ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!!

-The Guardians Pledge, by Sir Anthony Locke, OBE

It is the Year 2010 A.T.B. The Holy Britannian Empire; a Hyper-expansionist Empire controls over 1/3 of the Earth's surface, from the Canadian Wilderness, to the Strait of Magellan, from the Cape of Good Hope to North Africa. The Britannian Empire fights for dominance in a Tripolar world, fighting a three-way cold war against the European Union, and the Chinese Federation.

Japan, a small Island nation, rich with underground deposits of Sakuradite, a substance that powers the Technological and Military advancement of all three powers find themselves increasingly isolated from the world, that all changed when the Britnian Empire, after nearly a year of Embargo by Japan, decided to strike.

The Second Pacific War, a conflict that would later spark into the Third World War was started by the Britannian Empire, on the Morning of August 10th, 2010, of the Calendar; Ascension Throne Britannia, the world watches as forces of the Britannian Empire invaded the Empire of Japan.

Threatened by Mutually Assured Destruction should Britannia completely takes over the Island nation, the EU and the CF forms a pact, offering Britannia an ultimatum: Withdraw, or face War. The Britannian response was short and simple "Nuts!"

It is now the year 2017 A.T.B. And the world... Is at War.

OOC: This is a Code Geass Character RP set in an Alternate CG timeline where The Britannian Invasion of Japan sparked a war between Britannia and the rest of the world, you are recommended to be in the know of Background Info, if you have watch the Anime, I request that you flush the plot down the toilet for now, as this RP will be very different (but not that different) from the Anime, or any other spin-offs. Writing ability is expected, and is a premium for the quality of this RP, should you be inexperienced, please state so in the RP example, in your Signup sheet.

The War in Japan is still ongoing, as Kyushu and Hokkaido is still being held by the Japanese after years of heavy resistance, and assistance by the EU and the CF.
Africa, and India is held by the Britannians, with only Egypt left in Africa. Persia and Pakistan is under joint-military administration by the Allied Forces, and is a major Strategic objective of the Britannians.
Siberia is mostly Britannian, but Europe is still being held by the Euros. South East Asia is completely Britannian, with the exception of Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Lelouch, and Nunnally was sent to China in order to ensure a trump card when the time comes for the Allies, they are being held against their will near the Xinjiang Region.
Australia is independent... apparently.

Tsuyoi Shinda looked at the Britannian troops crossing a field with his Binoculars. The 7 men with him followed close behind. Once the Britannians had reached the exact spot he had wanted them to go to, he sighed and yelled "Fire!", ducking out of his men's way. Today was the day they took back their land and avenged lost lives. Today was the day they would strike back.

A series of small blips on the tactical projection disappeared, signaling that squad 9 had successfully completed their ambush. Yang Xiaodan leaned down and focused on the projected map. She frowned. The japanese campaign was a mess. The E.U and Japanese forces had spent the last year mired in a web of logistical and command failures. The Britannian forces had no such trouble, and had been slowly advancing from their beachhead in Toyko.
Xiaodan stepped back from the projection table and turned to face the window. The E.U's new counter offensive plan wouldn't work. It depended too much on the current state of the Britannian forces. Too much hinged on the lack of Britannian reinforcements. But orders were orders, and if everything went right, she wouldn't have to put up with them anymore.
Xiaodan watched closely as their objective came into range. Fukuoka base, the Chinese Federation Military's headquarters in southern Japan.

Inchon, Korea, Chinese Federation
July 5th 2017 A.T.B.

"TAKE THIS!" Edward el Britannia cried, firing his UN gun at one of the Chinese Knightmare knock offs. Edward frowned at the explosion that followed, there was no ejector, the CF didn't put any sort of escape mechanism, disgusting. "C'mon Ed! You don't wanna miss the party do ya!" One of the Knights of the Rounds who were deployed to the Invasion; Gino Weinberg, shouted over the Comms, before unleashing a series of fiery of explosions from a wave of Gun-Rus. "YOU GOT IT GINO!" And just like that Edward el Britannia returned to the heat of the battle.

His true home, Pendragon be damned.

The village of Kosur consisted of a few lanes lined with grey, crumbling housing units. These four story units were built in the early 90s by the PC government. In the early 2000s, they were scheduled for replacement by more durable, and comfortable units. The war had changed all of that. Now pockmarked with bullet holes, some hit with artillery, leaving gaping wounds in the concrete. The residents of the village huddled in these hulks of homes, as the grey clad soldiers moved below. The Britannians were equally uneasy. At the head was the native guide. It was a miracle that he had survived service with the HBE for so long. Those native troops who weren't shot to bits from nowhere in particular, or blown apart by mines, were killed in their homes, their throats slit, or necklaced in a burning tyre. Three APCs formed the core of the patrol, led by a tank and two knightmares. The worst parts were always after the villages. The insurgents were locals, and wanted to keep their houses in one piece. No surprise that massacring villages, and burning others only made it worse. Of course," thought the young blond haired man in the lead "our COs don't seem to care, what with them not dying."

This time, the attack was from the rear. The Indians had stayed quiet as the patrol left the village, and trudged along the dirt track that led deeper into the bush. A massive blast at the front sent the Knightmare soaring up into the air, crashing down as a burning wreck. Seconds later, the distinctive fizzle and whz lit up the air, as two rockets slammed into the second, spraying shrapnel at the infantry screen. The Britannians hit the ground, while the APCs drove off the road. The Tank, meanwhile, began to traverse its turret, the gunner taking aim at the sparks in the distance. Luckily, the enemy wasn't too far. Unluckily, they weren't too far. Another rocket smashed against the rear, penetrating the thinner armor there, and disabling the engine. Back in the day, the traverse would still work manually. But that was long ago. The infantry clung to the dirt, as bullets whizzed above their heads, the RTO calling in support. A VTOL would be on its way, hopefully avoiding the autocannons and missiles scattered around the clumps of trees. In the distance, 400m away, or so, green clad men moved about. Occasionally, a few dropped in splotches of crimson, but so too did the men in grey. Half an hour later, two squad worked its way back to their APCs, the third leaning to its side, the wheels burst. And as suddenly as it started, the enemy fire stopped, the guerrillas melting into the earth. Five minutes later, the VTOL gunship surveyed the scene. It was a particularly bad loss, this one, but at least the wounded and weapons were secured.

The film came to an end, the projector's shut down darkening the room. In opposition to the previous film, depicting an ambush gone wrong (whose footage had been difficult enough to retrieve) this one lightened the mood of the Karen fighters seated on the floor. The lights of the room flickered on, causing all to flinch, as their eyes adjusted. In the back however, one man, in the markings of a Brigadier kept his eyes wide open. As the instructor at the head of the room began his talk, the officer stepped out. Nothing game him such joy, as seeing the fruits of his labor in action.

Tokyo Settlement, Military Sector 1B, Several blocks from Britannian prison camp

Heavy breathing echoed through the alleyway as Prisoner 627 bolted down the alley, shedding remnants of his uniform down to the T-shirt underneath it all. His uniform lay in tatters behind him, carrying the flag of the Russian Federation, EU member state, as well as the crest of the Russian State Army. The sounds of gunfire rang out behind him as the Prison camp was liberated by elements of the Japanese Resistance, with the Britannain garrison trying to hold them off. They'd be deploying their Sutherlands soon, and Yuri Romanov was determined to escape before that happened. He heard the rush of a gunship's jet engines as it roared over, and knew if he was spotted, it was over.

He continued his trek until he made it to the edge of the ghetto, where the Japanese were resigned to living, almost indifferent from the prison camp he'd just left.

With his non-descript T-shirt, and his black pants, he wouldn't stand out too much from the local riff-raff, and all he really needed to do was to make it to the Russian Consulate in the city, if it hadn't been evacuated when the war started. It was now an abandoned hulk of building in a Britannian controlled sector.

All he could really do now was lay low . . .

Yuri found a small cubby in an alley in which to sleep, which was common among the 11's, and reflected. His unit had been surrounded in the Middle East as they fought against a Britannian advance, and ended up surrounded by their Knightmares. With no other choice, the unit surrendered and was sent to the newly conquered Tokyo Settlement.

Of course, that all had changed with the night's fresh attack.

Siberian Front
EU Regional Headquarters

Alisa Ignatkovich was freezing her ass off. It didn't matter if this was the same nation she grew up in, cold was cold. The only positive reinforcement that gave her some comfort was that the Britannians were just as cold if not more so. The woman stood outside of the supply dump as her Knightmare was currently being refitted for the cold conditions of Siberia. The last battle that Alisa had engaged in was during the African Campaign. The scorching desert and the bloodied sand was a reminder that the Britannians wouldn't stop until they had complete victory. The lives it would take were mere statistics to Emperor Charles.

"Ma'am, your Knightmare has been refit for the arctic conditions. If you want to take it out for a test run you'll notice that it moves much more smoothly now," explained one of the engineers.

"I think that I'll do that later. I'm waiting on someone," Alisa explained. The engineer merely nodded and returned to working on one of the other Knightmares. The next one appeared to be missing its cockpit and was full of bullet holes. No doubt the pilot had ejected, or was ripped from his own knightmare.

"They did do a good job," thought Alisa to herself. The normally crimson secondary colors were now replaced with white. The Knightmare still retained grey specs, but was mainly decorated in a snowy pattern. Appolinaris would serve well in the coming battles.

A Japanese Lieutenant, followed by two Japanese resistance fighters, ran past the cubby. He saw Yuri and yelled out "Hang in there! Cover us!", tossing him a Pistol. One of the Resistance Fighters was then shot down by enemy gunfire, and the Lieutenant and the other Fighter ducked down, firing their guns.

Oranmiyan Palatial Gardens
Lagos, Britannian West Africa
The Holy Britannian Empire

Tomes from the libraries of Oyo told that the Edo people had called their rulers the Kings of the Skies. Despite this pretentious title, the princes had settled for meager territories in southern Nigeria, the locus of the Empire of Benin. None-withstanding this vulgar truth, it was not difficult to understand why so grandiose a name had been worn, especially in these lands. From the gold-plated saber of a horizon in the distance to the pristine aura of the creeping moon that lurched up as evening grew nearer arose an azure plain so resplendent that it could hold the gaze of those who had set foot in even the most opulent of palaces, undiminished by swirling clouds clinging to the vault like phantasmal cobwebs. This was what excited her most about Africa, that impeccable sky, a sapphire more vibrant and engrossing than any in Pendragon. It tasted of honeyed wines, stolen kisses, and, most of all, freedom.

Alyse la Britannia, the Twelfth Princess of the Empire, was reclining in cushioned chair, peering upwards as she recited lines scrawled on parchment by Abu Nuwas centuries ago, drinking in the sights of the garden. To the Muslim elites, paradisaical gardens divided into quarters by sparkling streams had become earthly representations of the distant afterlife that awaited those among them who sought virtue and despised wickedness. It was a silly superstition, but, all the same, Alyse could appreciate the profundity of this vision, a vision which her court architect had made so intricately real, so sensually enthralling. The princess wasn't perturbed by the fact that most of her immediate subjects were Christian, nor that gardens of this sort were altogether foreign to Nigeria. What appealed to her was the aesthetic. She was not known for her aversion to the eclectic.

In fact, despite her stalwart agnosticism, Alyse had an unusual habit of collecting crosses, wearing a new one each day to compliment her dresses and gowns. She had also amassed a frightening number of Davidic stars, though she adorned these with less regularity. Such flexibility had earned her the confidence of the devout, while not overly offending the unattached, though this had never been her intention. At the moment, a finely wrought silver cross encrusted with amethysts lay atop her subtle, almost childish bosom, resting like a lily on the surface of a gently rippling pond. Each breath was a pebble tossed into the clear waters, causing the necklace to tremble ever so slightly.

The exquisite piece complimented a dainty gown of lilac silk that had been imported from Persia. Her dress would have been perceived as immodest by most Arabs, though the Nigerians rarely complained. Among her own people, she would have seemed a beacon of chastity, a virginal maiden whose demure glances bespoke a pure frailty or a frail purity, perhaps both. In her typical, somewhat lazy fashion, Alyse had instructed her ladies-in-waiting to let her silvery cascade of glistening tresses fall to below her waist, and they had brushed it until it gleamed like starlight on a moonless night.

"Your Highness's elocution is flawless," her bodyguard, Nayram ibn Ali Taider, mumbled grudgingly, as he listened to the liquid language of the ghazal, an indulgent romantic form that had some currency among the ancient Islamic courts. "Your Highness learned Arabic back in your homeland, yes?" he asked as she fell into silence, a smiling spreading across her lips. "You are not mistaken," Alyse replied airily, "I was taught the mechanics of the language in Pendragon, though I learned its beauty in Algeria. I suppose I owe you my gratitude on that account, Nayram." The Berber officer blinked once, struggling to retain an unaffected expression. "My men do not know me as an aficionado of the ghazal," he answered with a smirk. "All the same," the princess insisted playfully, "I remember your companions singing of Majnun and Layla as they watched the flames of their campfires sink into embers, and then into ashes. I fancied that your voice might be among them."

Nayram grimaced at the verbal jab. "W- I mean, they sang more often in the tongue of our people," he stated flatly, "We fought the war for those songs after all. They are what brought us into Your Highness's service." Laying her manuscript aside, Alyse titled her head until she was staring back directly into the bodyguard's dark, falcon-like eyes. "That is why I cherish your loyalty so," she confessed, half teasingly, half with sincerity, "A song reverberating through the hearth of one's heart is worth more than any mortar that could be thrust between a conscript's hands. Besides that, it makes for a more compelling tale than the classical knight. I'd take a troubadour over a dozen knights. They're such dull fellows, after all, knights."

"Princess..." he mouthed, perplexed beyond words, "I..." The rapid fall of feet sounded like rain travelling down the promenade that led away from the palace itself. It was faint but audible. A twinkling cymbal would do just as well to interrupt their discourse as a thunderclap. "Your Highness!" a woman's voice shouted. The excited cries could belong to none other than Lady Ariadne Greene, adviser to the governor of West Africa. Ariadne halted, panting and struggling to catch her breath, her hands pressed gingerly into the folds of her skirts. Her strawberry blonde ringlets were be-soiled by perspiration, indicating that she had sprinted the whole way from the palace. Typical. "Your Highness," Ariadne gasped at last, "I have word from the capital. Prince Schneizel has requested that you return with all due immediacy. For what reason, I cannot say."

Schneizel... Alyse reflected, abandoning her grin of smug satisfaction, What could you possibly desire, big brother? Have I earned your ire for my profligacy? Or perhaps your unwarranted praise for the pacification of this province? With the elegance of a straining butterfly, the princess rose from her perch and began strolling towards the palisades of the capitol. Nayram and Ariadne walked more clumsily at her ankles, trading periodic glances, as if wondering what their mistress would do. Alyse tended to be unpredictable at times. She took pleasure in eliciting confusion from others. "Ariadne," she said at last, the name spoken so softly that it could scarce be heard, "I intend to depart this evening. I leave the preservation of the Empire's interests to you." The blonde gave a deep curtsy in acknowledgement of her obligations.

"Nayram," she sang, breathing this name like a lion at the height of its hubris, "To you, who have been my brother-in-arms, I leave the command of the Amazigh-Tuareg Liberation Army and the Nigerian Guard." He never so much as nodded, yet Alyse knew that he would never scorn her orders, not so long as she aspired to liberate North Africa from the yoke of Arab domination. "It shall be as Your Highness says," came his response in Amazigh, the language of his forefathers. That meant more than anything else, to hear him pledge his loyalty in so vital a manner. With that, Alyse winked mischievously, and went to oversee preparations for her departure.

Tokyo Settlement outskirts

Shiro heard nothing but the dull, constant whir of the rotor blades above his head. The rhythmic beat was slow and steady, never ceasing in its fight against gravity. The pilot felt the Hawk as an extension of his body, manoeuvring gracefully through the sky like an angel of mercy. Looking out of the glass canopy, Shiro saw the ground far below. Beneath his blades, he saw Tokyo; that was when the wall of sound hit him. Crying, screaming, wailing, and burning. The entire city was shuddering in its death throes. The bodies of 35 million people lay within the flames, each of the rotting corpses crying its accusations at the craft that dared flee the suffering. Shiro tried to turn away, but found his gaze fixated on the figures below – watching as the flesh began to melt like wax in the intense inferno. Tokyo had become a pit from hell, an indiscriminate torturer of humanity. Among the screaming, Shiro saw the Nightmares stalking across the field of battle – their natural habitat. The vast mechanical creatures grasping whole crowds in their bloodied hands before crushing them in their powerful jaws. Shiro felt true terror, but was unable to flee the sight before him. Then one of the horrific beasts turned towards the fly that hovered so high in the sky. It’s glaring red eyes piercing Shiro’s soul and judging him for his dreadful sins. He wanted to cry out and beg for mercy but instead simply sat mute. Feeling a dull warmth around his waist, Shiro looked down to see the tongues of flame had finally reached the helicopter and were working their way up his legs. He watched as the skin began to dissolve from his bones, dripping onto the mangled floor. In one last act, Shiro turned to his co-pilot, intent on calling for the man to eject – whatever good that may do. Instead, he was greeted by a skull. The grotesque figure glowered at him, a manic grin betraying its intent. The pilot found himself drowning as the skull began to laugh.

He recognised that face.

Shiro awoke drenched. His eyes were wide with panic and fear as he threw himself out of his bed, retching onto the cold floor. There he lay for a few minutes, his entire body shaking as he tried to convince his terrified mind that it had all been another dream. The sounds of early morning Tokyo washed over him: the distant sound of traffic mingling with the thumping of his heart. Pulling himself up, Shiro quickly swallowed the waiting pill on his bedside with practiced ease, but he questioned the use. The nightmares were coming back, and the prescription from the division doctor weren’t working anymore. But somehow, the repetitive routine comforted him. Finally managing to recover some semblance of his humanity, Shiro looked down at the clock, surprised to see that it was only 4 in the morning. That was when the blaring tone from his phone first registered in his drowsy mind and all thoughts of the night were forgotten: they were being mobilised.

Tokyo Settlement, Britanian Base

Benjamin Satine, aka, "Merk" stood alone in a hanger, smoking an electronic cigarette and leaning up against the leg of his Glascow. It numbed his pain, especially after the battle that he had just seen. It really made him question his reasons for fighting. Japan had been a sovereign nation and Britania had just decided to take it for its resources. It made no sense to the man, why. Why would they slaughter a nations people and treat them like animals? Were they not humans too? Didn't all nations have a right to exist?

He exhaled a cloud of vapor and kept puffing on his choice of poison. "it's not fair, just who do we think that we are? Does Emperor Charles believe that he's God?" it made him angry to be honest. He was fighting a war that was not morally right. He wondered if the EU or Japan forces would accept a deserter, even rotting in prison would be better than this.

He turned off his cig and hopped into his Sutherland with a grunt, the control panel lighting up before him. He took a deep breath as he tried to come to terms with what he was about to do. If the Britanians found out what he was about to do, he'd be executed. If anyone asked, he was on a patrol mission. He hoped that they would buy that, especially since the prison camp had just been attacked.

When he left the hanger, wheels of his mech screeching behind him, he set a course for the Prison Camp, hopefully he could ditch his Sutherland and blend in.

"Huh?"

The last possible thing Yuri really wanted to do right now was to fight Britannians. He assumed the people in front of him were members of the resistance who had sprung him and the others from the prison camp. "I'm an EU citizen, I'm not fighting!" He shouted in broken Japanese as he tossed the gun back at the fighters. If the Britannian soldiers found him, he'd claim that foreign civilians were diplomatically immune, or so EU laws told him.

"I'm trying to hide, alright, so get out of here!"

The Lieutenant laughed. "They don't care for Civilians! They're killing EVERYBODY! Now, fight with us and live, or stay here and die when a Knightmare inevitably finds you. Your choice!" He yelled. He continued returning fire, and a couple of screams from the Britannians told him he had some success.

And in fact a knightmare was rolling down that very street, trying avoid the fighting. "Now, I just have to find a place to ditch this hunk of metal." Benjamin grunted from inside his Sutherland. He had a data linked map of where all of the other Britanian forces were currently located. "In the ghetto of all places, well, at least they won't think to look for an officer here." He hadn't yet noticed the EU citizen, nor Japanese freedom fighters.

Benjamin grunted from inside his Sutherland. He had a data linked map of where all of the other Britanian forces were currently located. "In the ghetto of all places, well, at least they won't think to look for an officer here." He hadn't yet noticed the EU citizen, nor Japanese freedom fighters.

"LOOK OUT!" The other Resistance fighter yelled, as he threw a Grenade at Benjamin's Knightmare. Tsuyoi quickly rolled out of the way, and ended up leaning on Yuri.

Lagos, Britannian West Africa, Holy Britannian Empire

Werner Brühler shot in quick succession two guards, guarding the outside of Princess Alyse la Britannia's Bedchamber. He gestured for his team of 3 other Jäger operators to keep watch, moving swiftly and silently to the Bedchamber, he opened the door, followed by his Sniper, Hanna Schmidt, an Austrian from Vienna. The Bedchamber was mostly silent, the windows were opened, surprisingly. But there was no sign of escape, or even movement in the almost hauntingly silent Chamber.

The form of the Princess was apparent even through the Canopy, which light colors shines in the moonlight. He gestured for Hanna to approach from the left while he approaches the right, equipping his Suppressed Pistol, he opens the canopy, only to find that the form that he saw was not the princess, instead, it was a pillow, "Scheiße!" He whispered loudly, before hearing a gun cock behind him. "Hello Princess." He said to the princess, who was now holding a gun pointed to his head.

The Knightmare swerved to avoid the grenade at the very last second. "IN THE NAME OF!" The knightmares rifle raised and the pilot placed his finger on the trigger. "There aren't supposed to be any Britanians forces in thi-....wait a minute! The resistance! Of Course!" The knightmare surprisingly lowered its rifle and the cockpit in the back of the craft opened up and the pilot stood up with his hands in the air. He was a tall, thin, fellow with purple hair that covered the left side of his face, purple earrings, and purple eyes. "Captain Benjamin Satine, Holy Empire of Britania. I formally surrender to the Japanese resistance forces." He hoped that using the word "Japanese" and not "11" would make him seem more sincere.

The Other Resistance fighter continued laying suppressing fire on the nearby Brittanian forces, while Tsuyoi walked up to him, Rifle aimed at head. "Congratulations. You are our first Knightmare P.O.W., so you get special treatment." He then slammed Benjamin against the Knightmare and held his hands together. "Hmmmm, I have no Rope, so I'll have to use your Knightmare." He then threw Benjamin into the Cockpit. "I know how to pilot this well enough. Don't try anything funny back there, or there will be a bullet in your brain." He powered up the Knightmare and headed for Britannian forces.

Of course, Benjamin grunted at the rough treatment, but he didn't bother putting up a struggle. "I have handcuffs in the console if you want." he suggested, whatever made the Japanese feel more comfortable. He wouldn't bother explaining himself, not yet. "And if I may suggest you head the OTHER way. You know, not towards the people that want to kill us." He expected to be roughed up for that, but he was a very opinionated person. "They don't take to traitors well and I am trying to live if it's all the same to you."

"Every way is people trying to kill us. We're trying to punch a hole. Knight mares do just that. Oh, and I don't quite care if you get killed. It doesn't affect the war effort in any way at all. So, let the battle begin!" Tsuyoi said, attacking Britannian infantry with the Knightmare's weapons. "Remember, this is our best shot at living!" He shouted during the battle.

"I have a problem with death, unless it's to Charles Vi Britania and that whole bloody family. So what's your suicidal plan?" he asked over the gunfire, he didn't seem particularly upset or moved by all going on around them. "Do you know how to access the data link? It tells you the locations of all Britanians forces. Might be useful to you."

"Don't need it. I don't have to destroy them, just punch a hole." Tsuyoi said. After killing several Britannians, he ran the Knightmare out of the Camp. The other Resistance fighter followed after on foot, throwing another grenade behind him. "When you're hitting the thinnest part of a line, you don't need a plan. And by the way, what was that you said about Charles the Demon?"

"Don't mind me reaching into my pocket, I just need a smoke." he reached into his pocket and pulled out his e-cig and switched it on, putting it between his lips. "I hate him. What kind of monster takes over nations to satisfy his own personal agenda, who forces his whole country to blindly follow him and practically worship him as if he is God? What kind of country thinks its people are superior to others and kills them like cattle? Aren't we all human? Don't we all deserve to live? If you behave like that Demon, as you called him, you gave up your humanity long ago, then you don't deserve to live." he blew a cloud of water vapor and looked up blankly at the ceiling of his knightmare. "That's what I believe."

Tsuyoi laughed. "I think you had too much to smoke." He said. "For, while he is a horrible man, how are we better then him unless we let him live? Killing him is pointless. It dosen't achieve anything, and only gets blood on our hands. But, what you believe is what you believe. Our next mission is to take over an Airplane. We are headed for North Africa, after this. Just wanted to liberate a few Japanese P.O.Ws before I go. Lost 6 men though." Tsuyoi sighed. "Conflict like this will always happen on this imperfect world. By definition, a law a binding persons goals and views conflict with that of a criminal. Of course Conflict will happen. But if we make it as perfect as we can while retaining our Humanity, one day, all of us can go to heaven. That's what I believe." He then continued running, far over to his resistance group's camp.

Fukuoka base, Chinese Federation Occupied Japan
Xiaodan was hunched forward over a cluttered desk of timetables when the base speakers sparked and sputtered to life. A distorted yet recognizably nervious voice echoed across the base "Attention! General Cao will now address the troops!". A short pause, followed by the barely audible sound of the General clearing his throat. "Soldiers of the Chinese Federation, Britannia believes themselves Invincible, for they stand great and tall over the meek. But this is their undoing, for China is not meek! They cannot stand against the True Greatest Kingdom on the Earth, China! We will show them what True Power is, and make them repent on their arrogance. Today, we restore the natural balance of the world, and our Ancestors will smile upon us for this. Today, we restore the Nation of Japan to it's people, and claim glory for our Federation and Families. Today, we will restore China to it's former Glory, and dash the mad dreams of Britannia and her Emperor! Death to Britannia!"
If she were anywhere else on the base, Xiaodan would have heard that last line chanted over and over ad nauseam, but down here in the supply bunker there wasn't a single cry to be heard. "If only a war was as simple as hating someone to death" Xiaodan whispered to herself before returning her attention to the timetables. The plan was simple, in 4 hours the Japanese resistance would begin it's organized mass uprising, which would clear the way for the E.U's beach landing which would happened an hour later. Then, the Chinese Federation would begin to make it's own assault, and the three forces would drive Britannia back to it's stronghold at the Tokyo settlement, allowing the Chinese Federation to land it's main forces to surround Tokyo. The whole plan was designed to be a high speed attack that would capture Tokyo within a day in order to prevent the Britannians from attacking the exposed command centers of the E.U and Chinese Federation.
But while the Generals were congratulating eachother for a job well done, it was Xiaodan and the other Officers' Jobs to make this plan a reality, and that ment Logistics. Almost a hundred Gun-ru would lead the spearhead Assault from Fukuoka Base to Tokyo in the north. That required more then twice that number in pilots to be brought along. Each pilot required food, clothing, a place to sleep inbetween battles, and infantry weapons. In addition, each Gun-ru had a support staff of about 3, who all needed that as well. Then the Gun-ru itself required about half it's weight in spare parts, as well as various types of Ammunition, and the right equipment had to reach the right squad. The Anti-tank Gun-rus needed AP rounds, and the Urban Combat Gun-rus needed the Micro-bullet rounds. This whole set up required advanced supply lines to be created within the space of minutes as the front advanced, and would eventually result in a massive web of supply routes spanning the entire nation of Japan. And it needed to be built within a day. By the officers of three different military hierarchies with different chains of command. So while the General gave rousing speeches for the troops, Xiaodan spent her six hours before the invasion double checking timetables.
