King Farouk I had stood as the King of Egypt since the 1930's. Now, as the world quieted down from the terror of the Second World War, Syrian, Egyptian, Jewish and Muslim citizens alike shouted louder than ever, calling for a change in Egypt. Some even whispered revolution. The United Socialist Parliaments, the new state that had taken power in the British Isles, was very little reminiscent of the old British Empire, yet when offered independence Farouk reluctantly disagreed. A faction within his royal court calling for increased centralisation and monarchical power, manged to sway his mind at the last minute, claiming that the British hegemony could prove advantageous to further Egypt's technology and also make the economy more dynamic.

However, the British oil companies still dominated much of the industry that provided nearly 80% of its income. On January 5th, 1951 the Egyptian Parliament convened a petitioned that King Farouk demand economic concessions that would hand control of the Suez Canal back over to the Egyptians, but the British could still use it freely. After much deliberation, the Parliament reached an agreement and a letter was drafted. The session was not over, but they had managed to agree on something, and Farouk found himself increasingly subject to the whim of the Parliament's smart politicians.

Our country has chosen to remain an integral part of the British Empire, even though such a state no longer exists as it did some years ago. We however request that the Suez Canal come again back into the control of our Egyptian companies and financial institutions so that our own economy may prosper. Farouk and the Egyptian Parliament had hoped to quell the talks of revolution by increasing the control of the monarchy and further solidifying a sort of independence for Egypt. However, they did not fully understand that the revolutionaries called for total independence from Britain and from Capitalism itself. So, they were ignorant to the fact that they were actually making the entire situation worse. That same night, another sect of the growing revolutionary movement throughout the country convened in the house of its leader Abdel Mostafa. This movement took the form of right wing extremism that called for the abolition of the Egyptian monarchy and a turn towards a republic. Mostafa argued that Egyptian society had been polluted for hundreds of years by foreign rulers and demanded that the citizens, and not kings, take the reigns of the great country. He started the organisation, National Egypt around six years ago and by 1951 his followers numbered around 160,000. Egypt was on a collision course to obliteration.

"That Lying bastard!" The PM was not in a good mood. Reports from both MI6 and his military personal in Egypt had reported a huge spike in anti-British sentiment in the population since their arrival. USP troops were being portrayed as Imperialist Redcoats here to suppress them. Even the Egyptian socialists were up in arms and MI6 reported that while there were no actual fighting ongoing it was very nearly that. The Protests outside the base were growing bigger and more rowdy by the day, British troops had had to put up barbed wire and fire warning shots on more than one occasion.

I want them giving out fliers and translators to tell those people that we hate Imperialism and that we sure as hell arn't capitalists. If it does end up getting out of hand i don't want a massacre. Unless the troops are fired at first and take casualties they are not to under any circumstances to provoke the crowd. If they have to then tell them to return to base using the tanks bulk and rifle butts to move the crowd."

Halls next agenda was replying to both Russian republics. The whites and the reds. The whites were capitalists yes but they had always tried to maintain good relations and we were allies during the war. The Reds were lead by a man crazed by power. CIA Director Walter Smith opened the door to the President's room to find him sitting up and reading the morning paper. Luckily the bullet had only broken his collar bone created a shallow wound.

January 5th, 1951; The City of Kalingrad, U.F.C.R; Enbarkment Terminal of Ramanov Military Air Base

Arriving in the military transport, the delegation for the meeting with the Soviets was in one word, diverse.

With no contact between either nation, there were a lot of potential issues from all ranges within the Republic government to be brought up in the following diplomatic conversations, and the President had been besieged by a flood of requests. Five glasses of alcohol and several hours later, the President had finally briddled the discussion of who was going to be present long enough to make a decision. While that solved the problem of who was going, the addition of a freak lighting storm had slowed their progress when their flight path had to be diverted.

The fact that he would be the one "fashionablly late" to the meeting was not helping his headache. The tense atmosphere within the areoplane spoke which did not need to be said. Medvedev was in the Black Mood.

A strickly Russian phenomenon at that, when the politics becomes so overbearing that even the vodka stops helping. Being politicians, this was something that all the members of his entourage only knew too well.

Pushing his way through the terminal building, he, the cabinet in his company, and the military entourage worked themselves to the front of the building, where they were meet by the Presidential Motorcade which would swiftly take to Kalingrad Harbor, where the final leg of the journey to the Diplomacy Center would begin.

The politicans and statesmen, numbering 15 in all, gathered around in a very American-like football huddle, lead by their now semi-recovered President.

Finishing any last minute adjustments with ties, belts, and perhaps a swig of alcohol here and there, the combination of statesmen, social scientists, and military leaders walked in step into the darkenss of the building entrance. A building not entered for nearly a decade.

British presence was still at an all time high. The British still also maintained the Egyptian country as a protectorate. Anti-British and Nationalists, now united as sympathizers to the Free Officers continue to spread propaganda. Posters idolizing the Communist way of life and defacing British ministers are put up all across the port city of Suez. As a result, more and more people wish to see the British completely gone.

Peaceful protests outside the British military installation on the mouth of the Suez canal erupt into complete chaos as British regulars fire what they claim to be "warning shots". The protesters storm the base, bloodthirsty, angered, and completely overcome with conditioned emotions.

Major General Naguib, sitting in his military office just outside of Suez after going AWOL from the Egyptian Military, receives news of a British message. Naguib, determined not to negotiate at all with the British and only wishing to see them vanquished from the Arab world, dismisses the message.

Major General Naguib is a very religious man, although that conflicts with his preferred ideology. Angered with the Balfour Declaration and the subsequent immigration of thousands of Jews to Palestine, Naguib has an internal, inextinguishable hatred for anything British. The only thing he enjoys is the British-imported tea and their weaponry, especially the Lee Enfield. That, he is determined to keep in his stockpiles. Nonetheless, he will embrace Socialism. A money-less society where all are equal and free to live their lives knowing they contribute to the state is a beautiful vision. When such a state is established, then he will rest. Until then, death to the capitalists and death to the British.

2. Development of Improved Jet Powered planes. This should involve the development of better 'Fighter-jets' as well as multi-role jets, ground attack jets and bombers. We already have jet powered military planes but these weapons are a key force in the arms race and a new generation are needed.

3. Missile technology needs to be investigated and developed. Surface to Air missiles to defend British City's and defenses from WW2 style bombing raids are our primary concern. Air-Surface and guided missiles are also important but currently they are secondary. Many German scientists were developing Weaponry like this. The capitalists of USA and the whites will have an advantage with that but we do have several that we have captured. They have already begun walking us through plans.

3. A Socialist Attack helicopter. helicopter Technology opens many military doors and so should be developed. The First focused development should be on a heavily armed attack helicopter that will be effective in demolishing our opponents. It sould be armed with interchange able weaponry so it can be used in a variety of roles. Anti-tank, infantry support, anti-ship etc. It needs also to be able to withstand high enemy fire.

British presence was still at an all time high. The British still also maintained the Egyptian country as a protectorate. Anti-British and Nationalists, now united as sympathizers to the Free Officers continue to spread propaganda. Posters idolizing the Communist way of life and defacing British ministers are put up all across the port city of Suez. As a result, more and more people wish to see the British completely gone.

Peaceful protests outside the British military installation on the mouth of the Suez canal erupt into complete chaos as British regulars fire what they claim to be "warning shots". The protesters storm the base, bloodthirsty, angered, and completely overcome with conditioned emotions.

Major General Naguib, sitting in his military office just outside of Suez after going AWOL from the Egyptian Military, receives news of a British message. Naguib, determined not to negotiate at all with the British and only wishing to see them vanquished from the Arab world, dismisses the message.

Major General Naguib is a very religious man, although that conflicts with his preferred ideology. Angered with the Balfour Declaration and the subsequent immigration of thousands of Jews to Palestine, Naguib has an internal, inextinguishable hatred for anything British. The only thing he enjoys is the British-imported tea and their weaponry, especially the Lee Enfield. That, he is determined to keep in his stockpiles. Nonetheless, he will embrace Socialism. A money-less society where all are equal and free to live their lives knowing they contribute to the state is a beautiful vision. When such a state is established, then he will rest. As the other Russians approached the Diplomacy center, General Secretart Shvernik snickered and said a comment to Stalin.

At least the Soviets beat them at something. The men had hardened faces and in their hands, most of them held on to thick Cuban cigars lit and roasting slowly. They walked calmly into the establishment not taking a single look at their compatriots. Stalin walked with a subtle stride to the seat at the end of the Soviet side of the table. A rather short, but muscular young man came in last carrying a large briefcase. He sat it on the floor and opened it and out he pulled 25 glasses, and a tall bottle of Russian Vodka, imported from Ivanograd. He then proceeded to pour each of the Soviets a glass. They sipped and puffed as they remained silent. Clearly they would not speak first.

As ordered by the Soviet government, weapons, men, and planes were to be sent to the Egyptian Socialist revolutionaries currently beginning their fight against the monarch in Egypt. The men would take some time to be assembled, organised, and finally sent off but the first shipment of guns was ready. 5,000 SVT-40's were loaded onto transport ships and sent for delivery to the revolutionaries. This is where-ever so "land" the perpitrators were apprehended on or in.

Warfare

-Both Parties agree to the free exchange of information if its relevance will effect the alternative Party, for good or ill.

-Both Parties will guarentee each other mutual protection in the offense and defense, in situations overt, covert, conventional and unconventional warfare. This will include assistance and aid in times of grave trial where the sovereginty of either Party as a nation-state is threatened.

Franco stood up and brushed the paper aside, walking slowly, calm and a blank face, wearing his black-tinted aviators after watching the sunset.

He entered a black-walled room, enough to be impenetrable for the noise from the outside as the calm bay was so quiet and peaceful, so as the Spanish people, waiting for his radio broadcast. The broadcast will be coming from the battleship's audio booth but will be spreading the live audio to all Spain. Franco then stood in front of the microphone and began to hold his paper with his own words written on it.

"Dear fellow citizens, the Spanish people and subjects of the State, in Iberia, in Africa, in the rest of the world. Hear our declaration! The 'red terror' that once plunged Spain into death and utter downfall is now widespread and prevalent. The sickness and this cancer that now emerges after the failure of our brothers-in-arms in Germany and Italy are victorious and called our silence 'a peaceful era'. They are thinking that Spain is silent in this times of trouble. The British isles is plagued with this disease, enroaching even our own shores in Gibraltar, where the citizens are falsely believing the wrong path to their own success. The Germans are divided after the fall of our brother Hitler. Italy has their downfall as well. Russia is divided, where the capitalists are still surviving from the red terror they are experiencing. Asia is slowly turning communist, while Africa remains silent from the miseries of the world since Spain holds prosperous guard over the lands in the northwest.
