30 meters is large? Lol the ship we sent is classified as a Heavy Fighter.
According to Wikipedia, the largest fighter ever in service in the real world, the Tupolev Tu-128, only had a wingspan of 17.53 meters. If your craft is wider than 30 meters, that's a damn big Fighter.
Anyways, the Hangars are sized for Excidian craft, the Bolt starfighter only has a wingspan of like 15 meters or something, and I don't think the V64C even has wings, honestly.Anyway, unfortunately, no. Not in its current configuration. It's just slightly wider than 30 meters right now. It would have to shift back into V-form and, due to that form's emphasis on acceleration with terrible maneuverability, it would have to look like it's about to ram your hangar in order to dock fittingly.
...
Although if you had something like a grappling hook or some tractor beam equivalent we could dock much more easily and then leave even more easily in V-form.
Of course we have magnetic tow cables, we need to pull damaged ships in somehow.

An app that was 1) seriously lacking, considering the requirements for others, and 2) which you didn't approve. Also they seem to be getting quite ahead of the game/godmodding about everyone being on the Starliner already.

Yes, I noticed that. I'll try bringing it up.Lyrical Extrasolar Mission wrote:...just how fast are these dropships (acceleration-wise), if you don't mind me asking?
I don't know for sure, but I would guess close to the FZ-60 Ventus Combat Interceptor, which has essentially infinite acceleration in space, as AE Celestia lists the speed at half a light year per hour, clearly FTL speeds. (You know, I don't know why we still use messenger ships, actually, we could use Ventus interceptors for 15 times faster communication).
Things get a bit weird with Stormwrathian tech, it's far beyond our own.

A dimension of darkness, which is where he stayed for several days learning its secrets, and with those secrets he has learned to harness the powers of the shadows.
Effect: He can summon shades in places he is familiar with, such as the capital or his flagship, those shades can possess the weaker minded and use them to carry out his will. He can also teleport to nearby areas.
Negative Effect: The shade itself has little physical effect so alone it can only be his eyes and ears, and anti-magic immediately dissipates or knocks it back. It may be able to possess someone but only the weakest of mind and can't push them to far. The more shades he has out the longer it takes him to process things as his focus is split between every shade and himself. His teleporting/blinking covers him and the area around him and where he is teleporting to whenever he does so, meaning he can't teleport behind someone and they not notice, then it also takes time to teleport, which is when he is most vulnerable.

Now, that's just not true. You've done detail before, better than what you posted here.
And nothing personal or anything, but detail is one of the focuses of the RP:Excidium Planetis wrote:Your characters will be free to explore the world, and I will work hard to craft an experience around your interactions. On an RMB post, where almost everyone does one liners, sparse detail may suffice, but for this kind of RP, the level of detail expected is a bit higher. Your post just looks out of place in the RP.Also, as far as I could tell you mentioned everyone that was already there already on the star liner...
The Sierra Lyricalia delegation is now on board the Starliner, but Aeiouia's post clearly has Ayda flying a starfighter towards the Starliner, the dropship Potted Plants is on is still in space (maybe, PPU wanted to go back a bit so the plants could ask more questions), Tinfect hasn't even had their people leave their ships yet, and the Second Brotherhood of Planets is still trying to dock. Also you did TG me, so I thought I was clear, and you TGed me that the rp had offically started cause you didnt know how much I checked the forums
I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, because you are an RPer.Also(I will have to start to do this) I dont always read really long post all the way through, just skimming them, otherwise I may get bored
As long as you ask questions about things you aren't sure about (Like, "Is everyone already on the Starliner?") that will be fine. It's when you miss key details in the skimming that there are problems.
Speaking of problems, I have a few questions about your post:New Constitution of Lost Earth wrote:On board the star liner ahead of the others a shade appears and walks over to them and looks at everyone "I appear to be late...Anyways, I am Lord Castilin the representative for the NCLE"
The first is the biggest problem: How did Castilin's shade even get on board our ship? You explained in your TG that shade projection is your Ultimate Lore Tech, but your own description (the one approved by the Federacy's leadership) says this:Desc: Several centuries ago a small group, including Castilin, journeyed into a lost temple on an unknown planet searching for some dark powers, what he found was The Void. A dimension of darkness, which is where he stayed for several days learning its secrets, and with those secrets he has learned to harness the powers of the shadows.

I think it's pretty safe to say your leader is not familiar with one of our regular old civilian cruise ships in the middle of a random empty system we asked everyone to meet at.
Second, how did Castilin know to show up at this exact second, on that exact ship, and that the random group of people he has never seen before and was not yet introduced to are in fact the other people who were invited to this project (and, by the way, none of the other nations were informed that other nations would be invited, except PPU's plants just now) and that he is late? Seems like an awful lot of assumptions to make.

Excidium Planetis wrote:My description of the Amaranth noted a zero gravity gym. After reconsidering the ship design, this is highly impractical, as it would require just the center portion of the starship spinning while the connection to the warp ring was stationary. Better to have the whole thing rotating, which makes the connecting portion have a slightly higher gravity. High gravity gymnasium, then, which is actually quite the hazard.

Potted Plants United wrote:Aeiouia, does Ayda breathe? I mean, obviously she doesn't need to breathe (the bit about her trying to talk in the vacuum was amusing), but she's just as obviously capable of speaking in an atmosphere.
I'm mostly asking because if the PPU plants get close enough to people, they'll be able to detect the CO2 that people breathe out (RL plants can, too, which is fairly cool, though not with the precision that the hivemind is capable of - it takes a mind to have the ability to put "breeze from direction X", "a person in direction X", "slight increase of CO2 in direction X" together and come up with "the person in direction X is breathing out CO2"), and the hivemind would probably be slightly puzzled if it didn't detect that from someone.

Aeiouia wrote:The the drone mimics breathing, but does not actually do so. After all it is designed to fool Humans, not a sapient plant hivemind. The PPU plants would indeed detect no CO2 emanating from Ayda.

I'm fine with both, really. Maybe continue on for the early portion of the trip, and jump ahead from there, just to let everyone get the hang of their characters?
