I created a setting for the refugee thread. Somehow I think that having to rely on unstable cities for certain supplies and medical treatments would make it more interesting. When imagining the setting, for some reason I actually had RL Southern Arabia and the Horn of Africa in mind. I am not sure why. If you disapprove of having a defined setting, please let me know.

The Holy Empire of Port Charlotte has been in a fierce war with five other nations for the past month. The enemy has started to make land fall and in order to keep a Port Charlotte Royal Naval Base and a damaged aircraft carrier out of enemy hands, Port Charlotte Military High Command ordered the destruction of the base with a one AN6-0-2 Hydrogen Nuclear Bomb. Needless to say the base was obliterated. The near by city of Bearville was in the middle of evacuation when the bomb went off. Because of the War, Port Charlotte cannot allocate men and equipment to the fall out zone to rescue the civilians, or what is left of them. We are asking for your help in rescuing the people from radiation fallout. One other thing, if any nation does move to Bearville a small Special Forces team will accompany them to secure the Port Charlotte Royal Bank Reserve Trucks. A quarter of the Holy Empires gold reserves are in Bearville and were evacuating after the civilians. The civilians must be evacuated and gold recovered.*THIS IS A HIGH RISK COMBAT ZONE
