I realized that Oulen is roughly the same size and at roughly the same latitude (albeit in the southern hemisphere) as the United States, so, when I drew up the nations, I used a map of the US turned upside down (with Florida in the northeast and Washington in the southwest) and labeled most of the major Native American tribes in or near their respective relative locations in Oulen. That way, it will make things easier when we go to develop the cultures of the tribes there because we can just base them off of the cultures of the RL tribes. Also, the continent was originally pretty much all green (grasslands and forests), but I added plains and mountains where they would be relevant (in other words, to make Oulen geographically more like the United States so the tribes' new locations would be even more similar to RL).
Eventually, I plan on re-naming all the tribes with more original Vapor-ish names; this is just a start. I have already given two of them new names. The nation based on the Choctaw will be called Hacha Hatak, which is Choctaw for "the river people," which is where the English name Choctaw comes from; likewise, the nation based on the Seminole will be called Yat'siminoli, which is Seminole for "free people," and which the Seminoles referred to themselves as at the time. I plan on naming the other nations similarly when possible or convenient; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
EDIT: Here's a map of the Oulish Nations with their new Vapor names:

Not really. The Fanaglians just showed up at the Amplector Conference (but have yet to speak to any named characters) and Queen Autumn is still awaiting your reply in your diplomatic opening.
