That's not a politician. That's a monster.

Well, lowly enough that he has the highest conviction rate in Aurentina.

Don't say 'Now everyone's been doing that'. AFAIK only two people on the first page are British Military Personnel.

And one of them wasn't a soldier, but a sailor who fought in WWII and somehow doesn't seem to have aged at all.

You choose a rough area off this map, usually composed of a few small towns, one medium-sized town or an area of one of the larger cities. I've got a list, and I'll tell you if your area is taken.

Can I have a relatively poor area of one of the provincial capitals? It doesn't matter which one. If possible, I'd have the constituency keep the name I made up, but if this is a problem I'm happy for it to be changed.

Owen James Tarniff II - Coalition for Freedom and Enterprise
Image

Account Name: The Treorai

Occupation: Senator/CEO of Major Airlines

Party Position(s):
Senator

Positions in Government:
De Facto Queue Lister

Constituency: Malling

Political Ideology: Lassiez Faire Capitalist

Family:
Sarah Jane Tarniff - Wife - 58
John Owen Tarniff - Son - 35
Elizabeth Flora Straton - Daughter - 30
Owen James Tarniff III - Son - 26

Background:
The Tarniff family came to Aurentina in 1607, as a group of British grain merchants looking to make a profit on this new colony of the Crown's. They quickly grew to be highly influential on trade coming in and out of the islands, eventually coming to be known as the owners one of, if not the largest trade companies on the Island. In later years, the family branched out into other portions of trade. They purchased many farms, and mines around the island, and became richer by the year. By the time independence was achieved, the Tarniffs were one of the only families left supporting the crown. Although in time, they learned to not be so vocal about their opinions, they were widely distrusted by the public as being loyalists. As the years past, the family wealth continued to grow, and in 1914 Owen James Tarniff I made a move that would eventually come to make the Tarniffs a multi-national power in trade. In a highly ridiculed move at the time, Owen formed and managed one of the first airlines in Europe, "Tarniff Trans-Atlantic Flights". Although this was thought of to be a fool's action, TT-AF began growing. By the end of World War 2, they had become a major influence with allied European forces, having supplied designs for a majority of aircraft used in the war. By the time the fifties rolled around, TT-AF was the largest airline in Europe.

On October 15, 1965, Owen I died do to a fatal stroke, leaving his entire fortune, and indeed his highly successful corporation to his son Owen James Tarniff II. Owen II would continue running TT-AF just as his father had until 1973. It was then that he bought out several rival airlines, and renamed his corporation "Major Airlines". Owen II became one of the most famous (and richest) people in Europe over night. Over the next forty years, he would become a multi-millionare, and become the driving force in European air travel. Over the years, he has used his significant influence to promote free market trade, and Economic Freedom throughout Aurentina.

    - "I Have Said it many times before, so I will say it again. When I joined the senate of Aurentina, I made the public my number one concern. While I would, obviously, like to protect my interests as CEO of Major Airlines, I will always place this nation ahead of my own personal interests."

Mine doesn't have a house because she donates most of her salary to charity. Well, that and the fact that she's an ecologist might have something to do with her lack of a permanent residence.

Occupation: Senator, Farmer
Party Position(s):
Senator, Community Organizer

Positions in Government: Senator
Senator

Constituency: N/A
Political Ideology: Libertarian communism
Family: Wife - Emilia Deeds
Background: Zachary Deeds was born and raised on a small farm in rural Texas, in the years following the second world. Zachary was somewhat quiet and isolated in his youth, focusing on his studies, spending most of his free time working on his parents farm. He graduated at the top of his high school class, and was awarded a scholarship to a prestigious university abroad in Aurentinia to study agricultural science.

While at the university, Zachary met Emilia Holloway(another American), who would later become his wife. Emilia introduced Zachary to communist political theory, which he embraced and has spent the rest of his life advocating for. Zachary would also become involved in a number of radical student groups on campus during the height of the counter-culture, and made a name for himself by delivering several high-profile speeches denouncing militarism, and discrimination.

After graduating, Zachary married Emilia, and together they moved to a rural area in southern Aurentinia where they would found a democratically managed cooperative farm, which would serve as a model for several others in the surrounding region, and around the nation. Emilia became a writer, and has written several novels which have met with some success. Zachary became involved in local politics, serving several terms on the school board, and several more in the provincial legislature before being elected to the Aurentinian Senate as a member of the Communist Party.
