so let's continue discussion: as the author of the last two bills is inactive since 14 days, discussing it will cause nothing

what about the Transport Safety Act? i think some definitions are inaccurate

I would like to add this to the queue:

First Amendment to the Financial Act of 2013

Category: Business and Finance | Urgency: Paramount | Sponsors: Belmaria (LPA), Alexei Tipalov (LPA), Kalmath (Independant)

Foreword
Aurentina does currently neither have a budget, nor deposits in the National Bank to pay its liabilities, enactable by a CR, with money out of his vaults. The National Bank has not been established yet. It will be lead by a President, who can make short-term decisions, recognizing that "short-term" in financial matters means less than one year effects, on his own decisions.
To limit the President's power, this amendment creates the Governors Council, consisting of 5 Governors, and also defines how exactly the President may be impeached.

Amendment to Article 1. C.
The report must be approved by the National Bank's President and the Governors.
Amendment to Article 1. D.
"The President may be impeached with a simple majority vote in the Senate o.t.A.C.."
New Article 1. E.
"All references to President are related to the President of the National Bank of the Aurentine Commonwealth (President of the N.B.o.t.A.C., President of the National Bank o.t.A.C).
A council of 5 people shall be created under the name "Governors Council of the National Bank of the Aurentine Commonwealth". This council shall consist of 5 Governors, each one appointed by the President of the Aurentine National Bank.
The Governors must swear their independence from the Aurentine government concerning the monetary policy of the National Bank of the Aurentine Commonwealth.
The Governors must develop the short (one month or less), medium (between one month and 4 months) and long-term (more than four months) monetary policy of the National Bank o.t.A.C. together with the President of the N.B.o.t.A.C..
The Governors can overrule short-term measurements of the President of the N.B.o.t.A.C. with a 3/5 vote, medium-term with a 3/5 vote, and long term with a 4/5 vote.
Every Governor may serve infinitive times.
Every Governor is impeachable by the Senate of t.A.C. with a simple majority vote.
No Governor must hold another political office.
The 5 Governors shall elect a Vice President. He shall lead the bank when the President is out of office or impeached."

Epilogue
This amendment decreases the power of the President of the N.B.o.t.A.C. and increases control and share of power by founding the Governors Council.

- An Act for the Establishment of National Honours for Extraordinary Achievements in the Arts: Lovely bill. I am however concerned about the fact that there can only be one Poet Laureate at one time (Barr the reasons listed in the bill), due to the fact that the PL (Poet Laureate) might get sick when needed. I would call for there to be three Poet Laureates for the sake of stability. The same goes for the chronicler.

- Repeal of the First Amendment to the Limiting Legislation Act: Horrible bill. Did you know that England has 5 times less death by shootings (Per capita obviously) than the UK? That's a considerable number, considering that the UK does not allow firearms unless you get an extremely hard to get license. (Woosh, there goes the "crooks will have guns anyways" argument out of the window) Also, that has to be the shortest and
least motivated bill I have see in a while. Also, this was written by a socialist? :palm: From what I can discern this is utterly the opposite of a socialist plan (IMO, anyways).

- Transport Safety Act: Well written bill that I have no current qualms about. Might get back to it later though.

- National Motor Vehicle Licencing and Registration Act: If I'm not incorrect, then Article 1c and 1d contradict each other. How? Well, in 1c it gives foreigners the right to register their registration plate in the register, but in 1d it mandates that all vehicles in the register has to wear Aurentine registration plates. Also, why can cars that are 10 years+ only be registered for 6 months? I can see no logic in that. If it is the case of "Buy new vehicle" or "Broken vehicle" then it's my opinion that you can either cancel the registration or continue on the current period on a new car (with the new registration number registered properly of course).

- Sign Language Standardisation Act:  Sorely needed bill actually.

- Post-Care Youth Accommodation Act: No qualms with this.

- Careers Advice 12-18 Year Old Act: None here either.

Just realized before posting that I sponsored the last two bills, so that might be the reason for having no qualms with them :p

EDIT: I can haz price

But we do have a budget AND a national bank... :meh:
EDIT: Also, refer to the Senator Grammar bill that was passed a few months back. This bill makes me cringe at some points.

Over-regulation?

Creating an accident investigation agency and mandating event data recorders is over-regulation?

Event-data recorders are essential tools for investigators, without which their jobs are extremely hard and investigations are often left without conclusive results. The government has an interest in public safety, and it's our duty to investigate and remedy fatal problems with vehicles, to save lives.

And if you think an accident investigation agency is "overregulation", then we have a problem here.

Any good, self-respecting socialist believes in the right to bear arms, as statements by Lenin and Marx both support that the state removing the weapons from the workers is further pacifying them, and making them unable to rise against the bourgeois state, and after the revolution, removing the right to bear arms will destroy the revolution, and the prevention of counter-revolutions.

Ahahah.... no. Any good self-respecting person would realize that firearms only cause death and despair and attribute nothing to society (except for hunting). You, my dear sir, are a radical. You are not a socialist, you are a revolutionist.
