History Page

New Whittorian Territory

A bright light flashed; Ron Llave brought his arm over his eyes to shield them from the sun until he could focus his eyes. He felt like crap, barely able to move. Finally, he mustered the strength to sit up. Squinting his eyes he began to look around him. He was sitting high upon the top of a grassy hill. To his left, hills and plains as far as the eye could see, with a mountain range far off into the distance; to the right, a sharp hill leading far down to a beach. Llave stood up, taking in the beauty around him, bu starting to question his surroundings. Where the hell am I? How did I get here? he wondered. There was no boat, no car, no aircraft, no sign of anything that may have brought him here; of course there was an empty bottle of George Dickel on the ground nearby. That explains part of this situation, he thought.

Just then he heard an eagle's cry, and looked up to see a majestic bald eagle flying over, carrying a fish in its claws. As it flew over, Ron began to look around again, taking in the majesty of this land he had woken up on. A sense of calm washed over him; he could get used to this place. It was nice. But then he looked down, only to find that he was stark-naked.

"Dammit!"
