I woke up in heaven
Such a sight, I never imagined
There was a rainbow with colours of seven
To me, it was more like a thousand
A thousand colours of happiness
I remembered your deep brown eyes
I could see a thousand colours of happiness
You never told any lies
You always had the colours shining in you
I believe that was true love
But does it exist in heaven?
I flew away like a dove
Now I only have colours of seven
A thousand colours of happiness
Now I am gone
You are left behind
I was just a pawn of your father's homicide
I believe that was true love
But does it exist in heaven?
I flew away like a dove
Now I only have colours of seven
The angels shine a thousand colours of happiness
Though I cannot stand this loneliness
I must be with you
Be happy with you
Then there will be true colours of happiness
Or else I will go crazy, I insist

Ohhh....
Mhmm...
There's no need to run away
Run away from what you love
and leave all your dreams behind.
Just believe in your own strength, and you will see
That you are worth it all
What are you running from?
Where will you run to?
Why can't you just see?
You deserve it, just trust me
Whatever it may be
Don't let them tell you that you can't
You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence
Why do people bring us down?
Why do people make us frown?
Why don't they leave us alone?
Everyone is different
In their own special way
We can't please everyone.
You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence
Don't get up and leave
You're still perfect to me
And if you still do not know
Get up and I'll show you
You are worth it... No matter what they say
Just ignore them... and you will be okay
There's no need to let yourself be brought down
Keep your head high and wear that crown
Made of... your confidence
Worth it... yes you still are to me
Don't you ever... say that you're not
We all know that you are
We all know you're a star
Just believe that you are...
Worth it...
Worth it...
Worth it... Worth it to me.

Lying in a field on a Friday night
Waiting for the moon to come and shine its light
Fa yna syti kumtuv ët rubauv, muja
Oh, rumt sa fa lüjdidem ajano ćyn
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja
Come on, my darling, come wish with me
oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja
Oh, maybe I've had a little too much gin
My blurry eyes tomorrow won't apologize
I know I shouldn't do it so I don't know why
I'm gonna sit with you in a damp cold swamp
Taho drćynći, oh drvenäpuja
I ain't your darling, come wish anyway
oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'll still be holding you
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja
I'm sorry, little darling, but I won't give up
I know I gotta have you cos it makes me sick
I can treat you right and keep you warm
I'm hooked on you, get hooked on me
Taho drćynći, oh drvenäpuja
I ain't your darling, come wish anyway
Oh, I know that when the morning comes
I'm nowhere to be found
Fydlr drćynći drvenäpuja

When you showed up, better than ever
Into my life, I wished you stay
You weren't aware I made the effort
I'm unavoidable to you
You tried to run away and you hid
But you were no match for me
I tried to stand out in a big crowd
Your view was too small to see me
I called your name, I said it out loud
You didn't notice when I did
But I'd do just anything to be able to spend a night out with you
If you would make me feel like I am worth
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste, it's as if I'm insane)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss
And turn this hour into bliss
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(You've made me this way so be mine now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)
They gave a dare and I accepted
It was my pièce de résistance
T'was quite strange, and very awkward
But in the end, I don't regret
Now that you are mine, now that I'm yours
My efforts finally paid off
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste or even say your name)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss
And turn this hour into bliss
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)
(You've made me this way so love me now)
(Numb, like Tylenol, so numb)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(Can't touch or taste or even say your name)
I feel so numb, numb, numb, numb, numb
(And I know that it's all because of you, hey)
So hug me now, give me a kiss

Well, well, hello everyone! Here it's Armán Vonok broadcasting from Shatilaurchev... *coughs* Well, that's Hebrew, ladies and gentlemen, wrecking my throat since I got here. But going back on topic, here we are in Kishrael, a country you could call 'newbie' in the Worldvision scene. However, our Orbian fellow nation is quite experienced in hosting, and we should be glad for being here instead of other... less desirable places. The arena is Yosef Ben-Or, and it is one of the smallest venues we've ever had. However, my main concern is the stage. A small arena doesn't necessarily mean a small stage, but here they did that. The arena can hold 7500 spectators and it is the usual venue for "A Song for Kishrael", this country's national final.
Shatilaurchev is a city populated by 2 million people, and was founded in the 18th Century BC as 'Even Levan Ha'Metzodah'; can you imagine that? Euskals were still in Bilbauski Island by that time. Anyway, the city boasts a nice cultural variety; and despite the fact Kishrael is the multiverse's bastion of Judaism; you can still breathe a freedom-of-religion air outside Haredi neighborhoods. Unlike past editions, we're gathered on Thursdays, because Shabbat is obviously observed here. The Euskal district of the city, however, is an interesting place that reminds me of home.
And that's the logo you can see on your screens. The theme for this edition is "Light The Way (Through Music)", which symbolizes, and I quote from the official programme... "the power that music has on people's lives and on people's minds". Music is a common referent for every emotion, moment or event, and Kishrael wants to celebrate that. I quote again one of my favourite lines... "WorldVision has had many songs which have inspired us, made us laugh, made us cry, and even cringe, but each and every person has found a new open door because of it". The logo is basically a minimalistic menorah, symbol of celebration and light, with Hebrew-stylized letters.
The stage is diamond-shaped with two LCD screens behind it. And as I said before, it is quite small. There's also a somewhat hidden screen in the central platform of the stage that can be raised, though I did not see it rising in most dress rehearsal performances. There's an orchestra pit in the gaps between the stairs, and as usual, LED lights can be used in both floors and back panels. The stage is in three levels; and for the first time, there's a free open way in the front to go on and interact with the audience.
Up next, to open the show is Daria Shulamit's song "Horah", which in fact, is a revamped version of our song "Danses dell Aurero", by the popular Euskal artist Haritz.
And how did they get 60 dancers on such a tiny stage for 'Horah'? We'll never know. Well, that was Anna Petravona up there as well; and families from all the participating countries. As a random curious fact, there's no Euskirribakondaran or Artsakhiani family featured up there; just a Valdaranean one, you know, 'cause we signed up a bit late after a lot of things. But well, there in the screen you can see Mia Awachu and Shmu'el Haddad, a TV presenter and a reality show wonder, respectively.
As usual, 50% of our votes will be decided by jury voting, a panel that this time is integrated by Harrika Dago I, Samira Kareli, Sopho Gelovadze, Irina Arshakyan, Safir Ibn Mudram, Kahule Mwangi, Alluaq and my very own self. We voted yesterday in the last dress rehearsal; but the other 50% is your responsability. Follow the on-screen instructions for SMS voting, televoting, twitter voting or web voting. But remember, you cannot vote for Euskirribakondara. And now.. Let's hear what we've all been waiting for....
Mia: LET THE 26TH WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST COMMENCE!
And again, another thing that is different from previous editions. Lymantatia is not the first entry. Instead we have past hosts, Communist Quinntopia, represented by Nicholas Emantrar and Katerina Smith. They're hoping to surpass this country's best placing, which is 5th. Their song "You Can't Stop Our Love", is your typical duet ballad sung in English; but their performance is rather original, and their chemistry is somewhat attractive. Enjoy!
@MasterJohnny96: I thought the lyrics were beautiful until they messed up with "yes we're going to Paris and London" #cheesy70,62%
@Mishka52: Praise be to the composer of this tune. It's majestic! #euswv26
I don't know if I should tell this, but in the jury panel, we have faith in this song. It's simple yet beautiful, specially musically speaking. Lyrically, it is nice, but it loses something in the final stranza with "Yes, we're going to Paris, Yes, we're going to London". It kind of kills the magic. The voices fit each other perfectly, and it definitely was classy. This time, I'll abstain from predicting something for the final outcome, as we have over 40 participating countries. But I should say this will enter the top 15 in Euskal voting.
Number two is Luzyica, a country that despite being famous for being overly conservative, is infamous for sending extremely outrageous entries to WorldVision. Due to Euskal law, we cannot broadcast this entry directly on public television. If you want to see it, go to our website eusk1.com. Meanwhile, we'll go for commercials here until the end of the song, four minutes from now.
@WhyAmIHere: All I can say after that is... #Luzyica Kiss MY Ass for such a horrible song.05,44%
@EmongoBongo: I wasted my time watching that on the website. It wasn't even kinky horny. #epicfail
