped lips and taking a smoke, observing what the battle had wrought.

"Nope. Well... At least not as guerrillas. As legal "government officials" when the bitch was still in power. They came and took our local friar from the mission, we haven't seen him since. Her thugs also enjoyed collecting "taxes" and "service fees" for coming around here and desecrating our religious structures and enforcing their price ceilings on our crops and livestock..." He said, somewhat believing the man was actually an MNC freedom fighter.

In the surrounding jungles men from the village were marching towards their neighbor and the guerrillas he had stumbled upon. Some came in rusty and beat-up trucks bumping and clanking down the muddy 'roads', while others came on the backs of horses or even donkeys and many simply walked through their well-known gametrails. Many were armed with simple single-shot hunting rifles, a few carried shotguns, two even had compound bows. Regardless, they were not well armed but they had a decent-sized number, maybe twenty or so, and were not going to let what they had heard were hostile guerrillas encroach on their village or hurt their neighbor.
The MNC on the other hand, was taking no chances. Police forces had contacted the Army; the reporting station chief and his deputies being sure their full names and ranks were mentioned - hoping to get in on the large sum of cash the Inyurstans were offering for information leading to the arrest or termination of the guerrillas involved with ambush on their convoy. The Chucharan Army knew the mortars had been meant for their convoy, and were loading up into jeeps and trucks preparing for the worst.
They would follow the police units to the general location of the report, and then move out and encircle the surrounding forest to prevent any loyalist holdouts from escaping.

Guarija

The MP, no higher than a Private First Class in rank, simply staring at the man.
"I do not have the authority to answer your question." he shouted, and picked up the megaphone before repeating his message again on the loudspeaker.
"All civilians are urged to evacuate the premise! All armed personnel may drop their weapons and surrender immediately. Your time for evacuation is running out!!!

More bleach-water continued to pour over the captured Cuscatlani terrorist. At some point the lead agent ordered the other two to stop, and they removed the cloth. One man then broke up a disc of chlorine, made for keeping outdoor pools clean. He then took the chalky, white fragments and stuffed one down each of the man's nose. Anyone who has ever had the dumb idea of smelling the pool cleaning material knows the burning and gagging sensation induced by the chemical, and now this guy was having it directly applied to his nostril sensory cells.
Just as soon as they had taken the soaked towel off, now reeking in the thick alkaline smell of bleach, they tossed it back on and kept the Inyurstan water-boarding going...

San Javier

The 240th Strike Group fanned out through San Javier in the darkness. So far, no sign of enemy contact was noticed. It appeared the bees had vacated their nests - for now.
However, as they moved through the deserted streets, Major Ruiz received word that the missiles which had just struck the airstrip at San Javier were fired from Asignist - now apparently hostile - positions in Haiti. Why they had hit San Javier which just this morning had been the heart of Campos's insurgency made little sense if they had also attacked MNC headquarters in Guarija. Still, the notion warranted caution to avoid well-known positions which could result in them being hit by future missile barrages.

Drez shook his head at how Campos lost her mind. "Good riddance that she's dead. Outlawing the church? Stealing money? Unbelievable..." Drez said to Javier. "Hopefully once this war is over the Church will return to its former glory." He heard a few noises coming from behind Javier, deeper in the forest. He shifted his gaze away from Javier to see what seemed to be a group of armed men moving into the area. With Drez's former experiences undercover, he kept his cool as he usually did in situations like this. "Are these your fellow villagers?" Drez asked with a smile. Meanwhile the company moved on, now clear of any trouble. Captain Lorca, El Oso's second-in-command trailed behind the guerrillas, hoping that Drez would return shortly.

Guadalupadorian Embassy

Leo shook his head at the MP's response, and pushed the call button on his radio. "They aren't negotiating. We're gonna have to surrender to them." There was an angry unintelligible response from the other end. "Well, I feel the same.... Right, well you're the Ambassador, why don't your get out here and talk to the MP? No? Well we're going to have to abide by their rules.... I know, but there's nothing I can do, without getting us all killed." Leo turned back to the MP, "I'll commence the evacuation, and have my men surrender their weapons." He looked to his left and saw that the undercover DIA agents Serpendo lead were still patrolling around the Embassy as other MNC soldiers had done for the past few weeks.

To Serpendo, it was time to evacuate the ambassador and the embassy. Serpendo walked over towards the Inyurstan MP, looking up and around the area. Snipers in the buildings? These Inyurstans don't fuck around. He thought before he and his team met the MP. "We have orders to take the civilians and detain them for the time being." Serpendo said to the MP in Spanish. He looked towards Pavnoya and raised his rifle at him. "Let's go, get a move on, Dorian Gringo!" he said in Spanish, and gesturing Leo out of the gate.

Cuscatlani forces striking the enemy from both air and sea

It was beginning. Storm was coming above Chucara, storm like no one of them seen before. Dark clouds were gathering for hours, preparing themselves for striking the enemy with the light of thunder. The attack was beginning, and soon the sky itself will become darkened by munitions fired by Cuscatlanis. Operation "El Caudillo's Wrath" which was launched in the birthday of Generalissimo López, man who liberated Cuscatlán from Spanish rule, would give enormous damage towards the evil forces which holed up in San Javier. And this operation will be carried with utter strength of whole Cuscatlani nation, with whole power of their armaments. Preparations were launched long ago, now they were returning.

Through the sea, a big shape was coming. It was old WWII battlecruiser "General Blachenet" alongside with "General Vargas". Two battlecruisers received extend modernisation; they gotten new generation ejectronics and modern missiles. They will never serve as navy vs navy ship; they will not withstand direct confrontation with another navy for sure. Their goal was rather to provide shore bombardment capability until "General López" class battlecruisers built especially for this purpose were complete. First four ships of this class were almost ready, but Cuscatlanis decided that this was time to test this doctrine in practice. Now they were coming in two groups, each having escort.

"Fire Control, TAO:" said one of captains, old man who seen many battles. He looked as alert begin to ring on whole ship "Prepare to fire, over!"

"TAO, Fire Control" said fire control operator on one of battlecruisers "All systems prepared, ready to fire on order, over!"

The captain smiled. The death clock was slowly ticking for Cuidad Christos. Cuscatlanis planned to hit it with such number of munitions that not a stone over stone will stand.

"Fire Contro, TAO, attack following targets, coordinates:" captain begun to list the targets "Time to launch T minus six five seconds"
Everything was prepared. It has begun.

It has begun. Engines roared from land based RK-55 missiles which had 3000km range. Since SEAD missions were successful, Chucarans had no chance to defend against incoming storm. Missiles guided by AXISAT constellation quickly dazed towards the targets in Chucara. The same happened with submarine launched missiles and air launched missiles.

It was all out attack, combined with massive Electronic Warfare attack on Chucaran networks. At least a dozen of AWACS aircraft over the Atlantic ocean begun jamming and disrupting Chucaran radar and communication networks. Massive hacking attack was launched also, seeking to gain control over whatever was left in the internet. Roughly over 200 missiles were launched. Major targets were:

Chucara North:
[*] Loyalist HQ
[*] Loyalist bases north and southwest of Cuidad Cristos
[*] Cuidad Christos railway network hubs
[*] Cuidad Christos power plant
[*] Cuidad Christos's water supply centre

Knowing that Loyalists had no chance to stop the cruise missiles, they begun to attack at night. Message was simple. It was simple terror tactic used by Cuscatlani military a lot. Goal of this psychological operation was to make ordinary citizen's life so annoying that he will have to join. And also, to prove that Loyalists are incapable of defending them. To prove it, whole infrastructure was targeted, to ensure that people will have problems through lack of water, electricity and gas.

The pacification unit for the portest have arrived. It was MNC Police battalion, equipped with newest riot control gear. They were slowly marching towards them when St. Alexander's battalion withdrew. Russians did not wanted to massacre anybody. They came however towards different place; they returned to the capital.

Tear gas flew into the protest, batons at ready. Nobody however will be killed today. Only dispersed via force.

"Si. They are like my brothers" Javier said, as the villagers crept up and stood on the ridgeline overlooking Drez. They stood with their guns at their chests, a few of them raising their rifles and shotguns into the air.
Meanwhile, the local police was driving towards the site while MNC soldiers were dismounting and surrounding the position.

Guarija

The MP looked at the soldier with a puzzled face and then ducked his head into the humvee, and popped it back out a few seconds later.
"On who's authority? " he said, clearly having consulted with some superior in the vehicle.
"We have those exact same orders and our leadership was informed the Chucharan Army would keep their distance and remain compliant?" he said.
On the other side of the gate two MP's were waiting, and they both grabbed Leo and pressed him up against the wall and handcuffed him with durable plastic zip ties, and one man stepped in front of the gate and waved the others out.
Inside the humvee, the lieutenant in charge of the operation and working the radio contacted his superiors, inquiring them regarding the sudden change of MNC operational compliance.

The private-first-class MP ducked his head down into the humvee one more time when he heard a shout from his superior. He grabbed the megaphone and held it down as a lieutenant stepped out from the passenger-side door of the olive-green armored vehicle.
"Attention all embassy occupants. As you may or may not have heard, the situation has changed in your homeland. A recent deal struck between the Peresque and Triga administrations has secured your safe return to your homeland." Said the officer as he let the words sink in.
"Upon surrendering you will be escorted to the airport where you will board a plane back to Guadalupador without further confrontation."
As he issued the statement, the other Marine Corps MP's slowly lowered their weapons and stepped away from the embassy wall. Designated marksmen and a few light machine gunners still held their positions in windows and rooftops, but otherwise the soldiers were backing off.

"Wait, did you just say 'Trigra?'" Pavnoya asked the MP. The embassy staff looked at each other in confusion.

"You mean Saiko, right?" The Ambassador said, correcting the MP.

Serpendo looked at his watch, and looked around at the group of diplomats and security officers. This isn't right. He thought. The Inyurstans weren't going giving up the captives only a few minutes ago.

"Sir! We've got new orders from 'MNC' Command!" Arius, Serpendo's radioman said in Spanish as a cover for the actual notification. Serpendo went over to Arius and listened to the message.

"Alright! Let's go! We move out immediately!" Serpendo said to his Fireteam in Spanish, and led them away from the positions around the Embassy. "We've been recalled. Command says that our mission is over..." Serpendo switched to Dorian.

"Recalled? Have they seen what the hell's going on?" Eriev asked. "The MNC still has the capital."

"I don't know what's going on, but I don't like it either. We're heading back to the safehouse, we need to know what's going on back home." Serpendo said, walking down the street towards the safehouse.

Guarija

"Thats right, Triga. If you dont like it you can just go wait in that building for another hour or so and see if you like that solution instead." He said, aware that a GBU-24 Paveway III laser-guided bomb would be going through the roof of that building almost regardless of who or what was still inside. The young officer then realized the "MNC" soldiers were trying to bail almost as quickly as they had shown up.
"Hey. You're not going anywhere until I get a verification from MNC command of who the hell you are and what business you have in this operation strictly under the control of the 258th Military Police regiment." The LT shouted as a few MP's moved to block their retreat. Meanwhile a few Guarija PD officers on the other side of the "do not cross" line noticed the stand-off and placed their hands on their holsters, unsure of who to side with should shit hit the fan.
The fact that they had just-so-happened to find a reason to leave just as the news was breaking regarding the embassy occupants was only the whipped cream and cherry on top of the fact they had still refused to answer on who's command they were operating...

It's not French,it's not Spanish,it's Inyurstan
"Inyourfaceistan" refers to my player/user name, "Inyursta" is my IC name. NOT INYURSTAN. IF YOU CALL INYURSTA "INYURSTAN" THEN IT SHOWS THAT YOU CANT READ. Just refer to me as IYF or Stan.

Serpendo stopped walking. With a sigh, he turned back around and faced the MP. "Well, since Trigra's in power in Guadalupador, I guess we're on the same side now, trooper." Serpendo said in English. "We were sent in to extract the embassy staff at the beginning of the conflict. We hit a few snags when we came into contact with an MNC platoon guarding the embassy, we had to improvise." Serpendo resigned. "We're being recalled back to Guadalupador. Now if you please..." Serpendo continued walking down the street.
