Does The Southern Arabian Republic buy slaves to free them?

This is just, like someone aforementioned, promoting those who are enslaving people. We would never buy them also as it is not our matter to do such a thing.

No, we do have our naval patrol routes near slave trading ports and if we 'accidentally' run into a slave ship as they enter international jurisdiction we will liberate the slaves and arrest the crew.
And for the record all shipping from these ports is considered to be suspect, however if we find no slaves the ship can go on it's way.
It is cheaper this way and we do not support the economies of slave trading states.

OOC: Undercover operatives will use any means necessary to free slaves including scamming slave traders with forged currency and hacked credit accounts that will bounce mysteriously (The authorities are anonymously tipped off about the fraudulent account by one of our agents posing as a public spirited individual to reset the account to its proper and very small balance) in a couple of days after the transaction has been finalized. IC we will deny this and we have not said this IC.

No. We have a very cold foreign policy to nations who do so because Rivadis itself practices slavery.

Quite the opposite in fact.

While slavery is illegal within the State, quite a few of our powerful corporations participate in the slave trade outside of our borders. There are no repercussions.

If a man in another country views a person as livestock, only a fool would miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on the new "livestock" industry.

We do not buy slaves to free them from foreign nations unless requested to do so from the international community, but if any slave carriers and owners enter Huskari Territory they will be seized, the slaves freed, and the slavers subjected to punishments based on the severity of the crime.

Buy slaves to free them? We would never negotiate with slavers, we rather hunt down the slaver and arrest him/her. Slavery is usually punished either by life in prison, or death. Tax money going to both freeing the slave, and capturing the slaver.

By what is said in the Namorese Constitution, no slave in Namor shall be bought or sold. That being said, our government never buys slaves to free them, but if there is ever a case of slavery in Namor (which is very rare), the government calls on the police to break in the slaver's house, and place him under arrest.

Bah, freeing slaves? Our people have never heard of such nonsense. We buy slaves at regular intervals, and are happy to support such. Those seen protesting slavery are shot in public.

Hah. No. That would be a waste of money, which is much more important than petty morality.
We buy and keep them, if we buy them at all. We don't really want them though. Poor workers are cheaper and easier to 'lose'.

No, while we support the freedom of slaves, our shareholders would be very angry if we used funds on a non-profit generating venture. Why, the entire board would probably be fired!

Slavery is forbidden in North Deigo. Sometimes slave dealers come into the nation with slaves. Once inside North Deigo, the Continental Army arrests the dealers and frees the slaves. If anybody is caught with slaves or selling them inside North Deigo limits, its 50 years to life in prison.

No, Viritica doesn't purchase slaves as all. Purchasing slaves merely to free them would be a waste of our money and would benefit the slavers in the end.

The Zeonic State's is known as a Slaving capital thanks to the restrictions of the act of owning a human being being non existant within the country for the sake of importing slaves.

So no; No one with the resources to purchase such luxuries would buy them merely to release them.

They are either in service to the State in public works, Owned people with the resources to abtain such things or sold to Other People in the Slave Market.

It's all very simple.

Slavery is just like Other service offered by the Zeonic State's to Foreigners.

In the TBRE, we use a variety of methods to free slaves par our obligations as international citizens and members of the ICPPO and IUEF, buying slaves is generally not one of the preferred ones.

Yes, we do buy Slaves. We buy Reptillian non-Human slaves in order to free them, and let them reside in Ruskarkand usually, or give them the option of settling elsewhere in their new life of Freedom.

Yes, we also buy Human slaves. They typically become indentured servants, or stay as slaves to those who buy them.
