Actually, since this is about cars using biofuel, I'd use Environmental, Automobile Manufacturing.

Perhaps, but biofuel can be used in more that automobiles, and you know THAT argument will come up.

True, but what we have of a proposal so far talks about cars.

Oh, I'm happy with my potted plant. So far it has taken over both windows of my office and presumably eaten one of my aides.

Lawn jokes aside, are we ever going to see an actual proposal on this, or are we to content ourselves with the vague blogposal we currently see?

Well, technically it's not a lawn so much as it's a piece of astroturf I have on the deck of my airship.

Biofuels suck. They need arable land to grow, which means they compete with food production and forests need to be cleared for more land. Anyway, to sum it up:

http://environment.nationalgeographic.c ... l-profile/

"On the face of it, biofuels look like a great solution. Cars are a major source of atmospheric carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas that causes global warming. But since plants absorb carbon dioxide as they grow, crops grown for biofuels should suck up about as much carbon dioxide as comes out of the tailpipes of cars that burn these fuels. And unlike underground oil reserves, biofuels are a renewable resource since we can always grow more crops to turn into fuel.

Unfortunately, it's not so simple. The process of growing the crops, making fertilizers and pesticides, and processing the plants into fuel consumes a lot of energy. It's so much energy that there is debate about whether ethanol from corn actually provides more energy than is required to grow and process it. Also, because much of the energy used in production comes from coal and natural gas, biofuels don't replace as much oil as they use."

A) This isn't a chat room. It's a resolution discussion forum.
B) You seem to be taking this in-character stuff rather personally.
C) Forum rules limit participants to those over the age of 13. How old are you?

Not sure. The janitor hasn't braved the area anywhere near my office since my aide was lost (after a blood-curling scream) when she was watering my potted plant. We now use a hose on a telescopic arm to water it, just in case.

Only if their co-authoring. Most feedback on a debate thread is usually negative and specifically what is wrong with it. It's up to you how you amend what you propose faced with what you have been.

What I would suggest worth remembering is this, no one on this forum seems of ill intent, even those who's character might come across otherwise, they're all helping in their own little way, but it's what you make of it, they won't write your draft for you, it wouldn't be yours if they did would it? ;)
