Vilitan and Vanorian clubs had met just four times in UICA competition prior to this season’s pair of trans-Atlantian knockout ties, but both Turoki Tide and Raynor City United have risen to every such challenge put before them. The two historic clubs will at last get the chance to duke it out head-to-head in Rumiatzi, with a world championship on the line. The Rockers are no stranger to such high stakes, as the only club ever to defend a UICA title, while Turoki Tide is the first club from Vilita to reach a modern Champions’ Cup final, with Yeaddin Owls’ back-to-back Champions League crowns largely forgotten outside the Cove.

Champions’ Cup 46: The number of teams allowed is determined according to association coëfficients, with the following distribution:

Associations ranked 1–3 (Valanora, Polar Islandstates, and Astograth) are allowed to enter four teams.
Associations ranked 4–6 (Jasĭyun, Valladares, and Aguazul) are allowed to enter three teams.
Associations ranked 7–28 (Osarius, Capitalizt SLANI, Vilita, Whirl Islands, The Pazhujeb Islands, Darmen, United Gordonopia, Turori, Miskatonic University, Earent, Unified Falcon, West Zirconia, Iturributa, Taeshan, Eastfield Lodge, Pasarga, The Babbage Islands, Ko-oren, LAPFL Federation, Ancharmunn, Licentiapacisterra, and Saugeais) are allowed to enter two teams.
Associations ranked 29 and below, and unranked associations, are allowed to enter one team.
Special considerations:
- Turoki Tide is assured a place as the title holder. If it fails to qualify for one of the V-League’s four places, it will receive an additional place.
- Élite League: Has five places. Jasĭyun must enter at least two teams and Capitalizt SLANI at least one.
- V-League: Has four places. Vilita and one other association must enter at least one team each.
- Califan Solidarity League: Has two places, which must be given to teams from two different associations.
- Commonwealth League: Has one place.
- TSP Premiership: Has one place.

Globe Cup 43: Every association is allowed to enter three teams. Multiassociational leagues (excluding the Commonwealth League and TSP Premiership) may enter six teams, of which no more than four may be from the same association.
Series B Champions’ Cup 43: Every association is allowed to enter four teams. Multiassociational leagues (excluding the Commonwealth League and TSP Premiership) may enter eight teams, of which no more than six may be from the same association.

The deadline for entry to Champions’ Cup 46 and Series B Champions’ Cup 43 is tentatively set for Sunday, 2013-02-17.

Valladar football league structure to change as new organization takes over.

METROPOLIS, VALLADARES (VP) - Today, at the VFA House in Cerro, some kilometers to the south of the City of Metropolis, the Valladar Football Association handed over the organization of the Valladar Super League, B-League, and Tercera Liga to a new affiliated entity, the Liga Federal de Valladares, who had been in charge of the Super League for the 2 most recent seasons.

With the Liga Federal takeover of the 3 highest football leagues in the Valladar football pyramid, it is now expected a radical overhauling of the whole pyramid, as the VFA also decided to give the 7 Valladar State Football Associations the right to have their respective leagues (amateur until the last season) recognized as part of the professional pyramid, hence allowing their clubs to be ultimately promoted to the top tier. "There were two factors which influenced our decision to grant professional status to the 7 Campeonatos Estatales: 1) we were greatly impressed by the relative high standard of play displayed in them, despite the Campeonatos Estatales were until last season just the sixth tier in our football pyramid, without any connection to the professional levels, and 2) there was a huge demand from clubs competing in those Campeonatos for VFA licenses, and lots of applications from amateur regional clubs to compete in the Liga Nacional (the fifth division) were also received during the last year, so the VFA decided to give them the chance to have their clubs competing for the right to climb the pyramid and ultimately gain promotion to the first division, with the unanimous approval of the 7 SFAs, of course," stated Marcus Trent, current VFA chairman.

This change will allow the Campeonatos Estatales to become the fifth tier of the Valladar football pyramid, "with a reformed 20-team Liga Nacional (organized by the VFA) to become the fourth division, which will replace the D4 Pro League, discontinued starting from this upcoming season," according to Mr. Trent. On the Liga Federal side, changes are also expected. "The Super Liga, B-League, and Tercera Liga will undergo a slight rebranding and will become Liga-1, Liga-2, and Liga-3, with the new Liga-3 being reduced to only 20 teams, like its Liga-1 and Liga-2 counterparts. This change will inevitably force the relegation of 20 teams from the third to the fourth division, or even the Campeonatos Estatales," according to Gustavo Landazábal, Liga Federal chairman. Despite the Liga-1 looking like a brand-new league at first sight, Mr. Landazábal stated that "every club will keep their Super League records" and "the Liga-1 is a continuation of the Valladar Super League, with the only change from it being its name."

Furthermore, both current and recently promoted Super Liga clubs will also be affected in some way by the Liga's takeover, as all the clubs currently in first, second, and third division of the league's pyramid will be subject to a thorough evaluation in which, different aspects of each club will be taken into account by the entity in order to determine the club's eligibility to compete in one of the "new" federal divisions or its demotion to a lower division. The definitive list of clubs that will compete next season in every division will be announced as soon as this evaluation is finished, which may take a couple of weeks.

What. A. Season. Inchalá It gets to lift the trophy after a very weird season, which they won thanks to new Polarian signing Samson Reinhardt. No, he didn't perform well, at all. Actually, they sacrificed him in a very cruel way to attract good luck, which apparently worked as they went on to defeat everyone in the Clausura and end up lifting the trophy, by thrashing everyone. Among their wins, nothing less than a 24-0 win against. mind you, Gualiche. A very weird season, O Lajau SC did... decently, bt they couldn't cope with the Shittin' Eagles attack, which tore them apart in both semifinals. acahocaf finally don't lift the trophy, but at least qualify for the Globe Cup, while Atit Laí joins the party. An incredibly interesting, and equally as weird, season for Charruterran football... which still sucks.

The biggest stadium in all Charruterra, which isn't much. The stadium is in a very poor state, and is surrounded with lots of tribes that live around it and call it sacred. To get in, you must defeat their leader in a fight one vs one, with him havign a sear and you being naked. There're no seats, and 60,000 is just the estimated capacity before collapsing. Still, at least this allows the stadium to be called a no-seater!

With the FPIFA of Polar Islandstates no longer engaged with the Copa Rushmori, the organisation and administration of the CdC has left the shores of Bleak Rock and made its nest in Franz Josef City for the considerably forseeable future. There were a neat twenty-four entries this year (more than a few Rushmori leagues neglected to specify their league champions signing up for the competition, as such they were excluded as per my warnings), meaning the format stays unchanged from last season.

Future bids for host stadia will be taken into consideration, though the default in case of no bids will always be The Barge in Bjarnarey, the floating stadium. A final reminder also that all Rushmori nations only will be able to submit their league champions only (or top ranked team in the event of multi-associational leagues) for entry into the next CdC, the submission period opened when Commerce Heights closed entries to the last UICA tournaments, and will close again when Commerce Heights closes entries to the next UICA tournaments. No invitations will be sent. You must indicate in your league summary that you wish your league champion to take part.

Please also note that I will be monitoring the UICA ranks used slightly, and setting a hard maximum rank next cycle of 85. Any team with a rank higher than that will be cut to 85, and the max rank for the scorinator will be 100. This is because seeing the same nations reach the final over and over and over isn't going to be fun for anybody.

And here we are for the fifth edition of the Heritage Cup, former Unzucneru Gold Cup, former Unzucneru Cup.

This time, the final will take place in Bangu, Barra e Janeiro. This edition marks the departure of a number of organizations - this being the last time teams from Saint-Anne and Jacob, The Saxonies, Saint Pauli, Barra e Janeiro, Midlothian Heart, Euskaldunek, Partick and Inverness Thistle, Tiki Lodge and Cloud Spires will participate. This edition also sees the abandonment of the champions-only format of Heritage Cup III (which is actually the fourth - long story), as countries like Dainer and Northern Sunrise Islands went back to sending their teams that didn't qualify to UICA tournaments.

The Fenbarric Shield, in which the previous season's League and Cup winners play each other in the opening game of the season. This will be a replay of last season's Fenton Cup final were MK City beat League winners Oldcastle Athletic 3-1.

The 4th Fenton Cup

Last year, MK City won their first silverware after surprisingly beating huge favourites Oldcastle Athletic in the final. All teams from Division 4 will start in the 1st Preliminary round, and all teams from Division 3 will enter in the 2nd Preliminary Round. After a 3rd Prelim Round in which Div 3 losers participate, the 1st Round will commence. All teams from Div 2 will enter in the 2nd Round, and all teams from Div 1 will enter in the 3rd Round.

Despite all the lower league teams having high hopes, only teams from Div 1 were represented in the quarter-finals, showing the gulf in class between the top tier and the rest. Selton pulled off a shock win on penalties over Oldcastle Athletic in the quarters, and holders MK City lost out in the first round to New Beetle. The final had the same participants as two seasons ago, when MK Killers met New Beetle. The result was also the same, as MK Killers ran out 2-0 winners to claim the famous trophy for the second time. They became the only team to have won the League and Cup twice.

The 4th Tri-Cup

A strange format, in which last year's winner (Zinkak United) is not allowed to take part. The remaining nine teams in Division 1 are split into three groups, and play a match against each other. The three group winners go into a final group, where the winner is crowned champion, and does not qualify for next season's tournament. The tournament is renowned for having unexpected results, and this was proven in the Group 3 playoff game between New Beetle and MK Killers, the Yarisian side (New Beetle) taking it 2-1 away and qualifying for the champions group. However, the results there were not unexpected, as giants Oldcastle Athletic ran out winners.

Another season full of twists and turns, but going into the final day, only two teams, Flippers and holders Oldcastle Athletic could win the title, Flippers a point ahead. Oldcastle could only draw away to the impressive newly-promoted Borderlands, whilst Flippers celebrated a tense 1-0 victory at home against New Beetle to win their first ever silverware in dramatic fashion.

Cygnus Cup XX

The landmark 20th Cygnus Cup sees the participation of 29 teams from 28 associations. Pentref-ar-y-Bae, the title holders, qualified as defending champions despite not qualifying through the Aelsh cup system. Ten teams will take part in the first qualifying round, while eleven teams are put through to the second qualifying round. The remaining eight teams, including holders Pentref-ar-y-Bae, are given a bye to the first round proper.

There were two bids to host the landmark final, one from Estadio Pomorum in Rofi, Aguazul (cap. 40,000); the other from The Barge in Bjarnarey, Polar Islandstates (cap. 32,340). After much controversy, as one of the bid requirements was a minimum capacity of 35,000, The Barge was selected on the proviso it laid on extra temporary seating.

The final of Cygnus Cup 20 will be held at The Barge, Bjarnarey (PIS), expected capacity 35,000.

Stirvik TU, being, well, champions, actually fell out of the Champions' Cup and into the Globe Cup, where they racked up a pair of victories over Fontvielle Impact that were really quite exciting and will likely serve as a badge of honor for the rest of the league to float on for some time, actual achievements notwithstanding. So hooray for that.

Leaderboard time? Leaderboard time.

Matchday One: Nithgard GU and Ungalb Devsgrybe

Both of these teams got to host newcomers to the top flight, and both had a very easy go, emerging 4-1 victors. Ungalb Parkatsee, who are somewhat of a defensive team, tried to park the bus (sorry, it might take us a while to get all of these irrelevancies out of our system) against somewhat-more-defensive Kaynd.

And failed. Nuyee Beal picked up where he left off with a hat trick, with Lerna Tyd providing Nithgard's other (technically second) goal. Parkatsee were limited to a goal in minute 57 from Margel Hath. Devsgrybe, for their part, had to be pretty much everybody's favorites against Brandith, who looked like fairly inept perntmakers after going 3-0 down to goals from Mulis Vonder, Stevin Hasper, and Tearim Hayz. Brandith's goal was admittedly deserved, on a blistering Broygen Hempner shot that Meltee Klume seemed to hurt himself trying to catch. But another Vonder goal would finish the rout for Devsgrybe.

Matchday Two: Ungalb Devsgrybe, outright

The third promoted club got their chance to be perntmakers, and for the first forty-five minutes, were doing so. Ronthand were outplayed at home, falling behind to Nithgard after goals from Tyd and Ruva Klyg. But then in the second half they pulled back into it with a couple of kids leading the way; youngsters Mayren Kling and Deasim Hone scored to tie it up. Ronthand had not really expected to be thrust back into the first division, and as Bloyben's only representative there now had to scramble to make ends meet narat-wise. (That's our currency.) So the investment in local talent isn't some grand philosophical statement but really an admission that they don't have many other options...worked though, at least for today.

Ungalb Devsgrybe took full advantage against a much stiffer opposition indeed; Ousteeble were stingy after conceding a Hayz goal, and dominated possession for the rest of the first half. So too in the second, when defender Peda Kayl scored on a counterattack, and at that point they itched for three points and a return to glory days. Those were not to be; as they pressed forward, a defensive lapse let Dorim Atik score the winning goal for Devsgrybe. That gave them the lead, and there they stayed for...

well...

most of the first half.

Matchday Sixteen: Perntav Marna TU

About those new teams...Oopsies.

Okay, Brandith could be genuine perntmakers; they were lifeless against the king's house. Kensee Drandel had a brilliant individual effort to dribble past Kor Meanlee and score for Perntav Marna, twenty-seven minutes into the game, while Maren Leal added a penalty kick in stoppage time of the first half after a foul on Dragel Hysinee's foul on Luse Muree.

But Parkatsee would upset Devsgrybe, who fall into second on two goals of difference as a result. Sinda Lulis, a rare (and rather attractive) female forward, scored first for the lucky visitors off a pass from Puneang Hath (Margel's wife, no nidj though). An incensed Devsgrybe got sloppy on defense, letting Lorint Murinth score on a header from distance soon after.

Devsgrybe pulled themselves together at that point, Hasper and Ile Nayn scoring, but never looked like they had their momentum together so much as they were just hoping the fans wouldn't boo them. By the eightieth minute, Parkatsee were venturing forward again, and Murinth wound up close enough to tap a Doyer Mondel pass in. 2-3 to the smaller Ungalb.

Perntav Marna extended their lead to the halfway point, and then...

Matchday Eighteen: Retatyn TU

I'd like to say that Ungalb Tratbongent were just another low side, poised for a big upset, but that wouldn't be doing them justice; the dockworkers are now in the Globe Cup positions after a surprisingly offensive showdown against Perntav Marna. The hosts took the lead through Randel Harsith, who's more or less their only outright forward, and Dijen Long came up with an insurance goal. Perntav Marna sluggishly came together, gradually picking up their pace and improving throughout the game, but honestly halfway through the season if you can't play that well from the outset you probably shouldn't be leading anyway. At any rate, Leal scored their first goal, at which point they promptly conceded to Harsith again before Tearim Long came up with a late consolation.

This would have meant that Ungalb Devsgrybe could take the lead, if they'd been able to score a single goal against Brandith, but they weren't, so they didn't. Instead, that honor fell to Retatyn TU, whose 3-2 victory over Brantslaybel didn't look much like Tratbongent's win. Retatyn began the day in high gear, looking brilliant throughout the first half when they had the ball but refusing to sit back and defend when they didn't. This allowed Merlee Helm to sneak through and give the visitors the lead, followed by a Savit Neals goal twenty minutes later.

After the half, an undaunted Retatyn, spurred on by even-less-daunted-fans, decided to buckle down and play defense for pride's sake. And what do you know, they scored on a counterattack, defender Prygel Ronts sneaking forward to score. Sure enough, the midfield got a little more confident, and Kayleat Moris was able to tie the game, inspiring the attack, and so on, with Dethis Kean finding the winner for Dyma Konga. They're now five goals ahead of Devsgrybe, with Perntav Marna a point back.

And then they held the lead a good long while...

Matchday Twenty-Eight: Stirvik TU

A day of goalscoring madness across the league, with only poor Tratbongent, at home against Rogglebo, unable to find the net. Actually, they're not that poor, they're actually still in the top half.

But no, the top of the table is a madhouse, with three teams on fifty-five points, two of them on fifty-six goals for, and two of them on thirty-seven goals conceded.

Firstly, Retatyn, who fell off the top spot after defeat to onetime leaders Perntav Marna. Playing at the home, the king's house got off to a solid start through Leal and Drandel, whereupon Dyma Konga got right back into things. Kean would put them on the board, and for the rest of the first half Moris and Shayv Allagondee controlled play from the midfield, forcing Buyint Helmee into a streak of impulsive saves and prompting one overly-bored announcer to ask wehether they'd clinked and were leading Retatyn onward to supernatural glory (they hadn't, and weren't).

When Perntav Marna ended the half with the lead still intact, it seemed like momentum would surely be on their side going into the second half. It wasn't, and Moris and Allagondee picked right back up where they'd left off until Allagondee finally equalized in minute fifty-eight. He seemed to strain himself with the effort, though, and despite protesting to manager Jenvee Maris that he could stay in the game, was lackluster for the final half-hour. With Dyma Konga exhausted, Perntav Marna were able to pick themselves back up, and Luse Muree scored the winning goal. Leal added another in stoppage time to try and shut up the rowdy visiting fans (didn't work). Perntav Marna remain fourth.

Longtime leaders Ungalb Devsgrybe would have needed to win by five or six to take top position outright, and this was not in the cards despite a goal-filled clash with, erm, penultimate Hulbindan, who we still don't know much about except their fans were drinking a lot of beer at the Kepav Pearkin, perhaps a bit too much for some of the home crowd's puritanical tastes. Oh well.

Goalkeeper Pesser Parkins is probably wishing nobody'd heard of him after Devsgrybe got out to a quick lead, goals from Vonder and Nayn making it 2-0 within the first twenty minutes. Like Retatyn, Hulbindan would get back into it, with Ros Hendlee scoring on a header in stoppage time of the first half. But after the half Devsgrybe were on form once again, Vonder recording another goal. They pressed for more, perhaps sniffing the chance to push for the top, but their defense suffered, and Belb Deakynd was only too happy to score again for Hulbindan. Devsgrybe were wary after that and the visitors might yet have caught them off-balance, save for a fortunate Atik insurance goal.

These were not the highest-scoring games of the day.

That honor went to our defending champions, contending with Attereg GU.

Attereg were still in decent contention for the last Globe Cup place, with the top four having opened some distance between themselves and the chasing pack. They also sit above neighbors Numa, which has become sort of something to brag about. And, when wunderprettygrownupnow Tash Mylee opened the scoring on the road on eight minutes, all was going according to plan.

A pair of Shear Duustel goals, one barely ten minutes later, and one four minutes after that, began to call the plan into question.

Attereg were hardly out of it, however, and their defense took control of the place. With Paron Morayn leading a series of short passes throughout the back, the next twenty minutes dragged on, completely belying the overall tone of the game. Finally, two minutes before the half, Morayn passed up to Kayz Vondas, who promptly scored. 2-2.

And then after the break, presumably spurred on by another wholly comprehensible Reaven Laynee metaphor involving vultures, snakes, and camels, Stirvik came out on the attack. Three minutes later, Tash Reaven had scored. Pyp Lunas would assist Baysin Heppel on the next goal, in minute sixty-five; six minutes later, Mylee's header pulled Attereg back into contention.

Eight minutes later, a long run from Dander Fels past Morayn and Vondas would set Lunas up for another goal. 5-3. They weren't done. Parva Long
scored in stoppage time to make it a 6-3 final score and cue a Laynee spiel about pigeons and pogo sticks. Please, no one give this woman an explanation of time dilation in the footballing sense or we'll never get out of the press conferences with our sanity intact.

Anyway, Stirvik are top now, three goals above Retatyn and one above Devsgrybe. Guess who everybody plays next?

Matchday Twenty-Nine: Retatyn TU

If your guesses involved Attereg GU having to face the attention of the country again, you're kind of right. Most of the attention was actually turned elsewhere. But we'll briefly delay that for purposes of suspense, so...to Attereg!

Meltee Rumes gave them the lead against Ungalb Devsgrybe, at which point Attereg lurched back into an awkward defense as if to say "we tried taking the lead last time and look how well that worked out." Sure enough, drained of their confidence, they easily conceded goals to Vonder and Nayn.

Devsgrybe acted like they just assumed Attereg would roll over and give up a bunch more goals, instead of taking some initiative, which was a bit stupid as after all goal differential is exactly what they need. Instead, they were dumbfounded as Huste Leal poached a goal for Attereg. Okay, Attereg were dumbfounded too.

But most eyes were on the showdown of the top two; Maris versus Laynee, enthusiasm versus incomprehensibility, attack versus neutrality, Retatyn versus Stirvik.

Dyma Konga pressed the attack in the first half, and Stirvik were content to let them, playing defense and wearing down the hosts until Duustel was able to break forward and score off a pass from Lunas. After the break, however, the fans roared Retatyn on all the harder, and were too pleased with themselves to notice that they were actually resting on the attack and settling for some deep-lying playmakership. Moris eventually made a brilliant chip to Allagondee, who struck forward and left Dormel Pint no chance. With the momentum on their side, Kean scored the winning goal.

Facing the press after the game, Moris angrily denied the lazy announcers' newfound rumors, in effect "blah blah blah, you think we're not good enough to do this the natural way," blah." A dispirited Laynee's commentary was more to the tune of "blah blah, hibernating bears, blah, cicadas, blah, five weeks left, blah, cuckoo clocks, blah."

I think she's got the "cuckoo" right...

Matchday Thirty: Ungalb Devsgrybe

Coming up, the answer, but first, to Stirvik, who you might think had to win to stay in the title race, but actually, couldn't have taken over the top spot even if they did win.

Which I guess tells you who Retatyn played. Hmm.

But no, seriously, Stirvik had the run of the place against sixteenth-placed Kolpuung GU. Goals from Duustel, Heppel, and Lyk saw them off to a comfortable lead; Ruthin Darnas would ruin the shutout, but that couldn't get Kolpuung very far.

Retatyn, however, had to journey to the Kepav Pearkin to take on Devsgrybe.

And...most of the action was actually compressed into the first half, at least goal-scoring wise. Vonder got Devsgrybe out into an early lead, but the fact that they scored again shortly after through Nayn was less inspiring that it might have been--they really seemed nervous and knew one wouldn't be enough. Dyma Konga took this to heart, striking back through Kean and Harbin Brath. Devsgrybe were hardly resigned to this, acting like they'd basically told us so, and sure enough, their midfield began to drive the action forward after that, culminating in a long Atik shot to close out the first half.

The second saw the hosts try to conserve their energy at first, which worked for a while, until Teaden Amsee fouled Moris. Jupis Mershel took the free kick, equalizing for Retatyn. But Devsgrybe refused to roll over, and a leaping Hayz header would restore their lead; they held out to emerge 4-3 victors. They now top the table, a point head of Stirvik and Retatyn both.

Okay, guess which city hosts two of the three leaders next week...?

Matchday Thirty-One: Stirvik TU

As for the city with just one game of relevance, that would be Retatyn. Dyma Konga were hardly undeterred by losing in Devsgrybe, it's a common enough ailment, and Brath scored twenty-five minutes into their game so all seemed well.

Twelve minutes later, they were faced with an equalizer from Meara Hassel. Of Munnerput.

(Not Nithgard, for whom Nuyee Beal plays, as was reported errantly last time around.) Munnerput, of attacking pride and overoptimistic fans, holding Retatyn to a draw! They gamely tried to defend the point, looked like fools, Retatyn should probably have scored on approximately fifteen different occasions, but luck was not going their way. Turvee Langer bounced in about fifteen different directions to keep Dyma Konga at bay.

So, attention turned back to Kolpuung. Once-proud Stroyf are struggling in the bottom half, and cursing the lazy narrator's refusal to transfer players or do anything really smacking of changing players around. Stirvik eased past them, with goals from Duustel and Rayna Puve in the first half.

Their crosstown rivals, on the other hand, were having a much better time of things...against Ungalb Devsgrybe.

Things didn't actually look that bad at first. Meabel Kernee gave Devsgrybe the lead, and they seemed more confident with that, until tall Doyer Marken equalized for Kolpuung. Then Darnas scored, and Devsgrybe were frustrated, trying to fall back on individual dribbles rather than risk passing. This didn't work, and Likkel Hyf (I should finish that six derbies thing just to be able to search for these unused names) was able to score another goal early in the second half. Vonder scored a consolation for Devsgrybe in stoppage time, and that seemed to rouse them; they briefly acted like they might get a third, but that didn't happen.

So now the top two have all scored 62 goals. 61 points for Stirvik, 59 for Retatyn and Ungalb Devsgrybe.

Matchday Thirty-Four

Stirvik and Devsgrybe won their next matches; Retatyn were defeated by Beal and Kaynd to fall off the pace. The next week, the tables turned; Retatyn won, the other two got upset. So a win lets the champions defend their title; so does a draw, unless the others win by at least four (Stirvik) or six (Devsgrybe). Perntav Marna and overachieving Ungalb Parkatsee currently occupy the remaining Globe Cup places, but most of the top half could catch them on points.

So, plenty to watch for, plus the relegation fight. Let's go!

1st minute: Okay, wasting no time is Dijen Long of Tratbongent, who must have thought "hey, I'm up stupidly far for the kickoff anyway, why not go all the way." They're playing Hulbindan. Hulbindan are last. Which might explain the "Tratbongent scoring" thing.
12th minute: Helm has scored for Brantslaybel, against Attereg GU. The latter are the top-half team with really no chance at the Globe Cup (well, maybe some of the others are mathematically out of it, don't remember how these tiebreakers work, but you know what I mean). Brantslaybel could conceivably go down if a couple results go against them so they'll be relieved at that.
15th minute: Defensive-minded Rogglebo have scored against Kolpuung, through Mastel Heas. After the Globe Cup run they've been struggling this season so this is a nice change of...hold on, goal in Devsgrybe! Vonder breaks through against sixteenth-place Ronthand. This ties Ungalb Devsgrybe for the lead, though they've still a ways to go to catch Stirvik on...hold on...
16th minute: Harsith gives Tratbongent another goal and...you're kidding me...off the kickoff Dandra Artin scores again for Rogglebo. This could be one of those days.
17th minute: You know on the last day I'm getting these times randomly, right? I don't ask for excitement.
18th minute: It just happens.
19th minute: You know who believes in getting excitement? Munnerput TU fans. You know what they got? A goal against Parkatsee, through Stavin Heas. This should tie the two of them in the Globe Cup standings, so that could be big.
21st minute: Nithgard score through Paygor Astint, an enormous bear of a center back charging forward against Stroyfungul, who could yet go down. That would be underwhelming.
22nd minute: I should clarify, he's an enormous center back. Not, like, a literal bear. Just...you can never be sure with Kaynd.
23rd minute: Oh boy, Retatyn fall off the pace! A gentle shot from Didjiv Montay of Atteregav Numa makes it 1-0. 24th minute: Numa won the thing a season before Stirvik and now will be lucky to sneak past their neighbors into the top half, that's this league for you.
25th minute: Okay, about Nithgard, they've just scored again, on a brilliant shot from Klyg after an amazing pass from Tyd. Which wouldn't be out of the place if Padig Mune had provided the pass, being Klyg's nidjlome and all. But no.
26th minute: Unless Kaynd have pulled a Stroyf and are keeping mum about it?
27th minute: Then again they're beating Stroyf, so probably not.
28th minute: Devsgrybe are taking this goal differential business seriously, a goal from Hasper making it 2-0 over Ronthand.
31st minute: Munnerput score again, through Beadin Hynz.
32nd minute: Well, Parkatsee were never meant to be that good.
33rd minute: Boom goes the dynamite! Brandith--Brandith, of perntmaker lack of fame, score first in their match against Stirvik, through Pobel Brang. This knocks Stirvik out of the lead and sends Devsgrybe top if all holds. Seconds later, Devsgrybe, as if to show off how they don't need the goal difference, rack up some more anyway through Hayz. Amazing.
37th minute: Rogglebo add their third, heh, through Yeambel Nayn. Rogglebo were able to beat a UICA top forty team 6-0 over two legs, I guess we're seeing that side of them now. Too late, though.
45+1st minute: Mithin Klyb scores again for Brantslaybel. They should be safe now. But it's probably too soon to say.
45+3rd minute: And Atik closes out the half with a fourth goal for Devsgrybe. Leadership, we has it.
46th minute: Are we all back? Good.
53rd minute: Uh-oh. Puve ties it for Stirvik, and that gives them the lead again. Devsgrybe have to be appreciating that four-goal half now, they need even more to win the title. Ronthand are probably going down, though...can they do it?
61st minute: Exactly what Devsgrybe didn't need. Hone scores for Ronthand to bring Devsgrybe's goal difference back down.
64th minute: Teav Sumebel adds another for Munnerput, off a pass from Hensin Klayb.
66th minute: Kayv Rashith goes right back ahead and scores for Devsgrybe for more goal difference. Respect.
67th minute: This is just getting silly now, very defensive Rogglebo rack up their fourth of the day through Artin. Seriously, what's next, even-more-defensive Ousteeble scoring, away at the King's House...um. Okay. Apparently that was what was next, Selber Rumee scoring. That'll teach me to talk.
77th minute: It's died down a bit. Ronthand are pulling themselves together as much as a team that's already given up by five and is almost certainly going down now can.
80th minute: Dyma Konga don't look anywhere close to getting into this thing, Sharnis Aylkee absolutely blanking them.
82nd minute: Are we going to have three four-goal wins? Sumebel gets another goal for Munnerput.
83rd minute: Okay, Stirvik have been ahead for half an hour, but they're putting their stamp on it now, Duustel scoring to give them a lead on points. That's probably it.
86th minute: Forget what I said about the four-goal wins, Margel Hath has scored for Parkatsee to put them on the board.
90th+ minute: And it's all over. Let's give Laynee the mike!

The Ibex Emporor's League has been humming along inside the little nation for centuries, ever since it was just a semi-autonomous region under the rule of Karditan. Football, a sport explicitly banned in the main of Karditan, was one of the earliest forms of protest practiced by "those damned Goats," as they are often referred to. Their recent independence and subsequent transportation to the Alliance of Dictators didn't disrupt the tradition at all, even without a larger power to thumb (err... hoof?) your nose at. Now, as their own fully independent state, they can finally enter international competitions in their own right! As you can see below, the champion's slot was close; but it had already been decided by the 26th Matchday, essentially. خنجر stood three points behind بطل, which meant the top spot was within reach--but بطل utterly owned the tiebreaker, goal difference, as خنجر would need a win by at least seven goals while بطل simultaneously lost. خنجر could only mount a 3-1 victory over تل on the final matchday, while بطل sealed the top spot with an exciting 3-3 draw with the previously-under-performing سياف. The rest of the placements were relatively cut-and-dry.

The Khytenna Football Federation

This session has seen the introduction of the a second tier to Khytenna football, seeing previous clubs that where not put into the original premier league going into a new professional league with the opportunity to play in the big leagues, the new league will be called, Division 1 and will see well know teams such as Tavistock AFC, Janholt Engineers and Lai han!

Football Council leader made this comment about the change:

"The one thing we need in our football is more competition, hense why we have joined with international torniments, now we will introduce a proper league system with regulation and promotion. the bottom three teams and top three will be the ones doing the swap.

Hopefully next session we shall have a 3rd tier as we are working with other clubs around the Federation, and mabye making the Island cup a national cup, and create a new Federal Premier trophy"

Session Summery:

After another amazing session, Garwood FC take there first ever premier league title, they left it to the last game of the session when after a 1-6 win over Themi loga, Blue Bay missed penalty by Yon Sung that would of won the league by a single point!! Garwood fan's had a pitch invasion on the small Themi loga pitch whilst lead goal scorer Thomas Klein wrapped himself in the Mantwenic Flag and was on Keeper Illian Connals shoulders. it was also a good year for Thomas Klein, as he was the first man in 6 years to match Firestone's goal scoring, meaning he shared the Golden boot, the first foreign player to do so.

on the other end of the table, after a session long fight, Heelasion FC, Wilham bay guls and the Poredak Polcats were the first teams in the new league structure to be regulated, Themi loga will be counting their blessings as they just missed out on the drop.

Bountiful and Iqaluit became the second and third clubs to hoist a second regional banner. They were joined by third season premiers Polgar City Monarchs and Ross Island's Scottville Scouts.

Iqaluit ran away with the northeast, eventually outstripping first season premiers Cookie Cove by 9 points. In contrast, the southeast was not decided until the fourteenth round as Scottville Scouts held on to their one-point lead over Blackburg Rangers.

Monarchs played like a club determined to prove that last season's crown was no fluke, heading the northwest table from the fourth round on, And Bountiful were Bountiful.

Several clubs were playing with nervous eyes on next season as the Celebration Cruises Championship takes shape. A system of promotion and relegation is almost certain, and with so many CCC clubs to the south and east drawing balanced boundaries for new regions will be a challenge.

Baffin Island club Iqaluit followed up their dominant performance in the regular season with three one-goal victories, two in extra time, to win their first premiership and second UICA tournament qualification. Their methodical performance from the first seed was a marked contrast to the third season premiers from Polgar City who had to win six successive ties to triumph.

But losing finalists South Partridge of New Deseret have received a major consolation prize. They will also advance to the UICA Champions' Cup. An organizational review by UICA authorities in Aeropag has confirmed that the Premiership qualifies for additional slots in the UICA competitions on a basis nearer that of other long-established multi-associational leagues. The additional upside is the qualification of six clubs to the Globe Cup instead of three, welcome news indeed to all four quarterfinal losers. The new formula combined with the existing system of cup byes will assure every regional banner winner of UICA qualification. Also, the Celebration Cruises Championship sees their qualification double to eight clubs for the Series B Champions' Cup.

For the avoidance of doubt, The Babbage Islands will not be entering this UICA cycle. This means that the player's two primary associations (and a load of others!) are both in this league, impacting UICA qualifications.

Championship for international association football

Building on the success of the Pathfinder Technologies TSP Premiership, a second-level multinational league system has been organised incorporating a number of associations participating for the first time. The Celebration Cruises Championship has 64 teams from 27 national associations, bringing the full system up to 96 teams from 29 lands.

The championship parallels the structure of its parent, with eight-team sections playing a double round-robin regular season followed by a knockout cup lasting seven rounds. But the championship knockout involves only the top two teams in each section and uses two-legged ties at each level save the final.

The original club contracts in the TSP Premiership are for five seasons. At the end of that time some clubs will be shifted between that league and this one using a scheme not yet fully worked out. But in anticipation of restructuring after the TSP Premiership's fifth season, the Championship added an eighth section with no reference whatsoever to geography.

Championship organizers are delighted at the success of the league in its first two seasons. Two section champions (Malaniuk Dutchmen and Oxbridge) repeated, a first-to-worst story played out in Section 4, eight new clubs attracted followings in Section 8, and six of eight section titles were decided by three points or less.

The league also celebrated the international success of Oxbridge in the UICA Series B Champion's Cup. The SarahRed-n-BarryBlue club advanced to the semifinals of that long-running tournament before falling, an encouragement to all who seek to develop regional football.

Although boundaries remain to be drawn and sections will be realigned, Championship clubs are encouraged by the receptiveness of the football world to a proposed Premiership expansion to 40 teams that will expand promotion opportunities when the first contracts expire. The CCC itself could proceed from there in three main ways: Seven sections of eight, eight sections of seven, or with recruitment eight sections of eight.

Inter Meganton from Stars and Garters cared little for regular season standings and a first-match home loss in the cup stage, rebounding to post six straight wins and claim the championship with a one-nil win over Benko Gamblers. The Gamblers carried the hopes of Checkmate with them for a national repeat after torching last year's champs Malaniuk Dutchmen for six goals in the semifinals.

These three clubs will represent the league and their homelands in the Series B Champions' Cup, together with semifinalists Athas from Happy Happy Joy Joy and the four quarterfinal losers Sunbury, Forest Nymphs 92, Argos 1093, and Maungakiekie. Each hopes to do what Oxbridge almost did there.
