What part of this screams historical accuracy to you? In this history, my empire ruled Anatolia to Libya, divided, Iran is Zoroastrian, as are a lot of places, and in general, everything is different. 8)

You could make an Outremer Christian state. I was tempted to do that.

Yeah, you could go there. It might lead to war, but what's a RP without a little bloodshed?

Well, you could expand eastward. Plus, wouldn't it be beneficial to have another nearby Christian state? From what I've seen, there's almost no one else in the Balkan region for possible alliances/trade or rivalry. Could make the game more interesting in that region.

Very well,

NS Nation Name (I know, there's no point, but still): The Union of Imperial Macedon
RP Nation: Kingdom of Macedonia
Leader: Theodosius II
Religion: Greek Orthodox Christianity (popular) Roman Catholicism (State Religion)
Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
Number from of provinces from 1-20 and location (only if you're not on the map yet): 20 Provinces surrounding Thessalonica
Population: 890,000
Army size (should never exceed 10% of population during peacetime): 150,000
Military Speciality: Strong foot Archers, Strong Heavy Cavalry, good heavy infantry.
Military Weakness: Mediocre light Cavalry, not as technologically proficient.
Unique Units (Maximum 3):
1:Vardariotai,The Vardariotai are drawn mainly from the Magyars that settled in the Vardar Valley in Macedonia, and their descendants. Disciplined and highly trained, the Vardariotai are elite horse archers. They wear light mail to light brigandine armour and fire a composite bow from horseback. Able to relentlessly pepper their enemies with arrows and use their mobility to stay out of trouble.

2:Kataphractoi, The Kataphractoi trace their origins back to Roman times and are normally recruited from amongst the middle classes, providing the Macedonian army with a force of well trained and well disciplined cavalry units. Well protected and armed with a lance and a mace and although somewhat outdated by modern heavy cavalry, they still make for formidable fighters on the battlefield.

3: Macedonian Guard Archers, Elite archers financed by the King of Macedonia himself.

Brief History since 298 BC (ONLY required for the 300 BC RP Veterans): A Greek Kingdom on the edge of the Aegean sea, the newly crowned King of Macedon, Theodosius II, plans to replicate the glory of the ancient Macedonian King, Alexander the Great.

You cannot have half your pop in the military. You literally cannot. It's impossible. Active duty or not.

300,000 is almost 400,000, which is half of 800,000.

What my current number is showing (150,000) is maximum size for my military, it will be much smaller otherwise, like 10,000. Is that alright?

NS Nation Name (I know, there's no point, but still): FORMER SOVIET SOCIALISTS
RP Nation: Kingdom of Tusajleir
Leader: Sergung of Tusajleir
Religion: Pagan
Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
Number from of provinces from 1-20 and location (only if you're not on the map yet):http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2mnrvid&s=6
OOC: If someone would be kind enough to add me on the map. I have 20 provinces, all in green. The purple dot is my capital. It's by Crimea.
Population: 300,000
Army size (should never exceed 10% of population during peacetime): 23,000
3000 horse archers
8000 throwing axemen
4000 light cav
6000 militia
2000 slaves
50 longboats
~100 various siege weapons
Military Speciality: maneuverability
Military Weakness: army is made up of mostly untrained and undisciplined militia, leather armour and chainmail is mostly used, weak navy
Unique Units (Maximum 3):
Throwing axemen
Image

Axemen make up a significant portion of Tusajleir's army. They are especially deadly when lined up in formation. They, like their name implies, throw their axes. They have one battle axe, which they weild with two hands, and they have a couple of smaller axes, in which they throw.
kaleic horse archers
Image

As a staple of any nomadic nation, these horse archers are the embodiment of Tusajleir. They are the most respected in the tribe, and most feared in central asia. Coupled with The Lehta, they are most troublesome for the unprepared tribes of the steppes. They typically circle around the enemy and fire from all sides.
lehta light cavalry
Image

They are bred specifically for traveling vast distances and raiding the many villages of the Asian steppes. They were light armour as there was no need when fighting the small tribes of the steppes. They wield a scimitar-type sword, indicting this fighting force has been in contact, or rather conflict, with Arabic tribes.
Brief History since 298 BC (ONLY required for the 300 BC RP Veterans):

NS Nation Name (I know, there's no point, but still): Shnercropolis
RP Nation: Honnendor
Leader: King Nawrwerd McGuntry IV
Religion: it really depends on what Heraldom. Most of the west and central Heraldoms are still pagans, while the eastern Heraldoms have a sizable Catholic population.
Government Type: classic feudalism, with the king controlling the army and the high houses controlling everything else.
Number from of provinces from 1-20 and location (only if you're not on the map yet): 20 provinces, in as much of Northern Ireland as I can get.
Population: 275,000
Army size (should never exceed 10% of population during peacetime): 5,000 (not including individual noble armies)
1,000 curdlers
1,000 knights
2,000 generic soldiers
1,000 pikeman/wall guards
Military Speciality: very well-made forts and defenses.
Military Weakness: no navy
Unique Units (Maximum 3):
Curdlers
Named for their blood-curdling battle cries and ferocity, these are quick and agile units. They wear toughened leather armor with some chainmail and carry twin dirks. They are exceptionally good at ambushes and guerilla-style warfare.
Ballstae
A Roman ballista design, oftentimes mounted on walls.
