I've just sent TG's to the nations who still didn't posted their entries, even those who didn't need to, to end up the fastest as possible with the contest.

OOC: Sorry. NaNoWriMo happened.

Kijit Ethana took the stage under the cheers of the Rejistanian fans. The Xentiran singer was wearing colorful traditional clothes. He carried a guitar and started playing accompanied by music from the Asankisim who also entered the stage at the same time but since everybody oggled Kijit (well, this writer did), it was not as noticable.

The handsome Inkatilian (we have established that I am a biased writer, so we can just run with it) started singing with his amazing and very emotional voice.

Il'la'lanja'hadada ,xe'nuvan, jilih.
Il'la'lanja'hadada ,xe'netux, jilih.
Il'lanja'mesu'ta ,xe'ki ,xe'vana'ta 'mesu ,il'sil, het, sejil, het.

Xe'la'lanja'hadada ,il'mulak, jilih.
Il'mulak al alnany ,xe'ma, jilih.
Xe'oki'mesu'ta ,il'sil enju'het'il tyan'jet, het.

(You maybe thought that I am sad
You maybe thought that I gave up
You maybe do not see that I don't want to see that you cry.

I maybe thought that you expect.
You expect much more than I can deliver.
I surely did not see that you cried in your place in the evening.)

Then the chorus started:

Mi'halen'ta. Mi'oki'aru nilha.
Mi'halen'ta. Xe'vasina il kimda.
Il'asavleji'ta, xe'ma 'ranhi, jilih. Hakim mi'aru'ta.

(It does not matter. It surely was nothing/didn't happen.
It does not matter. I love you still.
You don't believe that I can forget it that nothing happened.)

The second stanza was normally in Rejistanian as well, but this time, Kijit sang it in English as a gesture towards the foreign audience.

Kiu you were weak, we all are that some days.
So it occurred, but it does not mean disgrace.
I'm now aware that you still love me like the way that I love you.

Regret occurs, and I'm sure I will forgive.
Because you know: I need you for me to live.
I just want to be on every day from now with you.

The chorus was repeated again and brought hysteric teenie girls like me close to swooning. After an instrumental part, he sung again.

Mi'halen'ta. Mi'oki'aru nilha.
Mi'halen'ta. Xe'vasina il kimda.
Il'asavleji'ta, xe'ma 'ranhi, jilih. Hakim mi'aru'ta.

(It does not matter. It surely was nothing/didn't happen.
It does not matter. I love you still.
You don't believe that I can forget it that nothing happened.)

Mecian WorldVision 12 Broadcast

Kyuo: And that was the Rejistanian song, Mi'halen'ta. Quite a touching song, if you ask me.

Jeremy: Although it lacks the extravagant visual performances, the feeling of this song makes this performance worthwhile.

Kyuo: At least the effort was made to sing some verses into English, otherwise I wouldn't know what the heck they were singing about. Next is Jindalea's entry, entitled 'We Are One'. The song might be related to patriotism, or just motivation, in which the latter is overly used in WorldVision.

People's Republic of Jindalea

WE ARE ONE

Music: Han Ok Ha & Katarena Manh-zhi
Lyrics: Katarena Manh-zhi

Performing Artist: Katarena Manh-zhi

Song length: 3:41

GENRE: Power Ballad

======================================================

Katarena will be wearing a long, elegant white dress.

When the Jindalean entry is announced by the hosts, the crowd gives a warm applause to the first Jindalean entry.

First verse:

When I was a child
I used to play with all my friends
Those were the times
That brutally came to an end

I was alone
I've spent years on my own
Our nation suffering
For all those years

chorus:

I know
We are One
For many years
We fought a war
That was considered to have gone too far

We are one
without a wall
Separating us
inprisoning us
Oohhh We are one

(Then suddenly all the lights go on, and reveal a choir standing behind Katarena, and they start singing...)

*We are one ohh we are one
*The war had gone too far
*We are one ohh we are one
*Jindalea is ONE!!!

(Then all the lights turn blue and the image on the screen is a white dove flying on the violin intermezzo. The audience starts clapping)

Bridge:

We were alone
We've spent years on our own
Our Nation suffering
For all those years

Chorus:

I know
*I know
We are one
*We are one
We fought a war
*A terrible war
That was considered to have gone too far
*Gone much too far

We are one
*Jindalea
Without a wall
*North and South
Separating us
*Separated
inprisoning us
* in two nations
Ohhh we are one
* Jindalea is ONE!

(everyone together)

JINDALEA IS ONE
WE ARE ONE!!!

(The song ends with a huge climax and the audience gives a standing ovation to this emotionally performed song.)

The Jindalean Government hopes you've enjoyed our little message to the world and hopes for your support!

Mecian WorldVision 12 Broadcast

Jeremy: The first Jindalean entry, 'We Are One', was actually a message from its government? That's one way of putting it, WorldVision attracts quite an audience.

Kyuo: You'd think the Jindalean Government could put across its message in a more popular media, not just WorldVision. Anyhow, the choir was great, emphasis on choir. With Katarena alone, there was something just missing. The choir made the song.

Jeremy: Here comes the entry from Taeshan, with a title named Blue December.

But Mama Thumb and the Four Fingers beat them to the stage.

Deep Guitar Riffs, Twangy Bass, and some hoppin' Drumbeats.

Blue December i remeber you.
Blue December i remember you.
When i was lost, as was all,
you found me and now im not lost at all.

I was in a deep pit,
you brought me back to life,
ill always love you, ill always care,
because your mine, and i remember.

Our paths were corssed,
time was ours,
we lived forever together,
and we shall live forever apart.

Blue December i love you.
Blue December your mine.
Blue December your gone,
and i shall ever be alone.

Music fades and the spotlight sets on the guitar for the sad final stanza.

Blue December you have died.
Blue December you have cried.
Blue December i killed you.
Blue December i love you.

Kyuo: Had me in tears, for most of the song. For a band named 'Mama Thumb and the Four Fingers', this is quite different.

Jeremy: Three more entries to go, please let them be good.

Kyuo: The more you talk about the Taeshan entry, the more comparison it is to ours. I'll ask you, Jeremy. Which is deeper?

Jeremy: Ask me that, I'll give a biased answer, ours.

Perhaps they are, but come on! It's been two months. Two months! We should definitely set some sort of time limit, even if it's just a provisional one.

When will it be offifcial? And if no, then what. Are you going to let this drag on for a whole year? It doesn't seem like we're going to get any more IC posts until the voting starts, so let's start the voting already.

(OOC: Sorry. I've had the group's appearance and 'sound' worked out since before I named them as our entrants, and wrote the first verse of their song just after that announcement, but somehow -- despite sitting down to do so several times, most recently yesterday evening, and feeling that I "should" be able to manage it -- I just haven't been able to finish this entry. Maybe it's the shortage of daylight here at this time of year... Count me out, after all, now and in any further contests until the days have reached a reasonable length again in the Spring...
EDIT: on the IC level, please assume that I didn't even enter this time around, because the Bears wouldn't have entered unless they did have a song ready...)
