Category 1: Mercurial

"Fleet of foot and sharp of mind..."

Mercurial Personnel form the reactionary core of the Toro security team. At any time, and at a moment's notice, the Mercurial security specialists are able to respond and contain any threat until Martial or Herculean forces can arrive.

Armed with a 30 round, 9x19-mm Hurricane TMP-18 and the Zenith 10-mm automatic pistol, these forces are able to adequately respond to any situation with maximum stealth and precision, as well as with minimal collateral damage. Usually, due to their lack of heavy armor, Mercs are used in low-risk security and policing jobs, as well as as Rapid Deployment Personnel.

Mercurial armor, while light, is by no means useless. Its patented Polygonal Acute Force Dissipation (PAFD) design effectively distributes the force from long range or small caliber rounds across the entire torso. This protects the wearer from damage in everyday combat situations, and minimizes the pushback effect of a bullet. This allows Mercs to continue to react, even as they are taking small-arms fire.

While not usually deployed in front-line combat, Mercs make excellent light-infantry support teams, with highly trained Mercurial snipers providing a precise, stealthy alternative to brute military force. Excelling in high-risk, high-reward situations, these snipers were recently praised by police and counter terrorist organizations the world over for their role in the resolution of the Sepoy Crisis, where a team of snipers took out over thirty former-military rebel terrorists over the course of twenty minutes and saved numerous innocent lives.

Category 2: Martial

"Honor and glory in battle..."

Martial Security Personnel form the combat backbone of any modern security force. With their battle-ready armor and equally battle-ready temperament, Martial Security forces can assess and handle any and all heavy combat situations with extreme prejudice and similarly extreme devotion to their objective.

Armed with a variety of weapons, the average Martial carries with him a .303 FR-27 Sanction Flechette Rifle as well as a standard issue Zenith 10-mm automatic pistol. For differing situations, however, Martial personnel can be outfitted with close-quarters weapons such as the 12-gauge SRM Arms M1216 or the 9x19-mm Hurricane TMP-18. Usually, due to their combat training, armor and equipment, Martials are deployed in combat operations where a skilled, educated and loyal fighting force is needed.

Martials wear a combat PAFD chassis with built in bandoliers and equipment hooks. The polygonal armor can dissipate the force of larger caliber bullets than other variations, while the integrated bandoliers and equipment hooks allow personnel to carry large packs and heavier loads. This novel weight distribution system ensures that soldiers are always well-supplied and rarely over-encumbered in combat situations.

With their training and cutting edge equipment, Martials perform admirably in front-line combat operations. They are conditioned and trained for extreme loyalty and will never refuse an order, even when faced with overwhelming odds. Used throughout the world in extended military campaigns, Toro Martials can ensure success in high-risk situations, and their conditioning makes them equally perfect for deniable operations. It is highly recommended that Martials are used only in situations where combat will be involved, as they are otherwise overqualified and overpriced.

Category 3: Herculean

"Behold: the Nemean Lion!"

Herculean Personnel are Toro's true masters of destruction. The most heavily armed and armored of all Toro Personnel, Herculii are the soldiers who can wreak havoc on dug-in enemies, armored personnel and armored vehicles.

Armed according to the mission requirements, Herculii can carry the 5.56x45-mm HR12 Minigun (a multi-barrel machine-gun with an extremely high rate of fire), the 329-Series MPRS (a rocket launching system that launches the High Explosive, Dual Purpose HEDP Semi-smart rocket), or the Linebacker G-87 Multiple Shot Grenade Launcher (MSGL), which launches large, 40x46mm HE grenades. Herculean security specialists are usually only deployed in specific situations where the heaviest firepower is of the utmost necessity, such as countering enemy tank movements, assaulting fortified locations or taking down low-altitude aircraft.

Besides their obvious size and strength, Herculean Combat Ready Bullet Resistant Suits (CRBRS, or CERBERUS) contain servo powered joints and motorized limb support structures. This grants Herculii astounding strength and efficiency, as well as the ability to wield the heavy weapons they are trained in, many of which (the M404 and MPRS) are usually only relegated to weapons mounts on vehicles and walls. Herculii can also act as pack mules for the lighter personnel, able to carry astounding amounts of weight over equally astounding distances.

1. Hurricane TMP-18

The Tactical Machine Pistol 18, or 'Tempesta,' has been the standard issue firearm for Mercurial security teams since the company's beginning in 2012. The reliable weapon is distinct, serving as a an interim solution between true machine pistols (such as the Glock 18) and full-size submachine guns (such as the H&KMP5).

It offers a lower, and more controllable rate of fire (900 rounds/minute as opposed to 1100-1200 rounds/minute in automatic pistols like the G18), as well as several other upgrades and features such as a larger magazine capacity, an integral front grip, a Picatinny rail system and a shoulder stock.

The TMP-18 is a short recoil operated, locked breech, selective fired weapon. The Hurricane features a rotating barrel locking, and the bolt is telescoped around the barrel for about half of its length. The entire bolt/barrel group is enclosed in a lightweight polymer housing, which protects the mechanisms from elements and rough handling. The standard sight is a ghost ring (diopter with large aperture) and is fully adjustable, though red-dot sights and night sights are available.


This light submachine gun also uses special 123 grain 9mm Parabellum jacketed hollow point bullets, which provide greater stopping power than the conventional 9mm bullet.

2. Zenith 10-mm Pistol

The Zenith 10mm Semi Automatic Pistol was specially engineered for Toro Mercenario by Toro International Defence S.p.a. It serves as the standard issue sidearm for all three classes of security personnel, Mercurial, Martial and Herculean.

The Zenith is a recoil operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistol. It uses conventional Browning style locking with barrel lowered by shaped cam track in the barrel extension under the chamber. The locking is achieved by single massive lug on the barrel, that locks into the ejection port of the slide. The Zenith features steel construction, with fixed sights and high capacity, double stack magazines.

The 10mm Auto ammunition packs a punch, and comes in both full metal jacket and hollow-point variants.

3. Carcano Mk.X Suppressed Sniper Rifle

The Carcano Mk.X is a rifle designed specifically for PMC use by Toro International's Military and Police Armaments Division (Toro International Defence S.p.a.). It was named after the previous Carcano rifles, but shares very little in common with them aside from a bolt action. The system has, so far, not been exported for foreign use and solely operates within the Toro Mercenario Mercurial arsenal.

The integrated silencer, which is this weapon's main feature, serves to mask a shooter's location, direction or distance over ranges in excess of 400 meters. With greater ranges, between 900 and 2,000 meters, the actual shot sound is negligible given an average level of background noise. The bullet, a .416 caliber supersonic round, will still generate a fair amount of noise, given its supersonic nature. Subsonic rounds are available, but not practical for the long ranges that this rifle is designed to operate at.

The scope includes holographic display and a range calculator. When paired with GPS-enabled Toro Defence Display Goggles, standard issue to Mercurial snipers, the shooter has the ability to measure the rotation of the earth, wind and optimal shot angle. Manual calculations are still optimal, but this system allows for quick firing where accuracy is not paramount (i.e. an engaged enemy force with a clear geographic separation from friendly forces.)

The FR-27 Flechette Rifle is the standard combat rifle for Martial personnel, and is manufactured by Toro International Defence S.p.a. It is an extremely new combat rifle and has not yet seen active combat. With that said, the system has passed rigorous tests and has performed well in simulated combat conditions.

The FR-27 is a combination of several different firearm design ideas, all conglomerated into a sleek, reliable and aesthetically pleasing package. This rifle uses a short piston stroke, gas operated action, with the gas piston mounted inside the compact gas block, which is fixed to the barrel. The housing of the FR-27 rifle is made from the high impact-resistant polymer. It is usually of black (military) or white (police) colour with a red stripe, depending on the personnels' purpose. The housing has two symmetrical ejection ports, one of which is always covered by the plastic cover.

The flechette rounds are the real star of the FR-27 rifle system. Each round utilizes a base sabot surrounding a small, .303 caliber flechette. The flechette provides greater range capabilities, as well as decreased tearing trauma to the target. In this way, the flechette rounds are ideal for conditions where collateral damage is unacceptable.

The HR12 Minigun, equipped with a "chainsaw style grip" and a high velocity rotating barrel, has been in the Toro arsenal for years. Previously only used on vehicles, the weapon has begun seeing use by Herculean personnel, whose CERBERUS armor allow them to lift the massive weapons and ammo belts.

The weapon comes with a NiCad battery belt to operate the barrel rotation mechanism, as well as a harness to support the ammunition feed. The gun itself is held via a chainsaw style grip, which aids in reducing recoil. So far, the weapon has proved useful in clearing landing zones, as well as in suppression fire. A Herculean airdrop can provide a safe LZ within minutes, and enable the quick insertion of troops into a secured area.

We hope to organize the 50,000 personnels into five brigades, 5,000 personnels each. The division will be ordered as 3rd Toro Security Division, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Toro Security Brigade. We require five brigade commanders to lead the respective brigades and a Division Security Chief(has to be military trained) to lead the division, their names are required.
