International Tennis Association Tournament Series

Postby Bergnovinaia » Wed Jun 23, 2010 5:39 pm

OOC: If you aren't a member of the ITA but wish to join so you can participate in these tournaments, please apply here: http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=50253

Our Logo

Dear players of the International Tennis Association,

It's that exciting time... yes, the ITA is for the first time hosting four tournaments in which you can participate. Based on your surface preferences, you can choose to play at four different sites; in Bergnovinaia on clay, in Delaclava on a carpet surface, in Tyrinn on hard courts, and in Schiavonia on grass. After the tournaments have come to a close, points will be assesed to players based on their performace at the tournaments they entered. Each tournament will take up to 32 entrants in singles and doubles and players will be admitted on a first-come first-served basis (unless specified otherwise by the host).

Yours truly,

Louis Knoff
Member of the ITA Committee and Bergnovinaian Tennis Association

OOC: Scorination and whatnot is explained in the ITA sign up thread. It's hihgly recommend that you sign up your player for the surface they prefer. All RPing will likely occur in this thread along with scorination and signing players up. To sign up, please post the full name of your player(s) and their points, surface preference, and national acronym, which can again be found in the ITA sign up thread.

OOC:

To sign up, please post the full name of your player(s) and their points, surface preference, and national acronym, which can again be found in the ITA sign up thread.

It will save me a lot of grieft... you can just copy it out of the list of players in the sign up thread.

If you want me to change them, just say something in the next day or so... otherwise, I'll enter them as they are.

Sorry... that's not possible. Each player may choose 1 tournament to play in and it should be based on their surface preference (either grass, clay, hard, or none (in which case they will play on carpet)). Please tell me what your surface preferences are for each player and then I'll edit their entry and submit your players for you.

OOC: Your entry has been updated. On the points note, I don't think so because at the first tournament everyone is going to start with 0 points to avoid monopolies, I think...

OOC: I have updated the entires so everybody with surface preferences is now in the tournament that fitst thos surface preferences... I would recommend looking through all of the tournaments to see if I made a mistake or if you want to switch around players for some reason.
