I suppose my first question is: what the hell does whether one is a man or a woman have to do with class? But also, that the hell does criticising rape have to do with class? How is criticising rape something that's a tool of the bourgeoisie?

It is a ploy to make women hate men & like the bourgeois.

How?

You keep spouting this collection of absurd pseudo-ideological bullshit stock phrases as if they mean something, but you've not actually explained how criticising patriarchy and rape culture is a foul bourgeois/class apologist plot, or how criticising rape and rape culture is going to make people more bourgeois-friendly.
Don't be deceived when our Revolution has finally been stamped out and they tell you things are better now even if there's no poverty to see, because the poverty's been hidden...even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which these new industries foist on you, and even if it seems to you that "you never had so much" - that is only the slogan of those who have much more than you.

No, it really isn't.

Except you've already been presented with examples showing how rape culture exists at an everyday level.

You also seem to be suggesting that feminist men and feminist women only have the capacity to focus on one pressing issue at once. That is bullshit.

Enough.

Did the case in Steubenville pass you by recently? The case where the girl was raped by two college footballers and various national news networks spent hours weeping over these poor boys' ruined lives because they got convicted?

It is not fictitious. It was just demonstrated on a national scale within the last fucking month.

He claims that:

1. Marquis De Sade's works are an appropriate guide to sexual conduct.

2. Legal definitions of rape are a bourgeois conspiracy.

He's not being sincere. Stop wasting your time arguing with him.
