Good evening this is Golden Boot with Anthony Simmons on SBC's Coverage of day 2 of the Equestrian Cup.

Shrillland's first match day was pretty intense ending in a 2-2 tie with Conclespia. Rapid Star was able to stop 3 goals in the first half and one in the second. Ryan Jackson and David Hughes were the Scorers for Conclespia, and our own Sand Dune scored both Shrill Goals. Shrillland is now ranked 4th on the list with one point, and will be going up against the Equestrian States here in Everfree later Today after their impressive 4-0 victory against Krumbia. There will be no changes in the line-up today, and we'll see you with full Cup Coverage on SBC1 and SBC2 throughout the day.

Good evening Legokiller this is Rubyshine here with a special guest, President Aqua Crystal on LKNSN reporting in for the Equestrian Cup.

Legokiller's team, the Dragon slayers in a challenging game between Kerdilia team ended with Legokillerans scoring first victory ranking second place in Group A laber for first day. Because of this first won for our team, many fans celebrated throwing a party during second day when Dragon Slayers weren't schedule in any matches during second day. Not much details or roster about Kerdilia so there isn't much to report, however many fans from our Home Island nation waits for the next upcoming match between the Legokilleran Dragon Slayers VS Yesopalitha Flames Equestria Cup team at the Maple Bowl in Trottawa.

The Yesopalithan Sports Network

Two games, two wins by the reserve squad at the Equestria Cup. A 3-1 win over Yellowapple and a 3-0 dismantling of Kerdilla have put the Flames as the class of the tournament so far. Death has been unstoppable, scoring four goals, and the defense has been stout. If it wasn't for a lucky bounce, the Flames would've shut out the YellowApplans as well.

Up next for this promising squad is Legokiller. Is it possible for the Flames to win this cup? Stay tuned...

MANECHESTER - With two games played thus far, the Equestrian States currently holds the lead in the highly-competitive Group B. Although the team was expected to qualify for the quarterfinals, nopony expected them to hold such a commanding lead after just two days. Yesterday's match only served to expand these expectations for the team.

The game against Krumbia began very well for the Equestrian States. Fire Dash was able to score within minutes of kickoff, giving the Equestrians an early one-goal lead. Krumbian strikers Donovan and Shelton were unable to secure much of a hoofhold in the Equestrian defense, and often were forced to play a more reserve role for their own crumbling defenders. Nopony had expected such a poor showing from the Krumbian squad, but by the end of the half they were trailing 3-0. Only once before had the Equestrians led by so much early in the match. Goals by First Dawn and Starlight Sparkle within the final three minutes of the half sent the Krumbians sulking into their locker room.

Of course, the home field advantage given by the Equestrian States was certainly felt. Pony fans of the Equestrians made their presence known throughout the game, rattling the stands with their hooves and shaking the roof of the Ponylands Dome with their cheers. In such an atmosphere, it can be hard to concentrate on anything.

This was evident in the mistakes of the Krumbian goalkeeper, Alan Flynn. In the fiftieth minute of the match, Lunar Dawn broke by a trio of defenders and galloped towards the goal. The incredible noise of the crowd combined with the moves of Dawn to create confusion, allowing for the Equestrian to fake out the keeper and put the Republic up 4-0.

Following this goal, Head Coach Twilight Striker made several substitutions to keep her starters healthy. The substitutes weren't able to score, but neither did the Krumbian squad. When the whistle blew to end the slaughter, the scoreboard read Equestrian States 4, Krumbia 0. A blow-out in almost any definition of the word.

Next up for the Equestrians is Shrillland. The team travelled overnight by train to Manehattan, and was seen practicing at Derby Field earlier today. Fans were arriving before dawn and the stadium is expected to be packed full of ponies for the match.

Hobbiest National Sports Transmission February 20th 20:45

" News everyone! Our men and women at the Equestria Cup have had a decisive victory! " Rick Bawns opened up enthusiastically.
" It was a long and difficult game, but the new lineup did not disappoint. We're looking forward to your continued success in the games." Tim Julip said.
" Also, as a bit of a reward, we have some fan mail that the corporate sponsors have approved to be aired, from Sally Langton to High Kick, our newest Forward."
Ms. High Kick,
I like to play this game with my friends. Is there anything you do before playing that helps you focus while you play? Sincerely, Sally Langton.

" We hope to hear from you after your next game, Ms. High Kick, this has been an update from the HNS Channel, bringing you a little cheer, in these uncertain times." Rick stated before the transmission faded to black.

Finally, A Win For Krumbia

Not neccersarily a deserved win, but a win all the same. The match against Crystalcliff point was very close, but resulted in a 5-4 win for Krumbia. "After our last two very dissapointing losses, this is something to be proud of. After a very tight match against Crystalcliff, I managed to put the winning goal in the back of their net in the 86th minute. I think our team did our nation proud today" says a very smug Jasper Shelton.

Good evening this is Golden Boot with Anthony Simmons on SBC's Coverage of day 3 of the Equestria Cup.

Today Shrillland suffered it's first defeat of the Tournament, a 1-0 defeat against the Equestrian States, the host for this fair event. Give us more info Tony.

Sure thing Golden Boot, today it was a disaster for the Shrills with Cherry Jelly receiving the Red Card at '28 after kicking Equestrian forward Starlight Sparkle in the shin, thankfully she was all right but when Cherry Jelly started arguing with the referee over it he received the Red Card and was out the rest of the game. His sub Vanilla Cloud came in and she played the rest of the game. The score came in at '72 when Goal Blossom(aptly named for this evening) was able to successfully dodge and weave through the Shrill Defenders and kicked right into the goal giving them the only Goal of the game.

Bad game Tony. The Shrills are now tied with Crystalcliff Point in last place on the board, and will be facing them after a very heated 5-4 defeat against Krumbia earlier today. Vanilla Cloud will stay on the roster for tomorrow's game, also Midfielder Peter Morgan will be replaced with Real Rierdon's Cascade Falls who's been having a decent season right Tony?

Right you are Golden Boot, and this will be in Manechester tomorrow where we will be watching. Keep it tuned to SBC1 and SBC2 tomorrow for the continuing coverage of the Equestria Cup, right now here on SBC1 stay tuned for the hit reality show "Real life".

"Good evening Legokiller this is Rubyshine here with a special guest again, President Aqua Crystal on LKNSN reporting in for the Equestrian Cup.

Today the Legokilleran Dragon slayers won another challenging match scoring 1-0 against Yesopalithan Flames, putting the Dragon Slayers at 4th rank. The atmosphere between the match was quite awkward during the match because the Flames have each of every species from their nation and surprising scary demons, werewolves, orc, and vampire. As for me personally I felt it was quite scary but exciting!"-Rubyshine

"Of course Rubyshine, beside our glorious Dragon Slayers done a wonderful job during the defense, especially the Goalkeeper Penultimo. Lucky Legokilleran Dragon Slayers team Captain, Aurora Blaze done awesome job scoring the only point in the whole match. Now I'm expecting one of the highlights for Legokiller next upcoming match on day four, The Legokilleran Dragons Slayers VS Hippostanian National Football Team at Sky-High Coliseum in Cloudsdale! The Social Liberal Ponyism team against anti-Communist Conservative Party, just to throw some politic differences, but still this gonna be grant match."- President Aqua Crystal

"So President Crystal, who do you expect to win at Cloudsdale?" Rubyshine

"Well hopefully if I promote Chilly Willy soda products to the thirsty fans and sell these T-shirts plus soccer uniforms for Legokilleran Dragon Slayers team, I bet we'll maybe victorious although the possibilities during this cup are endless. So stay turn in Legokilleran National Sports Network for your lately news coverage in Equestrian Cup!"-President Crystal

MANEHATTAN - Another day, another win for the Equestrian States. Three games into the tournament now, and the Equestrian squad has yet to lose after sneaking by Shrillland 1-0. Although the match was fairly uneventful in terms of scoring, both sides showcased their talented defenses.

With no excitement in the opening minutes, the match quickly settled into a defensive struggle, with both the Equestrians and Shrills not giving any ground to the other side. However, the aggression by both sides resulted in several on-field scuffles, including one in the 28th minute that led to Shrill defender Cherry Jelly receiving a red card. The Equestrians were unable to capitalize on this situation and by the half, the game was still scoreless.

It wasn’t until the final twenty minutes of the match that anypony was truly able to go on the offensive. Even then, little came from these opportunities. That is, except for Goal Blossom’s single goal that would be the only one scored all night. Having come on to replace Lunar Dawn in the opening minutes of the second half, the Unicorn streaked downfield past the Shrill defenders and placed a perfect shot in the net.

Though both sides would try to score, the Equestrians to expand their lead and the Shrills to tie the game, neither was successful. The match ended with the score: Equestrian States 1, Shrillland 0.

The next team on the schedule for the Equestrian States is the second-place Conclespia squad, with the game being played in Everfree’s Manticore Park. A win would almost ensure the advancement of the Equestrians to the next round, while a defeat or tie would only mean that they are back with the majority of the group.

Good evening this is Golden Boot with Anthony Simmons on SBC's Coverage of day 4 of the Equestria Cup.

Today was a good day for the Shrills as they achieved a 1-0 Victory against Crystalcliff Point. This match wasn't as action-packed as yesterday for the Shrills, thankfully there were no Red Cards for our players today, though Cascade Falls proved an excellent sub and Rapid Star continued to show why he's Trenchton United's hero Goalie. There was some excitement for a few minutes at '39 as Shrill Centre Midfielder Sand Dune and Centre Defence Sakaki of Crystalcliff Point both received Yellow Cards for a disputed kick, our replays showed that Sakaki managed to hit the ball first. The goal of the day came at '55 when Left Midfielder Solaris managed a spectacular Kick from Midfield into the Crystalcliff goal, giving Shrillland the point for the day.

Shrillland is now tied for 4th with the Sanian Confederacy, and will be going against the Hobbiest Republic after their splendid 2-1 victory against Krumbia tomorrow right here in Manechester. As always, Keep it tuned to SBC1 and SBC2 tomorrow for the continuing coverage of the Equestria Cup. Right now it's time for the 5,000,000 Cookling Fortune Hunt, SBC's newest Game Show smash. Good night!

Being defeated by Legokiller wasn't exactly what the Yesopalitha Flames had had in mind. Especially after the reserves learned that although the main squad had lost in the Cup of Harmony, they'd still finish this cup.

"Perhaps it will serve as a wake-up call and cause us to perform better," stated one of the players, his head bowed in shame. The Flames must score more goals... They fell short against the Legokilleran defense.

Yesopalitha looks to rebound soon...

Hobbiest National Sports Transmission February 22th 14:45

" Sorry we couldn't make it yesterday children! A couple Shadow Cultists came to our door and we had to show them out!" Rick Bawns announced.
" In our absence the team has had a Win and their first loss." Tim Julip said solemnly.
" We won against Krumbia only to be slapped down by Shrillland. As always take this time to adjust your approach and learn from past mistakes!" Rick shouted, a foot coming onto the desk in uncontained enthusiasm, as though some of that courage could be transferred to their team so far from home.
" It is true that despite our loss we're ranked 2nd of all the teams." Tim observed.
" And that's a fact, don't let our loss slow the momentum, let's snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!" Rick said, relaxing a little more as the transmission timeline started to reach its second half.
" We did get a short message from Ms. High Kick to her fans, however." Tim stated
To my dear fans,
I just run around the block a couple times before stretching and heading out to play with the team. But everyone has something they do to make sure they're on top of their game, it's not always the same. ;P
Signed, High Kick

" Let us all root for our team in their upcoming match against the Conclepsians!" Rick stated before the transmission started to fade out.
" Bringing you a ray of sunshine in these dark and uncertain times." Tim could be heard saying as the fade out completed.

Flames Draw against Hippostania, Division-Leading Polar Bears Next

In an absolute yawner of a game, the Yesopalitha Flames' reserve team drew against the Hippostanian National Team today in a fruitless match against both squads. The draw left the Flames in third place, with top four teams making it to the playoffs.

"We really couldn't get our offense going," admitted the Coach, "Luckily for us, our defense shut them down, too.

Yesopalitha will need to tune up its game, for the Polar Bears have only allowed two goals so far while scoring nine, and have won all four of their games.

"They are the surprise of the tournament," states an analyst, "Although if our national team was here, things might be different."

As the YSC has promised that the Reserve squad will see this tournament through till the end, Flames fans will hope that this squad can snap out of its funk and hopefully hoist the trophy.

"One step at a time, let's get to the knockout rounds first," said Death the Elemental Demon...

The enxt game should be able to show where this team stands...

Good evening this is Golden Boot with Anthony Simmons on SBC's Coverage of day 5 of the Equestria Cup.

It was another great day for Shrillland here in Manechester as the Shrills beat the Hobbiest Republic 1-0. Hobbiest Right Forward Tim the Ten-foot Alligator was the headliner of the game nearly pulling off what would have been an incredible goal at "8, he had a perfect angle, perfect pitch, if only Rapid Star wasn't a great Goalie. It cost Rapid Star though, the ball hit him square in the face, he was out for the rest of the game and will be out tomorrow. Bluebottle took his place.

The Shrill headline was at "51 when Wesley Pitt ran through the Hobbiest Defenders like they were trees in a forest to make the Game's only goal, another Triumph for the Shrills.

Shrillland is now tied at number 2 with the Hobbiest Republic, and will be going against the Sanian Confederacy tomorrow after their tense match against Krumbia, which ended in a 1-1 tie. It'll be in Manehattan where you'll see us tomorrow night, keep it tuned as always to SBC1 and SBC2.

Equestrians Look to Advance With Win or Draw

EVERFREE - With just two matches remaining, the Equestrian States can secure a quarterfinal berth with a win or draw against Crystalcliff Point here at Manticore Park. Although Crystalcliff struggled early in the tournament, a win against Conclespia yesterday now has them back in the highly contested race for the top four spots in Group B. Is the win a sign of developing greatness, or just a case of back luck for Conclespia?

Regardless of the result today, the Equestrian States is very likely to advance to the next round of play in the Equestria Cup. Only two losses would knock the team from the tournament, but with the way they have been playing recently, that seems highly unlikely.

So who will make the next round? Well, unlike Group B, Group A is probably going to have all of its qualifying slots locked up after today due to the wide gap between the current leaders and the bottom three. I would have to say that the four qualifiers for Group A will be (in order): Kingdom of the Polar Bear, Yesopalitha, Legokiller, and Hippostania. Group B presents more of a challenge to predict, but I think that the Equestrian States, Shrillland, Hobbiest Republic, and the Sanian Confederacy will advance.

In the event that I am right in that, the quarterfinals will look like this (predictions in bold):

Kingdom of the Polar Bear vs. Sanian Confederacy
Equestrian States vs. Hippostania
Yesopalitha vs. Hobbiest Republic
Shrillland vs. Legokiller

Okay, so yes I am picking all the favorites there with no upsets, but with those match-ups the favorites really do have a dominant advantage. But which of these teams will make the finals?

Kingdom of the Polar Bear vs. Shrillland
Equestrian States vs. Yesopalitha

And now I pick an upset. With a strong defense, Shrillland has one of the best chances of anypony to beat the (thus far) perfect Polar Bears. The Equestrian States may not be as talented as Yesopalitha’s reserves, but ultimately the Equestrians are starters while the Yesopalithans are just back-ups.

Consolation Match: Kingdom of the Polar Bear vs. Yesopalitha

Here again I pick an upset. Yesopalitha should be trying extra hard here to prove their abilities, and disheartened Polar Bear squad should be ripe for the picking. And finally: the Championship…

Equestrian States vs. Shrillland

Yes, I think that the Equestrian States will walk away from this tournament with its second international title in a very close match. Shrillland is good, but the home field advantage of the Equestrians could provide the edge for a victory.

Yo, its Dave here with some exciting news. We did not win, we came to a draw due to the fact that some of the players got a little drunk off of what the great bear calls 'ROFL Vodka' (whatever the hell that is). But said alcoholic beverage only hindered us to the point were we came to a draw. We still have yet to go, isn't that right Chilly?"

"Yes Dave, that is so true. We might be going up against Shrillland pretty soon, whose defense is one of the best according to our sources"

"While that maybe the case, we have Polar Bears as our forewords. And, as we all know Adult males weigh up too 350–680 kg (770–1500 lbs) and measure 2.4–3 m (7.9–9.8 ft) in length. And they are the largest terrestrial carnivore, being more than twice as big as the Siberian tiger. And, said beings going up against Ponies and Humans like myself. I would bring a spare change of Underwear, and a Jock strap."

(Chilly, who is a Anthropic-Bear, chuckles a bit before saying) "Yea, but every giant has a weakness, and ours is heat. Even Anthro bears like myself, who are more like humans with claws that have thumbs and white fur, can easily overheat at temperatures above 10 °C (50 °F). But thankfully, its wintertime and it has been in the 30's-40's temp wise."

"God, i can imagine how hot you guys must be. Because if you can over heat above 50. 30 and 40 degree weather is like 70 to 80 degree weather for us. And we can survive for a wile, but its not good to stay out for long. Like i remember last summer, you and me were giving a report from Bearhio, outside, in July, and you were out for the day because of heatstroke."

"Yea, that was absolute hell on earth that day. I thought i was going to die. And i nearly did, but thank Celestia im living in the time of Central Air-conditioning"

(guy behind the camera begins to laugh and someone also off camera says,"O the Autism in this place!. Chilly hears this, and gets pissed)

"HAY!, YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH AUTISTIC PEOPLE/BEARS BACK THERE?!, because i half to deal with enough s*** like that online!"

(man off camera says "well bears and people like you are f***ing annoying on the internet with your overused Skyrim jokes and dead memes and your utter retards you are!" Chilly finally snaps and pulls out a M1 Gerand rifle from below the desk and fires a entire clip into the air.)

"Ok, COME OUT PUNK, YOUR LEAD CEREAL IS GETTING SOGGY!"

("Dude, calm the f*** down" Dave says as he helps restrain his friend from shooting. As this happens the TV stops broadcasting and cuts to colorbars.)
