The Drej leader ordered all fighters that were shooting at the ship that had crashed, and ordered them to go to flying just above them. One soldiers landed and got out of its ship. It began walking towered the survivers. "stay calm. Drop all of your weopons, and no one will get hurt."

Meanwhile, in the tunnel, soldiers were coming out, and not getting into ships. now they began to go towered the crashed ship. Bt it would take a while. However the leader could wait.

Irons watched as his ship pummeled the Drej cruiser and his point defense, laser and missile, sliced into the Drej fighter formations like a hot knife through butter. It would not be long until the ship was destroyed under the hail of fire that the Defiant was putting out. Irons checked the tactical display and saw the Nowhere Else coming about and charging the other cruiser. He smirked; oh that Captain, he was a rather vicious one. Suddenly, his communication officer spoke up. "Sir, we've got an incoming transmission...its apparently from the F799 people; a new ship have theirs came out of hyperspace and sent out a transmission." Irons sighed.

"Play it for me. Let's see what these idiots have to say."

Attention all commanding officers within the Koran system,
I am Captain Alonzo A'pmir of The F799 Criminal Syndicate. While we have recently allied ourselves with the newly discovered Drej people, and have always maintained a peace with the Asuawan government, it is my express desire to cease all hostilities having occurred within this region. Further bloodshed and war are not what is desired. It is well known of the Drej's forcible attacks on our ally The Gank Federation, as well as their crass attitude in dealing with what they consider to be meddling outsiders. What is still not entirely known is the Drej's complete reasoning for these rash attacks outside their own dimension. At this time, I humbly request that all engaged fighting craft stand down until something can be peacefully worked out. Each day across the galaxy thousands of fathers, mothers, sons and daughters loose their lives to needless bloodshed, and millions of credits are wasted on useless warfare, let this battlefield not stand as a testament to that, but as a testament to the ability of different quarreling races' ability to work together peacefully.

The bridge crew watched as Irons face mottled and his neck muscles bulged as he listened to his man speak. The entire crew was rather pissed, seeing as they had been given records of what had been going on before they had arrived, and the Drej were anything but people you would want to speak to. The communication officer, watching this, read the second message and winced. He didn't want to mention it but his duty forced him to. He was about to speak when one of the bridge crew walked over and laid a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Mara, the ship's digisent officer. Digisent, short for digital sentience, were basically walking masses of nanites that were born and developed, just like any human child, and were A.I.'s yet not A.I's, as they weren't created artificial. As per the Arizona Nova laws, whom they had gotten the help in birthing the digisents, they were accepted as full citizens and afforded the same rights as them. Mara walked up to Irons, who immediately relaxed. "Sorry to bother you, Tim, but the same ship released another transmission, similar to this one." He stared at her.

"Let me guess..."

"...they threatened to attack us if we didn't stand down. That is correct." Irons' eyes narrowed.

"Very well. Communications, open a channel to this Flying Wagon."

"Aye sir. Channel open."

"Flying Wagon, this is the Defiant. Nice speech, but it only shows how idiotic you are. For all your sentimental talk of saving lives and being civilized, you have allied yourself with a species who do not come from this dimension or time, and are an unnatural abomination in this plane of existence, and have virtually destroyed your ally because the Gank apparently violated some law. Don't believe me? Here's a quote from the dialogue the Ta'Nar captain had with the Drej:

"we have not made the Gank Federation into the stone age. We are just collecting rent. They were in our territory, they didn't pay, they are now paying."

So the Gank, not knowing they were somehow in Drej territory, which isn't theirs due to not being from this galaxy/dimension/time, were invaded, probably genocided seeing how these Drej work, and conquered. And you want me to stand down from this blatant offense at civility and REASON, to sit down and talk to the beings whose logic makes less sense that a seven year old child on spice? No, I will not stand down, and if you have any reason in that brain of yours, you will see that allying with them is a mistake and you will aid us in dealing with them. Should you choose to be an idiot and attack me, I will not spare you or any of your forces in this system. Do not cross me, Captain A'pmir; I do not take transgressions lightly.

Captain Y’Nahr listened to Irons’ transmission to the new F799 and chuckled. He could see why Irons was a captain with that fire in his veins. Turning to Marcus, the Ta’Nar asked him to open a channel to the new arrival.

I for one cannot understand how your nation thinks. You claim to be allies to the Gank Federation but when they are attacked you do not stand behind them, instead selling them out to the very ones who not only attacked them but also enslaved them and are actively practicing genocide upon your old trusted allies. After that admission, who in their right mind would agree to anything your nation proposes if you will not even stick up for what you claimed was an old ally? If you sell your friends out this easily, who here is stupid enough to believe anything you offer. Who is gullible enough to rust after you admit to such gross betrayal?

The Drej have been trying to provoke war and caused the battle by their actions and deeds. We have only entered this mess when the party they provoked was ganged up upon by your forces, that of the Ruvian, and the Drej. One ship against three nations is not fair unless that one ship is a Ta’Nar. The Imperium requested we assist them and I will tear that rock apart to retrieve them and the Gank who remain alive.

It is sad; a complete stranger is more Honorable than old friends and neighbors. Perhaps the Gank were unfortunate to have you as either and doomed for having you as both.

Now, something to ponder. What is to stop the Drej from deciding they want your territory for themselves. It is not as if the Gank have just arrived here, the scans show cities centuries old on the surface. The Gank probably spent millions of years developing their society only to have those they trusted betray them and allow this atrocity to happen. Perhaps you should side with them instead of the invaders, unless you are so terrified of the louts and I have yet to see anything frightening.

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

"Sir the Imperium ship is falling away! scans show it has lost structural integrity! we won sir! we-"
a massive explosion ripped through the hull of the ship as torpedoes previously unseen by the ship struck dealing massive damage to the shields and hull.

"Sir shields are fluctuating down to 8 percent we are losing hull structure and we have lost engine number 1"

"Find out who fired those damn torpedoes and begin firing at them. begin hull regeneration."

Reading the transmissions he had just recieved A'pmir sent this out to all.

We are the F799 Criminal Syndicate. While the Gank were our allies, we had simply allied with them given their proximity to F799 and their warmongering nature, in an effort to protect ourselves. While many of you say the Drej are just as bad if not worse, we beg to differ. Given the opportunity thta no one else has taken save for Asuaw, we took a Drej aboad a Syndicate vessel, as an ambassador. Once aboad we began negoations, After initial posturing by both sides, we were able to get down to the brass tacks and talk things out. Thus disproving any theories on their intelligence level or abilities to negotiate. We found them to be savvy and while aggressive, no more aggressive than many nations I have encountered and less so than many, some in this system perhaps. War is not the only option in this situation. The Drej have ganted permision for emmissaries to be deployed on the planet, and only one nation has taken that offer. The rest of you simply oepned fire, creating a epic space battle that need not occur. THe Drej, fools? i think not. I think the biggest fools are those here who would throw away thier lives and the lives of their crews for a battle that need not ever be fought. Unlike the Gank, the Drej exhibit some form of peaceful understanding. While we could not ever cooperate with the Gank for fear of their actions bringing more harm than good, we do not feel that way about the Drej.

This galaxy is billions of years old. To claim that the Drej do not belong is foolhardy, perhaps they originated here and left thousnads of years ago. Perhaps this was originally their planet and in some multibillion year real estate agreement they lent it to those who are now the Gank Federation. Perhaps, that contract expired. The point is, the only things people know for sure are that the Drej arived out of a blackhole, which only the Syndicate can vouch for, the rest of you must take it on faith, and that they have waged some sort of blitzkreig on The Gank Federation, and The Gank Federation only. They have not attacked any other nearby systems, just those belonigng to Gank. These facts alone cuase me to stop and wonder what else may have occurred between these two people's in the past. A past we know nothing about.

All that I am asking for is that we all stop in order to determine what is in fact going on, instead of leaping to conclusions as fast as you all leap for your blinking red FIRE button on your control panels. Is it to mcuh to ask for logic from the captains and commanders of such massive war vessels?

After sending this, the captain turned right around and sent a high ecrptyion message to the surface of the planet Koran, to the leaders of the Drej forces.

I am Captain A'pmir. Recently our two people entered into alliance together against the hostile forces no plaguing your skies. We are currently attempting to establish negotions with them. If you will call you forces back to the planet or my vessel and order them to hold your fire as a sign of goodwill, we may be able to divert unwanted bloodshed on yours and my parts. The Asuaw have a representative planetside now, we ask you treat them with the utmost respect, as they are our friends and allies. Once you have pulled back your vessels, if the enemy continues to press the attack I and my vessel will join the fray in asisting you in what ways we can. I can have another Syndicate vessel on scene within a matter of minutes if the need arises. For all our sakes I hope it does not.

After this message, too, was sent. The Captain quicky began working to power up a variety of energy wells on the surface of his vessel. At this time the shields remained unaffected by the new energy outputs of the vessel, as it's massive enrgy system could still afford to provide either one with massive boosts of energy if the need arose.
If I have posted/done something to offend anyone (godmodded, etc etc) please shoot me a telegram and I will try and make it right!

I reserve the right to respectfully withdraw from any threads in which the OP has become inactive within for over a week or to incorporate the thread and a chosen outcome of my choice into this nations history for future RP purposes.

Captain Y’Nahr was speaking with Captain Irons when the message from the F799 vessel arrived. They both listened to the message and Y’Nahr could hear Irons blowing a gasket. The Ta’Nar wondered how such an emotional man could command a vessel so cold and calculated; perhaps it was one of his talents. Mara accessed the Comm channel and asked the Ta’Nar to reply while Irons was cooling off.

“Gladly Mara. Have him count to ten.”

“I’ve done that twice already. I am about to inject him with some nanos to see if it would help.”

“Hahaha, let me know if it does.”

Marcus opened a channel for Y’Nahr and routed the control to a blinking red button on the control panel.

Esteemed Captain A’pmir.

You are obviously a great ally to the Drej. Within minutes of your arrival they already have you bending over backwards to pull anything out of non-reality to explain their actions. This makes you their best friends and logically since your other ship was here and allowed this atrocity to happen it would allow you to be an accomplice to mass genocide and enslavement of a sentient species which had lived and evolved in this area of space for millions of years if not longer.

Just quit your Posturing. You are plainly trying to justify anything your Drej friends are telling you. You have become their puppet, their mouthpiece in this atrocity. I bet your hands are also soiled by the blood of all the Gank that were ruthlessly slaughtered by these angels of civilization you fully endorse.

If you had the Honor you falsely project, you would not have tried to gang up on the Imperium vessel. By my count there was your massive ship, almost two dozen Ruvian craft, the unknown vessel that fired upon our torpedoes, and who knows how many Drej ships all against a single vessel. This shows cowardice in battle and the willingness to gang up and act like uncivilized common thugs. You actually expect us to take your word in anything at all? You expect us to take the word of a backstabbing ally of a bunch of invading slavers?

Do you want to know how “civilized” and “understanding” your little basket angels are? Every single message they have sent to us included gross threats and they have tried to convince your colleague to attack us unprovoked. It is all on record and I am sending it along with this message for you to listen to. The evidence is easily backing the Imperium opening fire due to hostile threats against their vessel. They requested assistance when they were jumped by thirty thug laden vessels of untrustworthy thugs.

I am sorry, without any Honor behind your words; they have the value of excrement for that is what you do to your allies by your own admission. I cannot accept your Word on anything.

Now please excuse me, real men have to fight since I am about to be entering close combat. You can run to the corner market and get some snacks for that is all you are currently good for. Please do not bother me unless you are surrendering or something else helpful. You and your predecessor have thrown all credibility out the airlock so stay out of this or I will bring in vessels like your Ruvian ally has.

Speaking of them, sensors shows they are now attacking me. Please don’t bother me while I am working.

**records of mentioned conversations transmitted as a clean file**

Y’Nahr closed the channel and spoke to the Shipmind.

“Marcus, set targeting on the Ruvian vessels. When they launch or close within maximum distance alert me. We will take care of them but first we get to eat these two Drej for breakfast.”

"Should I keep an eye on Ol' Wormtongue's vessel? He is trying to slowly build up power without raising attention."

"Of course, we can't trust them. Send the scan results to Irons."

First Officer Deril finally decided he needed to throw in Asuaw's voice before this became a bloodbath, or whatever it was in the case of the drej.
The following transmission was beamed to all ships
Fellow officers, this is Captain Deril, of the Asuawan Navy. I plead with you to consider negotiations, before a war is started. As I am only temporary captain, my superior, Captain Poxas, is on the ground attempting to negotiate with the Drej as we speak. I ask that any combat please be halted until negotations have finished

Meanwhile, a message was sent to Captain Poxas, informing him of the situation. Poxas turned to the Drej representative. "It seems things are heating up, so I must get right to the point. What claim do you have to Gank space and what are you intending to do?"

The Drej listened to the messages that it was able to traslate, and immediantly ordered all ships to either get down to the planet, or get out of firing range of everything. The two vessels behind the Nowhere else, immediantly went out of the system. All fighters were immediately made to go towards the planet, inside one of the burning cities on the planet. Then the laeder sent a message to all to hear.
Thank you F799. Nowhere Else, I believe you came into our system and began working or doing something on our star without our permission. We then asked you to leave, but you did not, and trheatened to even take the star. This is known as thievery to the Drej. And we were not the first ones to open fire. Someone decided to get bloodthirsty, and while we asked them to leave or talk to us, they immedintly attacked us. These actions are acts of war. However, right now, i have ordered all of my ships to leave yours alone, giving you all a chance for us to discuss things peacefully. I request that one of us volunteers to let some representatives onboard to discuss things peacefully. Should anyone of you take advantage of this and shoot at Drej, F799, or Asauw' ships, i will order my ships to continue fighting.

The Drej leader then noticed there was a time message on it's screen. "More ships?" it said. The Drej replied "not yet, no" the message would be undetectable for anything, for the message, was not in the real time.

Meanwhile, a message was sent to Captain Poxas, informing him of the situation. Poxas turned to the Drej representative. "It seems things are heating up, so I must get right to the point. What claim do you have to Gank space and what are you intending to do?"

"You do not need to know that right now. We are intending to spread our culture and power to every possible point in every galaxy." the representative replied.

We came to the aid of the drej because a xenophobic ship launched a unprovoked attack on them. Maybe you don't remember but the drej promised to kill gank civilians if they were attacked. We could not let this happen. While it is true that the drej dis focibly remove a government from power and began to enslave them we would NOT allow the actions of one foolish empire thAt does not even exist in our time to plunge the galaxy into war. This next part is for the imperium survivors on the planet. Your so called god emperor has abandoned you. Surrender. As for the drej turning on us well no offense to our allies but we could easily destroy them based on what we have seen here.

Defeated.

He expected a merciful fate, his death so he could rest in the eternity of nonexistence. There was no mercy. He knew it when he saw as the traitors and doppelgangers stopped launching barrages of guided stellar ballistic missiles and gauss cannon APEC rounds against the ACS Libertad as it spent its anti-ballistic ammunitions and missiles to stop them before they could hit it, from light-seconds away, and the "invisible" pulsed beams of ultraviolet lasers stopped to come at their direction to which they barely managed to dodge before using vectored thrust and careful maneuvering out of harm's way. That meant only one thing, and he began to shudder in fear, aware of what was about to happen, that they would steal his memories, his body, and kill his consciousness.

Suddenly he lost control over the torchship, they took it from him. They were coming, he began to feel the dread of being about to die. He wanted to shoot against the scums, against such monsters that were trying to destroy everything they built in that planet. Hatred and fear were his only feelings, until everything ended.

And began, he saw again, the Libertad from a third person's perspective. He couldn't believe, for he assumed oblivion would be his fate. He checked the information. There were enemy spacecrafts, but they weren't firing. He felt something was amiss, until finally, the only other crew member in the spacecraft came ahead of him, blocking part of his view of the outer space all around them in such projection of the outside.

"You! What have you done to me? Monster!"

"Listen Lucas, I know this will be shocking for you, but you are not fighting against doppelgangers, you are fighting against your own friends, against your own people... and if you continue this fight, now that now you are one of those you call 'monsters' " the woman next to him said with a strong French accent.

"Noooo! This can't be true! You are lying to me! I know what you want, scum, you want to manipulate me into helping you, but I will never help you! Never! I am... damn it! Where is my brain?" he looked at the "crew quarters" of the spacecraft, a small space where the brains of the crew were stored.

"It is a piece of flesh without consciousness now... your consciousness was transferred to another vessel, Lucas, to a self-replicating one."

"Don't lie to me! Doppelganger! You are not Jeanne, you are not Jeanne!" he shouted loudly, as he tried to grab her by the collar.

"Silly, didn't you forget we have no physical bodies inside this spacecraft?" Jeanne smiled, "come on, try to have a little open mind about this... think about it, weren't you all into that post-human bollocks? Now you just achieved it, why treat it as the worst thing ever? Don't you see, if we were doppelgangers, you would be dead now, not alive."

Lucas took a deep sigh, seeing the futility of trying anything other than suicide, and began to ponder about it, and he didn't know whether he found more pleasant to believe it was lying to him or that he truly became one of them. Finally he spoke:

"Then prove you are not just sparing me to use me against my people!"

"Very well, very well," Jeanne sighed, "why don't we take a ride through the universe? If I was using you I would try to make you approach your old friends, who now unfortunately are going to think you are a doppelganger rather than yourself," she made a very cynical smirk when mentioning it, "and use you to get important information to them and give them suggestions on strategy to help our war effort."

"Agreed, whatever you are," he frowned, "but where?"

"Let us hook into the communication systems of your," she coughed, "allies, check if there is anything interesting going on."

"Interesting as in?"

"I presume you have a growing desire to kill yourself now," Jeanne looked down, "so why not do it like a real man rather than like a, let me consult the clique database for the words," she made a very straight face, "pathetic emo who is a mockery to humanity."

"I see, although I haven't decided yet whether to end my life or not," he shook his head, "let me check it."

He began to browse the unified communications network of the ESUS. He eventually would take notice of the fact both the Ta'Nar and the Telrosians had forces deployed in the same system, and that most likely meant something big was happening there. He then passed the coordinates to Jeanne, wondering for a while, until he finally asked:

"Could you take us there?" he made a cynical grin, "it will be a favor to humanity if we both die, provided you are telling the truth, or if you die, provided you are lying, and perhaps, there could be something worse than doppelgangers like you there..."

"I am not a Doppelganger! I am Jeanne, like I said, my consciousness was transferred from my former eldar brain to these self-replicating machines we are now made of. Are you this thick-headed to get it?" Jeanne sighed and looked down.

"All right, I will give you the benefit of doubt," he scowled, "for now. But I will keep an eye on you, if you try anything that looks like a deception. I presume you know how to guide the Libertad towards that system."

"I am not an expert navigator, but we should give it a try," Jeanne answered, rubbing her chin and giving a frustrated glance at him, "if that is what it takes prove I am really your friend and not a monster stealing her identity."

"I will set the webway drive them, I hope you won't get us lost."

"No worries," Jeanne smiled, "whatever danger could be there is something we could subdue in our current, pain-immune form. It is not as bad as the Warp. We will be safe, even if we get lost."

"That is very comforting."

"Look, it is your choice, Lucas, if you don't want to go there, don't."

"No! I want to go there! If I stay here I could end helping your kind!" Lucas shouted.

"How polite! How polite!" Jeanne clapped her hands, "very well, what are you waiting for them? I can't really seize control from you now, as it recognizes you as its legit pilot, and because became like me, I cannot really change that fact now."

"Stop claiming things without proof please?" he frowned, "once we are over doing this, maybe I'll consider your words, but not now."

And thus, The ACS Libertad departed from the system, travelling through a parallel universe where time and space were not as solid and well-defined, which although not as safe as slower-than-light travel would be, it was far more safe than the Hellish Immaterium, the previous method Solarians used to make Einstein roll over in his grave.

It was a mazelike universe, through which only strong psychics could find any path and way in or out. They journeyed through it, as time itself seemed to no longer be perceivable, sometimes wondering when the way to their destination would be close enough. It took perhaps the equivalent of weeks when Jeanne finally claimed the words:

"I am sensing the way to our destination, be ready for anything once we leave."

"I thought you were lost, finally some good news for a change."

The Libertad departed that universe, returning to the material universe again. It didn't make too much of a ruckus, simply appearing out of nowhere as it slowly materialized into the space, about half light-seconds away from the planet where the engagement seeemed to be happening, roughly above, behind and to their left in the three-dimensional and vast space of the system. The only perceivable energy was that of its massive antimatter torch drives, which left a massive and hot trailing behind it. Other than its engine nozzles, the entire conical spacecraft was covered in a very thick layer of ice, with its weapons concealed, likely beneath its hull, features common to all Assault Core Spacecrafts.

"What the?" Lucas observed from the artificial third person view, as he zoomed in countless times towards the planet, seeing the engagement that seemed to be happening there. Apparently the Telrosians were already attacking several assets close to the planet. He didn't really trust the Ta'Nar, and having to think quickly, he immediately sent a quantum encrypted transmission towards the Telrosian flagship.

"This is Lucas from the ACS Libertad of the Solarian Defense Contract, requesting brief situation report, over."

"I am not sure if it is a wise idea for you to get involved in this," Jeanne touched his shoulder, warning.

"I just want to know what the hell is going on! I am not a person to shoot first, ask questions later." he answered, as he awaited an answer from one of their allies who at least were far more reasonable than the usual ESUS crew. Whether he would choose to become involved or not, was yet to be seen.

Your logic is flawed. You claim that it is wrong to start a war because of a nation who is displaced out of time but you would hand over the lives of said crew and the entire Gank society to a nation who belongs neither in this universe nor timeline. That is a double standard Sir and I might point out that the Imperium belongs in this universe more than the Drej do. They both have been displaced temporally but I guess doing the easy thing is better than doing the Right thing.

What do you think the Drej will do once they tire of their puppets? They will use you to replace their slaves, the ones you are allowing them to keep right now. You are no better than the Droids, shifting your morals and the Truth to fit the situation. Get a damn backbone and stand up for what is Right. You claim to be able to take the Drej when you feel like it but yet your claim of power is not evident when you let your morals hold back your sword and allow others to be enslaved. When you allow the virus to gain a foothold it will be harder to apply the cure and many more will lose their lives. Perhaps you should ask their captives if they like it there. Perhaps you will be joining them sooner than you think. I know I will not for I am not afraid to oppose them.

“Marcus, turn us about to face the enemy.”

“Right away Captain.”

“Have we reloaded from the volley?”

“Yes.”

“Eject all our torpedoes but do not activate them. Begin the reload immediately and open a channel to the others in the system.”

The Nowhere Else turned on its axis while ejecting torpedo after torpedo, all downward below the gravitational plane. After the last volley was ejected and the ship again facing the enemies crowded mostly around the planet the open channel again came to life.

The Drej currently want to now talk after holding all the captives. All the hostages are in their hands so we have nothing to bargain with. I have taken steps to level the field, so to say. There are now 106 Grav Torps released into the void. They will activate and go FTL. Once they Changeover into Space Plus, they will circle the system. In one hour, they will return and randomly target every ship but mine and my friend’s here. Those that are still enemies will find a torpedo returning to Real Space targeting their ships. The Drej has their hostages, I now have mine. Oh, if you attempt to harm us in any way my Shipmind will transmit a failsafe code and put them on automatic.

I see your raise and I call, time to show our hands.

Over a hundred singularities formed below The Nowhere Else and sped downward away from the others at a descending right angle. With bright flash each went FTL, leaving Real Space behind as they slipped into the 5th dimension.

“Captain, all torps are in place. I am also picking up a disturbance associated with W-Space.”

“Monitor it and let me know immediately. I don’t trust anyone here but Captain Irons. Keep him informed too.”

Seeing the new ruse put forth with the threat of black hole wielding torpedoes, Captain A'pmor slammed his fist on his control console. "The vile megalomaniac!" he hissed, "threatening to attack an unarmed vessel for views he disagrees with."

Opening a broadband message the Flying Wagon sent out this message. "People of all nations, the stakes have been raised in a way that is most unethical. If this is how one wishes to play, we of The F799 Criminal Syndicate are willing to accomodate. As occured over the planet Gank, the same will occur for every warmonger in this system, including myself if the need arises. Do not test The Syndicate, you will be found on the loosing side. We are as a plague, throughout the universe, on many worlds, The Syndicate has operatives and stations. Should you bring about an attack on this vessel it will be likened to an act of war on any other nation, to which we shall respond in turn. Instead of battlefields littered with the dead, you will be faced with invisible warriors striking from within your own ranks. You will be brought down through fear and acts of sheer terror. Nothing will stop The Syndicate should you attempt to destroy this emissary. The times for negotiation have not yet passed; they have only been strained. Cease all activity. Seeing that this vessel has not yet engaged in open hostilites, unlike most here, and that we are large enough to comfortably house all ambassadors and emissaries, it is proposed that all involved in this skirmish cease fire and send their representatives, along with a sufficient security detail to the Flying Wagon. Once here we may all begin discussing a peaceful end to this solution. If you refuse, please refuse with a solution for a better solution than this needless bloodshed. If you do not have a solution, than do not argue. It would seem that those of us who are seeking any peaceful means are being shunned by those of you, who in the name of saving others, engage in needless warmongering. This question I pose to one and all: Cannot one work to prevent the genocide of another race without beginning a war? If one cannot why does he/she/it have a position of authority? Is your country that defunct of morality that they recruit the logic-abscent that now command your powerful vessels?"

"Pathetic fool" Growled the captain of the Rage after the message of the torpedos circling the system.

"Signal the fleet to raise their singularity shields. We do not know if the shields will hold but its worth a shot."

Message to Balrogga:
We warn should any ANY of your torpedos hit us you will unleash a storm the likes of which you have never seen. How dare you try to hold an entire system hostage? what will become of the civilians here hmm? disable your torpedos do not start a war that will devestate us both you have no right to do what your doing.

know this. if any of those torpedoes hit us, you will be in a galaxy of hurt. I have recently gotten a message from my surperior, and if needed, i could bring any number of ships. Now, about my offer. Whose ship could we agree on?

We are not holding the entire system hostage, just the military ships within it who are aggressive and hostile toward myself and my allies. Enough said on this, as long as the Drej holds his cards, it is only fair that I do so also. Only a fool goes into negotiations without something to offer for then they will get nothing, only lose everything.

As far as y\the Threats of bringing in more ships, it seems a single Ta'Nar frigate and their Telrosian friend is doing quite well against several dozen of your best. I could do the same as you have and suggest bringing in a Battlegroup or even a Fleet but then there would be nothing to negotiate.

The hour is getting shorter as you complain. I will board a shuttle and head to the offered vessel. I need not explain what would happen if something would happen to me or the shuttle.

Moments later a sleek ship emerged from the hull of the frigate and shot toward the F799 vessel at relativistic speeds. It veered away well before the ship and circled waiting for clearance to land

Quickly a hail was detected from the Balrogga vessel. Signalling permission to land, a tractor beam zipped out of the Flying Wagon to guide the ship into the massive hangar. Once inside the large area, crammed full of thousands upon thousands of deactivated droid starfighters, a contingency of 100 battle droids (circa SW episode 1) aaited the party to disembark so that they could be escorted to the conference room.

The Captain had momentarily turned life support on within the hnagar and hallways leading to the conference room, something that was normally kept offline so that more energy could be diverted to shields and other areas of the ship; but for the sake of his guests he now allowed this expenditure of energy in an attempt to help them feel more welcome.

When the crew disembarked from the ship a single droid with yellow head paint stepped forward. Greetings. I am HOP-32. I am to escort you and your personal guards to the conference room to begin peaceful negotiations concerning the useless open hostilities now occurring in the space outside this vessel. PLease follow me."
and with that the droid turned and began to walk. Other droids would soon follow suit, forming a small escort around the ambassador's party.

As the Drej guard was ordering the Imperials to surrender, they dithered, repeating asking him questions, until there was audible the sound of a relatively small vessel launching. Before the Drej could look for it, an Aquilla-class shuttle had shot up into the sky, heading for the F799 Syndicate ship. As it sped through space, it sent a message to the F799 ship.

After discussion among the successors of Admiral Staveloc, it has been decided that I, Captain Manital, will take over until proper policies can be followed. We wish to join this...diplomatic...effort to bring peace to the stars. However, the Drej are attempting to exterminate my crew. If this is not halted, we will have no choice but violent resistance.

The Drej soldier who was at the ship backed away, got into its ship, and flew into one of the burning cities. the rest of th fighters followed.

The Drej leader then got up, and wet to one of its fighters. It decided that this meeting needed it. The Drej leader ordered that the base be protected, and that anyone that was not made of energy to be shot. It then got into a fighter, and flew towereds the Flying Wagon.

The Stiletto shuttlecraftslid into the landing bay guided by the tractor beam. The silver vessel continued to hover silently, settling to within centimeters of the deck but never touching it. The side of the vessel seemed to liquefy and run down the hull, exposing a door. The liquid metal formed three independently hovering steps. The door opened without a sound and out stepped a single being clothed in the blue captain’s robes.

Captain Y’Nahr descended the steps and turned back to the ship for a moment. The steps melted and flowed up the hull sealing over the closed door. Turning back around to face his reception committee, the Ta’Nar waited.

Y’Nahr looked around at the massive force of armed droids surrounding him and chuckled. This is exactly what he expected from them and he hoped it was not only him. If it was then it only proved the Ta’Nar were the most dangerous race here. He could love with that, seeing as they knew absolutely nothing about them other than rumors.

One of the droids approached painted like a bumblebee. Mr Bumblebee spoke to him, introducing itself.

"Greetings. I am HOP-32. I am to escort you and your personal guards to the conference room to begin peaceful negotiations concerning the useless open hostilities now occurring in the space outside this vessel. PLease follow me."

“Certainly, but you are mistaken, I need no bodyguards and I figured walking into negotiations with guns would be improper. I will follow you though.”

The Ta’Nar followed his massive escort to the meeting room. Once there he settled down to wait while time ticked by.

In the landing bay, the shuttle began to passively scan its surroundings, drinking in every but of information if could draw in without emitting a single electron thus appearing to be completely inactive.

The lead droid and his escort of 10 droids, quickly led the Balroggan captain to a conference room, exactly the same as the one the Drej ambassodr had recently sat in in the last Syndicate vessel in the system. Around the edges of the room stood 7 different droids that appeared to be simple translator units, in an effort to engage that smooth communications went as well as possible.

Once the ambassodr was escorted to the room the droids returned to the hangar to await the next representative.
**************

Stepping into the room an attractive young man appearing to be in his late 20s entered the room. He wore the simply uniform of The syndicate naval forces, snuggly fitting black pants and tunic and a black cap. "Good day captain, may I offer you a refreshment of some sort? We have a limited variety onhand of fresh fruit juices, but can easily synthesize a drink up to your request."

As the shuttle flew from the wreckage of the battleship, Murphy decided things were going far too well.

Every ship of the Imperium is equipped with a Warp Drive. This is how they travel faster than light. However, this is a device that is very unstable; if it were to implode, it could cause a Warp tear large enough for daemons and other denizens of the Warp to escape. Murphy decided, in this case, that it should implode. Not just implode, however. The implosion caused a Warp tear, in a explosion of energy so great that it killed most of the survivors of the crash, who had started scavenging things from the ship. The release of these souls empowered the Warp tear greatly, and made it permanent. Before long, the servants of Chaos had learned of this new rift, and chaos cultists poured forth, along with the lesser daemons.

The Drej leader then got up, and wet to one of its fighters. It decided that this meeting needed it. The Drej leader ordered that the base be protected, and that anyone that was not made of energy to be shot. It then got into a fighter, and flew towereds the Flying Wagon.

The Flying Wagon quickly locked tractor beams on this newly arrived ship, escorting it in the exact smae way into the hangar alongside the other emissaries vessel. Once inside the same procedure was carried out. A greeting by the droids and escort to the meeting room with the Balroggan representative.

Meanwhile on the bridge Captain A'pmir was disappointed that his offer had been so neglected. At the very least he hoped that he and the ambasadors aboard could work something out.

Suddenly a flash erupted on the surface as the downed vessel exploded into the warp (?) and being started to pour out of this odd rift. Whatever was going on, way to many beings from blackholes and ohter dimensions were threatening any chance of peace in this system. WIthout ever giving up control of the ship A'pmir marched down the long hallways to the conference room where the other mabassadors were now waiting.

Stepping in he nodded to the Drej ambassador, unsure if he could shake it's hand, and extended his hand to the representative of Balrogga. "Good day. I am Captain A'pmir. I am sorry to see the unfortunate circumstances that have bought us together today. I hope that we can easily work these dilemmas out peacefully. Although it would seem that others in this system desire a more violent end at an even greater cost to the planet Koran than has already been taken. I speak of the Khornate worshippers, who even now are destroying their own to allow worshippers of the chaos and void onto the planet to destroy any hopes of a peaceful reconciliation between the Ganks, Drej and any other ambassadors within this system."

On the planet, the remaining wreckage of the ship was the location of small skirmishes between the remainder of the Imperial forces and the first emerging beings. The cultist swarms quickly overran most of the positions controlled by the remaining forces of the Imperium of Man.

Atop a nearby hill, the only real position the Imperials still held, was Commissar Gerbi's last stand. The swarms of cultists and daemons charged up the hill, being constantly shot at by the Imperial forces. Eventually, seeing them still coming, Trooper Gervais broke and ran. Before he could get even a single metre, Gerbi fired his bolt pistol at Gervais' head, exploding it and sending blood and brain matter everywhere.

"If you will not serve in battle, then you will serve on the firing line!" shouted the Commissar, before continuing to return fire on the cultists. An Imperial heavy bolter, being just been set up, started spewing fire into the oncoming wave of heretics and traitors, cutting them down quickly, but not quickly enough. One of the cultists drew his sword down his own body, spraying blood onto the ground. He then arose, flying up into the sky by some unknown force, twisting as he did so. At about five feet above the ground, he exploded, and as he did so a giant Bloodthirster came into the world.

The Drej leader looked at the captain, then at the Balrogga representative. It gave a slight nod to the representative, then said. "yes i am aware of that. Fortunately, the Norak have been prepared for situations for demons and other things of the like. Now before these discussions go too far, right now the representative from Asuaw will be here shortly" While the being talked, it communicated back to the other beings back at the planet to send the Asauw representative to the F799 ship, and to be ready for anything.

The Drej being suddenly held up an energetic hand, paused for a few moments, and said "it appears that further discussions are going to happen on a F799 ship. If you let us, we will lead you to a transport ship to take you to the ship."
