1. just becuase a guy is new doesn't mean that he is fresh meat.
2. If your advance isn't meeting any resistance, your walking right into an enemy ambush. I put 2 infantry squads on the opposite side of the bridge I was defending, on my side was 4 more squads, a couple of tanks, and an 88. oh and I put 3 rows of sandbags and mines on it.
3. if you cant cross said bridge, dont wait on the oppposite side where the other guy can just pick your armor off one tank at a time like these idiots did.

I liked the BiA series too, it's got a great story and the basic gameplay is great, it's just...kind of a slog. I mean, it never gets much harder or changes as the game goes on.

[u]
- Notes on enlistment status - it goes without saying that the enlistment of a woman into an active combat role in
wartime is essentially without precedent in HM's armed forces. However, after the events of Operation GUILLOTINE,
it was the considered opinion of the Squadron Leader of No.319 Squadron, as well as Air Marshal Newall, that F/LT.
NOBLE's skills would be nearly invaluable to No.319 Squadron's future operations, which would require combat flight
and ground training as a result of that posting. As such, F/LT. NOBLE's combat status is not meant to serve as any
sort of precedent.
- Notes on promotion record - F/LT. NOBLE's oddly accelerated record of rank advancement in the Territorials and
WAAF, upon investigation, seems due in great part to her pre-existing flight training. It also seems, reviewing
testimonials from her colleagues and superiors from both organizations, that her competence and devotion to
her duties was nothing short of stellar, which, in such a relatively inactive and backwater organization (and
coupled with lackluster number s of active members of said organization), made a formidable impression on
many, leading to her appointment as one of Air Marshal Newall's chief aides. This auspicious appointment,
in addition to her key role onplanning the operations of No.319 Squadron, was responsible for her extraordinary
rise in rank over the period of only a year or so.

Good thing too, as the new ones were pretty underwhelming. The balkens wrote:Fucking battlefield....I want bad company 2 back......
Apparently, DICE have no interest in making more Bad Companies, sadly enough - I really liked Bad Company 2.

Blazing Angels was, in my opinion, absolutely terrible.
BA has the advantage, at least for me, of being couched in an absolutely unfair amount of nostalgia, seeing as how it was my first PS3 game that I unwrapped right after unwrapping the PS3 itself on Christmas morning 2006.
It's a good game, but not exactly world-shattering.
BA 2 is pretty much incontestably better.
