The Southern Union recently changed from South Esquarium Treaty Organisation (SETO) is an intergovernmental military and trade alliance in Southern Esquarium. It currently has seven members, Gillenor, Vilska, Pensalum, Teneus, Asasia, Epraria and Feidexhaven.

After the Third Namo-Luziycan War (http://iiwiki.com/wiki/Third_Namo-Luziycan_War) several nations in the south agreed that they must protect their area from outside violence. This lead to the creation of SETO, which focused on the defence of the south, will also offering a larger trade alliance to it's members. Many members however agreed that SETO should be much bigger than just a defence alliance, and should almost be a council of the south, and so the Southern Union was born.
