IIRC you wanted a Hurricane right?

Could say your flight combat experience was during the Fall of France, bit of action over Dunkirk and then during the Battle of Britain.

My Cold Dead Hands Part Three: Let Slip the Dogs of War

When Silva looks back now on that woman, that small farmhouse, and that day, he has only one regret. He never learned her name. She asked him only for his name, allowed him to sleep for the rest of the day, and when he woke up the next morning she was gone. A note explained she had gone to a nearby city in hopes of finding work, she said she couldn't run the farm on her own. It was unsigned. Saddened, but understanding, Silva grabbed his MP-18, his grenades, as much food as he could gather, and exited the house. He made it back to friendly lines. It has been a year and a half. It is now 1938, and Silva is doing what he does best. Kill the enemy.

Silva's radio crackled as a hail of bullets stitched it's way up the front of his wing. Reacting quickly, Silva spun up and to the left, pulling a loop around the enemy. A scream came out of the radio.

"Gue Cinquentas! Gue Cinquentas! Es el puto italianos!" G-Fifties! G-Fifties! It's the fucking Italians! A Spaniard, judging from the Spanish. Anatol Serov, nicknamed "Mateo Rodrigo", yelled back into the Radio.

"Cierra la boca maldito tonto!" Shut the fuck up you dumb bastard! Mateo considered the Airwaves his personal property, and would verbally ream anyone who infringed on the strict set of rules he governed it with. The first of which was if your news wasn't brand new, don't say it. The second of which was Russian is the only language allowed when the squadron was in the air. Mateo continued.

"Все бойцы, образуют трубку. Давайте пошлем этих ублюдков в ад!" All Fighters, form up on me. Let's send these bastards to hell!

Silva swung into position on Mateo's flank, even as more Fiat G-50 Italian Fighters began to make up their own formation. It was the dead of night, so when Mateo ordered his next trick, it would take the Italians by surprise. Even the most junior member of the Squadron knew that when Mateo ordered all his planes together, there was only one possible command coming.

"Выключи свет!" Kill the lights! All the fighters turned off their running lights. now they were nothing more than slightly inky splotches against the stars.
"Хорошо, на них!" Alright, at them! This command was why Mateo had ordered his squadron into a seemingly suicidal formation. Now they could stay firmly connected to each other, whereas the enemy were scattered, out of formation, and brightly lit against the stars. Silva pressed his thumbs, and a spray of bullets illuminated his nose for a moment, but did far worse to the Italian, who caught the blast full in his cockpit. No chute marred the speckled sky as the plane plunged toward the ground.

We are not restarting this argument.

This nation should not be taken to be representative of my real-life views, nor should any of the nonsense I posted on here as a teenager.

Vulcan: Clearly, you already forgot about your cousin in Canada. So am I dumbass - now mind the gap in between us before I run you through. :ugeek:

I've got three big projects to do over the next week guys, so my arms will be full before I can get to this. I'm in the middle for a one-shot story however.

Everyone loves the Vulcan, just not quite as much as everyone loves the Lancaster.

It's a shame the Vulcan is getting retired at the end of the season.

Because it was really, really expensive and likely not very necessary, seeing as how Britain could count on the US bomber fleet in most situations that would require a nuclear-capable strategic bomber?
