Gloriax 364 (138.4 overs), 245/3 (64.4 overs)
Drawn
Day 1, Session 1
And Jeckland start well. Jones falls cheaply, but James and Dawkins bput together a 90 run partnership before lunch to put the hosts on 97/1
Day 1, Session 2
Dawkins grinds his way to 95 not out, with James falling for 61 and Borininho stumped just before tea. Sampkins looks shaky, but survives to make the score 186/3
Day 1, Session 3
Dawkins falls in the last over for a monumental 140. Sampkins falls cheaply, but Ayers and Parsons both bat well to close out a successful day for Jeckland on 272/5
Day 2, Session 1
Ayers and Parsons both fall halfway through the session, but some controlled hitting from Tirek combined with Holmes's dogged defence leave Jeckland on 351/7
Day 2, Session 2
Tirek hits some more but Gloriax clean up and bat the five overs to tea safely, going in on 10/0 having bowled Jeckland out for 414
Day 2, Session 3
Gloriax looked safe, but two late wickets from Tirek cap off a fairly even day as Gloriax go in on 89/2
Day 3, Session 1
Gloriax bat well, picking up runs without losing a wicket and as such are 185/2
Day 3, Session 2
Only one wicket down, to the bowling of Ryan. Can anyone stop the Gloriax batsmen, as they go in on 274/3
Day 3, Session 3
Holmes can! His magical five wicket haul spell tears the heart out of the middle order, and Chambers takes the final two wickets to seize control. Gloriax 264 all out, Jeckland lead by 50.
Day 4, Session 1
Rained off. Boo hoo!
Day 4, Session 2
Rain again!
Day 4, Session 3
Those diehard fans that stuck around through the rain were rewarded by seeing 123 runs and 4 wickets, as both teams fought for supremacy. Jeckland 123/4
Day 5, Session 1
Jeckland started well, but then the middle order collapsed like it was having a heart attack. Bowled out for 208, would Gloriax be able to get the 281 runs in just 2 sessions? Or would Jeckland claim the wickets for their first test win?
Day 5, Session 2
Gloriax go thundering off! A Jeckland win is surely out of the equation, but have Gloriax got the fight to keep the onslaught going? They go in at 137/0
Day 5, Session 3
They looked dangerous, but Ryan removed three of them in quick sucession and the run rate plummeted. You wonder what the outcome would have been had it not been for the rain.
