It depends... some of these 'spread out territories' could be Saharan-like desert terrain.
True but those types of terrain are great barriers to an enemy force. Just keep the enemy stuck in the desert and watch them starve to death. However I'm sure one if the three giant plots won't have that problem. I mean the giant island one. All you need is subs, subs, subs. However that's the same for all island nations.
