The Space Elevator is fully functional. A Spaceport is being built at the top. (the construction doesn't inhibit trade.)
However, Earth is in utter chaos. No real trading may take place now...

Current Instructions:
In their first IC post, Colonist should describe the events of the first 2 turns (weeks)
Turn 1: All shuttles start from the earth Sector. In their first turn, the shuttles Will move trough the wormhole. Into the New World Space Sector.
Turn 2: Shuttles may land at a location of the director's choice. Upon landing, you will receive some information about the sector where you landed. You may choose to deploy your colony center there, or move to another area.
Important! Only one colony may be deployed in one Land sector so first come first served... unless you take the colony by force.
Also, Specify Which sector you want to take. For moons there is Eastern And Western Sectors, for the hellish chunk of land There are 4 sectors:
NE, NW,SE, SW and for the Disc... Imagine it as a clock! ("the sector at 10 o clock" - For instance).
You can also tell me if you want a specific color on the map, otherwise I'll color you after your flag.

Disk
- Friendly Atmosphere with high O2 concentration, no toxic gases.
- Enough humidity for farming
- 5-25 C°temperatures
- Unkown Flora and Fauna
- No Volcanic Activity

1st (green) moon, Closest to the disk.
- Friendly Atmosphere with high O2 concentration, concentration of toxic gases below critical level.
- Very humid, Exceptional for farming
- 5-45 C°temperatures
- Unkown Flora and Fauna
- No Volcanic Activity

2nd (Purple) moon, Medium distance from the disk and the nebula.
- Friendly Atmosphere with high O2 concentration, concentration of toxic gases below critical level.
- Low humidity, still good for farming.
- -65 - 0 C° surface temperatures
- Unkown Flora and Fauna
- No Volcanic Activity
- above average levels of Radioactivity

3rd (red) moon, Medium distance from the disk and the nebula.
- Unfriendly Atmosphere with low O2 concentration while concentration of toxic gases above critical level. Not breathable for very long.
- Dry. Unsuitable for farming.
- -15 - +15 C° surface temperatures
- Unkown Flora and Fauna
- Medium Volcanic Activity in Eastern and Western Sectors

Volcanic Landmass. Long distance from the disk and the nebula.
- Very Unfriendly Atmosphere with no O2, thick with toxic gases and dust. Do not inhale!
- Dry. Unsuitable for farming.
- -20 - +395 C° surface temperatures
- No Flora or Fauna

International Lunar Colony:
(T1)
The Director was busy assembling the first candidates and supplies for the NAAFTA mission into the new sector. By order of the rulers, and due to the Director's wishes, the first colonists would be those with military training and who spent time on the Moon. This experience would no doubt be needed in this new world. The goal of the colony would be simple at first. The wealthy of NAAFTA where wary of Robert Kerman, who lost millions on Mars and the Asteroid belt. However he ws the only man with the knowledge and guys to lead the expedition. Fueled up from the nation's lunar facility at the International Colony the shuttle was filled in orbit of the moon. After everything was in order the order was given for the injection burn into the anomaly.
(T2)

One week in the expedition's excitement was beginning to become a reality for those on the mission. After travailing through the anomaly the mission was to decide which planet to settle first. Director Kerman spent most of his time in his office pouring over the early scans of the system, trying to find a world that would be sustainable for the colony. There was little that they could use. However to them the choice was obvious. The group would land on the volcanic body, seeming as it would be a good place for rich mineral deposits. Or at least this was the idea. After several weeks of travel in cramped quarters the colonists and their leader prepared for the daring task of landing on this strange new world.

As the shuttle arrives in the new world, The small nuclear Reactor packed into the Colony Center module goes offline. It turns out that Professor Zoratov of MIT was right after all. The difference in the physics of law are more complex than thought. Luckily, The colony center has other sources of power. Solar panels can absorb light coming from the nebulas and collect energy to keep the colony's Life support systems operational and the auxilary fuel cell will allow the colony to operate at full capacity for 10 more weeks.

(T2)
The Sector in which the Shuttle landed seems to be teeming with... Gold.
There is also enough lava around for Lava Refining. A Technique developed in Iceland.

T 1

In the office of the grounded RFS Moscow

Jaroslav had been chosen for a very special task he was going to bring mother Russia into the unknown. he had been given a ship with 1000 colonists all were trained for different duties some were military veterans some were lunar miners then there were doctors farmers and every other job you could need on this mission.
Hours later standing on the bridge of RFS Moscow they were just about to enter the wormhole looking out from the viewports you could see several ships going in too all came from the superpowers of earth.
Jaroslav "brace for entry into the wormhole taking a shot of vodka the new colonial governor shouted ENTRY ON MY MARK… MARK!" time slowed as the starship entered the wormhole and slowly time started to speed up again and they were through Jaroslav I want a situation report asap Communications officer I want you to switch radio signals and see if you can pick any extraterrestrial radio chatter, I want sensor sweeps around the clock i dont want anyone sneaking up on us, also find me candidates of planetary bodies suitable for colonizing I will be in my office writing a report for command.

T 2

sometime later an officer arrived with the candidates Jaroslav had requested it seemed to be several planetary bodies and a large flat oval body that showed sign supporting life there were also a jungle world, an ice world, a volcanic world and some others, Jaroslav looked over the statistics closely and he found the ice planet most interesting the Governor liked the cold it reminded him of Russia and of Siberia his old home his mind was made up he had to take the ice planet for his motherland and so he would.
A week later they arrived at the ice planet and they entered the atmosphere their plan was to make a safe landing near an inland frozen lake approximately one mile from the landing zone lay mountains and a good location for early mining operations.

OOC: i wasn't sure what kind of locations there were to colonize but from looking at the map i could only guess hope you dont mind.

T1

Vean looked at the shuttle on the moon as they quickly fueled it. It was a gas guzzling machine that could get out of the Earth's Atmosphere. "Sir the shuttle is ready" said one of the colonists to him. "Good now load aboard" Vean replied while going over to grab a box of supplies to load up.

1 Hour later

The shuttle flew through space quickly to the wormhole and before they knew it they had arrived in the new area of space filled with mystery. Vean commanded one of the pilots "Head over to the Green moon to check it out, if it proves good for Agricultural purposes we'll settle there.

T2

The shuttle went into the Moon's atmosphere after a long while of travelling. "Crap the shuttle is coming down too fast!" one of the pilots yelled while turning the throttle up until they were going down at a safe speed. Vean looked at the probe reports and read them aloud to himself "Good humidity for farming, no toxic gases at critical levels, good if a quite a bit hot temperatures, and unknown Flora and Fauna sadly". The shuttle landed onto the surface. "Okay everyone" Vean commanded "Setup the colony site".

T1: During a quick sweep of the Frequency range, the Comms officer found something interesting. A medium frequency AM Signal. It was too complex to be background radiation. He Immediately started recording it, but the signal disappeared after a few seconds. He searched for the signal and soon he found it in another frequency... But then it disappeared again...

T2: It became quickly obvious the this Icy Planet's crust is thick with large pockets of Rare Metals. Promethium, Scandium, Dysprosium - just to name a few - Formed enormous mountains in the distance. Of course, there was plenty of Common Metals aswell according to the prospector's report... and there were some bad news aswell. Radiation levels are high In some areas, especially around the mountains of Copper and Promethum.

Jungle Moon

The colonists had landed on the jungle moon, and were beginning to set up their colony. The ship had landed in a clearing, but if any substantial structures were to be constructed, there would have to be a major deforestation effort. The ground was fertile and well watered, but it was completely covers in ferns an shaded by trees hundreds of metres high. One would be able to walk for many miles through the canopy, the branches were so thick. And this was exactly what a few species of fauna did on this planet. They would spend their time up in the trees, eating the fruits and berries that grew on the branches they lived between. But, due to the high humidity in this place, the weather could change quickly. This was evident by the mostly clear skies, but a large group of storm clouds were beginning to come over the mountains to the East. The wind speeds in the atmosphere were high, and the colonist would soon have to prepare for a thunder storm. The clouds moved quickly, like a night that covered the sky, the clouds were so thick they blocked out most light.

The winds got to the ship first. The howling winds that bent the trees over - the thin ones at least - and could rip plants out of the ground. The rain was next - there was no warning, not any sort of light trickle at first, it was just suddenly coming down in bucketfuls. Within minutes the ground was saturated, and large puddles began to form. It was alright in the actual jungle, because the roots of the trees and plants would hold the ground together, but out here in this large gap, there was nothing holding it down. Soon, the ground was like a marshland, and the colonists would have to spend the night in their ship. Construction was near impossible in these conditions, and the colonists would have to spend the night in their ship.

Lavamass, Unexplored Space Region

As the colonists from the NAAFTA began to set down on the rocky and barren surface of the richly volcanic world, their sensors indicated many other things than mere gold. Though the heavy element was much in evidence at only a moderate depth, as displayed by shimmering outcroppings of the yellow metal that broke the deep rich brown and black substrata of the odd geological formation that drifted between the stars, that was not all. Shifting pockets of magma below the surface and an unstable subsoil layer of loose gravel mixed with solid basalt meant most of the basin and indeed the entire planet was largely volatile. What appeared to the casual observer to be solid crustal layers of the world were, in fact, more like rafts of amalgamated stone riding upon the deeper currents of the volcanic tide. As the gravity well of the moon rotated about the central orb in the high rotation system the variation in force vectors caused the sheer mass of the igneous morass to shift like the tides of the Earth so far away, and the crusts could move with it quite vociferously. Toxic gasses would occasionally upwell from the deep core and cause catastrophic eruptions, and volcanic convulsions were the norm rather than a rarity. But in all of this the mineral wealth of the satellite was almost unmatched throughout the rest of the system; as the ancient adage goes, with great risk comes great reward.

NAAFTA Colony: Newly Named Tartarus

"What do you mean it is moving? Of course the mantle moves under the crust!" a geologist, hired to find the rich minerals of the new world, laughed. The other crew member seemed anxious about his observation. "Look! On a regular basis we detect the magma under our feet moving! At the time when the pocket is the largest any holes in the crust swell up with lava. Then it flows back! I mean we have been here for a week and the past few days i've done this!" The miner shoved forward a table, crudely made, indicating the times in which the crust swelled.
"Hm... Interesting. It could just be magma moving regularly. However i will check this with the pilot. Since you seem bright today what do you suggest i tell the Director? Stop operations!? Hark!" The geologist laughed again. Get back to work!"
(T3)

The colonists unpacked their shuttle, setting up their habitation modules and discovering they would run out of power. The first week was the entire group working to unpack, and the geologists scouting around for resources.
(T4)

The six hundred colonists who where brought over to mine and the dirty work would have it rough the first week. Every colonist was ordered to help mine the planet to turn a quick profit to make the colony look good. They were ordered to take drills and picks to the veins of gold close to their habitat. Wearing spacesuits and under high precautions by the Director they would slowly begin to eek out a living. Slowly they consolidated their first amount of Gold, which over a small party was celebrated. This would be loaded onto the shuttles to be shipped home as a sign of progress. But time was slim. Everyone knew the power would be gone in ten weeks, and a round trip from the Earth and Tartarus was about five weeks. They would have to work fast to get power.

Lunar Colony

(T1, I guess)

Director Ross was making the final preparations for the launch into the vast unknown of space. Citizens of the EU clamored into the shuttle, taking luggage and other essentials with them. Charles looked out the window and saw that it was going to be a very long time before they would find somewhere suitable for the colonists to live in.

30 minutes later

The shuttle took off and headed towards a wormhole, went through, and arrived in a star system with a lot of moons and disks. The Director looked at the moons and figured the icy planet would be best for finding rare materials. "Head towards the purple moon! We shall land there!"

T2

The shuttle landed safely in the surface of the icy planet.

T3

Vean lifted a box of building materials for the colony center up and dropped it on a table near the construction site. The probes that were sent contained data saying Uranium was on this site. While not a good thing for health it was valuable and they needed more supplies from earth and energy to keep the colony center running. In 10 weeks after the center was set up their energy would run out and they would need to ration it. But for now they needed to get the center up.

T4

Finally the colony center had been put up and people have been a lot happier then before. Vean then proceeded to order every colonist to mine the Uranium out of the ground carefully in suits. This uranium was dangerous but extremely profitable and necessary for new modules and resources to come in from Earth.

The Japanese Cosmonauts paraded to the Spaceship. They were highly trained, and were some of the best of the Technocracy in their fields: Robotics, Military Intelligence, Mining, Farming, a Construction, etc. Or so Hirkashi was told. But while walking behind them, he realized he hadn't exactly been givien the cream of the crop. They definitely looked- and acted like- Minor Ranch Owners, Greedy Mine Owners, Incompetent Military men, and Broke toy makers. Still, it was better then nothing. At least they knew how to do their jobs, to a point. Still, he had a right to be worried. The reason for this was most likely that the Technocracy didn't wants their best to die, in case the Spaceship blew up. It was a safe move, but not quite a good one. All this he pondered as they gathered in the Ship. He sat at his seat, and waited to be propelled into Space. Then he fell asleep.

(T2)
"SIR!"
Hirkashi barely took notice.
"SIR! WAKE UP! NOW!"
He snapped to attention. "Ugh, I was asleep for too long. What is the situation."
The crewman looked at him. "We were banged up pretty badly by an Asteroid. Nobody died, but we have to crash land here, in the East, instead of the North, as intended."
Hirkashi mumbled a few Japanese curses. "Bring the other crewmen to safety, then land the ship as safely as possible. After landing, I want an immediate Evacuation of Colonists and Crew Members alike, got it?" The Crewman nodded and saluted. "May God be with you sir. Don't die in here." Hirkashi sighed. He didn't particularly like Overeager Religious Zealots anytime, but here? NOW?! "Yeah, yeah. Get going." He got out of his seat and maintained the controls, while the Crewman rushed off.

Jaroslav was standing in his command center on the ground with a 2D holographic map of the surrounding countryside. From this position he could command his different work teams to do different tasks. So far everything was going according to plan when everyone in time would have a home they would have to make this colony a worthy venture for the Russian federation. Jaroslav picked up three reports one from the scouting party that were sent out to explore the surrounding area they report nothing of note only that the area was secure and building efforts could commence, second report were from the ships geologist from the ships scanners and earth samples collected by the scouts the geologist could conclude that the area was rich in rare materials this would make high command very happy mining efforts would commence in two weeks at best there were however bad news to the lower crust is full of deadly radiation this would have to be solved eventually when the colony gets some funds, the third and final report came a bit late since it had to be confirmed 10 times until it finally got approved and was sent up to Jaroslav. when exiting the wormhole the communications officer picked up an unknown Am radio signal Jaroslav talking to the communications officer " I want you to do everything you can to decode translate trace this signal to its origin understood? YES sir"

T 4

It’s week 3 on this moon and I’ve put the colonists to work our output per week should be roughly 2000 tones depending on our yield. I’m personally supervising the work of our mining efforts as at the end of the week we should have 2000 tons of rare materials two weeks after that the shuttle should have arrived at earth. I have ordered the shuttle to be prepared for departure in the near future.

OOC changes:
T3
Alien Radio signal investigated
Colony module installed
T4
2 units of rare materials being mined if everything goes according to plan

T3

A settlement was made along the coast of a small lake near where they originally landed. They heard strange radio signals coming from another place on the planet and were confused at it. "Johnson, I want you and your team of soldiers to find out what is making those signals." "Roger that sir, it will be done." They got in their gunships and flew to where they though the source of the signals were coming from.

T4

Workers were in their mines, trying to get rare materials to export back to Earth to try and help the governments still located in the planet. The shuttle would ferry the materials back to Earth then come back and get more materials to go back to Earth.

(T3)
Spacefall.
Hirkashi leaped back from the controls, only a second before the Ship crashed, and large chunks of Glass and Dirt went flying everywhere.

Then it all stopped. The colonists hurried out, as taught, and Hirkashi, like a true captain, was the last one on the ship. The ship caught Fire in the Control Room, a quickly extinguished fire, but a fire nonetheless. Once the fire was out, they hurried to the back of the ship to grab their resources and Possessions. Hirkashi, meanwhile, kept effective order among the colonists. Simply by glaring at them with his watchful eye, he wordlessly told colonists to hurry up. They began building house and energy and shop modules.

(T4)
Hirkashi paced back and forth in front of his colonists. In the course of a day, just barely finishing before Dark, they had just built their Colony Module. It was impressive indeed, but it didn't prepare them for whatever dangers laid ahead: Poisonous Flora, Hungry Fauna, Limited Supplies, and possibly infighting. Ah, well, they didn't need to know that. Hell, a few probably already knew. But most needed good news, to prevent from being overcome by these dangers. He now stopped pacing and turned to his Colonists.
"My fellow colonists, today was a day of Crisis- and opportunity. We lost our ship, but then, did any of you REALLY want to head back? We are now a Bastion of Civilization in an a Untamed world. We are a firm wall against the empty threats and Savageness of this world. We are the hope of all Japan. All eyes are on us, a Ruby in the sky. It is because of third that I proclaim this colony LASTWALL! FOR JAPAN!" He called out. He then walked off the stage. He heard the entire Audience cheering. It mattered little to him. Many would die, no worse off then before. But those who survived, like he planned to? They would come out very rich men. And in reality, what matters more then riches?

Week 1 - 4

An entire Month has passed since Humans have left earth for the new world. Miraculously, No lives have been lost so far and almost every colony has managed to extract thousands of tonnes of valuable minerals. However, Little progress has been made so far in exploring the environments of the Discworld, which made left many on earth disappointed. A group of Botanists and biologists now wish to embark on a journey trough the wormhole with their 1000 tonnes heave convoy of mobile laboratories. Sadly, their project went overbudget and they can't afford to pay for the trip...

All colonies now have 2 units of resources and 9 energy remaining. They may order The Shuttle to load the cargo during turn 5, takeoff during turn 6, warp trough the wormhole in turn 7 and unload at the elevator during turn 8... or spend one more turn mining and than deliver more cargo to earth by turn 9.

Its possible to start rationing energy at any time. This will prevent any mining from taking place but will also save energy for later...

EVENTS:

- A Large Comet crashes into the North-Western Sector of the volcanic landmass
- Little progress is made on finding the source of the complex signal by the Russians due to lack of proper research equipment.
- One of the decade's largest storms kills millions in Europe and destroys 7% of the continent's expensive renewable energy infrastructure.

Tartarus

"Lets go people!" shouted a commander who was signaling at workers. Men and woman moved to push their newly mined cargo into the space shuttle to take off back to Earth. It was vital for a power model to be bought. Around the base men where getting ready for another task. The first scientific expedition, to investigate the new "tides" as they were called and find an object that appeared to crash on the radar. The mission would be risky due to the terrian but maybe it was worth it.

(T5)
The shuttle was loaded up with two units of Gold and preped for take off. The entire crew was lifted by the sight of their work being sent home to show the others. It was a testament to their work. Two units of untrained scouts where mustered up and prepared for their journey through the closest thing to hell inhabited by any living man. Or at least they could be all walking dead. Still 500 men and woman where put to work mining.

*EDIT* Due to AP change: Shuttle takes off with 3 units of Gold
(T6)

The scouts move out, one to the southwestern part of Tartarus and the other to the northeast. While setting out they could see the shuttle taking off for their old home. This glimor of hope was short lived, and the crew set out through hell, the two units said their goodbyes and started their trek out. After watching the shuttle 500 colonists got to work.

*Edit* Due to AP change: Shuttle enters Earth Orbit

"Ok crew load the shuttle" the captain of the shuttle ordered to his men. The 2000 tons of Uranium would sell for about 24 billion credits on Earth which could speed up their development a lot. Suddenly Vean got a message from the EU minister saying that the EU colonies needed to pay 22 billion credits towards fixing renewable energy and the like. "This guy is insane thinking that we could pay that much after a couple weeks here!" Vean angrily said to himself "We barely got anything when we started here and they expect us to do this". Vean moved over to a message terminal and sent a message to all colonists to keep mining the Uranium very carefully with their suits on and everything.

Outskirts of Tendril Saarnabul, Ignis

High from the craggy obsidian slag mounds that marked the outcropping of the Nibelin Scar, Scitaris looked down towards the Ash Wastes of Saar, where the Changing of Ways had come to this plain of Ignis. Here, on Father Fire, with the graceful forebearance of Mother Time, the people of the Deep Heart were making a new home for themselves, the silver rivers flowing as dictated by the Architect. To the west stretched the Sea of Cerna, but from the welling of the fluid blood of the ancient home of the Changelings the Scar had been thrust up; and here the Praternum had brought their hands, to make all new for the coming of the Way. A resonant hum filled the mind of Scitaris, and he reveled in it for in the feathery tickle of thought lay the hopes and desires of his brothers. Linked they were, through the Dive, BelowSpace as the more learned sages termed it. In his hands Scitaris cradled a slugthrower of his own making, for the golams were frisky with the spreading of the mind-meld.

But something else was on his mind, and his eyes were fixed on the horizon. Dual orbs of swirling violet and emerald, the Changeling watched the tiny pinpricks of odd color crossing the Ash Wastes, slowly coming towards the spreading tree of silver that defined this region of the disc of Ignis. They were strange creatures, unlike anything the Speakers had seen before, and as such many of those who followed the teachings Techsinar kept a close watch on them.

NE Region of Ignis

As the scouts from the human colony made their way north and east, at first their journey was easy. This region was more solid than the other riding masses of igneous material, and less prone to the earthquakes and rockfalls, not to mention pyroclastic eruptions, that plagued the world. However, that did not necessarily mean it was safer, as the scouts soon discovered. As they were passing along a small ridgeline of ash and cinders, a few monstrous forms rose before them, as tall as two men. Their shapes were roughly humanoid, as if an earnest but entirely blockheaded potter had tried to make man but failed, and left wet clay behind with the faces of thinking beings pressed into features. Their eyes were fire, and their mouths like the doors of furnaces. With limbs as thick as the torsos of men they stepped towards the scouts.

The NE region's scouts detect the presence of surface gold deposits.
The SW region's scouts detect the presence of surface uranium deposits.

First Contact

(T5) The Tuskenish were natives of the Purple moon that the Humans craved the radioactive minerals inside the Ice caps the rodent Natives call home. The three-eye Natives were smaller then the Humans and settled in the caves and holes they dug and watched the disc-shaped world in the night with their multicolored vision that they saw the heat of the planet and the rainbows that came from the night when it show the astrological bodies that they called gods. The Tuskenish were nocturne creatures and lived in their own tribal packs with spears, bows, even stone swords and ice shields for there was no wood but they were creative and this allowed them to hunt the predators that would fight to the death.

For all their life, they lived in peace, without hindrance, that was until the coming of one night where a light came streaking down from the heavens, many of the Shamans who cast lots said that it was a sign of a great test and great doom, but then one night brought another, which some say that the gods of brought chaos and destruction among their planet known as Eyroks, or " God's Eye" in their tribal language and it was time to go explore the falling lights and to see what these lights do bring. After the lots were cast, it was picked of a team of explores to go to the Eastern section of Eyroks to search for the lights and see what they have brought on their land.

( Used 1 PP to explore the Eastern section of Eyroks( the Purple Moon with the Artic Wasteland))

The group of scouts moved slowly in the terrain, poking the ground make sure it was safe. Their progress was slow, and every once and a while the group stopped and took out their tools and ran tests on the soil. In their white suits and large backpacks, paired with several cars slowly trailing behind the group, it was no doubt a strange sight to see. They hoped to find valuables in the ground like their lucky landing position. However they kept up their strange ritual though the flat land.

NE Region of Ignis

This group of scouts, like the first, was slowly poking its way through the alien terrain when they got contact. They where happy that the land seemed stable and mineral rich, but this was totally uncalled for. The monsters seemed to be from hell itself. Radio chatter turned to shouts as the group retreated back to their cars. Drivers, in a panic, radioed their base telling them of their reports. However a few men and woman, in awe, stood there looking at the things. To them this was impossible. How could this happen? Life on such an inhospitable place. But alas there was no time for why, as it happened. One of the leading men, closest to the rock monsters approached. In his little white suit he paled in comparison to the life form in front of him. He slowly bounced up to the creature and put his visor up to see the animal in normal light. He stood there in awe, ignoring his comrades pleas to come back. There was no way for him to communicate because the astronauts didn't expect to be chatting to anyone outside the coms loop. So he just stood there, watching.

Outskirts of Tendril Saarnabul, Ignis

From a defile in the ground near the advancing creatures Scitaris stepped up over the ridge, confronting the strange beings. They seemed to be cloaked in large billowing coverings, a thing that the Changeling did not understand, but it was something to be investigated. With him came several dozen of the Techsins, those of his kant that were bonded by like thought. In their arms they bore slugthrowers, capable of hurling sharp obsidian shards heated to near volcanic temperature at great speed, but they did not train them on the odd walkers. Behind the creatures roved large growling beasts, slugs that seemed to crawl on the ground, unlike the segmented forms of the Exiliths that the Changelings preferred. He held up an arm, gleaming metallically in the red light of nearby lava vents and the yellow tinges of the glow of day, and spoke in Tonal, the language of all true beings.

"You will halt, dustwalkers, for you enter the dominion of the First Voice, Finnius Ameral." To either side of them from dark crevasses rose other soldiers of the Praternum, glistening silver creatures of essence, bright eyes glowing with supernatural light in their faces.

NE Region of Ignis

As the man stepped forward towards the golams, they made noises like grinding gravel, their eyes glowing more brightly as if internal fires had been stoked. With speed belying its size, one lunged forward, sweeping up the explorer in its massive arms. With a jerking motion betraying prodigious strength, the creature snapped his spine like a man snaps a twig, and cast him aside as broken chaff, lurching on towards the explorers. Its fellows followed it, stomping with heavy steps towards the explorers, though one stopped and seemed to grab the corpse, hauling it towards a nearby dark hole in the earth.

The group could hear the muffled sounds coming through their spacesuits as the sound waves vibrated particles. Everyone stopped chattering on the radio. They where shocked about meeting something impossible. The group stood there and stopped suddenly. They where taken by surprise. Some of the astronauts jumped back towards their EVA cars, while others stood still. Then one of the men held up his arm like he saw the creature do. Radio chatter resumed and the base was notified. However Liberty One was dealing with the chaos of the other first contact. The group was still, waiting. One of the astronauts made a dash for the EVA car. "Get the speakers up and the mic! Record this!" he shouted over the coms.

NE Region of Ignis

With his back broken just under his diaphragm the poor astronaut screamed in agony as he was pulled away. Blood quickly was filling his suit and was everywhere. As he screamed his helmet fogged up and he could no longer see. It was clear he wasn't going to live long. The rest of the group did have an interest in living however. They fled back to their EVA rovers and shouted over the radio that they where under some sort of attack. In the chaos a female astronaut fell off of a rover as it sped away. In several seconds the rest of the group was fleeing over the plains, back the way they came. However the woman was alone. She tried to get up again, but panicked and fell down, trying to desperately escape. When she turned around she could barely make out the figure of a monster in front of her. She gave up hope and screamed, waving her arms in front of her she tried to stop the thing from getting close. She screamed over the radio and other voices roared over the coms. She was in chaos.

Patrolling scouts in the village spotted a group of unknown beings who were walking towards the village. "Contact the Director about this! I'll get more scouts here!" The scout ran all the way to where the Director was located and panted for a minute. "Sir... we saw a group of people coming towards us. They're not human." "What?! I'm going over there right now." Charles walked right over and saw them in a pair of binoculars. "I... I can't believe it... Shout at them!"

"Oi! Who are you people heading towards us?" The scouts pointed their rifles at them just in case they tried anything.
