Hi everybody,
I've got a little bit of time to do a short, manageable RP, and I thought it'd be nice to flex my fingers and write something about my MT state. As such, I'm planning on a stock formal ballgown RP with a lot of my characters, primarily for several reasons:
- It's been a long time since I got the swing of my MT folks, and I thought it'd be fun and nice to get into the swing of them again
- It'd be nice to meet the current crop of RPers and get to know everyone, lord knows it's been a while
- It's a good exercise to see how much of the Amalgamate I remember, and how much I need to reread
The story is a two-parter:
It'll be the ascension of Rashkta Nirandu to a Zakakorn. This part will be people (whomever you want) to come and give congrats, spit in her face (please don't), chill out, talk, and just plain mingle. I'll try and make it exciting or interesting. This event will be a round table of sorts, so please understand that many of you will have to speak in a group setting, not as a one-on-one. However, one-on-ones will still happen, especially if you (OOCly) request it. The setting will start in a very formal setting, and then become increasingly Methronnian, ie. they're gonna hit the pubs around Sasz Kerenuk.
The second part will be the inevitable vacuum that comes from Rashkta's death shortly after her ascension. The scenario can still focus on your character, but you can also choose to RP as a journalist, an interested body, etc. Part of the second part is detective-esque mystery, asking questions about why Rashkta was chosen, and what it means to be the Zakakorn, and what power in the Amalgamate represents, and what costs are needed to maintain or acquire it. This second part will only happen if the first one ends, cause of obvious plotting reasons.
