Over their history, conventional full-scale wars are what Israel has generally faced over terrorism.

Modern SPGs are almost universally armed with 155mm guns and as far as I know, none of them exceed 55 calibers in length. This is not a tank; it's an artillery piece with no indirect fire capability. In other words: useless.
IIRC most older pieces plus AS90 are L/39, while recently there's been a trend toward L/52 as in the PzH 2000. Crusader was to have L/56 and be liquid cooled for bonus lulz.

I doubt it was to have a liquid fuelled gun solid propellant is better in every perceivable way. Liquid cooling makes sense for that RoF advantage though

Yes, I know what the Six Day War is, I don't see how me reading up on it would be useful, as I'm talking about the Merkava IV and how it could theoretically fair against... let's say, a Leopard 2A7, if that's the correct name

I'm assuming it will be APC and IFV heavy?
Also, this may be a stupid question, but what vehicles do you advise on transporting prisoners? Just trucks?

Depends on what their doctrinal approach is. If you're being silly and French and you're looking for a Jominian resolution to your bouts with the rebels, APCs and IFVs will be what you throw into the fray. If you're a little cleverer and appreciate the fact that APCs and IFVs, with their long supply chains and thick armour, aren't always the best recourse against ragtag bands of Boers, you'll stick with trucks, armoured cars, helicopters and foot patrols with on-call air support.
Judging by the naming, though, you probably want them to be all red-coated and incompetent - in which case, get those tracks rolling!
E: Does also depend on how the rebels fight, how large the area covered is and so on, mind.
