The wait is over. Time for the young guns to take on the field and show that they are the future of Barangayan football. The landmark Di Bradini Cup, now on its thirtieth edition, will take place in Starblaydia, one of the pillars of World football, where their senior team won five World Cups, a feat only a few nations have achieved. This year, the KPMB ensured that the best players from The Royal Barangay and overseas. They managed to bring in players playing abroad in Felix, as the ever present Marco Escuro and Elmerei Prudente led in their arrival in the capital. The Starblaydi Football Association accepted The Royal Barangay's application for entry in the tournament, and the group draw was somehow interesting.

When the KPMB football people saw the groups, one name was ringing heavily in their ears: Rule Theriault. He is one of the most hated people in the nation, due to his scathing remarks about the majority of the Esportivan nations. "It's time to show that puffy man that we are not to be underestimated.", an employee even said. They were so focused in their discussions on whether Free Republics is the real deal, they did not notice one nation in their group that could pose a serious threat, not only to the Barangayans' tournament hopes, but also the safety of the squad.

Gregoryisgodistan.

This nation is notorious for their ruthless executions not only in their own land, but also outside their fences. They were first seen in the sporting community as entrants in a baseball tournament hosted by the Royal Barangay. They had a scuffle with the government of the Kingdom of Costa Luna, a nation now forgotten in the minds of an ordinary citizen of a sporting nation. They upped their ante when their Grid slaves displayed public executions of their players and staff in the Baptism of Iron and the World Bowl.

People in the nation were very concerned that this nation could start killing players of their opposing nations in tournaments they enter. This was confirmed when the entire Patistani team was crushed to death by their youth hockey team and some "enemy crushers". Not only they killed the Patistani delegation, but they also ended the lives of some officials and hotel staff in our regionmates, the San Jose Guayabal. The Perlasilangani delegation, while attending a meeting among the leaders of the Fipino Federation, told the leaders that they 'feared for their lives' when that happened, and also due to the poor safety standards of SJG in their stadia.

This is what the KPMB wanted to avoid in Starblaydia. Especially when the first match is against them. Maybe they could kill the players after the first match, or even kill them when needed. The highest ranked officials in the KPMB met with the chief of staff of the HSMB, the elite soldier force in The Royal Barangay, no other than Gran Supremo Antonio Arias. The ones who were persuading Arias to send personnel with the squad to Starblaydia in order to ensure their safety. The meeting took a painstaking nine hours, due to Arias' reservations. He is worried that sending troops could damage any relations between the two nations. At the end, he was persuaded to send security personnel with the squad.

Days later, the KPMB sent an official letter to the Starblaydi FA, the organizers of the Di Bradini Cup.

KONSEHONG PAMPALAKASAN NG MAHARLIKANG BARANGAY
The Royal Barangay Sports Council

To the Starblaydi Football Association personnel,

The Konsehong Pampalakasan ng Maharlikang Barangay, abbreviated as KPMB, is the highest sporting body of The Royal Barangay. The council governs the development of sport in the nation, focusing in the fields of football, basketball, baseball, handball, and rugby union among others. The council strives to aid on the development and excellence of Barangayans in the every sport that they enter.

We acknowledged our intent to enter the Di Bradini Cup, one of the most prestigious events in the multiverse, which is organized by your association, the great Starblaydi Football Association. We are aware that the groupings have already been drawn, with us playing in Group G in Sports Hall in Karak D'Ragh, and the Iota "Big Eye" Arena in Penningworth.

We are also aware that a nation named Gregoryisgodistan is also entered in this tournament. What is more concerning here is that this nation is in the same group as ours and our under-21 team is set to face them first in Karak D'Ragh. We request that security in the areas of Karak D'Ragh and Penningworth in general be strengthened to uphold the security and safety of the participants, not only our under-21 team but also the other teams in the tournament.

We have received news regarding the unfortunate fate of the Patistani youth hockey team, who perished in the violence caused by the players and staff of the Gregoryisgodistani team during their quarterfinal match at the World Junior Hockey Championships in San Jose Guayabal. This was apparently caused by security lapses in behalf of the Guayabalense, which also lost some lives, including an entire staff of the hotel. This information was passed upon us by a Fipino Federation constituent, Perlasilangan, which also competed in the same event.

For this, we request your kind office to keep a close eye on the players and staff of the Gregoryisgodistani team in order to prevent the events that transpired in Guayabal. For the same reason, we are requesting approval for the deployment of our own security team, composed of eight Armadong Kasangga, who will wear civilian clothing distinct from the Barangayan team, and will accompany the squad in all official and non-official activities outside of football matches.

We are hoping for your response regarding this matter.

SIgned,

Pedrito Mariano
Chairperson, KPMB

Noted,

Antonio Arias
Gran Supremo of the Royal Barangay
Chief of staff, Hukbong Sandatahan ng Maharlikang Barangay

As the letter is being sent to the Starblaydi authorities, the members of the squad are preparing to fly to Atlantian Oceania. For the security staff, they might have to wait for approval before flying too...

WILL SCOUTS RUIN THE EXPERIENCE?

by Kevin Gallant

Thank you for scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the website to find the soccer link, and then actually clicking on this article. It is shame that after a successful World Cup qualifying effort that saw our Wildcats actually linger in contention for a playoff spot until the final couple matchdays, that most of the national attention is beginning to shift towards other sports again. This is one of those times that I wish I could have been born in another nation, that actually appreciated the great sport that soccer is. Such as Starblaydia.

For those who have never heard of it, Starblaydia is a nation in the soccer-mad region of Atlantian Oceania, though natives tend to simply call it "AO" or "THE place", and they have an illustrious history in soccer. I won't get into it, because I don't want to lose my readers, but for the youngsters about the take place in the Di Bradini Cup (or under-21 World Cup), there is no better place for the games to be played. I really hope that the kids are able to enjoy their time out there, but I have the feeling that there are scouts about to swarm them like vultures. After all, Kinzar is off on matchday one, so the will have plenty of time to get themselves situated in the purple nation and start hunting their prey. And this is why soccer will never be popular in Kinzar, because I am not talking about soccer scouts. I'm talking about football scouts. (or as some may call it, gridiron scouts). There will be baseball and basketball scouts on hand, I'm sure as well, but its those damn football (or gridiron) scouts that ruin anything. If a young striker or midfielder, such as Quinton Merrill or Jason Chamberlain can impressively maneuver their opposition on the soccer field, then maybe they can also thrive as a running back. Or a linebacker. Those fullbacks (in soccer), they can become defensive backs.

And so the dirty cycle never stops running. Those who are truly Kinzar's best soccer players, the ones who give us a better chance at actually, maybe, qualifying for a World Cup one day, are going to end up as third-stringers on a football roster. Those who actually continue to play soccer will be the ones that could never get a football contract. If you spend any time watching the Di Bradini Cup games, you will see the future of the game on other rosters. It will be exciting for people like me to watch, because I live and breathe soccer. But for those representing Kinzar? They'll be eaten up by the vultures. You'll likely never see them in qualifying for the next World Cup, or any World Cup, because by then they'll be wearing shoulder pads and a helmet. And if not that, then batting gloves.

Is there any way to stop this in Kinzar? Will soccer ever have a chance? If you look at the salaries the best players are making in the Kinzite Soccer League, you might see a couple over a million, but the average salary is $80,000. That's it! In the Kinzite Football League, the LEAGUE MINIMUM is $650,000 per player. So in a sense, you can not even play a down in football, and made more then 95% of the nation's soccer players. If they can't cut it in football, then most will gravitate towards baseball, where the LEAGUE MINIMUM is $550,000 per player, and even in the deep minor league system, and average salary is $105,000. Why continue playing soccer?

The fact is, the only thing that is going to keep youngsters in Kinzar playing soccer is if they get offers to play in other nations, but in order to even get the attention of them, Kinzar must be respected somewhat for its soccer. After a qualifying campaign that was respectable, saw them draw the defending champions from Eura once, and beat New Sideburn (who qualified) once, and the first ever sellout of a home qualifying game, it's now or never. Therefore, I applaud all those associated with the running of our national team for entering Kinzar in the Di Bradini Cup and giving the kids a chance to show their talents. The football and baseball scouts will be all over them, but if they can get some soccer scouts from other nations also looking at them and offering to pay them far more then they could ever think about in Kinzar, then we can keep them playing soccer. In the long run, then, more kids will see that even though they may be a Kinzite, they can play soccer and make money at it, and don't have to leave the sport that may be their first true passion to play something else.

"Hello, good afternoon, and welcome to this special FPIBC bulletin on the u-21s national football team. When they say that life in the u-21s prepares you for life in the senior side, they're right. With youth football, the result isn't always the thing that matters most. What matters most is that you emulate the way you want to play when at the peak of your abilities. If you win, then all the better, but the aim is to learn, to train, and to do what the seniors do. Last tournament the u-21s took that instruction a little too seriously however, and they lost in the final. To avoid that happening this time again, van der Riise, who has announced this will be his last tournament in charge of the Chicks, and van Jendrisen have made the decision not to select any members of the full Terns side. Things are looking good despite this however, with a seriously talented year of players about to break into the side. Good vintage? Let's find out."

GK
#1 - GK - Tobias Toft - Age 21 - Inland Peaks (Vilita)
#12 - GK - Ruben Chernienko - Age 19 - FC1. Bjarnarey Athletic
#13 - GK - Vincent Mohr - Age 17 - FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls
"Tobias Toft's heroics in the last tournament ensured he kept his number one jersey going into this one, with a contract from Vilitan club Inland Peaks on his way as well. The Gymnast of Bjarnarey, Ruben Chernienko, retains his spot in the side, whilst the new kid on the block is seventeen year old Vincent Mohr of Surtsey."

DEF
#2 - DR - Vauxhall Jansen - Age 21 - Inland Peaks (Vilita)
#3 - DC - Yann-Erik Nilsson - Age 21 - SK Franz Josef City
#4 - DC - Torsten Navarro - Age 21 - FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls Vice-Captain
#5 - DL - Niels Kruse - Age 21 - Revolutionaries (Eura)
#18 - DR - Espen Erevik - Age 17 - East Franz Athletic
#19 - DL - Runar Wilbech - Age 17 - SK Aasiaat Harbour
#21 - DC - Olaf Strauss - Age 17 - Red Star Severny
#22 - DC - Alexei Brannstrom - Age 19 - SC Montfort (The Licentian Islands)
#23 - DC - Marten Ortendahl - Age 17 - Koppen Rig Force
"Five defenders from the last squad retain their places in this, with Vauxhall Jansen switching from the left flank to the right thanks to the absence of Bjerregaard from this squad. Niels Kruse is also promoted to the starting eleven, with Brannstrom partnering Nilsson and Navarro in a back three. Erevik and Wilbech come into the squad as wingers converting to more defensive roles, the same way Bjerregaard started, though obviously both are some way off his ability just yet, and highly rated centre-backs Strauss and Ortendahl make up the roster."

MID
#6 - DMC - Ulrich Mortensen - Age 17 - FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls
#7 - AMC - Nikita Eskildsen - Age 19 - FC Solovetsky Monastery
#8 - MC - Bjorn Konigstein - Age 21 - SK Franz Josef City Captain
#11 - AMC - Henning Klein - Age 17 - RSK Longyearbyen Town
#14 - MC - Casper Vildalen - Age 17 - Northbrook Diamonds FK
#15 - DMC - Mats Jernemyr - Age 17 - Jan Mayen Islanders
#16 - AMC - Tor Hedegaard - Age 19 - La Nueva Avenida (Farfadillis)
#17 - MC - Robin Geirsson - Age 17 - FC Torshavn
"With Holzhauser unable to take part due to his participation at the World Cup with the Terns, van der Riise has opted to go for untested duo Mortensen and Jernemyr in the defensive midfielder position, with the former expected to get the nod in the starting line-up at least at first. The central midfield will be bulked up by the presence of Bjorn Konigstein, with Hedegaard and Eskildsen offering the attacking flair and support for the strikers on either side of the SK Franz Josef City midfielder. Much is hoped for from Robin Geirsson of Torshavn, though Klein and Vildalen have had their selections come from somewhat left field."

ATT
#9 - ST - Ernest Akerhausen - Age 20 - Jan Mayen Islanders
#10 - ST - Halvard Jensen - Age 17 - FC Axel Heiburg
#20 - ST - Rauno Bickermann - Age 17 - Red Star Severny
"Up front, Ernest Akerhausen with his pace, craft, and creativity will be leading the line and attempting to pick the locks of offside traps up and down the Multiverse. Two young seventeen year old strikers join him in the squad, with both Jensen and Bickermann looking to impose themselves upon the watching coaching staff for whoever replaces van der Riise in the future. Jensen is your classic target man, whilst Bickermann so far appears to prefer the classic poaching role."

Probable Starting formation: 3-3-3-1
----------------------------------- Toft -----------------------------------
----------------- Nilsson ---- Brannstrom ---- Navarro -----------------
---- Jansen ------------------- Mortensen ------------------- Kruse ----
----------------- Eskildsen -- Konigstein -- Hedegaard -----------------
------------------------------- Akerhausen --------------------------------

THE SUNRISE BOOK OF ROOKIES, AN INSIDER LOOK AT THE VAPOREONS THAT WILL PLAY THE DI BRADINI CUP 30

CHAPTER ONE

Ever since their installment, around 2013, Nexus quickly became one of the two big football schools inside the borders of the Sunrise. But while wearing the black and white of Project +90, the other big football school, meant pride and hope of the public, being a player of the Nexus never meant a thing. Given that Project +90 would often go far and wide about how they were mining diamonds, Nexus' lack of words seemed to show that they were only a timed threat, that appeared only during the season, but that was about it. No one there would become talented or anything. No one would become a big name. And with that on mind, Nexus decided to release their first proud signals, in hope of showing to the "Kids at that Shiny Stadium" should start to acknowledge that "The Kids near the Graveyard" weren't just another team on their schedule. At all.

Their squad finally had made their first transfers, working together with the Pezcemá Golden Magikarps as some of their names would later join the yellow and black side, namely Krista "Grasshopper" Miller. Krista, originally arriving at the team as an orphan that desired to play football as a way to forget of her past. Quickly accepted by the team, Krista had her speed being her most important asset. As she grabbed one of the shirts of the Nexus team, back when she was first accepted at the development team, the name Grasshopper came to mind. And ever since, she played with that name on her back, normally along the number 2. Either at Tiamare or Pezcemá, Grasshopper was always the quick of the quickest. On other markets, not so much. One thing that always remained, though, was her tough play. The type of thing that made Pezcemá a contesting team at any level.

The Dark'ness twins however, had another story. Considered special by the scouts, and being picked up some time after Miller and her friends joined Pezcemá; both would join the Ninon Beart Reapers without much to discuss. In for the money, the twins were found a while ago when they were left by their mother, a strange figure that seemed to be magical. That wouldn't be a factor on the uprising of the twins, as they always seemed to be polite, calm and acceptable of other people's ways. Their surname, funnily enough, wasn't exactly what should be used as a way to learn how they acted. Mary Sue and Betty Sue are now living fine with the Ninon Beart Reapers.

One thing is certain. The Black Pearls of Zekroni's Town are in to make sure that their team's name finally gets the respect they thrive so much for.

CHAPTER TWO

As the Daineri crowd stands up, yelling for Korriga's offense; a foreigner quickly asks, "What's that thing?". After having to explain that he wasnn't refering to one of those dragon-like things, one of the supporters answers fast, trying to not take his attention out of the game. "It's Ming." Born at Proweric, daughter of two ambassadors; Ming never really spent much time at her home. To be entirely honest, this young anthropomorphical fox was never at the same city for more than two years. While she would always try to compensate at school, Ming wouldn't take long to find out that her education wouldn't help much in the future, thanks to how "broken" it was.

With that on mind, she joined Project +90 after a series of successful try-outs at Flock Nation, joining the team with Mary Lynn, a badger that happened to live near by, but with an actual dream of becoming a football player, instead of Ming's desire to only find a way to survive, doing anything that was, at least, decent. The only problem was that Ming was in fact, good, not much of the same case of Mary Lynn. Lynn would often go near the cutting line by the scouts, but Ming's argument of only staying if her friend stayed, helped out and after a while Mary Lynn was able to push her own weight at the Liu Keng Mau Stadium.

After some years of great service at Project +90, Ming received a special letter by the Project +90 owners. The Project and Korriga had agreed on terms to bring Ming in after they met at the Second Great UICA Transfer Window Event (sponsored by Vulpine Sportif of all people). As she accepted the invite to join the national squad, she could only think that maybe, she was escaping her city and her country by doing all this, representing the Vaporeons and all. But one thing remained the same. "If I'm going to have the title of Proweric's Best Daughter, I better earn it on the international field, since they never went and did that."
Tails... Watch out, you're gonna crash, aaaaah!

Game style: The game who SJG does, is essentially technical, based on the agility of movement of players, using his intelligence for the game for single passes very accurate soil to accumulate players when attacking or using the surprise factor which is use the speed of the players to perform counterattacks that can hurt any team.

In the defense area, they tend to use more physical to play aggressively without damaging the rivals, except that the defenses are of medium height stands that are agile in the aerial game, so it is very difficult to beat thereby, expect always a fair game from this team.

Players like try long-distance shots to beat the goalkeeper, but SJG can have more surprises because it is a team that does not give up that easy.

Specialities: Free kick.

IC: Important Info

Fans. Football hooliganism is a real problem in SJG due to the so extreme and wild behavior of the Guayabalenses when they see a football match, they use flares, fireworks, giant displays, drums, trumpets, bombs and machetes (Machete = Bowie Knife). With riots recently reported in the matches against Paradystopia, the SJGNFA is trying to find a way to protect guest fans. Also, fans will treat the fans of the following nations heatedly, some for having a rivalry like SJG VS Darmen, Gregoryisgodistan and Astograth. However Security topic is seriuously for the safety of visiting fans.

SJG covers 56,312,121 square kilometers and has has an estimated population of 800.000,000. SJG comprises of 16 provinces or Departamentos.

Etymology
The origin of the name cames from the spanish "Campo de guayabas" (Guavas County) (Vulgar: Guayabal) by the abundance of guavas, in 1770 was imposed as the patron of the town Saint Joseph (San José; In spanish) by this reason the name is San José Guayabal (Eng. Saint Joseph Guavas)

History
The village emerged in the mid-eighteenth century, and was known as Guayabal by the abundance of guava. In 1770, according to Pedro Cortés y Larraz (Spanish colonizer), had a population of 593 people "without being subject to any authority."

Indeed, the mayor Mayor Jose Ortiz de la Peña actual surveyor commissioned Don Francisco Jose Vallejo to chart a plan of the new town, which was founded on November 13, 1786 as a people's Guayabal. For 1807 had a population of 1,150 inhabitants.

Under the rule of El Salvador

He was part of the department of San Salvador from 1824-1835, the year he spent in the district of Suchitoto Cuscatlan. For 1859 it had a population of 2,302 inhabitants, which by 1890 had risen to 5,830,000. He received the title of town in 1875, and the city in 2006.

Independence of SJG:

The March 29, 2013, in protest of its 400 million people by the mistreatment of El Salvador, it was decided to wean and the same day, El Salvador accepted independence.

Through time, international litigation, could colonize El Salvador and then arrive to the continent of andarica in Esportiva

Population
According to the latest census (August 2013) was calculated in Guayabal a population of 800 million people, of which are classified into only five ethnic groups, which are:

-Guayabalenses/Guayabalians: 31%
-Salvadorans: 20%
-British: 19%
-Russians: 17%
-Eskimos: 13%

Of which are of different religions:

-Evangelical Christian: 96%
-Catholics: 2%
-Protestants: 2%

Language
The national languages of under Article 8 of the Constitution of the Federation of San Jose Guayabal, adopted in The Honorable People's Parliament are: English, Spanish Guayabalense, Russian, and Eskimo (Most used are: English, Spanish and Guayabalian), encouraging the use of language Guayabalian in:

- All daily activities as the language of communication between citizens of the Federation.

-support their teaching in public schools, private schools and universities in the San Jose Guayabal Federation.

But the SJG citizens talk the following languages:

-Spanish: 30%
-Guayabalian: 30%
-English: 15%
-Eskimo: 13%
-Russian: 12%

But 95% of the population has at least advanced knowledge of five languages, making society a society Guayabalense polyglot, highly acculturated and interesting to interact.

CHORUS
Let us salute, the Motherland, proudly
To be its children, called we can
And let us swear our lives spiritedly
Without rest to its good, consecrate!

Let us salute, the Motherland, proudly
To be its children, called we can
And let us swear our lives spiritedly
Without rest to its good, consecrate!, consecrate!, consegrate!, consegrate!

FIRST VERSE
Of peace enjoyed in perfect happiness
San Jose Guayabal always nobly dreamed.
To achieve this has been Her eternal proposition,
To keep it, Her greatest glory.
With inviolable faith, the path of progress
She strives to follow
To fulfil Her great destiny
And conquer a happy future.
A stern barrier protects Her
Against the clash of vile disloyalty,
Ever since the day when Her soaring Flag,
Wrote Freedom with Its blood

CHORUS
Let us salute, the Motherland, proudly
To be its children, called we can
And let us swear our lives spiritedly
Without rest to its good, consecrate!

Let us salute, the Motherland, proudly
To be its children, called we can
And let us swear our lives spiritedly
Without rest to its good, consecrate!, consecrate!, consegrate!, consegrate!

51st U-21 World Cup: The Most Blasphemous U-21 World Cup Ever
By: Miguel Fuentes

A 40 team format? Show like introductions for U-21 World Cup teams? The Free Republics participating in the U-21 World Cup? Aging mixups for some teams? THE FREE REPUBLICS IN THE FLIPPING TOURNAMENT?!?! It's official, this edition of the 51st U-21 World Cup (A.K.A Di Bradini Cup 30) is the most blasphemous edition of the cup since Taeshan won it all back in DBC 19. I personally am outraged that the hosts, Starblaydia, that decided that they would extend the tournament to 40 teams. I personally believe that it should be the original 32 teams, none of that, "boo who, I missed the deadline!" crap that allowed Felix to get in, I mean, if the FFA was late, that's their fault and they should be punished for it, namely, miss this edition of the tournament.

The second thing I would like to point out is the terrible new trend from the new teams to give their U-21 national teams a musical intro before they give out the roster. This is football, not some crappy wrestling thing that fools from the Free Republics provide on cheap cable TV. Our finest and brightest talents for the future of Football don't need some intro, let their actions on the pitch speak for themselves, that's what I think. Also, what is up with the songs themselves? Waaaaay to much rock involved, its soooooo booooooooring honestly. I want to hear some electronic music, I want to dance, I don't want guitar solos. That belongs back in the 90s, a decade, might I add, is best left forsaken and forgotten.

The third thing I would like to add to this article is why the heck is the Free Republics is here, I mean let's be real here, no one likes a country full of backward hillbillies that care about shooting guns and hating on immigrants. So why are they even allowed in international tournaments? Why can't they be isolationist like the people there want their nation to be and just have local tournaments where they can say they are the "World Champions" after their local Gridiron or Baseball teams beat each other? Things would be so much better if they were just disallowed from international tournaments. Think of it this way, the FFA's late signup would be accepted and we would have a 32 TEAM TOURNAMENT, just like how the founders of the U-21 WC would want to have it.

Lastly, it is mixture of what is happening in some certain national teams. Namely what's going in the Royal Sangti dudes, according to Felixian Champions League and Felixian Football League records their players are 1 to 2 years older than they should be in Sangti times. So what does that mean for this U-21 WC? It means that the Sangtian officials are doing a massive conspiracy attempt to get older players in the team so they can win the U-21 WC, because, you know... They are Sangtian. You can't trust them. Also, kind of topic I know, but it must be mentioned again... I want to reinerate that a Free Republican team in international tournaments is just ridiculous and as mentioned before, it shouldn't happen.

So that is all we got on this first time edition of The Kicker, I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as enjoyed writing it. I hope to come up with a more... How can I say, less, crazy, explanation on my writings in some editorial in The National. But other than that, expect another edition of my little project to appear to cover what happened on week 1 of U-21 football action. Ciao everyone.

NEW SIDEBURN U-21s
Preferred Formation:
4-4-1-1
Style Modifier: 0
Playstyle: Low on possession, but high on pressure, with fast play and short passing. Very physical, quite pacy. This team in particular will use power on the wing to bomb the ball forward at the centre-forward.
Kit Supplier: Cloaker
Nickname: The Magpies

New Sideburn has usually produced a fairly meagre youth team, and this year is no exception - relatively few players who make the first-team at top-division clubs. This is not a team you can look into and clearly define future stars of the game, and if they are, it's certainly not now they're shining. Darryl Boyden, recently appointed assistant manager of the main side, has openly stated that he'll consider himself lucky to make it to the second round.

At least this time, the official nickname of 'Magpies' lends them slightly more dignity, compared to the former nickname. 'Hatchlings'. The Whip, Auburn Bywater, was behind the change, citing 'hatchlings' as an admission of the team as an unfinished product.

First Team

Most RPs I will post a sheet for the next game, but if I don't then this will be the lineup (also assume in use for the first game).

My opponent MAY
Choose my goalscorers (Penrith takes direct free kicks, Drake takes penalties)
RP injuries to my players (maximum one, and I'll determine the exact severity)
Hand out yellow and red cards to my players (maximum one red, unlimited cautions within reason)

My opponent MAY NOT
Godmod scoring events
Godmod injuries
Godmod other events

ImageImageImage
Southfell-based Cloaker (which produces kits for the Sideburnese and Buyanese leagues as well) made a kit to showcase the Sideburnese flag (at the time, only recently changed). It symbolises rebirth as a nation, pride in the flag and the ability of the players to honour the team.
Darryl BOYDEN - 52
Manager

Boyden, whose short and chequered managerial career has been plagued with bad luck and debt, took the job basically because it couldn't possibly be worse than working with Vermillion. He's proven himself in the hot seat so far, and appears to be growing fond of the job - a surprise, to most people who know the rather irritable man.

Sterling GALLANT - 39
Assistant Manager

Darryl Boyden's not entirely certain where they found Gallant. He's never really figured out where assistant managers came from in general. Maybe they were sort of kept in one of the FA's cupboards, until they're useful. Four years since his appointment and nothing. Bloody. Changes. He claims to be going through divorce proceedings. Boyden wonders if he's twigged onto his suspicions, and is just trying for a cover story.

Auburn BYWATER - 27
Whip

Hired by Gethin Ramsey in the 66 Cycle, one of the express terms set out by Ramsey upon his departure from the national side was that Bywater be kept on as whip. It's an unusual role at which the young former journalist excels - putting a bit of stick about until the players stand in line properly.

Goalkeepers
1 - Diandra Ballard (AFC Treason, c) - Age 21
12 - Snowy Brennan (Dubstep Rangers) - Age 21
20 - Gerry Malone (Brinemouth) - Age 20

Diandra Ballard is one of the stars of the team. A Youth Cup finalist with AFC Treason, she's proven exceptional on loan for St. Christopher United, and will start every match as captain. Snowy Brennan is an acrobatic but error-prone goalkeeper who did well, but not well enough for Mainstream Fist last season - both loaned and host team were relegated. Gerry Malone is unremarkable, a substitute for Brinemouth, and is very much the third-choice.

2 - RB - Jake Mortimer (Chenoworth Rovers) - Age 20
3 - CB - Ace Flynn (Chatswood) - Age 21
4 - LB - Kurtis Brace (South Laithland) - Age 21
5 - CB - Brady Monroe (Northern Union, BRE) - Age 21
13 - LB - Bertha Scunthorpe (Bishop) - Age 19
17 - CB - Rook Aldridge (Iron City) - Age 20
19 - RB - Alex Beckett (Coret Hawks) - Age 19
22 - CB - Rachael Green (AFC Treason) - Age 20

A distinctly average defence. Of these, Flynn, Monroe and Green are the only ones starting in a top-flight (Green on loan to Brenecia's ). Flynn is the pick of the group, slowly infiltrating the starting 11 of promoted Chatswood at a young age, and tutelage from his peers is driving his error-prone tendencies away.

6 - CM - Patricia Martyn (Chenoworth Harriers) - Age 21
8 - RM - Kylie Penrith (Flying Jellyfish, FFD, vc) - Age 21
10 - AM - Anna Forsyth (Martella Jazz) - Age 19
11 - LM - Rutger Connacht (South Laithland) - Age 19
14 - DM - Rachael Loxley (Goodfeather FC) - Age 20
16 - DM - Jess Carragher (Southfell United) - Age 20
18 - LM - Violet Clarion (Oxford City, FEL) - Age 21
21 - RM - Dana Kendall (Goodfeather FC) - Age 21
23 - AM - Barry Stratford (Southside Wanderers, BRE) - Age 19

The midfield is the Magpies' strongest area, with Penrith the standout - a high-profile move to Farfadillis made certain she was in the spotlight. Martyn was a fixture for Harriers after promotion, and Loxley was captain of Goodfeather's youth team, impressing in her Premiership appearances - Jess Caragher will be a solid backup. On the left flank, Rutger Connacht gives an equal measure of flair and physicality, while former AFC Treason youth captain Clarion ensures it's the only position on the field with real depth. Forsyth is the weakest point of the midfield, and this assignment might prove over her head - still, she was good for Martella in the First Division, and her ability to link up play will prove invaluable.

7 - CF - Reinhard Drake (Maximum Rovers) - Age 21
9 - CF - Oskar Montag (AFC Integabad) - Age 21
15 - CF - Theodora Kenway (Crossroads Town) - Age 20

Bruce Payne was a high-profile capture for Maximum Rovers, but young Reinhard Drake, brought up from the youth team, netted seven times in twenty appearances to steal the spotlight from him. A solid goalscorer at a high standard of play, and Montag can match that. This leaves Theodora Kenway looking poor by comparison, but she still netted a respectable 14 to finish as top scorer for a mediocre First Division side.
The old ways were best!

Original nation behind Nephara. New Sideburn now symbolises an ideal, rather than a nation.

On Species and Equestrian Hoofball
The Equestrian States is a nation of incredible diversity. When many countries make this kind of statement, they are referring only to racial matters dealing with differences in skin color or culture. But the Equestrian States takes diversity to a whole new level, with dozens of sapient species living alongside each other in harmony. From pegasai to griffons, and humans to dragons, the Equestrian States is among the most diverse nations known to exist. But diversity has also had a unique and intriguing impact on the playing of sports in the Equestrian States, and hoofball is no exception. In the following paragraphs, the natural strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies of each prominent species in the Equestrian States will be explored, offering those unfamiliar with the Equestrian States a chance to explore the wonderful diversity that makes the Equestrian States a great country and gives our beloved national hoofball team a versatility that few others can hope to match.

Coco Bay South College, 3 years ago
Coco Bay North College 0-2 Coco Bay South College

It wasn't fair, not to Tracy, nor her team, nor the boys' team, and sure as hell not to the other team. There was just nothing for her to do on the girls' squad; she outclassed every one of the twenty-one other girls on the pitch, in conditioning, footwork, technique. She'd played four years in the Nocturnals' youth system, two in U-16 as a thirteen and fourteen year-old and two in U-18 as a fifteen and sixteen year-old, and in that time both teams had been promoted from Youth Gold to Youth Green even as the senior team languished in the Red League. Then the Nocturnals had signed some nobody from university football rather than bring her up to the senior team to fill a gap, and she'd left the club, deciding to attend Coco Bay South on the theory that collegiate football might be more progressive.

Wrong.

She'd been told immediately upon arriving at the tryout for the boys's side that she was in the wrong place, and had essentially ignored the coach, falling in with the boys and starting the warmups, hoping that he would see her play and change his mind. No such luck; evidently, he was aware of who she was and what she might try to pull, and had made it clear to the administration that any girl being on his team would result in his resignation. Sport, football in particular, was the only thing that kept South from the bottom of the barrel, and so they'd had to oblige despite misgivings. She'd joined the girls' team, whose coach was plainly apologetic about the quality of the team and had offered to let Tracy help coach, an offer she'd denied; she'd come to South to play, not do someone's job for her.

Instead, she'd asked to be moved from striker to sweeper, figuring that getting experience at a different position was the way to make the most of a bad situation. It had backfired; her footwork and field vision made her an even better sweeper, and she was still expected to score all the goals. Sometimes she obliged, but mostly she just played her position and kept the other team away long enough that the ball could wander into the other net. And now they'd won the biggest game of the year in a blowout that she imagined had not been fun to watch. It wasn't fair.

Win|Draw|Loss
NA Hops win opener and start off very well in the Di Bradini Cup. They managed to notch three goals and keep a clean sheet versus the side from Kinitaria. Droimpol and Schytaing stayed even on points in this match as they each had a goal and an assist; the other goal came from Loostin. Pheir Droimpol’s goal came in the twenty third minute after a free kick was awarded to the NA Hops just outside the eighteen yard box, and just to the left of center field. Droimpol hit a curling precisely placed shot to the upper left ninety to which the Kinitarian keeper had no chance at. The remainder of the first half stayed at that 1-0 score. Then just after half time in the fifty first minute the ball got played forward from RB Theophil Raske up into the path of Eisa Loostin, Loostin then played the ball inside to Droimpol who played a perfect one time through ball into the sprinting path of Schytaing. Schytaing took one touch just inside the box and then let his shot rip. His shot, a low knuckle, swerved a bit before hitting the finger tips of the keeper and then continued on its path into the back of the old onion bag. Seeming exhausted the Kinitarian side started to sit back a bit after this goal and possession was completely in HopNations favor. The final goal came in the eighty second minute as Loostin carried the ball forward from just left of the center circle after a NA Hops goal kick. He beat one defender and then passed to Schytaing, who had his back to the goal and a defender right with him. With no other choice he laid the ball off to his right as Loostin came forward with a supporting run. Loostin struck the ball with his first touch and it rocketed towards the goal from twenty six yards out. The keeper dove to his right and looked to have the side covered, but just before the ball reached him it deflected off the hip of his defender and went just over his out stretched arms and into the back of the net. Next up for the NA Hops is the side from Gloriax, it looks like they will be playing in the 4-4-2 and positioned in a somewhat defensive fashion. Hopefully the NA Hops can stay on form and maintain a perfect record, even though it is still very early in the cups group stage. Gloriax had a bye and thus has no results to comment on at this time.

In other news, back in HopNation there has been a call to form a National Hockey Team. Not certain what that’s all about but with the wide spread support of the sport it’s no wonder something like this is happening. The HFL has also yet to reveal anything relating to its poll results, though the data was released nothing more has been done. With regards to the hockey team, I see this as a good expansion of the HHL (HopNation Hockey League) and the youth leagues will surely be excited to be able to watch even more games, especially since the HCL is currently on break after the senior squad bowed out of World Cup Qualifications. They are scheduled to get the HCL feeder leagues in action sometime after the conclusion of this Di Bradini Cup, but a date has yet to be established. Though it is typical for them to start in late February with the Bondporter Vereinigung league followed shortly by the Hefebayern Liga, then finally both the Liga de Copperwies and Konföderation Dunklevine leagues look set to get underway at the end of March. By then many of the members of the NA Hops will be headed home, hopefully to new contracts, but that will all depend on how things pan out in the cup matches. As for the Di Bradini Cup, it seems there is already some distaste circling around a few of the teams involved. One being the Free Republics a team with a rather nice DBC record, but they are claiming a group of death status, a rather odd claim considering we haven’t seen any rankings involving the U-21 squads. Perhaps they are claiming this group of death in part because they are pitted against that Gregoryisgodistan team, who’s senior squad and Nation in general is known for some hi-jinx and even killing players, fans, and officials if things don’t go according to their plan. One never really knows what you’ll get from a junior squad as rosters frequently change, in part due to age restrictions and former players on those so called good teams moving out of eligibility and into more established rolls on senior squads. It seems other nations have a thing for the Free Republics as well, as they seem to be mentioned many times when scanning the wires to get an idea of the competition. One Nation even squabbled about other teams music selection, rather odd and petty if you ask me, perhaps that Nation would prefer this music. As for HopNation and all this banter as no one seems to give a rat’s ass about any other nation, at least not yet, they simply seem to be eager to play the game and concern themselves not with any of the squabbles that seem to be out there. Many sides are coming from storied Nations, Nations with good sporting and Football (no I don’t mean that damn Handball) pasts, so it will be interesting to see how each group plays out as more rosters seem to be rolling in and we are getting a better feel for the competition that is out there.

Enough of this already, match preview time.

Match Day 2 Prediction
Image NA Hops 2-1 Image Gloriax - at Albion Arena in Hersch
NA Hops will come out victorious in their second match of the group stage. They will have the good fortune of a prior game to calm nerves, whereas Gloriax had a bye and the youths will have a few to many butterflies keeping them from top form. It will be close until late in the game when HopNation gets the game winner to send them to 2-0 and hopefully seats them at the top of Group H.
Mytannion 1-0 Kinitaria – at Foundation Road in Jhanna
The other match in Group H is between the two teams that suffered Match Day One loses, both by a score of 0-3. Each side will be fighting to get to that 1-1 mark, but Mytannion will come out on top sending Kinitaria to the bottom of the group with two loses.
Image San Jose Guayabal - Bye
The final team in Group H has a buy after winning on Match Day One 3-0 over Mytannion.

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:

Choose my goalscorers – YES
Godmod scoring events – YES
RP injuries to my players – YES
Godmod injuries to my players – YES (But only how the injury happens, NOT the extent of the injury)
Hand out yellow cards to my players – YES
Hand out red cards to my players – YES
Godmod other events – YES, provided you keep events within the realms of realism, so no deaths etc. If I have to RP one of my goals as coming off a goose in mid-air or anything else I deem ridiculous I will eat your fucking soul. Generic last minute supergoals from 500 yards/goalkeepers scoring hat-tricks will be given the same distasteful reaction. In fact, I should probably just say ‘fuck you’ in advance. Suck it world!

Penningworth, Starblaydia

Several hours after the Free Republics had defeated Super-Llamaland on a late goal by Paul Anisimov, most of the Republican U-21 team were in Bernard Lukic's room at the hotel, where they were watching the RWC Network on the RWC app on their Saints. The Republican Wrestling Conglomerate's new network included their entire library of historical footage, including footage from the competitors that Mr. Sagese had run out of business with his cutthroat tactics. However, that was not the main selling point for the RWC Network. Instead, that would be the pay-per-views, which were available to be streamed live over the Network and a 6 month subscription cost the same as a monthly pay-per-view. Even the TV programs were available on the Network, albeit on a 24 hour delay, to keep the network executives happy. The RWC no longer cared about keeping the PPV providers happy, since the PPV providers took 80% of the money from the PPV buys anyway and since more people had subscribed to the network in its first month than had bought the typical pay-per-view event. The RWC was now set to make record profits this year, enabling Mr. Sagese to accelerate his ambitious plans to expand internationally.

At this particular moment, the Republican U-21s were watching the latest pay-per-view event, where the "Kyle Bolton on a Pole" match was scheduled to be held. Bolton was the famous captain of the main Republican National Team and the face of Rule Theriault's program. Bolton had spent a year as the World's Most Wanted Man after he attempted to protect a teammate from being prosecuted for a "crime" that few in the Free Republics even considered a "crime" in the first place. Yet, even after all of that, Kyle Bolton was not afraid to inject himself into a controversial storyline involving Nova Hellstrom and Lucia, former best friends who had been tearing each other apart for months on RWC programming in an all-out war for the RWC Women's Championship. It had all started when Kyle Bolton was at ringside for a show and Lucia decided to invite him into the ring. It all started when Lucia came out to the ring and looked straight at Kyle Bolton.

Lucia - Kyle, would you please come into the ring. I have something that I want to tell you.

Kyle Bolton hesitated before climbing over the rail and through the ropes into the ring, a ring that was still dripping with blood from a previous match on that night, something which wasn't unusual in an RWC ring.

Lucia - Kyle, I've said it many times, but I want to say it again to your face and in front of the entire world. Kyle, you can rape me any time you want to!

Suddenly, Nova Hellstrom's music went off and the former Sporting World reporter turned major RWC draw came out to the ramp carrying a microphone. The ever-controversial Nova Hellstrom began to speak:

Nova Hellstrom - Lucia, you've got it all wrong. Kyle doesn't want to rape you because you're nothing more than a cheap half-Thaler **!

Lucia responded calmly to her former friend's comments, even though she was clearly furious.

Lucia - Nova, why are you always so jealous of me? You're a beautiful and talented woman and one of the toughest competitors I have ever stepped in the ring with, but for some reason you just can't get over the fact that I am every bit your equal. You know what? You're just a manipulate self-centered ***** who used me for several years!

Nova Hellstrom - Yes, you may have been in this business before me Lucia, but you don't have even half the talent that I do. You're like one of those Esportivans that are always talking about how talented they are when they're really just a bunch of irrelevant minnows!

That comment got the crowd laughing. Cheap shots at Esportiva always got a reaction out of a Republican crowd.

Nova Hellstrom - As for you Kyle, I know that I am the only woman you want, so I'll tell you what: If you will spurn Lucia's pathetic attempts to win your love, I'll let you rape me any time you want.

Lucia ran out of the ring and rushed up the ramp toward Nova, but security came out and quickly separated them. Nonetheless, the seeds for their next major match were planted. Several weeks later, Mr. Sagese came out to make an announcement as Lucia and Nova were separated by security once again:

Mr. Abelino Sagese - Lucia, Nova, I've had enough of this. If you 2 want to fight each other so much, you'll be able to do just that - at Day of Reckoning. At my upcoming pay-per-view event, the first to be available on the RWC Network, its going to be Lucia versus Nova Hellstrom and since the both of you want to fight over Kyle Bolton so much, he has graciously agreed to the stipulation for this match. Its going to be a Kyle Bolton on a Pole Match. Kyle Bolton will be tied to a pole and locked onto that poll. The winner of the match will be whoever can climb a ladder, obtain the key to that lock, unlock the lock and untie Kyle Bolton from that pole. Since both of you want Kyle to "rape you any time he wants to," here's what we're gonna do: Kyle Bolton can "rape" the winner of this match anytime he wants to and however he wants to. But that's not all. Lucia, we're also going to put your RWC Women's Championship on the line. The winner of this match will not only get the man, but she will also get the gold. Good luck to both of you ladies and may the best woman win.

After recapping the events leading up to this latest match between the former best friends, the event resumed with the entrance of both ladies into the Nicholls Enterprises Arena in Baseton. Kyle Bolton was already on the pole and the key was already hanging well above the ring, where it could only be reached via ladder. Since there was no Figure Eight match on tonight's card, which was unusual for an RWC pay per view event, the Figure Eight structure was not an option to obtain the key. Regardless, the 2 ladies made their way into the ring entering, as usual at a pay per view, from entrance ramps on opposite sides of the arena. As you would expect, Lucia came out of the "good girl" entrance while Nova came out of the "bad girl" entrance. Once they had both entered the ring, the ring announcer introduced them and explained the rules of the match, as usual at an RWC pay per view.

The match itself turned out to be extremely physical. Due to the nature of the rules, neither lady risked going for the key early. If they had obtained the key before their opponent was sufficiently beaten down, their opponent would just knock the key out of their hands before they could unlock and untie Kyle Bolton and the referees would just put the key back up above the ring and retie/relock Kyle Bolton as needed. Other than that, there were no rules in the match, a fact that both women would take advantage of as the match went on. When it became clear that neither lady would wear down the other without the use of weapons, Nova Hellstrom took advantage of an opportunity after landing a dropkick on her opponent by going out of the ring and obtaining a frying pan from underneath the ring. Returning to the ring, she attempted to hit Lucia with the frying pan, but Lucia saw it coming and blocked it, obtaining possession of the frying pan. Lucia slammed the pan against her former best friend's head, sending the former Sporting World journalist to the ground. Lucia decided that Nova wasn't worn down enough, so she wrapped her legs around Nova's throat, trying to choke out her former friend. After 30 seconds or so, it appeared that Nova was out cold and Lucia began to climb the ladder to obtain the key. Unfortunately, for Lucia, Nova had been faking unconsciousness. While her opponent set up a ladder and climbed all the way to the top, Nova rolled herself closer to the ladder and, with a push, knocked the ladder over, sending Lucia flying into the ropes.

Nova made her way to her feet, picked up the ladder and began slamming it into Lucia's legs over and over again. The announcer pointed out that Nova was working the legs in order to slow her opponent down. Eventually, Nova rolled her opponent out of the ring and began climbing the ladder. As Nova made her way up the ladder and almost had the key, Lucia made it to her feet, climbed onto the side of the ring, leaped onto the ropes and landed a dropkick on the ladder, sending her opponent flying to the ground, empty-handed. However, Lucia would feel the effects of all those blows to her legs, as she was slow making it back to her feet. Both ladies made it to their feet at the same time and rolled out of the ring on opposite sides to look for a weapon. Nova obtained a broom while Lucia acquired a trash can. They both returned to the ring and attempted to use their newly obtained weapon on their opponent. The broom busted the trash can, which soon fell out of Lucia's hands. Nova took another swing with the broom and knocked out her opponent. Nova rolled her out of the ring and then left the ring. Nova removed the padding from the floor, picked Lucia up and put her into piledriver position. Nova delivered a piledriver to the exposed concrete floor and rolled Lucia underneath the ring. Making her way back into the ring, Nova Hellstrom climbed the ladder, obtained the key and unlocked Kyle Bolton. At that moment, Lucia re-emerged from underneath the ring, but before Lucia even made it back into the ring, Nova Hellstrom had already untied Kyle Bolton, winning the match, the RWC Women's Championship and the right to be raped by Kyle Bolton any time he wants. It had been a vicious battle, but Nova Hellstrom was once again the Queen of the RWC. Following the match, Kyle Bolton grabbed Nova Hellstrom and kissed her in front of a sold-out crowd at Nicholls Enterprises Arena. As they made their way to the back, Lucia had been left empty-handed, bloodied and beaten.

Later on in the show, Mr. Sagese came out to the ring to announce the location of this year's WrestleCade. Several rumors had been circulating on the Internet rumor sites, including a rumor that WrestleCade would be held outside of the Free Republics for the first time. Once the crowd quieted down, Mr. Sagese made his announcement.

Mr. Sagese - First of all, I want to thank everybody in attendance for coming out to tonight's show and I want to thank everybody who bought the RWC Network for making tonight's event and the RWC Network the massive successes that they are. However, that is not the main reason why I am out here tonight. As you know, WrestleCade is a special night that only happens once a year. Given how special a night it is and the fact that I want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to see the Grandest Event in all of Sports and Entertainment live and in-person, this year's WrestleCade will be held in 5 different cities, each of which will get 3 hours of the exciting action that only the RWC can provide. Yes, WrestleCade is a 15-hour event in 5 cities and each city's card will be headlined by a 60-minute Ironman Match for an RWC Championship. The 5 cities will be Republica, Petrograd, Tarad in Irad, Tohoko and last, but certainly not least, this great city of Baseton.

That drew a huge reaction from the crowd. Mr. Sagese waited for them to quiet down before continuing.

Mr. Sagese - Each of these events will be held in a stadium. I can confirm that Gem of the Oceans Stadium, Nicholls Enterprises Stadium, the Soccer Palace, the Tohoko Dome and the Iradian National Stadium will be co-hosting this year's edition of WrestleCade. I hope you enjoy the show, as the RWC's biggest year ever gets even bigger and I hope you enjoy all of the special attractions we have in store for you on the biggest day of the year in entertainment.

This announcement shocked the Republican U-21 players, watching the event in Starblaydia. Mr. Abelino Milanesi Sagese was even more ambitious than anybody had imagined.

So, this start like one of these jokes where three people walk into a bar. If by three people you mean the entire starting 11 of Huelandia, and by walk you mean sit, and by into a bar you mean in front of a TV to play video games. In this case, they're playing the official UICA game - albeit a hacked version with all the Heritage Cup leagues. It was clearly made by Huelandese, as the grating miami-beat song in the background indicates. Since there's not enough controllers for everyone, they decide on the classic "you lose, next one in line" scheme. Carniça and Nojapa - who got the nickname after saying "NO JAPA!" too many times to people who didn't understand he is Chinese - formed a team, as did the twins Tetra and Treta. The only one out of a team was Afonsão, as Zé Canalha hung out with Pedrinho and told him there was no room for a third player.

Rubinho: "Who's in the danger zone!"
Tetra: "Wow, these Sunrisian teams are way overpowered."
Arnaldo: "Dibs on Korriga!"
Ayrton: "Everyone knows why you want Korriga, you're gonna pass the ball to Liu Keng Mau because he's impossible to tackle"
Treta: "Let's pick Atlético Mallandro, I want to play as myself!"
Tetra: "Done!"
Rubinho: "The madness is runnin' wild!"
Carniça: "Let's get FC Modaguesque! Look at these stats, I know they won two Heritages in a row, but this is ridiculous"
Nojapa: "...(mutters something in Chinese, picks Monsteropolis Skulls instead)"
Pedrinho: "Lylat Starfox or FC Modaguesque? Choices, choices."
Nojapa: "..."
Zé Canalha: "We could make a tournament, and fill the spaces with some CPU teams... like, fourth division from Capivara or something from Matthewsiania"
Rubinho: "Let's get this thing started! History beckons the Macho Retado!"
Norberto Marlos: "So many emotions... heh, heh, heh"

And thus, the game started. It was clear, however, that even though he didn't understand the menus or the controls, Nojapa was clearly the best player out of the bunch. His Skulls beat Atlético Mallandro 6-0, then FC Modaguesque 4-1, then Korriga by a whopping 13-4 (all four goals by Liu Keng Mau, natch). However, he met his match in Ayrton Schmidt, who happens to be spectacularly good in every game but football. The two went blow for blow in a Skulls vs. Starfox match, which ended in a 3-3 draw. Then they picked national teams for a rematch, which happened to go Dainer vs. Northern Sunrise Islands (with an hypothetical Daineri team, as they don't have a national squad for the moment). The entire first half went 2-1, with Negolossauro Rex holding an edge for Ayrton's NSI... and then in the second half Nojapa scored six unanswered goals with Astrobildo to clinch the victory at 7-2.

"It's over! It's over! It's Tetra! It's Tetra! Hueland is Tetra Capião do Mundo!"

First international victory for Hueland, ohh yeah. Tetra scored twice, with a goal from Macho Retado in between. Celebrations spilled out into the streets, and ended up with countless public facilities destroyed, several reports of fights breaking out, and dozens of Huelandese arrested and deported. It's okay, many more will come to see the next matches.

Hueland described seriously: a former empire of Westernized Amazonian jungle tribes with a powerful military but waning political influence.
Actual story: They were found by the Portuguese and promptly ate them, and following their belief in absorbing the essence of people they ate, started conquering/colonizing the neigboring nations.
In a nutshell: HUEHEUHUHAUEUEAHUEAUHEAHUEAUHE

Union de Sud and Carnival (Northern Sunrise Islands)

The Di Bradini Cup, or otherwise the Under-21 World Cup, has ever been an interesting challenge for all those involved. Unlike the senior competitions with ranks and the like, there is no such system for the DBC, but given that these are nothing but youngsters who are continuously in and out of the system, such is to be expected. What you get then is a tournament where anything and everything is possible, from the easiest group imaginable, to the proverbial Group of Death. And so it seems that the Young Wanderers have managed to avoid such a disastrous group, unlike the senior side did in the qualifiers for World Cup 67. Their group, a group of five in this forty team edition, a special format for the typical thirty-two team tournament, making it two tournaments in a row where the Pasarga national teams have seen unusual formats, with the three team groups of the Cup of Harmony and the disappointing Final still fresh on Pasargan minds.

However not all has started well for the side, as they opened up their group play with a very disappointing nil nil result with Chiata, a side not expected to make it out of the group. It has to be another frustrating moment for those in charge of the PFA, after such a string of set backs lately, the failure to qualify for the World Cup and then the failure to win the Cup of Harmony despite being the highest ranked side in the competition. Add that in with the dissolution of the Liga de Fuego, and you can bet your bottom dollar that there have been more than a few headaches for the powers that be in the PFA.

However the team is a bit fortunate that they have their bye in the group play in the upcoming matchday, to try and figure out just where things are going wrong. This is not the same brain trust that won the tournament twelve years ago and had failed to get the paperwork sent in in time to even make the last edition. So perhaps a change at the top is going to be a necessary step to take. However, with the uncertainty at the senior level position already, it would cause quite a ruckus if both of the team's managerial slots were left open, especially during what most had dubbed the golden age of Pasargan football.

Perhaps the selection of the players should be looked at instead, as the DBC squad typically consists of talented youngsters, but many of those who are as of yet unattached to clubs. While by the end of the tournament most of the players have usually found themselves with a contract from some club, abroad or domestic, they have yet to experience the day in and day out routine of professional football. Compare that to how other nations pick players that are already starters or at least contributing members to senior sides and the problem may have just been found out.

All that said, the side should be able to rebound nicely if they can get their minds back to the task at hand after taking Chiata so lightly to begin the group. The mistakes that plagued the senior side can not be allowed to take root at the youth level and I have enough faith in the manager and the assistant to get the lads and lasses up for the task. It is their future they are playing for after all, their future both domestically and for the hopes of making it to the full senior team. That incentive is sure to spark the side right into gear and get them playing up to their full potential once more.

"Well, how the hell is this gonna work? I know you wanted a chance at the ball, but how the hell could I have denied that opportunity? Just be glad that team from Ceni didn't get a chance to retaliate." That was the voice of Serafina Raskob, after scoring the game winning goal in the waning minutes of stoppage time. "I know you've scored a couple of goals back when we were in high school, but that was the past! You've gotta give me a chance to score, and whatnot. It isn't about you, babe."

"Look, I'm happy that you got to score, it delighted me. I just feel, that every time that I happened to be wide open, I wasn't noticed, instead they passed it to either you or Henry. Can we let the guys know that I'm open most of the time, and if not, then I'll try to become open? Can you do that, Sera?" Serafina's boyfriend, and right wing Michel Hollarde said. "I mean, don't get me wrong, there's absolutely no problem with Henry, I think he's a fantastic player. It's just that I haven't touched the ball as often that I would have wanted to."

"Hold it, I heard my name, so what's tripping here?" Henry Vilhjalmsson asked, popping into the lockers, "Michel, Sera, what's going on here? Are you two bickering again?" Henry would be giggling at his joke here. "I'm just teasing you guys. If you guys need any help, come talk to me." Henry then walked straight out of the locker, finishing his business there. "See! He isn't that bad of a guy, he's really charming too. Now please, Michel. Calm down." Serafina told her boyfriend.

Right as Michel was about to say something, he received a message from their coach, Krista van Ostermann.

van Ostermann: Hurry the hell up! You two lovebirds are keeping us waiting. Or else, you're gonna have to find a different way over to Farça!

"You think we should head on our way?" Micehl asked Serafina. "We probably should," Serafina told Michel, "Because I really want to play in our upcoming match against Svengarda!" Michel retorted Serafina, by telling her "You? Wanting to play them? Huge joke, run for your lives, and get scared because they are a really fantastic team. It doesn't matter now, we should actually start walking!"

The duo finally arrived on the hustling bus, much to the anger of van Ostermann. "What the hell were you two doing inside? I expected you to be back on the bus as soon as possible. Now come the hell on. Take a seat, we're getting ready to drive."

OOC: Hooligan brawl was planned with Mytannion.

THE GUAYABALIAN

Little Hurricanes did a splendid start with a 3-0 victory against Mytannion, hooligan fight leave 22 people in intensive cares.

Yesterday the National Team of San Jose Guayabal had a splendid debut in the Di Bradini Cup 30, defeating the national team of Mytannion for a very promising 3-0, which gives them a good mood boost to the players of "Selecta SJG" in their participation in the so well-known Starblaydia.

The match was played at the Albion Arena in the city of Hersch, in Starblaydia, a nation who's very highlighted by winning five World Cups, San Jose Guayabal was ready with his talents, the strategy used was the new and quite offensive 3-1-3-3, that could use several forwards to get in trouble for the Mytannar defence, who played in a very balanced way, but giving his offensive sector, which is very powerful and it is known that could cause a lot of harm to us, but it was a dreamy night for the defense, who totally silenced a powerful offense like the Mytannar.

The game started at approximately 9:30 PM (local time) , in a temperate climate of about 25 ° C , with little wind , perfect for a good night's football game between two teams playing very colorful way , with began Mytannion ball skills , playing as know, totally offensive way , with long distance shots or trick plays , which were contained by the quick action of Daniel Côçô and James Moreira, who had a good night to stop the offensive power of the opponent , who had the first great chance to score after 7 minutes, but his shot cleared by Quintanilla in a providential way near the left bottom corner .

After that, the star of the national team, Árbol Saucedo began forging a harbinger of things to come later, by slamming the bar a powerful free kick that bounced off the head of Nicolás Jarvís , who scored the 1-0 , 17 minutes , in a strange way , the San Jose Guayabal was put ahead in the game , but right after, Árbol Saucedo made the 2-0 in the 18th minute through a lethal counterattack ended by beating the goalkeeper of Mytannion with a volley hooked to step down from the goalkeeper, in a surprising way , San Jose Guayabal was placed on the front with two goals in just one minute difference between them.

Already with the 2-0 in his favor, Alfonso Maradiaga urged his players to play cautiously and carefully in the defense, because the famous saying " The 2-0 score is the easiest to overcome," players attended the call and the team became in a 5-3-2, and more defensive tendency and defend the scoring, before a Mytannion team that never gave up , even though his chances always vanished by the action Saulme or Pantoja and who helped in the defense Moreira , leaving front , Jarvis and Saucedo who tried expand the score but failed, so the party came into halftime with the score 2-0 in favor of SJG .

Maradiaga decided to make three substitutions before the start of the second half came : Ábrego, Haedo and Terrazas, instead of Salume, Núñez and Mô and SJG returned to the 3-1-3-3 with a little more offensive force that first time, they accomplished with the score 3-0 after 56 minutes , by Saucedo , who ratified as a future player of the Senior NT , due to its agility in the air game , then scored with a strong header that beat goalkeeper of Mytannion and thus sealed the game for San Jose Guayabal , who won the first three points of the tournament, and prepare for their day of rest and then play against Kinitaria , another national team of great danger for our defense.
Sad news

In sad and unfortunate news, 25 hooligans entered the hospital intensive care Hersch due to a massive fight between hooligans of San Jose Guayabal and Mytannion, leaving the stadium.

SJG fans came out to meet the hooligans Mytannion to mock them, which they threw flares and severely burned 10 people, including one child who is in critical health condition due to burns on 90% of his body, while Mytannars threw flares in response to attack and beatings 18 people SJG, of which 15 are in critical condition and three have damage to their genitals because of the beatings, according to rumors, the security will become strictest provide so familiar and safe environment.

THE SUNRISE BOOK OF ROOKIES, AN INSIDER LOOK AT THE VAPOREONS THAT WILL PLAY THE DI BRADINI CUP 30

CHAPTER THREE

Yunpaqui Sarracena's life seemed to say it before hand what exactly was going to happen with his life, except that the predictions were... a bit far from the field where Sarracena was. The youngest son of five brothers and seven sisters, Yunpaqui seemed to have his way going the same direction of his father, the legendary Sunricean Warrior and his mother, Miss Scarlet, joining professional wrestling, same with his brothers and sisters. While Gabin Sarracena would later become Gavin Sankis, the Sunricean Killer of the Sunrise Wrestling Federation and the other members of the family would end up picking up works related to the business or in the developmental leagues, Yunpaqui decided to be the black sheep and try-out for the Project +90.

Even at the shiny Liu Keng Mau stadium, Yunpaqui had to try and avoid falling on the same concept of his brother's character. While the Sunricean Killer became a notorious name inside the Arceusian Kingdom with a Hardcore-style moveset, Yunpaqui became a player whose acceptance of the rules was the major point. A Fair Play donned rookie emerged at Project +90 and later on left for New Sideburn, where he'd represent Sabrefell Athletic.

Whether the move was good, he didn't exactly knew, but he was certain that the Sunricean Regulator would finally become a household name, instead of another jobber.

CHAPTER FOUR

While it must be amusing to learn a bit about Daineri culture, one of the best reasons to take a bit of your time to travel to Emirates of Futurnia, aside from enjoying the acclaimed beverage products at Barra e Janeiro's "Heights" section at cities like Petrópolis or just to have fun at one of those samba schools at Andarahy. And from that land, Slein Draagyn arrived. While a bit high on his own mind, Babylon Club decided to give him a chance. The foreigner quickly found out he wasn't the best on the business after some rough seasons, until Babylon found luck and poke up the title out of nowhere.

After that, Draagyn joined the Under-15 squad of the Vaporeons for the sixth Under-15 World Cup and... things couldn't have gone better as he, together with players like Kaene and Jean Molineaux, rose the trophy, the second Under-15 title of the Vaporeons. And now, he's here, to lend his experience of winning youth level stuff to a squad that already include other under-15 winners. So... who's in the mood for the Wall?

As the ball passed near Alcouin, she couldn't help but feel that that was the moment for her to shine once again. All she had to do was a Quick Attack to head the ball to the goal... or even better, a small Water Gun from her left foot to boost the power of the ball... the referee wouldn't notice, the crowd would be surprised by the unexpected goal and everyone would walk away happy. But instead, lost on thought, she let the ball roll by her and arrive at Cervantes' feet, who unceremoniously kicked the ball to the back of the net, scoring the sole goal of the match against Mizuyuki.

As Cervantes went celebrate near the stands of the Jhanna City Recreational Ground, Alcouin sat on the pitch, looking at her own hands. How could she not pull another of those tricks. Everything she pulled at the Junior League was left without much criticism and no one seemed to have a trouble whenever a bath of bubbles suddenly appeared. But now, she felt like she had to come clean with it. Cleese walked near her, in a mix of calm and angered, given how the goal came. "Hannah, I need to ask to you... WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? YOU ALMOST LOST OUR BEST CHANCE IN THE ENTIRE GAME!"

Alcouin was mute. Granted how she spent the entire trip bragging about her own records, you'd be impressed that people with bigger accolades didn't care that much about it. But they cared about one thing, peace and quiet... Something that wasn't helped by Alcouin's bragging of her Under-15 World Cup title and a Juniors Trophy back in the day. After she signed with the San Jose Sharks, the best player to ever come out of Ajéán was now a pile of stubbornness. Cleese, her partner from that World Cup title was the sole one to have a bit of patience, since she was already used to Alcouin's style; but the rest of the players seemed to already have had enough of her. Ranging from Passive-Agressive players like the Dark'ness Sisters to the more heated players like Ke'keyshah, the Half-Vaporeon already pissed almost the entire team, but missing a goal like that was enough for them to get angrier. Thankfully, the match ended with one goal up for the Vaporeons, a good way to start the title defense at the Di Bradini Cup.

51st U-21 World Cup: We Lose The Campionato Bidding Vote And We Lose Our First Match In The DBC. BLASPHAMY I SAY!
By: Miguel Fuentes

So Felix (t)rolls in with fellow co-hosts New Sideburn in our bid to host the next CE, possibly the most irrelevant tournament in the history of sports according to those hillbillies in the supposed, "Free" Republics. We showed out our hearts out to the Esportivan voters that chopse who would host the tournament only to let it see get crushed after losing the vote to Buyan, the nation of almost hosting almost big things in the multiverse and Sangti... Those Royals you can't trust since, forever. The other big story on this edition of The Kicker is the fact that we lost our first DBC match, something that probably will attract the attention of the FFA heads, maybe, I'm not sure, I am no expert in football and I don't have any sources in the FFA (that's a huge lie, I am just too lazy to give you the important details), so I can't help you football news hungry folks.

So about that vote... Yeah, for the FFA this must really hurt, I mean... You lost to the almosters and the... Uh, the name changers. But lets give the other guys credit as they put out a fantastic bid that included, free bananas to Slembanana, improved intros for nations like Northern Sunrise Islands and San Jose Guayabal, free anime for life for Kazamatsuri and more flags for those Licen guys (Licens love flags). Seriously, what did Felix have to offer? Only boooooooring things such as safety, somewhat relative political stability, drugs (of all varieties), and... Lots of languages. Or something like that. Now that I am on the subject, I wonder what New Sideburn had to offer... Maybe grit, eagles and... Grit. Oh and grits, I really hoped they offered grits. Either way, nothing could stop the bid Sangti and Buyan had to offer and for that we (reluctantly) say, congrats!

Moving on... We have our loss, our first DBC loss in fact. Our first loss since Ko-oren back in that previous DBC we had that one time in the past. The lost probably puts Aureliano Sanna in a bad position. Cause, loses equal firings. I think. But we have to give the Mango Gators some credit here, they played like any Mango Gator should play, fantastically well by scaring the crap out of Phoenixes with mangos and huge teeth. The only good news is that we had one goal scorer and Sabrina Köhler scored Felix's only goal in the 18th minute off the well timed pass from Luca Esser. That pass apparently went through three mangos and a pair of teeth to get to Köhler's feet, amazing. So great stuff there from Felix. Other than the loss of course. That in itself sucked a lot.

Well that's all I got to say/"report" for this issue of The Kicker, I really hope you enjoyed reading it. Also if you haven't heard of it from Twit-Ter, I have decided to back out from the guest-editorial for The National. I felt like I don't need to explain myself, I can sound ridiculous and I don't need to say why I sound that way, all you need to know is that I am probably on the influence while writing this. But hey, somehow this paper sells and pays those bills for my possible alcohol/drug addictiona. So it's all good. Anywho, that's all in my very weird head of mine for now, until next time! And good luck to "second place nancy" Felix and to anyone that remotely likes my country of origin.

Beatrice Parker, VSA Chairwoman, sat out on a mission. To broadcast the stories of U21 team members. She wanted to establIsh a "face" for the image of "Vettreran Soccer" and "PUSH itself. She wanted to show who the players were. She started off with Wendy Moore, a girl whose story had already played out in Vettrera Media. A month after the exclusion of the U15 Cup, Moore (14 at the time) went drinking for the first time in her life. She was underage, as Vettrera's legal age is at least 17 (depending on the province). There, she got extremely intoxicated, and went home with a guy. She says she was unaware of what was going on, and that she was raped. However, the details of her case got extremely muddled, making it hard to believe her (though the man was eventually convicted). Exactly how intoxicated she was, if she didn't consent, or if she could even consent were all thrown in to question. But for the first time ever, Wendy Moore speaks out, and prepares to return to the limelight as a member of the U21 Squad.

According to Wendy Moore
It was hard, ya know. Moving on. I mean, I never thought that something like this. Something like this....could happen to me.
It wasn't like I didn't know it was stupid, of course it was. It was poor judgement on my part. 100%. It was a mistake that I made.
It was a lapse in good judgement that I had. I know it was wrong, and I know it was illegal, but at the same time I don't see how
I can really blame myself. I mean I do blame myself, well sometimes. But I usually blame him. I know it was my mistake but it
was HIS crime. I may have broken the law, but he broke me. He did something so much worse than what I did. I was a stupid
kid, being a stupid kid. He was a pervert praying on some stupid girl. Oh god...I just, I just can't. I didn't play soccer for months
after the incident. I almost didn't even try to qualify for the DBC. I was sad, I was depressed, I was upset...

I mean, how would you feel? Having to live with the guilt, the stigma, the aftermath. My life stopped that night. And whether
I should have to take the blame for that is irrelevant at the day's end. I live with the struggle. He may be in the jail cell and
I may be in the limelight, but I'm still in my own prison. I'm closed off from the world. I'm detached from my teammates. I'M EMOTIONALLY unavailable. I'm MENTALLY not present. I just am not who I was before. My innocence is gone. My virginity is gone. My peace of mind is nowhere to be found. I still wake up in cold sweats, sometimes screaming, sometimes crying, sometimes in complete silence. I can still feel him.

Oh sure, people around me don't get it. They say I should move on. They say 99% would love to be in my position.
A professional athlete that gets to compete on the World Stage, getting money, endorsements, anything my heart
desires. Most girls would sleep with any guy to be in my position. They'll happily take the good with the bad.
But the problem is that I didn't ask to sleep with him. I didn't want to be in that position. I'm not most girls,
I'd give up everything that I have today, I'd give up on soccer. I'd go back to being "No Name Wendy Moore"
from suburban Aquis, MISS FUCKING INVISIBLE, if it meant that I could have my life back. That trial killed
me. That trial killed me from the inside. EVERYONE knew what had happened to me. The entire nation
knew, yet I wasn't allowed to comment on it. It's better for the U15 player to keep her mouth shut
and hope that everything blows over. It will get better in time That's so fucking ridiculous.
I need closure, I need to be heard. I was CAPTAIN of the U15 team, yet I wasn't even allowed to speak
at the trial concerning my life. I wasn't allowed to meet with the press. I wasn't allowed to do shit.
That's so fucking ridiculous. I need people to know who Wendy Moore is. On the full. I don't want them
to just hear the bits and pieces that the media decides to put out there. I want them to know who I am.

I almost killed myself over the trial. You should have heard the things that were said about me online.
EVERYONE said I deserved it. That I shouldn't have gotten drunk. And that it was "legally ambiguous"
to determine if I was raped or not. It's not fair....It's not fair. It's not fair. I'm a person, I have feelings.
Yes, I get it, "I'm lucky". I have everything I could ever want in life, but I find no solace in that.
I'm not free. The weight on my shoulders is unbareable, and one of these days, I'm going to collapse under it.

DI BRADINI CUP
TRB edges Gregoryisgodistan; no other incidents reported
by Edric Conciso

The Agilang Dilaw had a so-so opening game for the Di Bradini Cup.

They managed to eke out a narrow 3-2 win against Gregoryisgodistan in their first match for the under-21 tournament at the Sports Hall in Karak D'Ragh, but manager Aldrich Sing was unhappy with the way the lads played. Giving up so many free kicks in dangerous areas meant that the defence were very busy thwarting opponents' shots left and right.

Altar Boy at the Church in the 35th District LA0139SAH scored the first goal of the game after he found himself open and shot the ball past keeper Marion Celebrado in just eight minutes of the match. Gregoryisgodistan's attacking kept the defense busy for the majority of the first half, but counter-attacking alleviated the Barangayans' woeful attack, and in the 35th minute, they managed to find an equalizer. Marco Escuro ran free of his defenders and found himself open with only Decapitator SNNZN039 between him and the goal. He ran around the keeper and rolled the ball into the back of the net. 1-1 before halftime.

The tables seemed to turn in the second half, when the Barangayans adjusted their lineup. Sing brought on Feliz Agpoon for Clarence Directo, and turned the formation into a 4-3-2-1 with Inocencio joining the center forward position with Escuro. Then they peppered the "U21 Grid Slaves" with shots here and there. Escuro turned provider for the second goal when he flicked a pass towards Elden Castro, who never wasted the chance. The moment he touched the ball, he unleashed a powerful half volley that Decapitator SNNZN039 cannot reach. 2-1 in the 64th minute.

Four minutes later, Escuro scored his second after Inocencio was brought down by Pervert Chaser in Training MALZ012 inside the box. The foul merited a yellow card to Pervert Chaser in Training MALZ012 and Escuro voluntarily took the spot kick where he fooled the keeper to shot the ball at the opposite direction. 3-1 in the 78th minute. Gregoryisgodistan made the match interesting when the pulled back the deficit into a solitary goal when Slavecatcher MAZNADBB shot it low past Celebrado, 3-2 with four minutes before 90 minutes. After three minutes of stoppage time, the referee blew the whistle, and Aldrich was seen with a slight smile in his face signifying that he liked how his players bounced back from that poor first half. Next up will be Kinzar, in Iota "Big Eye" Stadium in Penningworth.

The Gregoryisgodistan match passed without much drama off pitch, at least for the Barangayans, as they were rumored to send in security personnel to Starblaydia to accompany them outside of matches. However, these personnel are yet to be seen around Karak D'Ragh or Penningworth.
