The Social Attitude Test

Postby Valica » Fri Aug 29, 2014 8:05 am

http://slackhalla.org/~demise/test/socialattitude.php

This is a nice little test I found. It's a bit different than the four-square test we all use.
If you're up for it, post the results and following text here in a box so we can all judge each other.

Progressivism 87.5
Socialism 43.75
Tenderness 40.625

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist.
It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a balanced attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist.
Combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a sensible radical egalitarian with several strong convictions.

I'm completely obsessed with myself, and I love these sorts of tests.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear communist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a cultural marxist.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with an established worldview.

This pretty much jives, except for the "cultural marxist" bit. That's more of a right-wing dogwhistle than something a person would identify as.

I don't know about the libertarian part, per se, but everything else is close enough to being fairly factual.

I'm also more into a mixed-market type of economics as opposed to capitalism as we understand it today.

I'm surprised that they consider me to be a libertarian. I noted my support of public education and welfare.

But, the results were interesting, I suppose. Probably inaccurate, especially given the fact that they consider me a libertarian, but interesting nonetheless.

Judging by the responses so far:

Leftist = professor and journalist.
Ultra-asshole, mega-religious conservative = cop.

We should catalog what it takes to get all of their careers.
