In the KPB era, Audio and Dorian & Sonya The Sylvanaes Queendom appear to share the record for lowest sequential rank from a winner with 39th. I don't believe anyone's kept a record of the winner with the fewest KPB points in the KPB era.

In the early editions (WC1 aside) ranks were calculated based on finish in the previous cup – the lowest ranked winner was, afaik, WC4's Dennisov.

Rankings only began with WC3, I believe - in both WC1 & 2, the first 32 nations to sign up were the entire field, and this was done entirely on a first-come, first-served basis (except for the host).

Well, IIRC, I remember visiting a site that was incredibly old but featured the post-WC1 rankings. Maybe they were Post WC2? I think it would be worth finding again. But I was about to finish elementary school back then, so feel free to ignore me. :P

Nevermind that last bit, I was actually starting Primary School, hich according to Wikipedia is Elementary School, which isn't what I meant, which was kindergarten... man, foreign education is confusing. I still don't know what college is.

On a more related note, if we had one more Atlantian in the World Cup, exactly half of the participating teams would be from AO.

In total there are 15 from AO, 9 from Rushmore, 3 from Esportiva and 5 from other regions. I think we (AO) might be starting to take this a little too far. :P

Well, the site did seem incredibly old, and I remember Crosshill being the best ranked team, but the last bit is me trying to recall. But those ranks weren't used anyways, right?
