"I would have to agree with you, Albert." Jacob said, nodding in agreement.

Ray simply smiled, even teared up a little at the reunion. Ray hoped that there would be no problems during this visit, considering how good things seemed to be going at the moment. He even felt a little homesick at the sight, wishing he could see his family soon.

Levi was busy observing and not caring like a ass he was. Smith, he was more concerned on figuring out Thriller was.

Katya and her father hugged for a long time. Tears streamed down Katya face. The two eventually broke up, and gave each other a look over.\

Suddenly, Katya slapped her father across the face.

"Oh, what the hell was that for!?"

Katya got right in his face, waving a finger about and yelling in her unmistakable aristocratic accent.

"How. Dare. you! You run out, take Tora, you're never around, you never try and visit, and even after all this time, you never call! I never got a birthday with you, or a Christmas, or anything. You live on this nice land, you never tell anyone, you never try and speak with mother, you're rowdy and loud, and frankly, up until a few minutes ago, I hated your guts. Fuck you!"

She stepped back, calmed down, and gave a wide, happy smile. "Sorry~", She said, completely calm and sweet. "I just had to get that all out, father. Now, shall we go inside or what? I'm rather soar from sitting in a vehicle all day. Oh, by the way, this is Yoshi, my boyfriend, HE is the shy one, but that's okay because he's ssssoooo sweet!"

He wasn't angered at her for it- he could catch up on the sleep while talking to her by simply shutting off parts of his brain, but this was, simply gigantic. He might as well simply write a book and publish it while he was at it. Rubbing his face, Volturius put off ordering for a bit to converse with Tipper.

"Wow. That's not something I'd ridicule you at all for and is fairly understandable given your blindness, but just, damn. I won't be getting much real sleep tonight in order to explain everything to you. Before we crack out my memories and see if I can simply transfer my understanding of language- where do you want to start? The Civil War? Astartes? The Astronomonicon? The Sisters? The Inquisition? Eldar? Chaos Raptors? We can cover a couple subjects over lunch."

Volturius then ordered a meal of roasted duck for both of them, getting a side of greens for Tipper.

Tipper had been biting her lower lip in anticipation of his reaction. It slowly slipped from between her teeth and she sighed in relief.

"I didn't realize there was so much to it," her eyes widened. "I think a lot of my knowledge overlaps what other people know, but for now... um..."

She closed her eyes and tried to single out one question but it was difficult because even more had popped into her head. She pushed aside the topics that she didn't normally even like to think about, such as Eldar, and then pushed aside some of the stuff that would be history because there was sooooo much history, and finally settled on the sisters. "Alright, how come there aren't any female Astartes? Is it because our bodies are too frail?"

"Well, look at it this way. The training before augmentation for neophytes weeds out a significant percentage of them, I'd say roughly fifty percent- even neophytes literally bred for attempting indoctrination like me. Once the augmentation begins, the survival rate drops further, with some rejecting the gene-seed over time and dying. Obviously for males it's extremely brutal and exterminates any person with any sort of weakness. Theoretically, out of the trillions of humans and their mutant off-shoots, there'd be a couple females able to survive this process. However, the Primarch Gene-Seed is only compatible with males (which still can reject it). If that explains things."

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

"Lovely," said Giovenith, embracing the warmth. It was a very rare and precious opportunity to see relatives reunited after long distance apart, and this one was much better than Torii's meeting with her mother. Much, much better.

"Ya can call me Peter, or ya can call be Mr. Dimitrov.". The Father said. He said something to the sisters, who nodded and followed him into the kitchen for a minute. They came back out and took a seat.

The inside of the house was humble as well, with a dark, wooden feel to the place. The couches and chairs were simple, but comfy, and the air was nice and cool. The TV was playing an old adventure movie.

A Torsiedellie Flag hung from the wall, beside a picture of Torii when she was younger, and a picture of the mother.

"Why thanks.", He replied, sitting down in a blue Lay-Z-Boy. "It's not much, but it's home."

Torii was looking at the little shelf above and to the right of the recliner, against the wall. There was a picture of Torii was a youngster, a picture of her mother, a small locked box, an old snap-brim Fedora, and a large wooden boomerang.

"How curious..."

Chrys stood outside, wanting to feel the sun on her skin before it set completely. She glanced around. No one was in sight - not that she would care if someone was - and so she deactivated her armor. Aside from the obvious and expected sights, there were a few that those not familiar with Conservators wouldn't expect.

In addition to the serpent tattoo at the base of her neck, shared by all troopers, there was a thin pinkish band running horizontally across the middle of her back. Where it tapered around and ended on the right side, there appeared to be another tattoo leading around to the front, though only Dia had ever seen that in its entirety. She'd gotten it after returning home, in the wake of the Drone invasion.

The trip was beginning to wear on her psyche in so many ways, most of which had to do with her mate. There were too many couples. The canines. Torii and that blasted Icer. Katya and Yoshi. She was getting tired of being assigned to guard Bran, which had been going more or less pleasantly until the Icer showed up to add another straw to the camel's back. Why couldn't that horned menace have had the decency to stay dead? Then she could just go home.

She sighed. The sun was just hitting the horizon, and the temperature was already starting to drop. Deploying her armor again, she rejoiced in the heat that had been trapped within it. A small luxury, but she'd take it.

"Volturius, you're awake when they implant some of those organs, aren't you? You have to be conscious and awake and not drugged while they perform the surgery, right?"

Tipper visibly shuddered at the thought, and a wave of comfort rolled over her mate. It was tinged with a sadness for the youth who had to endure the agony.

Later in the morning...

It was fortunate, she supposed, that they hadn't moved around too much in their sleep. She was still on top.

She pushed herself up slightly and slid sideways. Not bothering to dress again - her clothes were hard to see in the dark - she went into the bathroom and wrapped a pair of towels around herself, for her other guest's sake. Padding out into the sitting room, she saw Denise was pretty much where she'd been throughout, and didn't seem to have been disturbed.

True to her word, she set the coffeepot on. Then, just for good measure, she began making pancakes and bacon for herself and Ozzall, and Denise if she wanted any.

Yoshi blushed ever so slightly as he was dragged along by his eager girlfriend. Once inside, he looked around at the decor and the furniture. He that it was quite nice. But his heart sank when he didn't hear chicken or fish mentioned on the menu. He would either starve or attempt to stick to waffles.
A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority.

"Ugh, I'm starving." Bran smiled as he followed to the table, sitting down near Torii. He looked between everyone and grinned. He was still quite happy that everyone was there, but he still hated Tsu with a passion.

"Um, Father, Yoshi likes fish or chicken, so..."
"No problem! We shall have fish and chicken as well!"
"So.much to cook.."
"It's a feast!"
"Um...okay..."

Katya retreated into the other room to work on the food. Torii turned to her father. "Hey, what's with the fedora and boomerang?"
