KYTLERIAN NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM
Provisional squad for the early qualifying fixtures.

1. Duncan BINNINGTON (GK, Aardswood United)
By the standards of this new-look team, the 27-year-old Binnington is a veteran. He only secured a first-team place at his club three years ago, but has kept the joint-most clean sheets in the league in each of the last two despite a less-than-stellar defence in front of him. Particularly reliable from crosses, Binnington can be caught by surprise with long shots sometimes, so it's worth speculating against him once in a while.
2. Arthur MOON (LB/LWB/LM, Yeaddin Owls[Vilita])
One of the two massive standouts in the side, Moon has generally been used as an orthodox left-back in the V-League but is capable of marauding forward when the opportunity arises, and has played in midfield for his country on several occasions. Now 29, he has perhaps one last opportunity to show what he can do in Kytlerian green. He'll take the corners.
3. Mike VAN DIJK (SW/CB, FC Alaer)
19-year-old van Dijk is a tall, not-exactly-mobile last line of defence, with good positional awareness, and basically plays like he's ten years older. That could set him up for a nice long career.
4. Wolf HAVENSTEIN (CB/RB, Zeiven City)
The physical presence of this 25-year-old means he picks up more yellow cards than he should, but he'll win plenty of tackles too. An adequate distributor of the ball, no more or less than that.
5. George COUGHLAN (CB, Roddens City)
A rare example of a left-footed central defender, 24-year-old Coughlan is an unexceptional player in many ways, but lacks an obvious weak link. He will probably be made to look quite inadequate against the top sides, unfortunately.
6. Zourab NIZHARADZE (RB/RWB, FC Alaer)
Whilst probably more suited to a disciplined approach at right-back, at only 20 Nizharadze seems to enjoy bombing forward now and again. Exuberance of youth, and all that. He's got the pace and stamina to pull it off, and track back effectively more often than not, but he's not the best distributor of the ball, and certainly not a good crosser. Good at dragging opponents into tight spots along the wing, though.
7. Pitama PONGIA (CM/DM, Aardswood United)
Also only 20, but standing over 200cm tall and weighing in at around 103kg, the aboriginal beast Pongia is quicker than he looks (by which is meant "he can run"), wins everything in the air, and can distribute the ball pretty well with his feet. The future of this team.
8. Arsenio Azkoitia Gabiola (GABI) (CM/AM/RM, AFC Edencliff)
Gabi offers a mercifully short nickname, and a penchant for the long pass. Go figure. He's a little inconsistent, but at only 19 that's somewhat forgiven in flair players, especially in weak sides. He might start to look a luxury they can't afford if he's off form, though.
9. Calvin YULE (LM/LW, Capitolians)
The only left-footed midfielder of any repute in the Kytlerian league, 26-year-old Yule is still pretty mediocre, though he can whip in a decent cross. Unlikely to feature that much, even in spite of the lack of alternatives - the 5-3-2 will ensure that they don't need to be lumbered with him.
10. Guy STAMP (CF/ST, Honeybadgers [Eura])
At 33, and an old 33 given the slow pace of time dilation in Eura, Stamp would be expected to be past it. But he still gets 20 goals a season in the Euran league. He's scored approximately 200 goals for Honeybadgers, and goodness only knows how many goals he'd have scored domestically. 500? 1,000? 1,093? 9,001? A prolific poacher, always in the right place at the right time in the penalty area. Well, almost always. He should be scoring a clear majority of the goals...
11. Davor MIANI-PIPI (ST, Bay City United)
...for now, at least, as 22-year-old Miani-Pipi - the child of a white mother of Croatian origin and a black father of aboriginal origin - is fast emerging. More athletic than Stamp these days, he possesses a thunderous - if slightly erratic - shot, and has real pace as well. Will take free kicks in shooting range.
12. Dubravko DRASKOVIC (GK, FC Alaer)
28 and adequate, but Alaer produce such good defensive players (by Kytlerian standards) historically that he's here on their reputation. Nothing much to say - it's unlikely he will play.
13. Shrifflu COTESKAIS (CM, Bravin Rangers)
Takes on the mantle of the superstitious Vephra from the legendary Kytlerian midfielder Recasang Cheslot, whom he describes as his "ultimate hero." Has a similar skill set, too - specialising in long passes and clever positioning, not the greatest of athletes. At only 19, his best is yet to come.
14. Kári FINNBOGISSON (SW/CB/DM, Capitolians)
The 24-year-old tends to play as a sweeper, but they don't enjoy playing as purely a last line of defence, and will regularly push forward to disrupt marking and start an attack for their team. Note the pronouns carefully, for their use is accurate. Kári identifies as being of "nonbinary" gender, and very much wishes to be referred to by a gender-neutral pronoun, with "they" being seen as preferable.
15. Trausti KOLBEINNSONUR (RB, Borlfield Town)
The other Icelandic player in the side, very definitely male, and very definitely tough. 19-year-old Kolbeinnsonur has the potential to become a whole lot more imposing in the future, but is a bit erratic at present.
16. Patxi Miñambres Pascual (PAPA) (AM/LM/RM, Bay City United)
It's easy to joke about someone called Papa being only 18. But he's not a dad. Is he the daddy on the pitch? No, frankly, but he shows flashes of brilliance and trickery that have made him a huge fan favourite. Lots of unrealised potential here.
17. Diego BENITO (CM, Real Santa Mordana)
A relative veteran by this team's standards at 26, Benito is a consistent central midfielder with lots of stamina, but doesn't really have that much skill by international standards.
18. Aaron VAN HOOF (CB, AFC Edencliff)
An aptly-named 22-year-old, considering his penchant for no-nonsense play, van Hoof is not to be confused with a player from the Equestrian States. He's nowhere near good enough for that.
19. Himi Heke HENARE (CM/AM, Aardswood United)
Dropped out of school at 14 to join the Aardswood academy in what was seen as a local scandal. It has been quickly forgotten two years on, as "Triple H" is now already a standout player for the senior side and is a half-viable member of the national squad already. In particular, his pace and directness make him an excellent substitute option, and he is capable of scoring fabulous goals from long range.
20. Unai DÍEZ AZNAR (LB/CB, Real Santa Mordana)
Another 22-year-old industrious defender, notable more for being left-footed than anything else. Already rumours he will be dropped to make way for Dean Wickens, but that depends on the veteran making himself available. The clamour for it is significant... but only amongst certain, mainly right-wing, supporters, with Wickens being an ex-military man.
21. Simon PÁLSSON (ST, FC Alaer)
25-year-old "iceman," a spot-kick specialist with a 98.4% conversion record in domestic football. Under pressure, he goes from a mediocre player to a perfectly adequate one. That's about it, really.
22. Bo CALDING (ST/RW, Capitolians)
18-year-old speedster with a 100m best time of 10.93 into a headwind, often deployed on the wing but really much prefers being a central striker. A useful substitute, perhaps.
23. Dings IZORIGOR (GK, Borlfield Town)
Acrobatic 19-year-old, mainly selected to gain experience and train with the rest of the squad.

Projected lineup

Style modifier +1.093 - not so much because the team has an attacking style, but because the dominant players in the side are a striker and a marauding wing-back, and mostly the striker.

Manager - Image Sir James Handel
52 year-old Sir James Robert Handel; novelist, perfectionist, football manager, knight and motivational speaker, was brought in straight from Yesopalitha to replace Gunutz Yaregi and has had mixed results - variously labelled as "terrible", "disastrous" and "soul-crushingly catastrophic". However, the FAF have decided to stick with him and his promises of pulling through and transitioning to a younger generation of players. Handel led the Yesopalithans to become one of the fastest-rising, most exciting squads in the multiverse, using unconvential formations centred on "Lightning Counterattacks". They may not be the most offensively daring, but certainly fascinating and what's most important, provenly effective. For Olibondeka he has prepared a variation on his typical 3-5-2 that has never before been seen on these shores, with a very active goalkeeper, a sweeper in front of him, two centre-backs to guard the line, two wing-backs pushed to the very limit of their physical capacity, a defensive midfielder to cover their gaps, a central midfielder to link the back with the front and keep things tidy, an attacking midfielder as playmaker and two strong forwards to bang the goals in. To accomplish this he has done away with a lot of dead wood and taking a number of fringe players with promise under his wing.

Handel has been handed his ultimatum - it's qualification or his job. Astograth have never missed three World Cups in a row since making their qualifying début on the road to WC 55; failing to reach Pasarga and Saugeais would incite a national team crisis.

Starting XI:

#1 - GK – Machin Logegaray - Age 29 - Ituraitz FC – 8 caps, 7 goals against, 4 clean sheets
He may not be very experienced at the international level, but Logegaray is undoubtedly the best goalkeeper in the Astograthian game and he has performed admirably in the eight national team matches he has been in so far. Starting for the most dominant team to ever come out of Astograth, Logegaray can be trusted to keep his cool and be a key player for Olibondeka.

#4 - SW - Yokin Arizmande - Age 28 – Urbizania Wanderers - 84 caps, 3 goals
A product of the Royal Vosaroni Antenelli youth academy in Erathore, Arizmande then spent several successful years at Niccostrato, in keeping with the Erathi custom of teenaged players. Having returned to his homeland, he has solidified himself as one of the leading defenders in the First Division and the national team. At his peak, his play is exquisite, blending physical presence with speed, tactical awareness and fine technical skills - all of which are to pushed to the limit in the demanding sweeper role.

#2 - CB - Anartz Agirrebenia - Age 25 - Royal Rumiatzi - 12 caps
Having previously been used to cover as sweeper for Arizmande, Agirrebenia has earned himself a big-money transfer to Royal Rumiatzi and a place on the national team's starting lineup. Having operated at the heart of defense for the ultra-defensive Blue Mountain Range since the youth teams, he has especially bred for this very role and occasion. He has the vision, the calm and the technique to carry out the job - with some added international exposure he could well be unstoppable.

#6 - CB - Haitz Maistegi - Age 28 - Astograth University - 22 caps
At club level Maistegi has been instrumental at both Astograth University and Royal Arexa, the latter of which he led to the Cygnus Cup semifinals. At national team level, he has successfully made the transition into the starting lineup in replacement of retired captain Urtzi Galard, and can be relied to keep things neat at the back.

#7 - LWB – Lekubegi Guerrikaechebarria - Age 32 – Astograth University – 99 caps, 15 goals
Guerrikaechebarria burst onto the domestic scene with blinding performances at Athletic Club Yungoitio, and has since captained Astograth University to unthinkable heights. He is fast and lively, an important threat down the left wing and very versatile. His eagerness can sometimes be a bit excessive, not thinking things through and dipping in form when setbacks arise, but he is arguably Astograth's most technically talented player. On the brink of breaching 100 caps, Guerrikaechebarria is looking for that final World Cup run to cap off his legacy.

#5 - DM – Burutzagi Bidaiyat - Age 26 - Image Edmonton United – 64 caps, 3 goals
Bred at Erathore's Niccostrato, Bidaiyat is a technical-minded midfielder, preferring to dribble and, above all else, pass the ball around like a mindless drone until the opponent makes a grave mistake - as is (or was) the Erathi style. He isn't usually one for getting stuck in the challenge, though being played by Handel as a holding midfielder has forced him to become comfortable in the tackle.

#14 - RWB - Marin Mendazona - Age 28 - Image Sporting Iturributa - 23 caps, 1 goal
Part of the squad that won the Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil Sub-20, Mendazona took his time to make the jump to the senior team despite regular top-class football at Sporting Iturributa. Tireless, a solid crosser and talented enough at defending, he is exactly what Handel requires from a wing-back and has so been thrust into a starting position. He has held up admirably, though could be singled out as a weak spot to be exploited.

#15 - CM – Ikatz Alberro (C) - Age 32 - Ituraitz FC – 95 caps, 10 goals
Alberro has overcome injury troubles to situate himself as one of the all-time great Astograthian players in a position with a long tradition in the nation, guiding Ituraitz FC to unprecedented international glory and earning the Astograthian captain's armband for his trouble after the retirement of Urtzi Galard. He is adept at finding space in thick midfields, whether to stick a pass in or muscle his way through, and in the proud heritage of Edorta Urrustoy he is no stranger to rough tackles.

#8 - AM - Eriz Bakaikoa - Age 29 - Image FC Axel Heiburg – 47 caps, 7 goals
Brought up at the prestigious Haapa-Mechelin academy in Polar Islandstates, Bakaikoa is followed by the Astograthian public at a distance but has quickly become one of the most lauded foreign-based players of all time, winning the Divisjon One multiple times and a number of international trophies including the Champions' Cup, the Cygnus Cup and the Copa de Campeones. He has the weight of a nation on his shoulders, and will have to step up his game if he expects to lead Astograth to the World Cup.

#9 - CF - Balendin Uzkudun - Age 29 - Image Metropolis Alligators - 13 caps, 7 goals
It took a while, but Balendin Uzkudun at last attracted enough attention at the Valladar Super League for Iturributa and Astograth to both call on his services. He didn't think twice before turning down the Free Republic, where he was born and played before moving to Metropolis, and gladly lines up for an Olibondeka. He has quickly racked up goals, but will have a hard time living up to the fame of his Number 9 predecessor, the venerable Hurko Atristain.

#10 - CF - Ibai Kiriano - Age 21 - Ituraitz FC - 19 caps, 12 goals
A Handel gamble, Kiriano has exploded onto the international scene, winning over the hearts and minds of the Astograthian public. Short, barrel-chested and not very smart, but very fast, very skilled in the dribble and extremely deadly. By far the most exciting player on the squad, capable of doing the unexpected and rekindling hope for great things.

Substitutes:

#13 - GK – Polentzi Gayategi - Age 29 - Urbizania Wanderers – Uncapped
Overshadowed and overlooked for far too long, Gayategi has been called up to foster some healthy competition, keeping Logegaray on his toes. Having played excellently for many years at smaller sides - which included 3 Royal Cup wins with Oyardo FC and Royal Arexa and reaching the Cygnus Cup semifinals with the latter - he is set to play for the giants of Urbizania Wanderers and at least wear the blue of the national team goalkeepers.

#23 - GK – Zuriko Eliz - Age 23 - Oyardo FC - Uncapped
He isn't a household name by any means, but Zuriko Eliz has carved himself out a little recognition thanks to his performances for the junior national teams and with Ximun Orieta FC, before moving to Oyardo, who continue to surprise in the First Division. Unlikely to get much playing time, if any, Eliz is one to watch for the future.

#19 - SW – Lerchun Isasi - Age 25 - Athletic Club Olarria - Age 25
His name won't ring a bell to most, but within the First Division Isasi has earned himself a reputation for being the stalwart that keeps AC Olarria together, a local boy who has turned down offers from bigger sides. He has the defensive awareness, passing ability and calm disposition Handel looks for in his sweepers, and though he is unlikely to play much Isasi is fully ready to wear the olive-green.

#12 - CB – Etor Yauregialzo - Age 22 – Ituraitz FC - Uncapped
Raised at the defensively renowned Blue Mountain Range, Yauregialzo stood out enough for Ituraitz FC to lay down the money and bring him over to incorporate into their most dominant squad ever. Smart and quick on his feet, qualities valued by the BMR academy, he is reliable and very eager to show himself to the world.

#3 - CB – Abdoulaye Bocandé - Age 33 – Image East Franz Athletic – 120 caps, 6 goals
Zenegaleze-born Bocandé was naturalised by Astograth after his standout performances in the First Division, originally joining from the Tamarindo league. A crucial part of Echegoyan FC's rise to the very top, now at Polarian giants East Franz Athletic, he is a ferasome, blood-and-guts defender with no fear of crunching tackles or studs to the face. One of Olibondeka's most-capped and the team's vice-captain, he is a proud symbol of Astograthian integration and growing multi-culturalism.

#22 - LWB - Koldobika Benitzaizin - Age 26 - Echegoyan FC - 14 caps
Spirited and combative, Benitzaizin can run, can do so for a good while, and he can dribble his way through tight defenses. Crossing isn't his strong point, which holds him back in Handel's plans, but his raw talent and determined attitude are such that he's in the squad as backup anyway.

#16 - DM - Ayoro Barinaga - Age 28 - Astograth University - 20 caps
Equally good at unravelling defenses and hacking down forwards, Barinaga can be counted on to bring play forth from the back and, when not on the ball, keep a close eye on his surroundings and take down his opponents - if necessary he's not above cheap gamesmanship, which hasn't exactly been drilled out of him at club level.

#17 - RWB - Raitin Eneriz - Age 30 - Echegoyan FC - 54 caps, 3 goals
A fast and versatile right-back at league champions Echegoyan FC, Raitin Eneriz has continued to demonstrate that his defending is top-notch if rash, but he truly shines when taking the ball forward, either dribbling or with the long pass. Blooded and experienced at every level of football, though Handel usually prefers to go with Marin Mendazona's greater tactical awareness.

#21 - CM – Ekhi Subies - Age 26 - Ituraitz FC - 3 caps
Part of a generation of Astograthian players trained in Erathore, Subies débuted at a very early age for Niccostrato and has plenty of experience in the lower rungs of top-flight football, playing for Royal Association and Ituraitz Victory before running out his contract to sign for the giants of Ituraitz FC. Previously capped at the Brevity Challenge Cup 3, Subies can be employed as a centre or attacking midfielder and is looking forward to a greater role with Olibondeka.

#20 - AM – Luar Dardan - Age 18 - Image Lajuno – Uncapped
Discarded by Edorta Urrustoy's Urbizania Wanderers in an uncharacteristic bout of short-sightedness, Dardan has set the Euran league on fire with his mazing runs, through-balls and eye for goal. Far more offensive than Bakaikoa and currently reaping all manner of awards, but Handel will be taking his time with him - he's only 18 after all, and for all its merits the Euran league isn't quite up there with the Astograthian or Polarian tournaments.

#11 - CF – Eguzki Berriex - Age 31 - Oyardo FC – 28 caps, 7 goals
Part of Urbizania Wanderers' Champions' Cup-winning side, Berriex was deemed surplus to requirements just as he finally rose to the fore and earned his first caps at the 3rd Brevity Challenge Cup. Now inevitably a star at the suprising Oyardo FC, he has established himself a club level but has failed to really shine Olibondeka. Has seen himself unable to keep up with Uzkudun and Kiriano, kept by Handel as backup in case a more physical approach is required.

#18 - CF – Oskarbi Churin - Age 19 - Image FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls – Uncapped
After surprising everybody with prolific showings in the second tier, barely aged 17, Churin repeated his act in the First Division with Athletic Club Rumiatzi and the Polarian league came calling. Fast and physical, his greatest assets are his incredible positioning - expertly beating all but the toughest offside traps - and his unflinching drive once he sets his eyes on goal. One to watch out for.

Captain: Ikatz Alberro
Free Kick Taker: Eriz Bakaikoa
Penalty Taker: Lekubegi Guerrikaechebarria

A roster detailing the members of the
Kiryu-shi National Football Team,
The Kiri (桐),
for competition in the
65th edition of the World Cup
submitted for the benefit of potential rivals and interested parties.

Coaching Staff
Head Coach: Reah Wilson --- Age: 41
Assistant Coach: Ken Nagamoto --- Age: 33

GK
Megumi Harris (#1) --- Age: 30
Coming from the prestigious Sakaino University, Megumi Harris represents the finest keeping talent ever developed by the prestigious Kiryu-shi university system. While she underperformed during the previous World Cup, Harris has dedicated herself to her craft over the past four years and her performance is likely to be the driving force behind any success for the Kiryu-shi squad this time around. Harris has incredible athleticism, with an innate ability to react to shots in the turn of a moment and protect the net. While there are those who say she has lost her electric athleticism following a nagging leg injury four years ago, she has ironed out a lot of the mental mistakes she used to make, playing angles. Coinciding with these mental improvements has been the maturation of her character, and she has been named the captain of the squad.

DF

Jasper Keith (#8) --- Age: 30
Jasper Keith has never been the most athletic player at the center back position, but he has developed into an extremely useful and cerebral center back who has cultivated a reputation for perfect positioning. A student of the game, Keith relentlessly studies tactics and opposing players, and has a knack for knowing how the opponent will attack before they make their move. While he doesn’t have the pure speed or size of a dominant wing back, his reliable positioning and his ability to diagnose and break down opposing attacks has sustained his international career. His athleticism remains in question, but he provides a solid presence on the last level of defense. Although he used to be played as a wing-back on the Kiri, he has returned to his natural position and taken on more leadership in preparation for World Cup 65 qualifications.

Kenichi Ogusawa (#14) --- Age: 27
One of the better pure athletes on the Kiri, Ogusawa compensates for his relatively diminutive size with his ability to keep up with any attacker. He has the ability to turn his hips at the slightest inclinations, start and stop on a dime, and uses his quick feet to take the ball away from attackers in one-on-one situations. While he is a distinct liability in set piece defending where his size renders him practically useless, he provides a great counterpoint to Jasper Keith at the centerback position, where he is generally charged with aggressively defending prominent opposition attackers.

Steve Hamm (#20) --- Age: 25
Hamm has never been a star in Kiryu-shi, but found a place on the Kiryu-shi under-21 squad from the age of 16 due to incredible pace. While Hamm has never been able to take that one incredible skill and translated it to sustained, reliable success on the pitch, he figures to be useful providing some of the only real speed on the Kiryu-shi side. From his position as a right full back, he will be asked to cover a tremendous amount of space and will likely be the first defender who roams up the pitch in attacking positions. Hamm has yet to develop great ball control, and can struggle providing accurate balls to his teammates. Defensively, he will be able to track opposing attackers, but is prone to overcommitting and making mental errors. He can be slow to keep attackers offside.

Adrian Pelior (#19) --- Age: 28
Pelior is a relatively controversial selection for the Qualification squad, as injuries have prevented him from contributing on the international stage since he was a reserve for the U-21 squad nine years ago. A tall, lanky player, he is not a world-class defender, but he can be useful on the back line. His biggest weakness is his pace, as he struggles to stay with speedy wingers utilizing the width of the pitch. He is extremely reliable distributing the ball up the field from the back line, with one of the more powerful and accurate legs on the squad, but isn’t useful in an attacking position because of the time and space he needs to properly execute his passes. He will struggle against faster, edge-oriented attacks, but can be a useful defender against possession-based opponents, as he can provide a physical presence on the back line.

MF

Bernice Pitri (#2) --- Age: 32
A long time veteran of the Kiri, Pitri remains a physical presence in the defensive midfield. She is an aggressive tackler, and when she is at her best, is a whirlwind in the defensive midfield capable of disrupting any attack in the middle of the field. For all of her aggressiveness defending, she is a reluctant and conservative player in possession, preferring to let the attacking midfielders facilitate any attack. While she is a one dimensional player, she is very good at what she does, and is very comfortable roaming from sideline to sideline in a holding position. She will certainly draw her fair share of whistles, and is prone to confrontations with opponents and the ensuing cards.

Andrea d'Coriaceus (#7) --- Age: 18
One of the more interesting stories on the Kiri, d'Coriaceus is the daughter of one of the political refugees who returned to Kiryu-shi over the past few decades. Although she was born outside of Kiryu-shi, she was raised within the city limits, and doesn’t show the aggressive attacking mentality that defined the generation of political refugees before her. d'Coriaceus is a tenacious player, smart on the ball and works hard off the ball to position herself well in both holding and attacking roles. While she doesn’t have elite ball skills or physicality, she is an intelligent player with natural instincts in the defensive side of the pitch. Her presence in the starting eleven is meant to allow Pitri to play more aggressively, while d'Coriaceus will be used to ensure that the spaces vacated by Pitri will remain defended.

Chihiro Yamanoue (#15) — Age: 20
Yamanoue is one of the brightest hopes for the future of Kiryu-shi football. She was brought up in the elite Sakaino University system, where she flourished as an attacking midfielder for the youth squad for years. Yamanoue is a smooth ball handler, able to effortlessly glide through defenders and find space for herself against inferior opponents. She also has incredible instincts off of the ball, and has shown a propensity for diligent work creating lanes for teammates to feed the ball to her. She has yet to develop an elite shooting skill, and while she has produced as a goal scorer by being able to make her way to the front of the net in lower levels, it remains to be seen if she will be able to find the net with bigger, more physical defenders on the pitch. While she doesn’t have the speed to spread the field as a winger, the hope is that she will be effective playing off of a’Tirpák’s presence in the center of the pitch.

Nate Masako (#12) --- Age: 19
While Masako isn’t quite the talent that Yamanoue is, he is another young, promising player for the Kiri who has been thrust into the starting lineup. Masako is more of a true winger than any of the other midfielders, and has the ability to play out wide and stretch the pitch a little bit. He has shown a talent for picking out passes from the wing, and the hope is that he will be able to develop into a true threat on the wing. For the purposes of this tournament, however, he will be asked to play a little more conservatively, as he has yet to grow into his frame, and will not be asked to take on too much responsibility in the Kiri attack.

Achior a'Tirpák (#10) --- Age: 28
a'Tirpák has transformed himself from the hotheaded, fearless striker starring on the Kiryu-shi youth squad years ago into a complete, dynamic attacking player who will run the Kiri attack. Throughout the years, he has developed a world-class ability to navigate opposing defenses, and is an effective goal-scorer when given the opportunity. While he doesn’t have the vision of some of the best players in the world, with a tendency to run the offense a little narrowly without finding creative ways of distributing the ball, he is effective at controlling the ball and is talented at moving the ball up the field aggressively. His tenaciousness and drive set him apart, as he fights and claws to find ways to score. He is a tireless worker, and always seems to be in motion and in the center of the play.

FW

Enéh d'Erdélyi (#9) --- Age: 32
d'Erdélyi will be the primary scoring option for this year’s Kiri, as she is a true striker who craves goal scoring opportunities. While she has been at her best combined with another striker as a part of a two-top formation, she will be asked to handle the striker responsibilities on her own. While she never had the speed or strength to create her own chances, her ability to accurately place strong shots on goal distinguishes her on this Kiri squad. While her physicality prevents her from being an elite striker, she has scored some incredible goals with her powerful left leg, and has demonstrated an ability to launch accurate shots even when off balance or at poor angles. She will likely be the primary set piece taker for the squad, as her dead ball striking ability is world class.

Stadium Information
Kiryu-shi home matches will be played in the Sakaino National Football Stadium, a relatively new stadium and the crowned jewel of the Kiryu-shi National Football Program. Although its presence is controversial in a nation still in turmoil over the presence of international football, the facility itself should be top quality for all visiting teams and fans. It is known for being energy-neutral, highlighted by a solar panel ‘halo’ above the stadium that provides for it’s own power as well as power for some of the buildings around the Sakaino University Campus.

World Cup 20 Champions

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium (87,000 Seating Capacity) in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali-Ring. The Tivali-Ring complex was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict. 'The Ring' has since hosted countless international matches including high profile matches such as the World Cup 31 Final and the 40th Series 'B' Champions Cup Final.

Despite being based at the Ring, The Football Association of Vilita regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the 87,000 capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali-Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, domestically for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchups. The Football Association typically releases a stadium schedule when applicable.

Head Coach: Calaesa Mitaroka
After a highly succesful spell as the manager of club side Jungle Strike FC, Calaesa Mitaroka led the Vilitan National Team as head coach for the first time during their World Cup 61 Qualifying Campaign. Mitaroka's late run of form secured a spot in the Finals for the Jungle Cats.

The coaches will select the squad from the National Player pool. Players are listed below, grouped by position and sorted by projection 'Depth Chart' position where the top player listed is most likely to be named the first player selected for that position, and so on. Depth chart positions are determined by performance in pre-cup training sessions, as well as performance and average ratings in the Vilitan League competition and previous appearances for the National Team.

GOALKEEPERS:

[ 98 ] Atacir Tivalan [ - Makosile FC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 7 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 3.86 Average Rating ]
Tivalan architected an outstanding season for Makosile FC in the Vilitan Stellar Division, season 26 leading the Mako's to a top 4 finish in the table, and earning a high-profile transfer to the Yeaddin Owls. Although Tivalan played well at the Castle, the team was languishing unfamiliarly near the bottom half of the table, while Makosile also struggled. The Owls decided to part company with the goalkeeper who was welcomed back to Makosile, finishing the season strong conceding just 8 goals in 15 games. Season 30 was the breakthrough for Tivalan and Makosile, an ultra-defensive season fell right into the Mako's hands as they were crowned stellar division champions for the first time and Tivalan got a call to the squad for AOCAF 36. Tivalan would follow up leading the Makos to the Vilitan Cup during Season 32 before hitting a bit of a downturn. The righted the ship again during Season 38 however, clawing back to the top of the Stellar Division for the second time in club history with Tivalan between the sticks.

[ 91 ] Aranora Jaded [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 26 CAPS: 26 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.38 Average Rating ]
Jaded was given a great confidence boost by the decision of the coaching staff to sell Jaqe Planst to Cednia Beach AFC. The two young keepers were fighting for the right to be the next Arcticala starting keeper, and Jaded won that job, leading Arcticala to the Tropical Trophy title in Season 27 - on penalty kicks, against his opposite number Planst who was making his first start for Cednia Beach since leaving Arcticala. After a stellar tit-for-tat opening to their careers, both Planst and Jaded hit a mid-career funk with club and country culminating with Arcticala Inlet's shock relegation from the Stellar Division following V-League Season 36 leaving many to wonder if Jaded would remain at his life-long club. Jaded would remain, however, and helped the Electricians bounce right back to the Stellar Division for Season 38. Jaded's strong performances continued as he led Arcticala Inlet back to the UICA Champions Cup with a top 5 finish in the Season 38 Stellar Division table.

[ 85 ] Nycflala Kater [ - Kiiara-Torra - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 86 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.52 Average Rating ]
Descended of former National Team goalkeeper Jimmy Kater, who took over the starting position on the National Team under the intense spotlight of the World Cup 17 Finals in Vilita and remained first choice keeper for the majority of Vilitan national competition in subsequent seasons before joining the coaching staff for World Cup 31. Nycflala made his full debut for the Vilita National Team during World Cup 57 where he was named the starter in 14 of Vilitas 16 qualification matches. Kater performed strongly with 6 shutouts and a 5.86 average rating. Many claim that the focus on the World Cup 57 Qualifying campaign distracted Strike players such as Kater from performing well domestically in VLeague 26. Kater ensured there would be no dissapointment in VLeague 27 leading Strike comfortably to both the League and Cup titles, repeating the feat during VLeague 29 and VLeague 30. After winning the Vilitan Cup, Stellar Division and Tropical Trophy just one more time over the next five seasons, Kater left Strike FC despite not having another contract lined up, looking to focus on the World Cup 63 Finals in nearby Turori. Humbled by the Jungle Cats epic failure in Turori, Kater went back to roots moving up the coast from Strike to Kiiara. After briefly helping at Kiiarana City, Kater switched to Kiiara-Torra and led the side to the Declasse title and an appearance in the Vilitan Cup Final, the first ever for the club.

[ 92 ] Jungrii Canopii [ - Yeaddin Owls AFC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 31 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.74 Average Rating ]
Canopii spent most of World Cup 57 Qualifications on the bench, earning three substitute appearances in official matches, though he was named starter for the mid-qualification charity match against Akbarabad to raise money for big cats, where he made 11 saves. Despite spending most of the campaign as the primary backup, Canopii was not given the opportunity to start when #1 keeper Kater missed two matches, leading doubts as to whether he is looked upon as a serious canadidate for the starting role in the future. After starting at the Inland Academy then signing for Inland Peaks, Canopii left the home-town club when they were relegated from the Stellar Division after Season 26, joining cross-range rivals Eastal Lunar. Despite being relegated to the Declasse, Canopii led Eastal Lunar to the Vilitan Cup title during Season 28. Canopii has remained loyal to Eastal Lunar despite their relegation from the Stellar Division, turning down multiple offers to join bigger clubs in the top flight. Canopii thrust back into the National Team spotlight during World Cup 60 Qualifying, stopping 5 of the 9 matches the Jungle Cats won consecutively to qualify for the World Cup through the Playoff Pod system. Canopii would lead Eastal Lunar back to the Stellar Division before being attracted by the allure of the Lirai Asku Castle in joining the Yeaddin Owls for Season 33. Canopii was named Player of the Season at Yeaddin during Season 34 and helped lead the Owls back to International competition with the conclusion of V-League Season 36.

DEFENDERS:

[ 94 ] Miiara Makose [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 97 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.64 Average Rating ]
Makose has Druidan blood, though has been diluted through multiple generations. He was trained as a goalkeeper in Turori but did not want to be stuck in the shadows of Nycflala Kater, so switched over to the defensive role when joining the Strike Academy. The transition was clearly justified as Makose was one of the top performing players in World Cup 57 qualifying, carrying a 6.65 average rating while appearing in 14 of Vilita's 16 group matches. Makose was also part of Strike's dominating VLeague 27 performances winning the League and Cup titles with the club and repeated the feat during VLeague 29, doing one better, having scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of the Cup Final against the rival Yeaddin Owls. Incredibly, Makose did it again during the Season 30 Cup Final, scoring the opening goal of Strike's 2-0 victory over Colonial Sile. The list of accomplishments for Makose continued to grow with his allegiance to his home club, including International success as champions of the Aeropag Invitational and the Cygnus Cup following Vilitan Season 38.

[ 68 ] Kadi Molali [ - Makosile - ]
------- D R ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 91 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.04 Average Rating ]
Molali has the ability to make stunning runs up the right side of the field and has put together exciting 'from-nothing' goal scoring opportunities in weekly scrimmage matches. Molali was an exciting prospect for the Turoki Academy who was solid, but not exceptional during World Cup 57 Qualifying, making 13 appearances and scoring 1 goal. After joining multiple clubs, including Strike FC, Molali left the VLeague abrubtly in the middle of VLeague 26. After some time off, Molali returned, signing for Eastal Lunar FC and completing a strong VLeague Season 27. Following Eastal Lunar's relegation, however, Molali - fearing the relegation could cost him appearances in the National Team, spent 2 seasons at Cednia Beach AFC before moving back to Vilita to play for Makosile. Molali was part of Makosile Season 38 Stellar Division championship team.

[ 4 ] Tyaoino Munviola [ - Makosile - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 21 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.91 Average Rating ]
A towering defender with a dependable head, Munviola is not afraid to join the attack on corner kicks, and rarely loses a defensive header. His feet have let him down from time to time, but have been improving. Despite his inconsistencies, Munviola was a surprise package during World Cup 57 qualifying, making 6 appearances and having a strong ratings average. After multiple seasons in the Non-League with Laiotia Locals, Munviola finally signed a league contract to play with Declasse side Mavaloiao for Season 30. Munviola's fast rise continued when making the big switch to V-League Champions Makosile for Season 32. Things fell apart quickly for the Makos who were anything but strong in their title defense, Munviola jumping ship back to the big island signing with the Yeaddin Owls for Season 33 before moving back to Sile. Munviola would once again experience success with the Makos, winning the Season 38 Stellar Division title to add to the Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy he had previously won with the club during Season 32.

[ 63 ] Baiiub Jual-Knakok [ - Makosile - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 3 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.55 Average Rating ]
A product of the Coastal Academy, Jual-Knakok is a left footed defender nicknamed "the Cricket" by his peers. The Cricket has been loyal to the Laiotia Locals in the Non-Leagues ever since signing his first professional contract, though the lack of exposure and experience has dropped him down the National Team depth chart. After multiple seasons in the Non-League with Laiotia Locals, and the Locals once again missing out on an invitation to join the League system, Jual-Knakok finally signed a league contract to play with Marine Coast United for Season 30, but quickly moved on to the Stellar Division, eventually settling with Makosile United. Although Jual-Knakok experienced an up and down career, he carries the unique distinction of having won the Stellar Division title with three different clubs (Turoki Tide, Strike FC, Makosile)

[ 9 ] Ritopa Simafela [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 125 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.59 Average Rating ]
Ritopa was a standout product of the Lunar Academy and was named as one of the captains of Vilita's World Cup 57 Qualifying Squad. The son of a Rocket Scientist and a Physicist, Simafela is already well educated and is in no way reliant on a career in sports. However, strong performances during his debut qualifying campaign including a 6.05 average rating and 2 goals spurred transfer inquiries from foreign clubs and comparisons to Vilitan greats like Enzo Ahat and Ricky Ezis. Simafela transferred to Strike FC for VLeague 27 and was an instrumental part of their double success in the League and Cup. Simafela amassed 3 Stellar Division titles, 4 Vilitan Cup championships and one Tropical Trophy victory as a member of a Strike club heavily populated with Vilitan National Team members before spending Season 35 up the coast at Kiiarana City.

[ 61 ] Endur Rotropii [ - Marine Coast United - ]
------- #N/A U21: REG: ) #N/A
Rotropii made his debut for Marine Coast United during Season 38 and quickly grew popular with the fans in Crosaibi, being named Marine Coast's player of the season in his rookie campaign.

[ 66 ] Sipaao Vereaoao [ - Kiiarana - ]
------- D L ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 29 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.88 Average Rating ]
A product of the Inland Academy, Vereaoao has played in both Vilita & Turori, but committed his future to the Jungle Cats when featuring for them as a half time substitute against Nitrome Island during World Cup 57 qualifying. Vereaoao left long-time home Inland Peaks after they failed to achieve promotion from the Declasse during VLeague 27. Vereaoao signed for Marine Coast United, who had earned promotion in addition to a place in International Competitions. However, with Marine Coast struggling to keep pace in the Stellar Division, Vereaoao jumped ship to free-spending Kiiarana for V-League Season 29, becoming a big part of the team that would challenge atop the table - finishing 3rd during Season 33 and qualifying for the UICA Champions League.

[ 67 ] Eda Shindhi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 20 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.60 Average Rating ]
Shindhi is a player in the mold of former Marine Coast defensive stalwarts Ade Hinds and Sibusiso Azaiez. While Shindhi still has some development to go before realizing his full potential, it is expected that he will continue to get a run out from time to time as his skills progress. Shindhi made his competitive debut in defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifying but did not impress in that performance. After being trainined at the Coastal Academy, Shindhi signed his first professional contract with Marine Coast United. Shindhi switched to Cednia Beach AFC when Marine Coast were relegated for V-League 27, not enjoying success there, eventually returning to Vilita to play for the Turoki Tide, finishing runners up in V-League 28. Shindhi moved to Arcticala for V-League 30.

[ 3 ] Niubo Deneli [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 60 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.82 Average Rating ]
Deneli was a solid prospect for the Strike Academy before a decline in his development after the age of 15, a time at which he was considered the best defensive prospect in the country. He ended up signing his first professional contract with local side Lonngeylin Coast, helping them get invited to the Declasse for Season 27, and helping them keep that spot for Season 28. Deneli, however, would leave the club and return to the other side of the street to play for Strike FC in Season 28. After a season and a half with his home club, Deneli found himself on the substitutes bench for the first time, and immediately requested a transfer, which was granted as he moved to Kiiarana. However, a miserable season at Kiiarana resulted in Deneli abandoning ship to ride with the Tide in Turoki, then, back to the big island to play for Arctical Inlet - quickly gaining a reputation as a bit of a journeyman despite strong performances all around.

[ 8 ] Ricata Amakra [ - Cednia Beach (Turori) - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 3 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.50 Average Rating ]
The product of the Alikka-Corra Academy is a defender being compared locally with former Alikki-Corra FC defender Emarka Laniora. While he doesn't yet share the same ability to charge up either wing with the ball, his solid defensive skills should see him earn some playing time with the National Team. Amakra has been a star performer in the Non-Leagues with the Orbital Kickers. After amassing a 10-season, 400+ match career outside the Vilitan League system, Amakra finally made the leap ahead of V-League Season 37 signing for Morata Valley and moving back to the main island. After two seasons in Morata Valley, Amakra switched to Cednia Beach AFC in Turori for Season 39.

[ 64 ] Uajiala Pulkki [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.54 Average Rating ]
Pulkki is a descendent of former Inland Peaks FC defender Pasi Pulkki, and many are saying he could even be better then his ancestors. Pulkki unfortunately lasted barely 22 minutes in his competitive debut against Ipeland in World Cup 57 qualifying, but has put in some more impressive performances since. Like many of his teammates, Pulkki left Inland Peaks after their relegation in VLeague 26, and headed over to Eastal Lunar. Pulkki was a star for Eastal during VLeague 27 earning a transfer to former champions Cednia Beach AFC for VLeague 28. After a season and a half in Cednia Beach, Pulkki moved to the Turoki Tide at the midway point of V-League Season 29, becoming the backbone of a defense that would lead the Tide to their first Stellar Division title(s) in addition to becoming the first Vilitan Club to lift UICA hardware, winning the Globe Cup, Super Cup and UICA Champions Cup.

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 36 ] Retiso Buran [ - Makosile - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 112 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.22 Average Rating ]
Retiso Buran was the top prospect at the Sile Academy specializing in the defensive midfield role once made famous by Jürgen Ramzi. Buran is a ferocious player who some has said can be seen with teeth gritted ready to pounce as the attacking side approaches. Appearing almost exclusively during World Cup 57 qualifying, Buran missed only one game and scored 2 goals during the campaign. Burans perofmances both for the National Team and for Makosile earned him a transfer to Strike FC for Season 27, where he earned the Vilitan Stellar Divisions top goalscorer award for the second consecutive season, the first time ever achieved by a midfielder. After spending 10 seasons at Strike the aging Buran wwas pushed out by Babbage stalwart Coll Brodie and recruited by Arcticala Inlet to try to right their failed attempt at avoiding relegation. After relegation, Buran decided to return home signing for Makosile prior to V-League 38.

[ 39 ] Tujamu Treola [ - Colonial Sile - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 28 CAPS: 38 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.59 Average Rating ]
A product of the Strike Academy, Tujamu Treola excels both defensively in the midfield, and with his head both defensively and on corner kicks. Treola made his competitive debut in World Cup 57 qualifying against West Zirconia. After spending the majority of his youth at Tivali United, Treola joined Jlinal Cove in the middle of Season 31 to attempt to save them from relegation but was unsuccessful, later making the switch back to the Stellar Division, spending one season with Arcticala Inlet before moving to Sile to play with Colonial, winning both the Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy with the club.

[ 34 ] Danie Izmao [ - Kionao Locals (Turori) - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 13 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.72 Average Rating ]
Izmao was a Strike Academy prospect who, while not rated as the highest defensive midfield prospect at the academy, was still expected to get a run out with the National Squad in World Cup 57 Qualifiers. That chance never came, and the Venom weren't interested when it came time to award professional contracts. Izmao went across the road to Lonngeylin Coast and was instrumental in helping them not only get invited to rejoin the Vilitan League System - but for the first time ever, to stay there for at least a second consecutive season. Izmao's career never really took off, languishing at Kiiarana City before seeking a new challenge in Turori with the Kionao Locals

[ 38 ] Dronik Ratuva [ - Morata Valley - ]
------- DM RLC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 8 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.88 Average Rating ]
"Dronik Ratuva was an exciting prospect from the Valley Academy, who is also able to move wide to defensively cover the wings when 2 or 3 central defenders are used. Ratuva helped Morata Valley earn promotion to the Stellar Division during VLeague 26. Ratuva has continually been named Player of the Season at Morata Valley and

helped lead them to their best ever Stellar Division placement of 5th during Season 37, also earning the side a place in the UICA Champions Cup.
"

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 25 ] Kiroki Mitaroka [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 26 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.14 Average Rating ]
After starting at the Turoki Locals in the Lower Leagues, Mitaroka's talent was spotted by Inland Peaks FC who snapped the youngster up for V-League season 29. At the midway point of the season Mitaroka was setting the Declasse on fire with skillful performances and caught the attention of the Vilitan coaches who added Mitaroka to the World Cup 59 roster despite having never been called to the National Team before. After their promotion back to the Stellar Division for season 38, the Electricians of Arctical Inlet made Mitaroka their primary target, landing him for a large transfer fee. Mitaroka helped lead the Tide back to the UICA Champions Cup but proved to be a true rental when he moved again to Turoki United prior to Season 39.

[ 73 ] Manolis Kontalroma [ - Yeaddin Owls AFC - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 50 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.66 Average Rating ]
A product of the Kiiara Academy, Manolis Kontalroma can play central or on the left side in a classic midfield role. After signing professionally with Jlinal Cove FC, Kontalroma joined the Yeaddin Owls during Vleague 26. Kontalroma stayed at Yeaddin for over 3 seasons before joining the Turoki Tide during VLeague 30. Kontalroma played just 9 games for the Tide before the Owls snapped him back up for Season 31, a return to form of sorts as the Owls returned to the title picture.

[ 70 ] Aniara Jiurjai [ - Mliona-Lpaka (Turori) - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 30 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.12 Average Rating ]
Jiurjai was trained in Turori but declared for Vilita after being called upon for World Cup 57 Qualifying. Jiurjai can play both central and outside midfield and can use both feet equally well. After declaring for Vilita, Jiurjai moved from Turori to Turoki to play with the Turoki Tide. Strong performances during VLeague 26 earned Jiurjai a transfer to Strike for VLeague 27 where the midfielder was instrumental to Strike's League and Cup double. However, Strike's success would eventually lead to Jiurjai being excessed as an influx of new signings joined the club, and the midfielder opted to move to Arcticala Inlet when the contract allowed during Season 31, accomplishing little before moving on to Kiiarana City, performing equally unimpressively. Jiurjai had a career-best performance during Season 35 after moving to Colonial Sile, netting 3 goals.

[ 78 ] Relmar Winauat [ - Strike FC - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 19 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.19 Average Rating ]
Winauat was a product of the Turoki Academy who has been known to hit some quality long range shots. However, he has also been known to blast the ball over the net from 5 or 6 yards out. Winauat was part of Strike FC's VLeague 27 championship side.

[ 55 ] Viliaka Morasita [ - Strike FC - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.36 Average Rating ]
Morasita was the top prospect coming out of the Tivali Academy, playing central and left midfield. His sure footed tackling ability is noted but he is a well balanced midfielder. After playing a season and a half professionally for Alikki-Corra, Morasita joined the Vilitan League with Inland Peaks FC midway through VLeague 27. After spending 3 succesful seasons in the Declasse, Morasita transfered to Stellar Division side Cednia Beach AFC during Season 31. Morasita spent just one season in Cednia before moving to Makosile where he helped the Makos win the Vilitan Cup during Season 32. Strong performances for the Makos earned Morasita a transfer to Lonngeylin where Morasita was instrumental in helping Strike claim the Season 34 Stellar Division title.

[ 29 ] Cristoh Nrubari [ - - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 10 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.58 Average Rating ]
Nrubari was a prospect out of the Kiiara Academy who signed his first professional contract with Mliona-Lpaka in Turori. Nrubari was instrumental in Mliona-Lpaka's return to the Stellar Division before moving on to other opportunities. Nrubari got the chance to play in the UICA Champions League, joining Makosile United after their breakthrough Season 31 Stellar Division title.

[ 51 ] Steffyn Siazzu [ - Strike FC - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 114 :: GOALS::SR: 14 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.36 Average Rating ]
An exciting prospect from the Yeaddin Academy, Siazzu plays behind the strikers in a clean up or attacking role atop the midfield. Despite not scoring during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Siazzu was an important presence. After spending many seasons in Yeaddin, Siazzu moved to the Turoki Tide, helping them to runners-up in the VLeague29 table.

[ 74 ] Jian Lejsrma [ - Morata Valley - ]
------- AM RL ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 72 :: GOALS::SR: 17 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.99 Average Rating ]
Lejsrma is a speed demon who was trained at the Strike Academy. The most dynamic and pacey winger in the Vilitan system, he is expected to be a great player for many seasons to come. At this stage in his development, he may get overlooked as he works more on his technique and vision, but with experience, he will learn these skills. Lejsrma has been an important part of Strike FC's VLeague successes. After winning yet another V-League title with Strike during Season 37, Lejsrma decided it was time fora new challenge and made the switch to Season 37 5th-place finishers Morata Valley.

[ 28 ] Riksa Valjariia [ - Strike FC - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 55 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.10 Average Rating ]
Valjariia is an attacking midfielder who was trained at the Turoki Academy. Valjariia tends to come on the pitch to provide an attack boost, some times as a second attacking midfielder in a substitute role. Valjariia played professionally for Inland Peaks FC before moving to the Turoki Tide

[ 27 ] Rexii Tzikas [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 101 :: GOALS::SR: 23 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.89 Average Rating ]
Tzikas was the top propsect of the Arcticala Academy, and one of the most highly rated players in the Vilitan National Team pool entering World Cup 57 Qualifiers. The Tzikas name has some history in Vilitan Sport, formerly, Toby Tzikas was a midfielder on the National Team, though he was less known than other former Vilitan Stars as he played his club football in Starblaydia. Rexii was the only Vilitan player to start every single match during qualifications for World Cup 57. His presence was strong averaging a 6.01 rating with 2 goals. Tzikas strong performances also were reflected domestically scoring 9 goals in 2 seasons with Turoki Tide before transferring to Cednia Beach for VLeague 28 season. Tzikas returned home to Turoki during Season 31, rejoining the Tide after 3 seasons in Turori.

[ 21 ] Jomur Hulyer [ - Mliona-Lpaka (Turori) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 141 :: GOALS::SR: 25 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.70 Average Rating ]
A decsendent of the exciting Marine Coast and Yeaddin midfielder Jonjo Hulyer, Jomur has been compared heavily to his ancestors and even carries the same squad number. Unlike Jonjo, however, Jomur was trained at the Yeaddin Academy. Hulyer would soon become the quickest player to ever represent all three of the original Vilitan Dynasties, signing his first professional contract with Marine Coast United before transferring to Strike for VLeague 28. The list of honors earned by Hulyer in Lonngeylin was massive, with 5 appearances in the Tropical Trophy, 3 Stellar Division Championships and a Vilitan Cup title in addition to being a finalist for Vilitan player of the Season every season he spent in Lonngeylin. After Strike failed to claim a Champions League place following Season 35, Hulyer decided it was time for a change of scenery, moving to Turori to join forces with Mliona-Lpaka FC.

[ 53 ] Resaie Kentiak [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 83 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.94 Average Rating ]
Kentiak is a product of the Coastal Academy who has played a substitute role in the center of midfield for the Vilitan National Team.

[ 25 ] Lopaki Kilpter [ - Kiiarana City - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 19 CAPS: :: GOALS::SR: U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After coming up through the Strike Academy, the younger Kilpter played 40 matches over 2 seasons winning a Stellar Division title before shifting up the coast to Kiiarana to enjoy a regular place in the starting 11.

FORWARDS:

[ 43 ] Kristofer Kilpter [ - East Franz Athletic (PIS) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 85 :: GOALS::SR: 34 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.76 Average Rating ]
Kilpter is joint Vilitan & Turori national, but declared to play for Vilita, with the lure of World Cup competition in Vilita's entry into World Cup 57 the key decision maker after the Turorian side was not entered. Kilpter netted 4 times during the World Cup 57 campaign but missed three matches due to an undisclosed injury. After struggling to win silverware with the Yeaddin Owls, Kilpter made the Largest Transfer in V-League history (12.7 kT) to Turorian side Cednia Beach. The transfer was more than double the 4.5kT previous transfer record in the Vilitan League, which was also payed by Cednia Beach to Yeaddin (for Antonis Siazzu). The struggles continued for Kilpter in the hunt for Silverware as Cednia Beach simply could not get over the hurdle, either in the V-League or in the UICA Champions League. Cednia Beach recouped their transfer fee in dishing Kilpter out to East Franz Athletic in the Polar Islandstates prior to Season 33. A rejuvinated Kilpter received praise for his performances in the Polar Islandstates while Cednia Beach would go on to miss out on Champions Cup qualification for the first time. Kilpter's international career has bolstered since his departure from the Tropics, having regained his place in the side for World CUp 64 Qualifying in a 3-player rotation with Erocka Lorei and Viji-mara Lawaai.

[ 49 ] Xcnaio Bansoa [ - Makosile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 27 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.85 Average Rating ]
Bansoa was a training partner of Sirkii Moliaudo at the Coastal Academy, and many believed that Moliaudo's prowess in front of goal was due solely to his close partnership with Bansoa. After not being called to the line during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Bansoa decided it was time for a change, breaking ties with Moliaudo and Marine Coast United, signing for Arcticala Inlet in the Stellar Division. Bansoa featured frequently for the Jungle Cats during the World Cup 58 Campaign, performing well, but scoring no goals, relegating him from the top selection in the subsequent Cup of Harmony held in Vilita and New Montreal States.

[ 17 ] Viji-mara Lawaai [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 99 :: GOALS::SR: 23 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.03 Average Rating ]
Trained at the Strike Academy, Lawaai has excelled at shooting from long range, and making space on the edge of the penalty area with crafty turns, and may produce opportunities for free kicks if he wears down the opposition approaching the box. Lawaii made 8 substitute appearances during World Cup 57 qualifying, making his competitive debut against Krytenia, but failed to find the scoresheet. Lawaai would quickly become one of the most important players in the National Team set up, making over 100 appearances for the National Team. While Lawaai's goal-scoring rate was not as high as the likes of Banda or Mbidzo - or even compared with most of his modern era teammates, Lawaai's on-field influence and playmaking skills are often cited as the reasons he keeps his place in the starting lineup.

[ 13 ] Yves Gadois [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 28 CAPS: 45 :: GOALS::SR: 17 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.32 Average Rating ]
Gadois became a hot topic in Vilita after rising to glory as the spearhead for Strike FC's Vleague 27 championship, with 8 league goals and an incredibly 6 goals in the Vilitan Cup. Gadois, a product of the Inland Academy, earned an invitation to the National Team Training camp for the first time in the build up to World Cup 58. While Gadois' international career was overshadowed by teammate Viji-mara Lawaai, Gadois performances at Strike FC would see the player lavished with medals, awards and accomplishments including multiple Stellar Division, Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy titles, as well as many Vilitan player of the Season awards.

[ 44 ] Erocka Lorei [ - Kiiarana City - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 48 :: GOALS::SR: 29 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.95 Average Rating ]
The top attacking prospect at the Kiiara Academy, Erocka Lorei was expected to get quite a few chances to impress on the national stage during World Cup 57 Qualifying and did not dissapoint, leading the Vilitan team in goals scored with 5 in the competition despite only featuring in 11 out of 16 matches. Lorei claims to be a penalty kick specialist but has not been known for his aerial ability. Lorei signed professionally for Declasse side Liguon Valley during Season 26, but moved on to the Stellar Division during Season 27 with Makosile. During World Cup 64 Qualifying, Lorei became just the third Jungle Cat in history to score 10 goals during a single campaign, leading all players.

[ 41 ] Nili Ylimaiina [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 6 :: GOALS::SR: U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.75 Average Rating ]
Regarded as the 'next great thing' in a long line of Vilitan forwards when he made his debut for Kiiarana City, Ylimaiina has since moved to Arcticala Inlet in hopes of leading the Electricians back to their former glory. Ylimaiina was born in Vilita but also contains Starblaydi blood on his Mother's side.

[ 9 ] Lita Adjei [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 23 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.56 Average Rating ]
A product of the Turoki Academy, Adjei has sport in the blood, being a descendent of former Stellar Division top Forward award winner Ippolit Adjei. Adjei moved on a loan to newly promoted Hojosan in The Yorozura after WC57 quals as part of an investment deal with the clubs kit sponsors, VIlitan based Vilaye energy drink. When that deal expired, Adjei returned to the Vilitan League, being snapped up by Kiiarana in the Stellar Division and quickly rising to the level of stardom with strong performances and crucial goals during Season 29, seeing the single-cap player called to the squad for World Cup 59. Adjei's impressive performances earned him a high-profile transfer to Arcticala Inlet for V-League 30 where the strong performances continued, including earning the highest performance rating in the V-League during Season 33 while scoring 11 goals. After the Electricians began dropping down the table, Adjei bolted to Colonial Sile for Season 35 in a high-profile transfer that resulted in 11 goals during Adjei's debut season in Sile. After spending two seasons in Sile, Adjei moved to Yeaddin to play for the Owls during Season 37. After just one season in Yeaddin, Adjei switched to Strike FC to form the fearsome threesome with Viji-mara Lawaai and Yves Gadois.

Head Coach: Ematea Saenu
An on-again/off-again relationship between the Gibbons family and the Turori National Team continues for World Cup 63 as Abraham, Jake and Aaron Gibbons join the National Team setup under the guidance of their father Mikael. The Gibbons family was kicked out of Darmen after a vote-buying scandal at Eau Claire Aris Football Club. However, Gibbon's role as Head Coach has been reduced to that as Training Coach, allowing him more time to focus on the development of his son's to the Turorian system, as well as to protect against Gibbons' death in a parallel Wyvern universe to catch up with the former Darmeni manager and end his term in this universe. Turori's Ematea Saenu will take over the duties of Head Coach for the World Cup 63 Finals.

[ 86 ] Hooizo Nuakoi [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 36 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Nuakoi, a dual Vilitan & Turorian national, entered World Cup 58 qualifying uncapped and undeclared for either Nation. Nuakoi was widely expected to openly declare Turorian Nationality going into the qualifying, but with the rise of rival Ronji Miiastara, Nuakoi decided to leave the door open to a Vilitan return should he remain uncapped for Turori. After spending Season 26 and 27 at Turoki Isle, Nuakoi made the move to the Yeaddin Owls midway through Season 27 to become their #1 keeper. Nuakoi returned to Turoki during Season 29, joining the Turoki Tide as they finished runners up in the Stellar Division. Nuakoi was important in the Tide's success in the Tropical Trophy, the clubs first major Top-Level silverware, before rising to prominence in the lore's of the opening of a new chapter of Sporting Success in Turoki. Nuakoi led the Tide to the Stellar Division championship during Seasons 32 and 33 before a remarkable run to defeat rivals Strike FC in the 40th Globe Cup Final for Turoki's first International club competition title. Nuakoi's performances in goal were critical as a 0-0 shutout performance in the final match gave the Tide a remarkable victory in the UICA Super Cup, the first Vilitan League side to lift the trophy.

[ 1 ] Ronji Miiastara [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 64 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Miiastara joined Marine Coast United in Vilita for their V-League 27 campaign in the Declasse, just the second ever for the club at that level. Miiastara was tasked with keeping the ball out of the net, and he did just that, helping lead Marine Coast United back to the Stellar Division at the first attempt leading up to V-League 28. After competing in the UICA 'B' Champions League, Marine Coast finished a respectable 7th place in the V-League but just missed out on a UICA place. Miiastara jumped ship to Kiiarana City in order to participate in the UICA Globe Cup prior to Season 29. While Kiiarana did not make the huge title push expected of them, Miiastara let in a career low 14 goals during Season 30, leading Kiiarana to a runner up finish in the Stellar Division a place in the UICA Champions League and a Tropical Trophy victory. It would be the lone high point at the club for Miiastara, however. After losing his 'ever present' status as National Team goalkeeper to the domestically succesful Hooizo Nuakoi, Miiastara made the switch to Colonial for Season 35 and immediately added a second Tropical Trophy victory to his resume. However, Miiastara didn't stay long, moving back to long-time home Kiiarana City.

[ 82 ] Mumau Atla-Siioai [ - Turoki United (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 12 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
A Dual Vilita & Turori National, Atla-Siioai was invited to the Vilitan World Cup 57 Training camp - but so were 6 other goalkeepers. Atla-Siioai transferred from the Kionao Locals to Vilitan side Turoki United for the V-League 27 season. While his play for Turoki was solid, the impact of Atla-Siioai's presence was most evident back in Turori as the Locals were relegated from the V-League with a club record 20 defeats. While showing the importance of having Atla-Siioai in the squad, the fact that the Goalkeeper left the Locals high and dry has not left a good impression on their Turorian fanbase. Atla-Siioai has, however, made a name for himself in Turoki, repeatedly being named Supporters Player of the Season and leading the team into UICA Competition places including the clubs first UICA Champions Cup appearance following Season 36. Atla-Siioai has been the Player of the Year at Turoki United every season since joining the club.

[ 93 ] G.Q Disterfred II [ - Inura Forests - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 16 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Young prospect Disterfred pushed Inura Forests into the top half of the Season 38 Declasse, earning player of the season honors at the club and earning recognition as a serious propsect for the National Team.

DEFENDERS:

[ 12 ] Diauro Dlaminii [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 82 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Dlaminii started his career at Vilitan lower league side Alona Sissil where he impressed greatly, warranting interest from all the top named V-League sides. Dlaminii eventually decided to head home to Turori, signing with Cednia Beach AFC where he competed in all of the clubs V-League 27 matches.

[ 3 ] Lioniaa Tana [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- D/DM LC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 102 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tana is one of the most athetlically skilled defensive players in the Turorian arsenal, although Tana's weakness shines in technical areas like heading and man to man marking. After starting their career at Vilitan side Rammsissil, Tana moved to Eastal Lunar FC during V-League 27, winning the Vilitan Cup with the team during Season 28 but relegation triggered a clause allowing Tana to return home to Turori with Cednia Beach AFC for Season 29. After a miserable campaign which saw Tana without Champions Cup competition, Tana joined the Turoki Tide for Season 34, doing so in time for their 43rd UICA Cycle run. The Tide lifted the UICA Globe Cup and UICA Super Cup, one of three Turorian players on the roster for the Tide's Triumph. Tana was named Turorian player of the Season for Season 35 and 36.

[ 2 ] Yoains Konoaafeo [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 92 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Konoaafeo was the top defensive product of the Yeaddin Academy and was expected to be part of the Vilitan national team set up due to this fact. However, after not being capped during World Cup 57 Qualifying, and learning of Turori's intention to enter World Cup 58, Konoaafeo switched allegiances both for club and country. After playing half of V-League 26 with the Kionao Locals, Konoaafeo moved to Cednia Beach AFC where he would lead the Coconut Kickers to their second V-League championship, being named Turorian player of the season in the process.

[ 5 ] Noa-isinao Wioauoi [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 24 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Noa-isinao Wioauoi ws a product of the Yeaddin Academy who caught the eye of one Yeaddin reporter at a training session doing ball handling tricks, and the shared video went viral, sparking a campaign including a fan website and even local town council requests to invite the youngster into the Vilita National Team training camp for World Cup 57. Wioauoi was invited to the camp, but never impressed coaches Massa and Wrice enough to be capped during the process. Wioauoi, born in Turori despite leaving in Vilita, accepted an invitation from the Football Association of Turori to train with them in preparation for a playing role in the World Cup 58 Qualifiers. Wioauoi has spent most of his career at Arcticala Inlet, though did make a brief stop in Turoki to play a season and a half with the Tide.

[ 4 ] Balariita Muzmaara [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 27 CAPS: 20 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Muzmaara, one of the youngest players ever invited to a Turorian National Team training camp (Ignoring the Cocoboas), joining the Terrarokka Spirit during Season 27. After spending seasons bouncing between the League and Amateur levels, Muzmaara finally moved to play full time for the Kionao Locals, spending two seasons at home in Turori

[ 61 ] Moia Fliporta [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- D/DM L ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 11 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Fliporta started their career at Laiotia Locals in the Non-League system of Vilita. Known for aerobic ability such as speed, acceleration and the ability to jump higher than most anyone on the pitch, Fliporta is otherwise not particularly great at the technical aspects of the game. After holding out to remain the star at non-league Laiotia City, Fliporta finally 'sold out' and moved to the Stellar Division to play for Kiiarana City.

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 22 ] Restiaa Mumamba [ - Yeaddin Owls (Vilita) - ]
------- ATH ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 100 :: GOALS::SR: 3 )
Mumamba was the definition of a versatile player for Vilita's Yeaddin Owls after joining them for the V-League 27 season from Jlinal Cove FC. Mumamba played in every position from Central Defender to Striker, scoring a game winning goal in one game and a game saving tackle in the next. Mumamba is an expert choice for a third sub or to allow tactical changes on the pitch without substitutions being made. The strong and versatile performances of Mumamba during Season 28 earned Mumamba a high profile transfer to defending Stellar Division champions Arcticala Inlet but he left the Electricians the following season to be apart of the growing Yeaddin Owls squad. Mumamba spent 4 seasons in Yeaddin without recording any meaningful domestic awards other than the Season 29 Turorian Player of the Season award. The lure of international competition was too great for Mumamba who joined the Turoki Tide for Season 34, doing so in time for their 43rd UICA Cycle run. Mumamba helpd the Tide lift the UICA Globe Cup and UICA Super Cup, one of three Turorian players on the roster for the Tide's Triumph. However, after achieving glory with the Tide, Mumamba returned to his former club Yeaddin, vowing to one day bring the same success back to the Lirai Asku Castle.

[ 22 ] Klaillal Tuirma [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- ATH ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 )
Descendant of Season 4 Turorian Player of the Season and National team legend Cuolia Tuirma, Klaillal will work with Restiaa Mumamba to become the future "All-Around" player for the Turori National Team. Playing in a unique role, Tuirma will be expected to fill the role of being able to play every game, in every position - even Goalkeeper, if there are no subs left. Tuirma will certainly be starting as a substitute during their debut campaign in World Cup 62 but may get the chance to start against weaker opposition. After being brought up through the academy system at Kionao, Tuirma signed a professional contract with Colonial Sile in Vilita for Season 35, winning silverware in the first match, the Tropical Trophy triumph over Strike. Tuirma's stay in Sile didn't last long, however, coaxed back to the luxury of Arcticala Inlet to help in their Champions-Cup qualifying campaign of Season 38.

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 6 ] Raso Tareak [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 90 :: GOALS::SR: 12 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tareak joined Jlinal Cove FC in Vilita for V-League 26 helping the club to a respectable 8th place finish. In V-League 27, Tareak's peformances improved with a pair of goals helping Jlinal to an all-time best finish of 4th place in the standings. Tareak's impressive performances in Jlinal earned him a transfer, first to Turorian UICA Champions League representatives Cednia Beach AFC, then to the Yeaddin Owls for V-League 30 before moving to Jungle Strike FC

[ 17 ] Cediici Tzatzos [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- M R ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 96 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
A determined winger, Tzatzos is a product of the Strike Academy and remained a bit-part player for the club when the Vilitan League resumed for Season 26. Tzatsos was part of Strike's Stellar Division winning Season 27 side while being named Turorian Player of the Season, but when the success did not repeat itself during Season 28, Tzatzos was transfered to Kiiarana City. Looking to take a step back, Tzatzos moved across town to Kiiara-Torra in the Declasse division and helped to orchestrate a masterful promotion during season 33. Tzatzos would not stick around, however, looking to make the quick jump to the upper half of the table, signing for Makosile United.

[ 16 ] Rutaj Ranaso [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 41 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Ranaso moved from Turori to the nearby island of Turoki to play for Mavaloiao FC in the Vilitan Declasse when the league resumed for Season 26. After 2 strong seasons at the Declasse side, Ranaso joined Stellar Division side Eastal Lunar for V-League Season 28 and helped them win the Vilitan Cup despite relegation from the Stellar Division. Ranaso wouldn't stick around in the lower leagues, however, spending two seasons in Turori before moving to the Turoki Tide where he would win a UICA Champions Cup title.

[ 22 ] Etamara Kulkkiia [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 11 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Kulkkiia was developed at the Cednia Beach Academy having been highly scouted and recruited by teams throughout Turori and even Vilita. After the Turori Eels failure to qualify for World Cup 64, Kulkkiia became the subject of media attention questioning whether the aging crop of players should make way for younger players like Kulkkiia in the Esportiva-hosted Cup of Harmony for World Cup 64.

[ 13 ] Vrotaoa Lorasoiba [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 96 :: GOALS::SR: 9 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Lorasoiba's impressive performances for Turoki United, including 5 goals during the V-League 26 season, earned a high-value transfer to top Vilitan side Arcticala Inlet AFC. While it took Lorasoiba some time to get settled into life on the big Island, Lorasoiba's performances were enough to get an invitation to the Turori National Training camp for World Cup 58. Lorasoiba would impress on an international level, becoming one of the most important players in the Eels lineup, and also returned home domestically to help in the rise of Mliona-Lpaka as a domestic and international threat.

[ 38 ] Tiika Diirotora [ - Kiiarana (Vilita) - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 45 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Diirotora is a dedicated and well travelled midfielder who made a name for themselves while leading Kiiarana City to the Vilitan Cup Final in V-League 27. After starting their career in the Liguon Valley, Diirotora made the leap to the Stellar Division for Season 27 and the move payed off with 4 goals and a post season transfer back home to Turori with mega-club Cednia Beach AFC. Diirotora spent a season at Makosile before joining Strike for Season 30.

[ 7 ] Rikko Rawaii [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 91 :: GOALS::SR: 17 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Rawaii's dribbling ability coupled with lightning pace make him a threat any time he touches the ball, to create something even from nothing with a few quick moves. Rawaii is not known so much as a goalscorer, instead, an opportunity creator. Rawaii was named Player of the Year at Arcticala Inlet during Season 26 and was named Turorian player of the year during Season 27 when Inlet won the Tropical Trophy. Rawaii would win the Stellar Division with Arcticala Inlet during Season 29 finishing second in the goalscoring race.

[ 70 ] Aaron Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 34 CAPS: 4 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 12 ] Jake Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 1 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 23 ] Inlite Makakio [ - Inura Forests - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 16 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

FORWARDS:

[ 8 ] Liinai Zakazaka [ - Makosile (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 102 :: GOALS::SR: 40 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Zakazaka joined Jlinal Cove FC for the V-League 27 season and gained some attention back in Turori for their contribution to the 'Cove's impressive top-4 finish in the final standings. Zakazaka was named Jlinal Cove's top player during Season 28.

[ 19 ] Jukkia Diijelhma [ - Jlinal Cove FC (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 45 :: GOALS::SR: 12 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Born in Starblaydia, Diijelhma moved to Turori following V-League Season 26 to pursue a new career in the Island Emirate. Diijelhma was one of the few Kionao Locals players in their disasterous V-League 27 season to receive even neutral reviews. Despite scoring no goals on the season, the Striker showed some skill that was required for the Locals to avoid another relegation in Season 28, and also proved to be useful for the Turori National team. After 7 seasons in Kionao, Diijelhma moved to Vilita to play for Jlinal Cove along side National Team star Liinai Zakazaka.

[ 18 ] Loala Kigoouao [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 71 :: GOALS::SR: 22 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Kigoouao signed for Morata Valley FC for V-League 26 and instantly made an impact at the Vilitan club, earning Top Goalscorer honors in the Declasse while leading Morata Valley to Stellar Division Promotion. Kigoouao was unfazed by the higher level of competition, upping the goal count to 16 in Season 27 and firmly setting the expectation that they would be the go-to forward for the Turori National Team in World Cup 58. Kigoouao was named Morata Valley player of the season during Season 27 and 28. After many outstanding seasons at Morata Valley, Kigoouao joined the Turoki Tide for V-League 30.

[ 9 ] Anuh Ciniima [ - Morata Valley (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 47 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Ciniima was born in Turori to Misrantian parents before moving to Vilita to study and train for his sporting career. The unselfish striker joined Morata Valley after their promotion to the Stellar Division for Season 27 as a compliment to Turorian Striker Loala Kigoouao. Ciniima, while able to put the ball in the net when needed, has shown to be an expert decision maker, recording twice as many assists as goals inside the box.

[ 80 ] Abraham Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 36 CAPS: 1 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 34 ] Inamari Altariiz [ - Mliona-Lpaka - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 16 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Altariiz was instantly identified as a high-quality prospect at Mliona-Lpaka and was promoted to the senior squad at 16 years of age taking up a starting role in Mliona-Lpaka's Season 38 campaign.
[ 24 ] Enluta Makakio [ - Strike FC (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 16 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After coming through the ranks in Kionao, Makakio's performances got the attention of the scouts at Strike FC who signed the young Turorian attacker for their Season 39 campaign.

Kinitaria National Football Team
For the 65th World Cup Qualifiers
Image

Following a fifth consecutive failure to qualify for the last World Cup, going out with a whimper at the playoff stage, Kristijan Evinov was relieved of his managerial duties. Jeruselem girl Melody Pond came in and promptly steered Kinitaria through a terrible Cup of Harmony and an AOCAF that wasn't much better. Qualification for the World Cup is the minimum expected by the impatient Federation.

Manager: Melody Pond (age 34)
Here is the one to guide the hopes of a nation - Jeruselem's Melody Pond. The reserved but capable manager has guided her Jeru FC team to a World Cup qualification, and Kinitaria are desperately hoping for her to repeat the feat with the boys in blue. A disastrous Cup of Harmony has given fuel to those who opposed her appointment, and she has work to do to win over the doubters.
Pond favours attacking play, and is very much in tune with the physical side of the game, a management style which Kinitar fans will be sure to take to. She's known to prefer a laidback, hands-off approach to management which could go either way with regards to some of the egos in the Kinitaria side. It's critical that her Kinitar side shakes off the "perennial flops" tag in the World Cup.

Players
After being widely criticised for experimenting with her team's formations in crucial games, it looks like a standard 4-4-2 for Melody. But she's lost some crucial players ahead of the World Cup, age forcing some former stars to retire from international football.

1. Costin Petran - GK - age 37 - 1. Maja - 144 caps - 0 goals
Petran has been here from the start, keeping guard in Kinitaria's successful Baptism of Fire campaign ten years ago from the start of qualifying. Goalkeepers will peak between 32 and 35, according to most conventional football wisdom, so fans will be hoping that Pond has based her loyalty to Petran on concrete foundations. Realistically, if Kinitaria don't get to this World Cup, he's never going to play in it.

2. Karl Sala - LB - age 32 - Mi'ato - 120 caps - 2 goals
Sala has been an established member of the team right from their first game. An old-fashioned sort of left-back, he aims to make life hard for oncoming attackers, and will always stand his ground, although he's now not as fast as he once was. He has been known to put in some harsh tackles, and this is shown by his disciplinary record, since he's been sent off eight times in his national career.

3. Doran Lupei - CB - age 32 - Litora United - 124 caps - 4 goals (Captain)
The loyal, talented defender is great at marking, sticking closely to his man and breaking up attacks through the middle. He's proven himself to be the anchor of a Kinitar back line which has often been criticised for being fragile, and his performance will likely be crucial if the defence are to stick together and work as a unit. He's earned the captain's armband for both club and country through his loyalty, sticking with Litora United at a time when the club was going into meltdown.

4. Sebastien Sykora - CB - age 33 - AFC Damaciu - 116 caps - 3 goals
Maybe not the most technically gifted of defenders, Sykora has nevertheless established himself as a regular in the national side. He's no stranger to the occasional error, having cost Kinitaria crucial goals on at several occasions in his career, and was part of the Damaciu side which slipped down the league in the latter half of last season. Despite this, he is versatile and can drift into new positions as needed, and he has also been known to notch a few goals himself, mainly headed efforts from corners.

5. Anton Spirlea - RB - age 31 - Mi'ato City - 123 caps - 0 goals
Rounding off the veteran defence is an accomplished team player who is well capable of performing under pressure. Spirlea is known for his excellent distribution of the ball, able to pick out a team-mate and start a counter attack with ease. He never panics when pressed and prefers to play his way out of trouble rather than hoofing the ball upfield. It's very rare to see him make a mistake and if he does have a flaw, it would be that he tends to let his complacency get the better of him.

6. Sergiu Vacarestič - LW - age 30 - Avnani Athletic - 116 caps - 26 goals
Vacarestič is now one of the first names on the teamsheet, despite a shaky start to his Kinitaria career. He is an attacking-minded winger who slots perfectly into Kinitaria's formation, and he's just as likely to cut inside and have a go at goal as well as sending in a cross from the left - preferring to cross early and attempt to beat the offside trap.

7. Samuel Costica - CM - age 27 - Inovita - 33 caps - 3 goals
He's made a strong and consistent impact on the national team since being brought through from the youths in the 62 qualifiers, and now he's been rewarded for years of good service with a spot in the first team and the number seven shirt. Expect him to try to use his pace to beat his marker before spreading the ball out wide to launch an attack. Distribution is definitely one of his strong points.

8. Kristijan Preda - CM - age 33 - Jan Mayen Islanders (PIS) - 106 caps - 22 goals
Preda is an accomplished free-kick taker and can also head a ball well. After some time in the wilderness, he fought to work his way back into the first-team, and has impressed both Melody Pond and Kinitaria's fans with some shining performances, often being the only light in the Kinitar squad at a time when the national team has been putting in some pretty dismal performances.

9. Milan Beskid - CF - age 29 - Universita Tirinthea - 37 caps - 11 goals
The talented striker can finish like no other and functions best with a strike partner to spur him on to greater heights. He's not one for spectacular goals, instead, he's a consistent threat to opposition defences if he gets so much as a sight of goal within the penalty area. He's been handed the number nine shirt for the upcoming campaign, now it's down to him to prove that he deserves to keep it..

10. Luka Sabčot - CF - age 34 - Mi'ato City - 137 caps - 97 goals (Vice-captain)
Kinitaria's famous talisman is really ageing at this point. He doesn't have that extra yard of pace, the one spark of magic, that he was once able to produce, and he's probably only got the number ten shirt for sentimental value, plus his long-term strike partner Mihalcič has retired from international football, citing his age. It's quite possibly his last chance to ever reach the World Cup Finals, though, and he still has enough about him to really change a game.

11. Duska Avramov - RM - age 35 - FC Serenberg - 39 caps - 7 goals
Having been thrown in at the deep end, Avramov has impressed consistently in the national team. He is an offensively-minded player, great with crossing, even scores a few, but he's not the most reliable if called upon to defend. He fits nicely into a traditional Kinitar attacking system and, after proving himself in the past, will be looking to keep up this run of form during the next few matches.

12. Jaren Kozak - GK - age 33 - Mi'ato - 2 caps - 0 goals
Kozak is a decent keeper, he's yet to reach his peak, and he's helped his club Mi'ato to three straight top-two finishes. However, he hasn't been able to get a look-in for the national team thanks to Kinitaria's staunch refusal to rotate their goalkeeper. He'll grab his chance if he can get it, but there's a good chance that it won't come this cycle.

13. David Topol - CB - age 26 - Mi'ato - 7 caps - 0 goals
Following an impressive breakthrough in the Premier Division, Topol has earned his place in the national team. He's not the tallest of players, but he makes up for it in determination and technical ability. He's remarkably calm under pressure, and is one for the big games - he'll be desperate to convince Pond to give him a chance to prove himself.

14. Navra Kulisev - CF - age 21 - Mi'ato - 0 caps - 0 goals
Pond will have looked at her ageing squad and decided that she needs to plan for the future. That's certainly what she's doing in the form of Kulisev, who is one of the young talents of Kinitaria's Premier Division, and burst onto the scene with three-time champions Mi'ato in recent times. He might be thrown in at the deep end if Kinitaria get desperate.

15. Himo Kazran - CM - age 20 - FC Serenberg - 0 caps - 0 goals
Kazran has impressed for his team, and is currently being chased by some of Kinitaria's top clubs. They obviously rate him highly, and Melody Pond agrees, having drafted him into the national team at short notice following the retirement of Cyril Novak from international play. A strong and bulky midfielder, but often a careless one, he needs some work to hone him into a proper national team player yet.

16. Marko Kuzinov - RB - age 30 - Universita Tirinthea - 2 caps - 0 goals
Uncapped for the AOCAF, but he's certainly impressed Pond in that tournament, and she will be looking to Kuzinov as a pillar in defense, something which Kinitaria's notoriously leaky back line has lacked in recent years. He's an old-fashioned sort of defender who fits in very well with the traditional Kinitar style of play, and he has the disciplinary record to prove it.

17. Zenel Halil - RW - age 27 - Mi'ato City - 12 caps - 1 goal
The tricky winger burst into the national consciousness following a run of form - and quite a few goals - in Mi'ato City's title-winning season. Now, after being drafted into the national side, he will be looking for opportunities to make his mark at a higher level. Most observers agree that Halil has a successful career ahead of them, but it remains to be seen if he can live up to the hype.

18. Ciprian Marin - CB - age 29 - East Franz Athletic (PIS) - 47 caps - 0 goals
Another former youth team player who has significantly impressed fans and manager alike since being given a chance in the 62 qualifiers. He stands up to onrushing attackers and uses his strength to win the ball. He has a tendency to dive into rash challenges and still has a lot to learn before becoming an established squad player.

19. Birka Sulemcev - LB - age 24 - AFC Damaciu - 0 caps - 0 goals
The tradition of the Kinitar game is for hard, physical play, and that's definitely what Melody Pond was looking for when she called Sulemcev up to the national side. A real tough left-back, he's known as a dogfighter back at his club for his persistance and constant physical presence in all areas of the game. He's hard but fair in the tackle - unless he gets carried away.

20. Leon Cantacuzino - LM - age 33 - Litora United - 61 caps - 16 goals
Once a superb squad player, Cantacuzino has faded somewhat in recent years. When he plays, he'll be the team's corner taker, since he can swing in a good ball from either the left or the right. He prefers to stay wide, use the flanks and cross from the byline, and he can do this very effectively to slice open an opposing defence. Still Kinitaria's super-sub, in a way. He can change the direction of a game almost single-handedly.

21. Malen Elkinič - CM - age 21 - Mi'ato - 4 caps - 0 goals
Elkinič broke through into the Mi'ato team recently, providing a spark of life during the team's dismal 3477 season. A product of their youth academy, pace is his strong point, which is something Kinitaria have been lacking in recent years. He probably won't set the world alight immediately, but look out for him in the future. He's got the world at his feet, if he uses his opportunities right, and did impress during his brief appearance in the Cup of Harmony.

22. Dalča Nurmanov - FW - age 31 - Fryi Frêndê (FFD) - 25 caps - 6 goals
After being frozen out of the squad for some time, a range of impressive games in the Premier Division brought him back to the squad and secured a big-money move to Farfadillis. He's put in a good claim for a first-team place in some previous matches, and with a run of form in the qualifiers, he could be well on his way to an established squad place.

23. Doriel Azinovič - GK - age 30 - AFC Damaciu - 0 caps - 0 goals
There's no denying that Azinovič is a capable keeper, but... what does a third-choice keeper actually do? I think they're just there to take up space. Moving swiftly on...

Kits
ImageImageImage

New cycle means new kits, and there are three simple and classy ones on display this cycle from Kinitaria.
Left (home): A smart new blue and yellow effort that looks set to become a fan favourite.
Center (away): In honour of it being ten years since Kinitaria's first and only international trophy, the 47th Baptism of Fire, this kit has one and a half eyes on the one worn in that final.
Right (goalkeeper): Keeper Costin Petran wears a striking red and black outfit.

Fans

Kinitar fans burning flares in a Cup of Harmony game

Kinitar fans are known for their passion. They're also known for burning down a significant portion of the Tricorn Arena in Wight during the Cup of Harmony 53, although the FFK has naturally disavowed all responsibility, and supporters' groups maintain that the shoddy construction of the host stadium was to blame. Either way, lighting flares is a part of fan culture in Kinitaria, and there's always the possibility that a Kinitaria goal will turn the air thick with smoke. During the match, the team are typically roared on by 70,000 home fans screaming themselves hoarse non-stop throughout the game, which creates an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams - although the fact that the aforementioned flares, among other things, are sometimes thrown at visiting players or fans might also contribute to this. The fights which characterise some of the most fierce club matches, such as the cross-capital derby between hated rivals Mi'ato City and Mi'ato, have yet to make their way to international level, although some say that this is merely because they haven't found the right spark yet. The FFK has been somewhat reluctant to take action against such matters, because "it's all part of the game, isn't it?"

Stadium
Image
Central Stadium, Mi'ato
Capacity 76,000

A purpose-built modern stadium in the centre of Kinitaria's capital, Mi'ato. The Central Stadium hosts all of Kinitaria's home matches. Visiting teams should note that a maximum of 6,000 tickets are made available to away supporters, with seats located in a segregated area in the top of the upper bowl. This is a prime location to throw things at the home fans, however, it's also a prime location to have things thrown back.

Aww yeah, click those spoilers!

Team Name: The Leorudian Roar A.F.C.
Stadium: Leorudian Olympic Stadium
The Leorudian Olympic Stadium is a brand-new, state-of-the-art football stadium. Built in the middle of the Leorudian Capital District, it can hold 96,300 people, though most of the time more fans than that are packed in. It also has a modern art section!
Photo:Image

Kits: Created by Kinitaria
Image

Quite fancy, if I may say so myself.
Manager: Sam Orlandus
Sam Orlandus is a manager who is a veteran of the game. He managed a Leorudian college club for years, and the creation of the club was a perfect opportunity for him to manage on an international scale. After a few unsuccessful campaigns, his luscious hair is the only thing keeping him in a job.

Roster:
Name-Position-Age
Starting Roster
Scena Tartarus-Keeper-26
[spoiler]Scena Tartarus is quite possibly the best goalie Leorudo has ever seen. Only 26, he has blocked uncountable shots and saved uncountable failed coverages. This man makes Leorudo a defensive club, and still rocks the red jersey! Brought to you by Kinitaria.
Photo:

Juan Rojas-Defender-27
Juan Rojas is a very important piece of the Leorudian Defensive stance. He is known for liking tropical music and neon cleats!
Photo(on the Right):

Donald Freedman-Defender-29
Donald Freedman is a pain to play against, mainly because he starts doing voice-overs mid-game and transforms into a mobile Caucasian Morgan-Freeman-met-Nicholas-Cage-in-a-bar sort of thing.

Shaun Delrose-Midfielder-36
Shaun Delrose is a defending midfielder for the club, but his main strength is that he is the captain of the team and the oldest member of the team. He is the mentor of the club for many of the younger players, and while he is not as good as he was in his prime, his mental presence can inspire anyone on the team to explode onto the game's scene at any time. He is also into old punk, which kind of makes it tough for the team to let his indie band do performances at the break.

Carlos Azulis-Striker-21
Carlos Azulis is the upcoming star in the club. He is very young and quite raw when it comes to the international stage, but he can still run and play with the best of them. Give him a couple years, and he might be one of the best players on the Leorudian squad. Again, cool neon cleats. Oh, and he likes bowties, because bowties are cool.

Leonardi Opladious-Midfielder-25
Leonardi Opladious, He is a bit of an urban legend in Leorudo, he would play football in the city streets with watermelons and whatnot. Oh, now, if you want to talk hair, oh my gosh, his is fabulous.

Brendan Kiernan-Midfielder-27
Brendan Kiernan makes good pies for the team, and he looks good doing it. That is all there is to see here.

Jim Fenlon-Forward-30
Jim Fenlon is a forward that cannot shoot to save his life. While this is a needed trait for most forwards, Jim makes his money off of passing. He can pass to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Him and Luke Moore are a good pair because of Luke's quick foot a and Jim's quick pass. This is a duo that will catch you off guard if your not prepared for a quick strike close to the net. He is also a brony, which depending on your feelings towards bronies that might be a bad thing or a simply awesome thing.

Luke Moore-Forward-24
Luke Moore is a player that is not unfamiliar with scoring goals. Though not the greatest passer, he can put a ball in the back of the net in a blink of an eye. In his first World Cup, he was the leading scorer for Leorudo and a known player in the local pub scene. He is quite the interesting character, mainly because he tried to make an indie sequel to Beerfest.

Curtis Osano-Forward/Midfielder-26
Born to a sailor's wife on the docks of Leorudo, he would spend most of his youth playing on the docks with other sailor's children as they passed through the ports. In this playing, he developed an unorthodox style of scoring, shooting a shot that bounces and curves wildly from the middle of the shoots pitch. When he misses, though, Luke Moore stands ready to put a rebound in the back of the net, well, most of the time. Wait, did I say most of the time? I meant hardly ever, because who has time for goals with that sweet minimall in the west part of the stadium?

Rashid Yussu-Defender-38
A former Leorudian great, he is know entering the final phase of his career. He is also a mentor for many of the younger guys and helps defend an opponent who attempts to get a rebound. He is another piece of the puzzle that anchors Leorudo to it's defensive base. He is also a fundamentalist Muslim, which makes things kind of awkward when he is on road trips..

Subs
Seb Brown-Keeper-35
Seb Brown is the former Keeper of the club that seems to have taken Scena Tartarus under his wing. He is still a decent keeper that can be a sub if Scena needs a break, but his main role on the team is too progress Scena into a start keeper. Also, his name is Seb.

Warren Cummings-Defender-20
Warren Cummings was born in a village in northern Leorudo. There, he was introduced the game his village has been playing for centuries. He has a good work ethic and he is fairly underrated compared to the rest of the squad. Also, you can tell the humor is dying down because I'm putting Cum in one of their names...

Callum McNaughton-Forward-25
Callum McNaughton is a fairly new Leorudian Forward that has only ever appeared in one game on the international stage. He is a fairly good goal scorer, but he tends to quickly foul rather than chase his man down. Much better on the ball then off. Also, he actually bought a membership to Pandora.

Mat Mitchel-Defender-24
Mat Mitchel is a prospect that is really just being used to take up an extra roster spot. He is not really skilled at much besides stopping players on the run, he is your textbook back up who can come on if needed and help the club. Also good at cooking brownies.

The Roster
When RP'ing, the name of my players in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS AND BOLD are the player's family names. These are the names on their jersey and the name professional commentators would call out when making observations. Also, do not write the names in all capital letters, as this is somewhat annoying when reading; I just imagine someone reading calmly along then suddenly SHOUTING the player's name. For example, if writing about FENG Shaoli making a long shot, one would write "Feng made a long shot..." as opposed to "FENG made a long shot..." If you have any further questions regarding names, please feel free to telegram me.

Players age ONE YEAR in-between cups.

Starting players will have their names in GREEN type
Alternate players will have their names in BLUE type
Reserve Players will have their names in STANDARD type.
Travelling Players will be in tables.

1- Bai'a KITA
Height: 183cm - Weight: 78kg – Age: 34 years old - Team: FC Mando
A goalkeeper who is known for having a short attention span, Kita is the epitomy of a Mandalorian goalkeeper: Known for taking excessive risks, bum-rushing an opponent to make a distant steal and playing on the rim of the box, Kita is a gamble in any game he appears in.

Initially, when Kita first was chosen as the starting keeper, his form was less chiseled than his predecessor. However, now, four cups later, Kita has developed into a first-rate keeper, and as such, has officially earned the position of Starter.

22- CHU Takumi
Height: 183cm - Weight: 82kg – Age: 28 years old - Team: RC United

Who was once the third-line goalkeeper for the National team now sits in the second chair. In his first cap against the Archregimacy, with the Bisons down 1-3, Chu would step between the poles and manage to block seventeen shots on goal through the second half and keep the game down.

Known as “Damage Control” by his teammates, Chu sees play whenever Kita breaks down on the pitch; some even think Chu is more skilled than his starting counterpart. However, with the starting Kita gaining more and more experience in age, and the recent trade of Chu from Ba Sing Se to RC United, it is evident that there is much for the young Omashuan to learn.

33- SHU Guatami
Height: 178cm - Weight: 79kg – Age: 21 years old - Team: University of Omashu
Shu Guatami is the first player from the Travelling Corps to become a full-fledged member of the Bisons. Having just been accepted on a full-scholarship to the premier football school in the Republics, Shu continues to enjoy the success befitting a player who loss just six games in the four years of his high school career.

Reminiscent of Nishimura’s original style of play --- agile and able to jump on the rebound --- Shu is still mentored by the original Bison keeper, both at UO and on the National Team. Perhaps that is why his style continue to reflect the heritage of the Bisons. Having made a couple of key showings following Chu's bout of the flu, Shu continues to show why he was moved up from the Travelling Corps to the Big Time.

Travelling With the Team

Name		Age		School						Nation
FENG Taoli 20 Ba Sing Se University Earth
JI Liangzu 20 Imperial City Academy of Science Fire
Aki KIO’LOS 17 Bajur’geroya Academy Mandalore

Brought along the last three World Cup, Ji Liangzu and Feng Taoli have continued to prosper at home; with Feng finding his rhythm in Ba Sing Se, making his first season start for the premier squad. Ji, his first year complete at the Division B school Imperial City Academy of Science in the bag, has continued to develop as a strong keeper. With Aki Kio’los from the premier football school in the Mandalorian territories returning, the development of Avatarian talent shall continue.

Left Defenders:
2- MIYAMOTO Kaoru
Height: 187cm - Weight: 82kg – Age: 30 years old - Team: Kuruk FC
A big defender with the skills to back up his talk, Miyamoto Kaoru is an impressive specimen of a defender. Playing for arguably one of the best teams in the RPFL has hardened this man into an imposing wall of strength on the backfield. Prepare to see plenty of tackles, shoves and general rough play from a man who grew up playing meshgeroya; an Avatarian variation of football also known as 'limmie' or 'bolo-ball'.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

12- AKIYAMA Qiangyi
Height: 183cm - Weight: 86kg – Age: 31 years old - Team: Ba Sing Se UNITED

Much like Miyamoto, Akiyama is a no-nonsense player. He has no problem laying an opponent out for a fowl, and as such as earned the most red cards in a single season by any player in the Modern Era (16) as well as garnishing multiple suspensions. He is a rough player who pairs perfectly with Miyamoto and the two have earned the moniker, ”The Dueling Mandos” by the media. Originally used as the left centre and left pairing, in the last few World cups, Akiyama was seen less and less action. Though, with Leifong Saikhan as the new Assistant Coach, Akiyama has seen an increase play time...
CAPS: 91 :: GOALS: 0 :: WC's PLAYED: 57-64

16- ZHANG Jijian
Height: 178cm - Weight: 75kg – Age: 28 years old - Team: Southern AFC
A young player who was drafted seven seasons ago to the Premier Cup champions RC United, Zhang is developing into a strong player with still room for improvement. Since World Cup 62, Zhang has left RC United after six seasons and found a new home in Southern AFC, adding an option defender to the normally-offensively minded team. While he lacks the size of Akiyama and Miyamoto, he most certainly does not lack on the heart: During practice skirmishes, Zhang is often found opposite Miyamoto and has thrown himself full-force into the 'Mando Mauler', only to receive a week-ending injury as a parting gift.

Central Defenders
5- KIM Dong Su
Height: 178cm - Weight: 75kg – Age: 31 years old - Team: Island FC
Not a highly-rated player for the Bison defence, however, Kim has shown himself to be a surprise in many a games; a fine defensive player, Kim is also a very good option for the full-back position when results are needed. He supports the offence well, with very strong passing and marking skills. Following his trade from Ba Sing Se UNITED to Island FC last season, Kim has continued to develop into a great central defender; something which the Bison’s new strategy will welcome immensely.

Outside the stadium, Kim is the morale of the team. Often telling jokes and giving out care packages, he is loved by the fans and by the media for his often-spirited antics and interviews.

15- WONG Haru
Height: 185cm - Weight: 83kg – Age: 25 years old - Team:FC Itakawai

Given his size, one would expect Wong to have a style of play more similar to Fujimoto. However, growing up playing in the offensive-orientated Earth Kingdom's LEAGUE ROYALE shaped Wong into a speed-demon in the body of a tank. He is quick to run, able to outpace many of his teammates and overtake many of his opponents. His endurance is bar-none the best of the team, which Coach Vhett attributes to his genes; the son of a clone trooper with the Avatarian Republics' Mandalorian Corps, Wong shares similar genetics to several other players as well as Vhett himself.

Having graduated from the University of Kibago in 2012.3, Wong shocked the Republics when he chose to play for FC Itakawai down in the Southern Mandalorian Islands. Instead of playing for FC Mando, Southern AFC, or even the storied RC United, Wong chose the lower ranked Itakawai as a personal challenge; to bring this perennial underdog into the RPFL championships.

6- FUJIMOTO Zhong
Height: 175cm - Weight: 70kg – Age: 32 years old - Team: RC United
Extremely fast given his size, Fujimoto is a full-back more focused on the offence, and can have some minor difficulties when tasked with defence. Able to quickly counter any attack placed before him, Fujimoto serves as a valuable link between the offence and the defence. An excellent sniper, Fujimoto is one of the best free-kickers on the team, being able to take pieces with either pure technique, pure strength or a combination of the two; exceeding in both styles is a rare form in Avatarian football.

However, every gem has its imperfection and for Fujimoto, it is discipline. With such natural talent coming easy, Fujimoto has yet to truly have to work to exceed: Rather, he naturally falls into the game and succeeds at almost everything he does. However, with the years passing and Fujimoto gaining wisdom in his age, discipline is slowly coming to him.

Right Defenders:

13- BAO Yiyong
Height: 177cm - Weight: 76kg – Age: 27 years old - Team: Southern AFC

While certainly not the oldest player in the defence, Bao serves to give a bit of balance between the youth beneath him and the seniority above him. Following a trade from Kuruk FC to Southern AC, Bao found a new obsession in the form of his new teammates. Yet, he still has a tendency to indulge in a little too much liquor and little too many loose women.

While still not as strong as Kobayashi, Bao did appear in as many games as his counterpart due to WC60’s experiment in formations. However, with the Bisons returning to the familiar 4-4-2, Bao finds himself yet again on the alternate list.

3- KOBAYASHI Ren
Height: 187cm - Weight: 83kg – Age: 33 years old - Team: Senlin Timbers
The veteran of the Defenders, Kobayashi is a mixture of strength, speed, technicality and violence. He is strong for his size, though the restraint he shows upon merging on an attacker is admirable. He is a bit of a 'bully', often provoking his opponent to the point of breaking just for the fun of it all.

However, this bully attitude of his has landed him in a bit of trouble with his former team, FC Beijing; after one post-season match, Kobayashi was enjoying the crowd when a member of Southern AFC decided he wasn’t too fond of Kobayashi’s goal in the game. A few punches later, and Beijing dropped Kobayashi, and he was unsigned for the entirety of the 2013.1 Season. Yet, at the start of the 2013.2 season, the Senlin Timbers --- one of the youngest teams in the RPFL --- offered him a single season contract... To test KObayashi and see if he has reigned in his temper.

23- XU Lingbo
Height: 183cm - Weight: 84kg – Age: 26 years old - Team: Makapu ERUPT

One of the more matured full-backs in the RPFL, Xu Lingbao has continued to develop under the once-tuteldge and now-friendship of Kobayashi Ren. Capable of running with any opponent, stealing a ball on the fly and passing it up pitch in a blink, Xu has enjoyed much success since his former days at Republic FC, a Taap-B team; culminating in his draft by the Makapu ERUPT two seasons ago.

Travelling With the Team

Position	Name		Age		School						Nation
RD SUZUKI Juro 20 Royal Fire State University Fire
RD TAKASHI Isamu 19 Republic City State University Fire
LD Aurenaq ITAWAKU 17 Southern Tribes Secondary School Water
LD KATO Tarou 20 University of Omashu Earth
CD ZHOU Juyun 19 Kibago University Earth

The young travelling defencemen are essentially the same from the previous World Cup, with the edition of Aurenaq Itawaku; a young left defencemen from the Southern Water Tribes, Itawaku garnished his position with a very impressive season at home. Luckily for him, Head Coach Boba Vhett was at this game, and managing to shut down the highest-scoring offence in the Southern Secondary Atheletic Conference is very impressive. The two players from the Earth Kingdom come from three different Universities, each with different playing styles. Kato Tarou, on the other hand, is helping turn around the University of Omashu Badgermoles from a barely-winning season last year --- 8-7 in the regular season --- into a Championship threat. Zhou Juyun graduated last year and obtained a scholarship to Kibago University: Already, he is making a promising start, with the Kibago Gators at 5-1 for the first half of the season. As to the Fire Nation players, Suzuki Juro and Takashi Isamu have improved greatly since their last tour with the Bisons. Takashi graduated from Minato Community Secondary, only to gain a full-ride to RCSU and is on their Starting 11, utilised as a solid right center back in the 3-4-3 formation common at Republic City. Suzuki Juro, on the other hand, managed to come back from a serious high-ankle sprain and get accepted into RFSU, where he has finally made the A-squad, though, more often than not, he is a back up for their star defender.

Defensive Midfielders:

7- MAKI Li
Height: 178cm - Weight: 76kg – Age: 32 years old - Team: Ba Sing Se UNITED
A veteran of the Grand Army of the Republic, Maki was shot with an assault rifle during a border dispute with the Charicific Valley which tore his left shoulder to shreds. Six months of physical therapy resulted in his retirement, however, Maki had a great passion in football; luckily for him, you don't need to use your arms in football. At 23, he was drafted by Ba Sing Se as a defensive midfielder and within the first six months of play, he established himself as a premier player. Being a veteran, he is often found with the other 'military players' on the team, notably Kad'e Tay'haai, Kotyc'e Bralor and Wong Haru. A result of his training, Maki is a very serious player, whose morale is spot-on and dedication to the team is second only to Vhett himself; this leads to him being liked a little less than most players, but since when has football been a popularity contest?

4- Kotyc'e BRALOR
Height: 187cm - Weight: 85kg – Age: 30 years old - Team: Keldabe FC

In Keldabe, Bralor makes for a perfect pair with Tay'haai: While Bralor serves as the connection from the defence to the attack, Tay'haai gives the sniping skills of a well-honed soldier. Quick on his feet and agile in mind, Bralor is just starting on his historic career...

Just as his partner on the midfield defence, Bralor is military veteran. His father is a General within the Grand Army of the Republic and Bralor is currently on Sportsmanship Leave from his own military life as a Sergeant, First Class in the GAR. Having the rigors of combat beaten into him since the beginning of his adult life, Bralor knows full well the pay-off for hard work, well-refined skills and dedication.

17- TRAN Bảo
Height: 177cm - Weight: 80kg – Age: 30 years old - Team: FC Mando
A player like Tran is one you would hardly notice. He rarely makes a goal, never drives it to the net and doesn't play a very show-boating game. Instead, he is a hard-working midfielder, who focuses his time on setting up the offence for a great pass, a well-positioned switch or the decisive tackle to change the momentum in the game. Ranked as the second-best player on FC Mando, Tran has worked hard to get to the National Team, so expect to see him alternate to relieve Bralor or Maki in the late games.

Neutral Midfielders:

18- TSUKINO Hachiro
Height: 183cm - Weight: 84kg – Age: 25 years old - Team: Unsigned
Extremely technical for a player his age, Tsukino is definitely an up-and-coming player within the Avatarian league system.

Selected by Sparta FC, a Série A football club in Cotdelapoms, after a terrific performance in World Cup 57, Tsukino had continued to flourish there. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biomolecular Engineering with a Minor in Physics from Accord, a premier Science and Arts University in Albionpool, Cotdelapoms just after the completion of the Cup of Harmony. After the end of the 2012 season, Sparta FC released him, and as of now, Tsukino is unsigned and only plays for the National team. Many Avatarian clubs are seeking to add him to their roster, however, Tsukino remains illusive...

Attacking Midfielders:

8- Pre KRYSE
Height: 183cm - Weight: 85kg – Age: 35 years old - Team: FC Beijing
The Golden Star of Gyatso-kaian football, Kryse has shocked the nation twice in his career. First, predicted to reach the National Level at 21, Kryse came onto the pitch at 19 wearing the national kit; this was such a feat that a new set of laws were passed to allow players younger than 21 to play with the Bisons as opposed to just travelling. Second, after World Cup 58, Kryse was sought out by FC Mildred, a Seria-A team in the Kingdom of Erathore. He quickly signed a contract with the team, despite suffering a concussion in Group Stage Play. After five seasons abroad, Kryse was released by Mildred, and returned home to be signed to a two-year contract with FC Beijing. With an old ankle injury flaring up during the first five minutes of his debut game, we have seen little of what he can do on the pitch...

His footballing style is very offensive, working as the last link between the midfield and the offence; Kryse has been known to even advance from the midfield to score some key goals in pivotal games. He has a powerful long shot and is exceptional at heading, both of which are aided by his height. However, as skilled as he is in offense, Kryse still prefers to pass the ball up to forwards for an assist in a goal as opposed to being the star player.

11- NGO Quyen
Height: 185cm - Weight: 81kg – Age: 32 years old - Team: RC United
A very creative midfielder, Ngo is not known for his consistency: One day, Ngo may get a couple assists and even a goal while keeping the opponent at bay, when on others, he could barely get a foot on the ball; many in the league attribute this to Ngo's service in the Republic Marines and as such, he has been seeing psychiatrists for these issues. A bit of a clown, on those days he is well-inspired, Ngo will often perform many an antic when a goal is scored, thus earning him the love of the fans. On those days less-inspired, Ngo will hardly shuffle through the pitch, tending to gaze at his feet instead of ahead...

14- HIMURA Katsu
Height: 185cm - Weight: 81kg – Age: 27 years old - Team: Northern AFC
Relatively young when compared to his teammates, Himura has not had a promising start to his career, both at home and abroad. Given his still-developing skills in midfield, his is seen as a comparatively weak player and often spends more time with the coaching staff than other more-seasoned players. In his fourth season out of college with the Northern AFC, Himura is a technical player by nature whose greatest asset is not in his aim or power, but in the art of dribbling which he uses at every opportunity. While more prone to provide assists on plays as opposed to goals, Himura caught Vhett off-guard when he was brought on the pitch to replace an injured Pre Kryse, and managed to score his first goal of his career. However, following World Cup 61, Himura has hit a dryspell in the terms of goals... Maybe World Cup 65 will change that.

Mostly comprised of Water Tribesmen, the Midfield Travelling Corps is a grabbag of talent. From the University of the Northern Tribes come home-grown Inoue Kuruk, who at just twenty-two completed three double-digit scoring seasons in collegiate play; impressive for a man who is supposed to be on the defensive midfield. From UST comes Kimura Kaskae, who while having yet to score a goal since his first year of high school, has continued to provide multiple assists game in and game out. The youngest travelling player, Saito Tsuka comes all the way from Saipan State Academy, and as the lone Fire in the MTC, he does find himself more lonely than the others. In his four secondary seasons, Saito has never allowed more than a single goal while on the pitch per game. On the offensive side of the pitch, Ito Anernerk and Pak Diku are from two different schools of football, but the two play a very similar game. In fact, Vhett compares the two to a younger pair of Bralor and Kryse...

19- NGYUEN Bình Đức
Height: 185cm - Weight: 80kg – Age: 38 years old - Team: Ba Sing Se UNITED
Known as one of the fastest players in the league, Ngyuen is an impressive striker who has matured greatly since World Cup 63. Once known as a ‘loose cannon’ throughout the league, Nguyen has finally dialed in the perfect combination of accuracy and strength in his strikes, and was aptly chosen as the replacement starter for Wakahisa Hikaru, whose knee-shattering injury in the final minutes of the Republic Chalice championship match against Keldabe FC ended his career abruptly.

In World Cup 64, many expected that, after the retirement of Wakahisa, that A'den Skirata would be called up to start. However, the fates were not aligned, and Nguyen got the call. With Skirata stil dealing with some 'emotional issues', Nguyen returns for World Cup 65. After his twelve-goal tournament last year, many are expecting Nuyen to become a staple of the line for some time.

10- Kad’e TAY’HAAI
Height: 178cm - Weight: 74kg – Age: 34 years old - Team: Keldabe FC
Tay’haai comes from a sports-centric family; with his father a coach in the AHL, his brother a member of the National Ice Bisons and his mother the coach of the women’s national football team, fans and critics have come to expect nothing but greatness from Tay’haai. Certainly they have not been mislead, with Tay’haai has become known as ‘The Next One’ following the retirement of Vid’a Ambeck, aka the Great One, eight years ago. When on the pitch, he plays almost effortlessly, dodging defenders as if they were standing still, sniping balls past nets which might as well have been empty and being the media’s favourite player.

He strives for perfection in every session and he knows too well the wrath of Vhett when he does not perform well. In his personal life, he is a staunch supporter of the military, given his family’s history with the GAR; his grandfather was one of the first training sergeants of the GAR’s clone-based military nearly 80 years ago and ever since, Tay’haai donates portions of his salary to charities which support the GAR.

21- A’den SKIRATA
Height: 185cm - Weight: 85kg – Age: 25 years old - Team: Keldabe FC
The youngest son in what has to be the Republic’s greatest sports family, Skirata finally made his debut on the professional stage, signing a three-year contract with Keldabe FC and bringing his high-level playing style to the RPFL. With the speed and strength of youth on his side, Skirata fit into Vhett’s home-grown team, earning his first starting cap seven games into the season. On the National team, Skirata compliments Tay’haai very well, and for the last few cups, he has been often brought in to replace the tired half of the striker corps.

However, the last year has been incredibly rough on him. In his last game with KSU, Skirata went 4-nil and embarrassed himself at the Keldabe Pro Day. Many expected him to quickly be able to recover from the setbacks, however, when he discovered his long-time girlfriend engaged in less-than-reputable acts with the keeper of Republic State, his confidence was shattered. Over the past year, he has begun the road to recovery, however, it is obvious Vhett has no confidence in his mental state, and Skirata remains in the wings...

20- PHAM Vinh Lành
Height: 187cm - Weight: 84kg – Age: 32 years old - Team: Island FC
A well-seasoned pivot man, Pham is not known for his endurance, however, his ability to read the pitch and place himself ahead of a ball to bring in an attempt --- even if the pass is terrible --- through his excellent ball-handling skills. Following a surprise trade from RC United to Island, Pham has managed to show he is still a strong pivot in the close games. A perennial back-up to the National team, with Skirata still shaky, Pham may make more appearances as a substitute, leaving the younger Skirata on the bench to keep his seat warm.

Head Coach: VHETT Boba
Height: 182cm – Weight: 76kg – Age 51 years old – Team: Keldabe FC, Head Coach
Having coached for sixteen years since his retirement from active service, Vhett was the obvious choice for the Head Coach of the National Team following the retirement of the infamous Ko Palu. A man who played for a couple of years in the top club in its day, Vhett has the experience to understand his players, read the field as if he were on it and adapt quickly. Vhett first coached for FC Mando --- his former team ---, in which he saw the reformation of the team into a competitive threat before a sudden transfer to Keldabe FC, where he has been the manager for the last seven seasons; bringing with him three Premier Cups to the National Stage, the Bisons have qualified four times for the World Cup Proper, and hope to push even further this tournament.

Assistant Coach: LEIFONG Saikhan
Height: 188cm – Weight: 79kg – Age 41 years old – Team: Omashu FC, Head Coach
With Liu An Qiang having taken the job as Head Coach of the Gyatso-kaian Under-Twenty team, the position of Assistant Coach was given to Leifong Saikhan. A man who has been involved with Avatarian football since his years as a collegiate player, Leifong entered into the coaching sphere following the sudden death of University of Omashu Head Coach Ko Podain in 2000.1 from a heart attack. Despite winning the DiMong Plate as well as several awards during a record career as a striker, Leifong continued to win as both the Assistant Coach of the Badgermoles, and the Head Coach in 2001.3, where he remained until 2006.1 when Vhett offered him the position of Forwards Coach.

Since then, Leifong has continued to develop as a coach, including winning the Omashu FC contest for Manager in 2009.4 and even entering into the contest to win the Head Coach position of the Turori National Team, eventually losing due to a poor team performance in the first half of WC 60 Qualifying.

As the Offensive Assistant during World Cup 61, Leifong helped transform the team’s attacking abilities, earning at least two goals per match, and earning eleven shutouts during both Qualifying and the Round of Sixteen. As Assistant Coach, the sky is simply the limit for Leifong.

Head Medical Officer: Doctor WEN Wuchin
Height: 180cm – Weight: 78kg – Age 44 years old
A medical doctor whose primary training was as a GAR Field Medic, Wen is the best choice possible in a world where doctors prefer to stay in privately-owned hospitals rather than rural rigshacks. Wen served for ten years in the GAR before he would honourably discharged to serve as Chief Resident at the prestigious Ba Sing Se Inner Ring Medical Centre, where he would remain for six years before being given a more suitable job as Chief of Medical Training at the Republic Military Academy.

Now on the National Team’s payroll, Wen is able to use his well-honed skills to repair injuries, set his players right and have them on the field as soon as possible.

Security Chief: Captain AKAAN (RC-4648)
Height: 183cm – Weight: 81kg – Age: 25 years old CHRONOLOGICAL (35 years old BIOLOGICAL)
A clone officer within the Grand Army of the Republic, RC-4868 was appointed Chief of Security for the National Team in 2011.1. Each time the team travels abroad --- so long as he is not engaged in a mission --- RC-4868 is pulled from service and placed into the spotlight of security. He is battle-hardened, having been raised since birth for war and combat, and as such often views these assignments with true boredom. The seven men he brings with him on assignment share the same sentiments of the ‘mission’, however, their ‘unwaivering loyalty’ to the Republic prevents any negative speak during the assignment. Each is a member of the Avatarian Guard, whose sole responsibility is to defend the Avatar at both home and abroad; this protection then extends to all sports teams travelling beyond the borders of the Five Nations.

Home Ground
After a long drawn out process of deciding the home ground, the Metropoli Football Authority decided on White Star Field, in the capital city, White Star. Seating just over 25,000, it is located right downtown in the capital, right behind the main core of the entire nation. As the field was last renovated 22 years ago, all games must be played in the day, as some of the night lights will stop working at random times. A massive renovation project is being undertaken after this event to bring White Star Field out of its days of hosting high school football tournaments and into being the home of the national team.

Coach

Iarlaith Mag Aonghusa (Sorthern Northland)
Much travelled tactician who coached his homeland to back-to-back World Cup titles. Left his position as national coach of Taeshan by mutual consent after leading the Knights to the quarter finals of the last World Cup.

Assistant Coaches

Principal coaching staff remain, providing much needed continuity. Meaning Hernán Ojeda holds on to an assistant coach slot while Israel Navarro continues to work with the goalkeepers and Javier Valentín oversees the fitness work.

Talent

GK: 1. Ezequiel Medrán (26) – Sporting San Marquez
Picked out by Tejera, who knows a thing or two about goalkeeping, as one to watch during his tenure in charge at the Estadio Silva. Now first choice for a Sporting side that finished as Liga de Fuego runner’s up.
GK: 13. Omar Cuerdo (32) – El Nacional
Something of a late bloomer after plying much of his trade in the murky lower levels of Sargossan football. Signed to be a backup at the Independiente but when injury gave him a chance in the first team he made the position his own.
GK: 25. Silvio Romero (29) – Sportivo Cordova
Mr reliable at the back for Sportivo. He’s not showy, he’s not spectacular but everything Silvio does tends to be right.

DR: 2. Mauro Maidana (27) – Sporting San Marquez
One of the stars of Nuevo Onwere’s excellent season. A first call up to the national side coupled with a big money move across the city to Sporting are the just rewards for a fine year.
DRC: 5. Leandro Gonzàlez (30) - El Nacional
Former captain of the Under-21 side who has become an integral member of the senior squad. Became the youngest El Nacional captain in their history.
DLC: 6. Mauro Fernández (28) – Ciudad Soluca
Soluca giants Ciudad may not have had their finest season on record but one thing that did stand out was their defensive solidity. And key to that was the form of this rugged centreback.
DL: 3. Lautaro Formica (29) – Sporting San Marquez
The second son of Marquezian immigrants who couples sound defensive instincts with a wand of a left foot. Clocked up twelve goals from set pieces last season.
DRC: 12. Matías Sosa (24) – Sporting San Marquez
A free scoring centreback whose temperament has been known to get him in a spot of bother. Twelve goals and a string of dominating performances were high points of the season. Four red cards, not so much.
DC: 14. Diego Jara (32) – El Nacional
A rare thirty plus-er in the El Nacional lineup whose experience became crucial as the campaign went on. Diego rose to the occasion and helped his side to Globe Cup qualification.
DLC: 19. José Toranzo (23) – Perntav Marna TU (Earent)
Can play at both left fallback and in the centre of defence, looking equally accomplished in both positions. Recently set out for a new challenge in Earent.
DR: 21: Gonzalo Soriano (29) - El Nacional
Pacy rightback with a devil of a cross on him. Has a good understanding with club mate Gonzàlez and will continue to push hard for a starting berth.

DMC: 4. Lucas Ramís (28) – Sporting San Marquez
Key member of a Sporting side looking to re-establish themselves in the Liga de Fuego.
AMR: 7. Javier Jerez (25) – Sporting San Marquez
A diminutive winger with plenty of technique but a willowy frame that struggles to compete with the game’s more physical practitioners.
MC: 8. Rodrigo Defederico (26) – Oyardo FC (Astograth)
Was the most highly prised transfer target of the close season and object of desire for all the nation’s big clubs. But the playmaker turned down the likes of Sporting San Marquez and Ciudad Soluca to make the move to Astograth.
AML: 11. Alejandro Echeverría (32) - Ciudad Soluca
This boy's a bit special and we're not talking in the crash helmet and crayons sense. Stick him anywhere in the attacking third and he can make something happen. Retains the captain's armband despite the change in coach.
AMRC: 15. Rodrigo Hoyos (28) – Sporting San Marquez
‘Hot Rod’ spends a little too much time making headlines for his off field antics for most coaches liking but you can’t argue that the boy has talent. Another key member of Sporting’s strong season.
MLC: 16. Kike Galán (27) – Sporting San Marquez
Miniature midfield dynamo whose influence in the centre often belies his diminutive stature.
AML: 18. Sebastián Canteros (25) - Perntav Marna TU (Earent)
Started life as a striker before the youth coaches at the Ciudad Deportiva decided that such crossing ability was wasted in the centre. Has joined Toranzo in Earent.
DMC: 22. Matías Escobar (24) – El Nacional
A young midfield anchor man who can run all day long. Statistically the best performing Sargossan in the Liga de Fuego last season.
AMLC: 24. Ivan Ávila (24) – Ciudad Soluca
An understudy for Sargossan international Alejandro Echeverría at the Estadio Generalissmo Joaquín Delgado who is starting to show why he’s regarded do highly at his club.

FLC: 9. Gelson Di Santo (24) – Ciudad Soluca
A real find from the Ciudad academy who is used sparring for both club and country but tends to rise to the opportunity when given it. Can play up front or wide on the left.
FC: 17. Mariano Estrada (27) – Sporting San Marquez
A familiar figure towards the top of the Liga de Fuego scoring charts. Was seen as something of an untouchable in the squad but the emergence of Ferreyra could change that.
FC: 17. Federico Ferreyra (25) – Gortz United (Astograth)
Another gem unearthed by the scouts in San Marquez who was Nuevo Onwere’s top scorer as they finished in a more than creditable 13th place in the Liga de Fuego. Impressed the Astograthian scouts during what was an otherwise underwhelming World Cup qualifying campaign.
FRC: 20. Lucas Andrada (33) - Turoki Tide (Vilita)
A talented lad plucked from SuperLiga midtable obscurity by sharp eyed V-League scouts. Now plying his trade in Turoki after spells at Kiiarana and Yeaddin Owls. Recently helped his club to victory at the 40th Globe Cup and subsequent AlfaCredit Super Cup. Which probably constitutes a good season.
FC: 23. Agustín Caruzzo (28) – Dwile Warriors (Apox)
Top scorer at the Bonilla Arena as Alianza Jucaro squeezed into the Globe Cup qualification places. Has since moved to Apox.

Style
A fluid 3-4-1-2 in possession, a more solid 5-3-2 without the ball. Probable starting eleven (Listed L to R)
Medrán -- Fernández - Sosa - Gonzàlez -- Canteros - Defederico - Ramís - Maidana -- Echeverría (C) -- Ferreyra - Estrada

Style Modifier = (+1)

Schedule

Big matches are hosted in our rather fancy Nethertopian built 109,000 capacity Estadio Generalissimo Joaquín Delgado in the Sargossan capital of Soluca.
