Fiero Urban Cycle: the perfect complement to urban mobility.

Fiero has come up with an innovative two-wheeler which adds a new and convenient layer to personal mobility, particularly in urban areas. The new Fiero Urban Cycle is a compact bicycle fitted with an electric motor that tops up the rider’s muscle power with an extra dose of torque. And that means the rider can get to other parts of town even more quickly and effortlessly – and without breaking into a sweat. The Fiero Urban Cycle can be folded up almost in the blink of an eye and, handily, there is room for two of them in the boot of the Fiero eDrive. The Fiero Urban Cycle is a thoroughly high-tech form of personal transport. The Fiero eDrive Coupe’s electric engine generates an output of 170 hp at 250 lb-ft of torque by transferring anonset of power via a fixed ratio transmision to the rear wheels. The e-motor gathers its energy from powerful lithium-ion batteries, which are smoothly integrated into the vehicle’s under body. Three energy modes allow the driver to choose from maximum ride comfort, extended range and maximum range, again customizing the driving experience.

When the driver eases off the pedal, the electric motor's zero torque control keeps the drive train disconnected as long as the pedal is in this position. The vehicle now coasts without consuming power, driven by its own kinetic energy.

The Fiero Town Car has a sleek body. The wheels are free-standing, their surrounding protective plates feature blinking strips of LED lights. On board there is room for two people, their position slightly staggered and at a sporty, low level.
