The sound of gunfire roared through the air. Roskian Police were heavily armed. And dangerous. AT rounds soared over, attacking the tanks of the BRS. They had overwhelming numbers on their side, but the police were putting up a tough fight.

Soon, the advance of the Broken Russian States is followed by the attack of the other nations, and Roski is now fighting all of its independent states.

The advances were now reaching the Governmental Defencive Area, who had advanced to Turut, launching a major attack into the 4th largest city of Roski.

The Police were unprepared for the sheer numbers of the enemy, however the Roskian Government forces were well equiped to fight superior numbers.

The Roskian Air Force that supported the Government blasted at the air forces, but it was not enough. Too little. Too late.

The Police, now overrun, fell to the edge of the city... just as Government tanks rolled into Turut.

"Move, move" a Roskian soldier shouted as the tank blasted apart an enemy IFV.

The surprise of the attack pushed the enemy halfway across the city, the reinforcements arrived by the truckful.

Roskian Governmental forces clashed feriociously over the line, hoping to break the advance. But they knew they were outnumbered by enemies with similar equipment.

The fighting was intense, as the RVLS (Roskian Vassal Liberation States) advanced. The sudden reinforcements suprised them.

Fighters roared, as the Roskian Air Force was beaten back, and they fired on the Roskians in the street. The beautiful City of Turut was being ripped apart.


Civilians were quickly put into busses and armoured vehicles, and evactuated to behind the lines.

Thromright asked incredulously. "Nothing has been committed at this time." "Fine. Go ahead." "Roski's specifically requested the Air Force." General Vanessa Kimball piped up. "Specifically, a bombardment of Port Firn. Apparently, rebel aircraft are pinned down. I've also got a squad of tanks set to go in, along with a couple troops. Eating 'em out from the inside." "Just get it done." "Alright, sir."

"Drop wing, mark. Mark." The flight's wing tanks dropped into the sea. "Approaching target. Speed down, 300. ETA 10." "Copy. Prep pay load."
Below them, the Roskians were duking it out-however, governmental forces were winning. "Time to change this," Uptick One muttered. Hundreds of Roskian troops looked up at the sky as fighter jets came screaming down with no time to react. Howitzer formations went up in smoke. Machine guns ravaged troops formations. In the background, as the Roskian ground forces were preoccupied, RSVL aircraft lifted into the sky, on their way to the front. The flight peeled off of the scattering government troops and landed at the air base to refuel.

From the northeast came a dot. A flight of cargo planes, four of them, each ferrying 4 MBTs and 200 troops, was coming in for a landing. The MBTs and troops were to be used to invade Roski from the inside.

It had begun.

The Supreme Commander of the Hayabusan Royal Air Force was simply enjoying his night, attending a luxury party at the skyline of Rochester. He had no worries in his mind, and everything was going well. He had the view of the city, a nice glass of whiskey, and his best friends surrounding him, and he was happy.

Until a messenger walked up to him, finding him standing on the deck of the building, enjoying the view.

"Sir..."

"What is it?"

"The Roskian President has been told to be put on trial by the IFC Council for war crimes. Remember when we sent Admiral Heather and Admiral Travis to Qubec about 2 weeks ago? Yeah, reports have come in that the Roskian President threatened to use weapons of mass destruction against Qubec, which is against IFC policy. He has refused the trial, and now numerous nations are invading Roski, attempting to seize Russo and capture the false president."

"And if we're going in, I want to be the one to do it."

"Yes sir, here." He placed a tablet down on the table that was behind him. The Supreme Commander sat down. "It may seem stupid, but you are to conduct a military operation from where you are sitting now. This is an urgent matter. Do what you will."

The messenger bowed and left the room.

The Supreme Commander facepalmed. Twice. It was almost like Hayabusa always had to be a conflict, and the Court of Edenguard just couldn't help but nose around in other people's business. Nobody in the Hayabusan military got over 2 weeks break/release. But, what had to he done - had to he done.

He closed and locked the door to the deck, and put up a sign that said "IMPORTANT MATTERS BEING HANDLED" everyone knew what it meant. He issued an order to send out an air wing to Russo, and deploy SAS to capture or kill the President after that.

The 8th Wing, consisting of 25 Eurofighter Typhoons, 15 F-22 Raptors, 10 A-10 Warthogs, 1 B52 transport, and 5 B2 Spirit Stealth Bombers are to depart from Rochester Air Base and immediately make their way to the city of Russo, the capital of Roski. Your objective is to bomb and strafe government buildings, neutralize or weaken Roskian Government Military assets, and clear the way for Team 2. Team 2, you are to move into the Roskian capital building to either capture or kill the rogue president, or confirm the death of him due to airstrkikes carried out by the RAF.

He sent it, took a deep breath, and took a sip of his whiskey, and looked out at the view again.

Rochester Air Base

The base was buzzing with activity, with news going from airman to airman that the 8th Wing was headed for Russo. The men were excited, but also somewhat scared. They knew that the Russo air defenses were tight, and they would be hard to operate in. Hopefully the fact that they were trained for every possible scenario wouls come through and show in combat.

The 8th Wing took off in the night, flying above the skyline of the massive city that was below them. Hayabusan citizens looked up to see a lot of aircraft flying above them, and there was even an instance where a showboating A-10 pilot flew in between buildings. The Wing Commander, Alexander Harley, was confident in his squadron's ability to pull through and succeed in the mission. The wing would arrive just as sunrise struck the Roskian capital.

Unidentified planes were seen and heard flying in from the west. They were Hayabusan planes, en route to the government district. Surprisingly, they hadn't met much resistance just yet. 1 flak gun and a FIM-92 Stinger squad was all. That would change soon enough, as soon as they were identified as foreign and/or they were firing upon government buildings.

"Just like headquarters said." murmured the captain.
Turning and addressing the bridge, he said:
"As you know, the Roskian president has been falsely accused of war crimes. We need to help him re-establish his claim to Roski and prevent these foreign scum from taking power. Launching a pre-emptive strike on Port Firn is the beginning.I want all hands to battlestations and ready for combat."

As hundreds of missiles were launched, the first few fighters began to take off.

Despite many missiles being shot down and some missing entirely, a few managed to make it through, and they hit the city, lighting it up in flashes of orange and red. In the confusion, various fighters swooped down from the sky to finish the job as the ships began to bombard the shore in preparation of an assault on the beach.

The pilots recognized the Roskian stealth fighter signatures, as other pilots who operated in Qubec against the Roskian air force had provided pictures to the air wing which depicted what the signature looked like.

15 Typhoons swooped in from the side of the Roskian planes, firing their miniguns and launching missiles, and then continued further into the city. The other 10 came in from the front, using the same tactic, and continued on.

The A-10s began strafing and bombing Roskian anti air assets and government buildings, alongside the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers flying above everyone unleashed their wrath on the Roskian government buildings, making rubble of most of them, but leaving the capital building still standing.

The Typhoons also began firing their miniguns upon Roskian military convoys, armoured, and infantry units.

All of this combined would clear the way for the lone B-52 to deploy SAS Team 2 to capture the rogue president.

OOC: For the sake of story. I will use RL info/geology since there is a lack of information present about the area. Lets see how this develops.

International Waters, Off the Coast of Kamchatka Krai
Kamchatka Peninsula

It was a breezy night on the ocean, few clouds occupied the sky and it was predicted to be good weather for at least two weeks. It was always more stormy in this part of the world during winter; performing the invasion now gave plenty of time to establish the foothold regardless of bad weather conditions. Regardless of any weather or any hostile forces, this operation was in full swing.

Admiral Klaus Hertzog, a sturdy old man sat at the helm of the bridge of the INS Peters Ending. People talked about him as being an old fart or a "Senior Citizen Brigadier", a common nickname to older officers in the TECT Military; as a sixty-two year old man, he is one of the oldest naval officers in the Imperial Navy. The old fart was however as sharp as a surgeon's tool. His extraordinary experience in command can only be measured by the time he's been on this planet as a Commoner. As a Captain of a destroyer, he led his crew into combat against pirating vessels and against Cetian forces in Cornellia. As commander of his own carrier task force almost two decades ago, he commanded the air bombardment of Jatzi positions from sea. He once again commanded the bombardment of Jatzi positions during last year's spark of fighting. His style of warfare sparked many as "logically brutish" and skillfully equivalent to "Using a hammer to strike a nail into place with one blow." Fellow commanders would call him an old smelly fart and senile to joke and the Emperor would shake his hand and call him 'sir'; a telling of the prestige and respect he commanded as an officer in the TECT Imperial Navy. Here was Hertzog again leading an invasion; this time however, he would not be replaced with an incompetent brat that would erase his hard work.

The old grim faced admiral looked down and at his watch; his wrinkles and short beard got in the way a lot -- it got as itchy as a rash attached skunk, but he got too lazy to shave lately so he decided to stop giving a fuck and to let it grow out. His short grayish black hair and beard showed experience along with his age, years that had seen numerous conflicts and newer technology emerge. As he looked at his watch he broke out an odd cheerful grin. His grin was of oddity and excitement; no one usually knew what the old man thought of but that smile meant he was enjoying himself at least, though that could be a scary or cheerful thing if you thought about it enough -- it made him look almost twenty years younger in fact. The Admiral grinned because it was finally time to commence the first stage of the operation, 'Operation Victorious Brennende Licht (Burning Light)'. "Crew." the old man spoke up. "Commence 'Operation Victorious Brennende Licht'. Keep to the schedule, there are no changes presently." The ship's captain, Capt. Dennis Vogler, gave the order to prepare for a fleet wide missile bombardment. The operation's name comes from one of the numerous names of the Commoner god of victory, Sieg; the name fit well as the name implied a just and blinding light of pure fury that punishes all in its path, something the TECT Imperial Navy was about to do in the form of numerous missile strikes.

A brief loud siren ran out from ship and across the fleet on other ships, from ship to ship the warnings of a missile launch were going off. Lights flashed and deck crews were being ordered inside to avoid the noise and harm. "Okay. You can turn that shit off any time Captain." the old admiral spoke up, not bothering to challenge the loudness of the siren -- his tone commanded much more then then the noise ever could. "Yes sire." a random crew member acted quickly to turn off the siren and lights on the ship; the crew was well aware the Admiral was also Baron in TECT's Noble Class and often addressed him as such. "Much better. Now I can hear the firework show. Besides the AWACS and drones, this trip has been boring." the Admiral replied, bringing his wide cheerful smirk back. Without a second to lose, a blinding light flashed from somewhere along their right side; along with the sound of pure energy, exhaust and a bright light filled the sky.

To the right, the INS Victoria, was one of the latest of vessels acquired by the Imperial Navy. It was a guided-missile battlecruiser, essentially a battleship with missiles instead of cannons; it had so many missiles that it could possibly lay waste to an entire small country, not to mention its advanced electronics and hardware systems. Quite a useful tool on hand in naval warfare and invasion operations -- a ship capable of causing so much devastation at hand would be needed. The Admiral watched the first missile, a LY589B Hellion-II, roar out of the front VLS of the INS Victoria; as the light shinned off his face, the missile angled and shot toward the west, towards its target, while skimming the ocean. As if it were the signal flare, other missiles from the INS Victoria and adjacent ships began roaring into the sky and following the lead cruise missile heading west. It was as if being surrounded by floating firework platforms -- roaring noise, smoggy exhaust, and blinding lights surrounded the fleet as dozens of missiles launched. The Admiral had enjoyed the first round of fireworks and couldn't wait for the next several volleys of missile barrages throughout the night. If this round of fifty missiles could attest to tonight's phase of the invasion, then it was going to be a long and deafening night.

'Operation Victorious Brennende Licht' was the first stage of the invasion of the Kamchatka Peninsula. It commenced at twelve a.m. local time in the deepest part of the dark ocean far off coast before the fleet was within the land's commercial zone. The plan called for several hours of missile bombardments against targets spotted by military satellites, such as Damocles; these were namely military positions, bases, air fields, air strips, radar installations, armories, depots, government buildings/targets, ships docked, dockyards, power plants and power lines, fuel storage, supply depots, and various other military targets. Near the end of the first phase of the operation, F-29 strike flights would be launched into the airspace to contest its airspace and conduct further bombardment targeting/bombings of their own. The next step was continued cruise missile bombardments and an air campaign to destroy any enemy target. As the bombardment continued, marine forces will begin their landings in the south and north of the Kamchatka Peninsula assisted by air and naval support. Once the beachheads in the north and south are taken and secured, reinforcements will land to reorganize and commence the second phase of the Invasion, the ground invasion to secure the province. Further expansion to the plan will depend on the situation once the Kamchatka Peninsula is taken.

The whole invasion was a low and cowardly move on TECT's part. Abusing the civil war between Roskian states to invade the rebel fraction's fought over land and conquer it from them. Commanders didn't really care what it took to take land, especially the Royal Guards commanders; if given the chance, the Armada will take even more land then it plans to take now. If it meant being sneaky and stabbing someone in the back when they're fighting off one robber, then that meant TECT was the profitable second robber. The use of the elite 1st armada fleet and a heavily seasoned Royal Guard unit showed just how serious TECT was about taking this land. Abusing the civil war and already damaged infrastructure was a low move, but the Royal Guard always said in a situation like this that "All is fair in warfare, so make it unfair for the other bastard and advantageous for bastard number one, you."

The missiles that were determined to miss were left to explode. RVSL forces attacked the Roskian Army and AIr Force in Turut, overwhelming the opposition to the RVSL.

All Roskian Governmental Troops have fallen back to Kilib.

The Roskian Air Force relied on Stealth Fighters, mostly. The tracking signature was different, usually, than normal fighters.

THe Roskian Air Force moved to intercept the Haybusan planes.

Despite many missiles being shot down and some missing entirely, a few managed to make it through, and they hit the city, lighting it up in flashes of orange and red. In the confusion, various fighters swooped down from the sky to finish the job as the ships began to bombard the shore in preparation of an assault on the beach.

The fighting was intense, as the RVLS (Roskian Vassal Liberation States) advanced. The sudden reinforcements suprised them.

Fighters roared, as the Roskian Air Force was beaten back, and they fired on the Roskians in the street. The beautiful City of Turut was being ripped apart.


Civilians were quickly put into busses and armoured vehicles, and evactuated to behind the lines.
