Shadowbourne's pulled out yet another win in a 4 -1 pitcher's duel against the Free Swiss States. Shadowbourne's stars struggled against their opponents' impressive pitching, but for the bench was a key factor in their victory. From the first pitch, Manager RasmusRamadan was very aggressive, swiping bases and calling hit-and-runs. The new strategy worked extremely well, as Shadowbourne's fearless running put a massive amount of pressure of the FSS defense, who had a whopping 4 errors on the day. Starter Zola Charifi was superd, going for 8.1 innings and allowing a single run in the fourth inning. Bournean Manager Rasmus Ramadan was once again thrilled with his team's performance, but stressed that the tournament was from from over, saying, "If everything goes as planned, we'll be playing well into December." The team takes the field once again tonight against Maklhoi Vai The game is a must win for Shadowbourne; if they win, they will advance to the play-offs, but if they lose, they will be headed home due to their H2H record. Srdjan Szili will start on the mound for Shadowbourne. The game will be televised live on SNSN, and will be available for streaming on snsn.sdb and on our mobile app.
