Another open letter to Mall:

I owe you an apology. Earlier I chastised you in this very thread for posting a personal goal (that proposal) while wearing an official jacket. I then turned around and basically did the same thing in another thread (posting from a personal standpoint while wearing my official jacket). This is extremely unfair to you and it grieves me to realize my own hypocrisy and stupidity comes at the price of casting doubt upon your own reputation. What you did was make a proposal. What I did was make an ass of myself. Trust me on this one.

Your Moderation-ship has shown us a side of you that many didn't realize existed. They saw only "raider" rather than a person before appointment. I've come to respect your intelligence and sense of fair play via your decisions relating to mod reports. I wronged a person that I respect, and that doesn't sit well with me at all. From the bottom of my heart, I am sorry.

A friend's region got invaded by some spammers and trolls before being raided a few days later by some raiders bearing the flag of Wales. I am now in the refugee region.

I'd like to sign it, but I can't agree with the Mall should resign part of the letter It's not that I don't think he should, I have no opinion on the matter. I don't know the guy, and the proposal itself wasn't illegal - even if it should've been his actions weren't necessarily wrong.
Just thought I'd bring it up Any chances there's a "I wish to sign but-not-too-bothered-with-Mall option?"

Many of the mods and mentors too are already willing to do that - Scolo, for example, who reversed his warns and flag deletions, and apologised where possible.
