News from the capital of Mala. Queen Sasha larek of Aydean only into her 3rd month of rule is already asking to leagally annex Mongolia. After a large earthquake hit most of the Burma region and is still recooperating from the war the queen has declared it a lost cause. More than 3 million refuges have been brought to the outer ring of the capital which has caused famine and poverty in the nation. Since Mongolia already has Aydeanian military outpost thanks to the expedition corp it is Aydeanian territory. All the queen ask for is Mongolia to give her people a chance for a good life.

**Sources claim Cydonia preparing for war**
Having a massively large army consisted mostly of elite top tier warrior soldiers and elite republican armoured brigades, Cydonia is a nation in the northern part of the Rome Republic in North America that is staying vigilant by starting to patrol the impregnable walls that border the country as seeing the war may not come to an end. The leadership of Cydonia gave a joint speech and all 13 members called for a resolution and peaceful end to the war this region has endured. The members all stated that if this war does not come to an end Cydonia will protect itself from this war with brutal and accurate force.
General Molon Labe gave his response and I quote:
"Since the beginning of time corrupt kings and priests have always wanted complete control over populaces. The Republic of Cydonia will not allow this war to subdue its free thinking people into a way of life that is not fit for civilized and cultured people. We will patrol our walls around this great republic and kill anyone who attempts to bring the war to our front door. Our armies mass is great consisting of over 600 million men and women, our advancements in technology and warfare has been advancing steadily since the founding of our republic and will only continue to rise with the help of the heavens. We remain vigilant, cocked and locked. This is Cydonia, freedom, liberty and justice for all."

URGENT INFORMATION

In the interest of national and international security, the Kingdom has built a pair of beacons onto a tall obelisk.
These can be lit in different colors, and used to communicate across long distances, as needed.

The majority of the messages sent by the Beacon are not urgent. Two are, however, relevant in all cases: (lower/upper)

• White/Violet: Orren, the capital of Leveat, has fallen.
• Bright Red/Violet: An enemy of the Kingdom has activated hyperweapons (such as nuclear missiles).

Today in Calibanus, across the Empire, citizens are rejoicing as Emperor Rowle II declared a public holiday, the first in over two decades. The holiday was declared in response to The Empire's admission into the World Assembly and also to celebrate its admission into the Confederacy of Allied States.

Citizens took the the streets across The Empire to celebrate a day to record in the history books as one to be remembered for the rest of time.

"The Kingdom is under political turmoil. The Levese Revolution for Democracy has seized control of much of the government, and even officially changed the flag! New reports come in by the second, but it looks as though the Revolution is going to take over the Kingdom! We go live to a statement from the enigmatic leader of this organization."

(A tall man in a blue suit stands before a crowd.)
"We will grant to the people the authority to control their own lives! To govern their own decisions! To rule the Kingdom!
Never again will you be subject to the will of a supreme person! You will be able to make laws and remove laws!"

(The scene changes back to the reporter, who is now standing by the spectacle.)
"We're not yet certain whether or not the Revolution is actually for democracy, or how it plans to go about it.
I caution everyone watching this to consi--" The reporter is cut off as a storm of Revolution supporters and members attack.
The reporter gets into the news van and drives away.

(The scene changes again, to the reporter in the news van.)
"I was saying, I caution everyone watching this to consider carefully before they choose to support the Revolution.
It's certainly going to change our government, and if--" The reporter is cut off again, as the news van turns on its side.
"What the... did they turn the van over?" A storm of supporters rushes in.

(Suddenly, the technical difficulties placard comes up for about 8 seconds. Then, the camera is restored.)
(The camera is now showing the studio, where an attack is in progress. Two people are using the console.)
"No, you have to do this, and then the--" The voice cuts out. For about ten seconds, there is no sound.
"--hear? Are we on? Are we on? Uh..." The other looks over some dials. "We're on! We're on the air!"

(The technical difficulties placard comes up, and the broadcast fades out.)

(camera cuts to a well dressed woman)

"Welcome to Empire News. Breaking News has just come in about a Revolution in the Kindom of Leveat. While details are scarce, reports are coming in about armed mobs seizing control of the Kindom's news network. The revolutionaries have released a statement to the Kindom's citizens however at this point it is difficult to get much more information.

(camera then cuts to a map of the Kindom of Leveat showing the areas that the Revolution now controls)

"Emperor Rowle has pledged aid to those affected by the revolution and released a statement.

(camera shows a tall man in a military uniform)

"today, a revolution has occurred in a neighbouring nation and while details are difficult to come by, I wish to extend an offer of aid to those displaced by the fighting. I also wish to highlight the Empire of Calibanus' neutrality in this matter. Although we will be following developments closely"

(camera cuts to the female reporter)

"Thankyou for tuning to Empire news, we'll bring more updates as this situation develops.

We are a peaceful revolution against the monarchial system and for democracy.

That may not seem so after considering our actions taken against the traditional Levese government.
We admit that we suppressed them, and in that respect we are indeed repentant.

However, we assure the Confederacy that we work tirelessly towards democracy in Leveat.

Here is our basic plan towards our motives:

1. Repurpose the Levese Alcamoth to become the seat of democracy.
2. Create and elect a new Senate of Leveat.
3. Delegate all authority to the Senate and disband.

Until the Senate is activated, Leveat will be ruled by the Interrim Levese Committee.

Our actions against the Kingdom's government were mainly against the various police forces and public communications systems.
These were taken, respectively, to prevent unfair resistance and the spread of bad will. We hope you consider them justifiable.

Breaking news!

What started as an unannounced 'diplomatic' visit by the leader of Aslom quickly became a terrorist situation against Levian senate votes in Klenira. When the foreign dictator pulled a gun on the voting, security guards were called in and failed to remove the threat. The alarm was pulled and the Klenira police called, but just as the citizens began evacuation, the dictator fled via a helicopter hidden behind a cloud.

AkAr Cydonia rallied their armies and prepared to defend Leveat in the event of a full-blown attack. Calibanus, a longstanding informal ally of Leveat, provided medical supplies and weaponry. Meanwhile, Cydonia conducted intelligence reviews against Aslom and discovered they possessed several biological weapons, capable of destroying a small nation in a month. Leveat raised alarm EV as Aslom threatened the integrity of Calibanus as well, reportedly stating "I will watch you."

Aslom quickly claimed the reports were simply a test. Skeptical, Leveat and Calibanus requested confirmation, with Calibanus going so far as to condemn the actions of Aslom. Aslom called upon NEO Rome Republic, who had not been known to participate in the events, to confirm it was a test. Cydonia remained at the ready while Leveat lowered to alert OK.

**Recent news from Cydonia**

There has been a glorious decision by the high council of the confederacy, our great republic has been accepted into the lower council of the region. The decision was made by all 4 seats of the high council whom saw it in the best interests of the confederacy to allow Cydonia to join, the nation of Calibanus was also made a member of the lower council that same day, general Molon Labe congratulated Calibanus on taking the second seat in the lower council.
Reports of massive gatherings are coming in with people singing the national anthem, waving Cydonian flags and holding festivals over the weekend.

In what seemed like a plot straight from an intense million dollar action movie, Cydonia had been tested by the dictatorship of Aslom whom holds the ambassador position for the region for the seat in the lower council. Cydonian secret agents infiltrated the dictatorship after threats had been made against the Leveat nation. Intelligence reports claiming that the nation of Aslom had biological weapons had already been gathered by Cydonian intelligence agencies prior to the dictatorship being infiltrated but Cydonian agents had to get the dictatorship to confirm this. After intelligence reports had been given to the region the NEO Rome Republic and the dictatorship of Aslom had given the truth to the whole matter and gave statements saying this whole weapons fiasco was a test to see if Cydonia had the best interests of the region in its mind if we were to have a seat in the lower council.

In response to the nation being accepted into the lower council Cydonia has again been producing the robot military soldier for export this time. Designed by general Molon Labe himself,these magnificent feats of engineering and science are being sold to nations of this region for pennies on the dollar.
Weighting just under 1000lbs and made from titanium and hardened steel they can be equipped with any type of small arms weapons and heavy weapons, these soldiers also have an exoskeleton that can lift roughly 5000lbs, a neural interface that can distinguish between friend and foe and give assistance to whomever is in danger, they have a maximum running speed between 15-20mph and can only take commands from humans, they have not been given full consciousness. These robots are being produced and already have a price tag at around 10-20 thousand dollars each, nations of the confederacy are encouraged to come into our nation under supervision to see these machines being built and how they interact with men, women and children of Cydonia. The arms manufacturing plant Atlas Arms has already stated that they're taking orders from all corners of the confederacy and giving package deals to repeat customers.

Cries and yells of happiness flood the Capital of the recently formed Federal Republic of New Mirror today after the old tribal government was dissolved peacefully. The new country spans across a large amount of Europe and Asia, possibly making it one of the largest nations on the supercontinent. However, it's claims on the lands put it on borders with Aydean as well as the islands of Resdayn, who have yet to recognize the new republic. Only time will tell if this formation will be recognized.

The recent 2nd Socratic Seminar has decided to accept The Confederacy of Allied States as their official Region. Also set restrictions within the abilities of local merchants, trade regulations. Brought up by a private company owner, he sought to have a larger emphasis on education. Resulting in a unanimous decision to increase spending on education, requiring literate citizens, and requirement of knowledge of Continental happenings in order to produce a strong country.

Breaking news from the pious and most holy Theocracy of Octavan

State controlled media today announced the official move of our great country to the CAS region. Reports indicate the populace immediately erupted into joyous celebration at the move with civilians praising Octavo the Wise for his choice in guiding our young nation.

The people of Octavan look forward to educating the heathen peoples of CAS in the one true religion and are already preparing missionary projects to spread the faith to our friends and neighbours in the glorious Confederacy.

In local news, emissions swamp gas have forced the military to step in and quarantine about 25 000 civilians in the southern region of Octavan for their own safety. Reports of unrest and protests against the government in the area are completely false and unfounded.

In what the High Senator viewed as 'a disgusting insult to our nation's sovereignty', both Cydonia and Port Charlotte angered the government of Leveat by issuing statements affixed with seals of their governments. The High Senator promptly sent orders to the Minor Services Agency to commission a government emblem that was adaptable to all of Leveat's various governmental departments, agencies, councils, and commissions, and this was the prompt result.

Various artists reviewed the logo and found it variously 'proud', 'boastful', 'naïve', 'seductive', 'conductive', 'awe-inspiring', and 'ugly'.

I write this amidst bombs and bullets today as the Federal Army combats a revolutionary independence group here in the Capital of the newly occupied Finland Oblast today. The group wishes to take over the Finnish parliament and restore order to the country. However, the Popular Liberation Front of Finland (PLAF) has been noted for their brutal suppression of information and total dictatorial control over the nation in the past years.

Citizens rejoiced as a unit of Flamemen razed down an outskirts HQ of the PLAF. One has to wonder, however, are we helping the people of this beautiful nation...or are we making it worse?

Having established ourselves in the region and with our naval bases either complete or nearing completion, The Theocracy of Octavan announces its intention to begin trade in the Mediterranean.

Incredible news has come out from Aydean that could change the outcome of political events to come. The kingdom has now been reconfigured into an empire. Yes the kingdom which has existed for 200 years has grown to large and full of separate peoples. Because of this the royal family has been given absolute power over the empire as the multiple people of Aydean will now be represented by their elected governer.
