23. Polkopia

Find You by Katarina Dashanovka
Language: English
Tune: Delta Goodrem - Lost Without You

After a successful victory in the Landa vy Polkopiya, which for many editions, served as the Polkopian National Final which would determine who would represent Polkopia in the Worldvision Song Contest and with which song, Katarina Dashanovka and her song, Find You, achieved many domestic milestones as well. Find You climbed to #3 on the Top 100 Polkopian Hits for 2015. Although a much different entry than what the PNB, or Polkopian National Broadcaster, usually sends to Worldvision, many Polkopian bookies are betting for this song to finish in a top 10 position. Critics of the song, however, say that the PNB failed to send an 'authentic' Polkopian song to the contest and Katarina will suffer heavily as a result. Needless to say, the outcome on Polkopia's entry to the 37th Worldvision Song Contest heavily depends on Katarina's performance on the night of the final.

Katarina Dashanovka sat at a large, white grand piano in the center of the stage. Her hair was carefully braided in a traditional Polkopian fashion, as if to make a statement against those who criticized her during the Landa vy Polkopiya. She wore a long, pink dress which seemed to gently blow back on stage once the wind machines were set up around the stage. Around her, two male guitarists and a female drummer were set up, as well as one female backing singer. The men and woman on the instruments began to play their respective instruments and soon enough, Katarina joined them on the piano before leaning forward and singing into the microphone.

[OoC: Regular: Katarina singing alone.
Italics: Katarina singing with backing singer.
Bold: Katarine singing with backing singer.]

We both already know where our troubles lie
We both try to make each other cry
All just to prove that we were right
About something that doesn't matter in the end.

I thought me and you were like heaven and hell
Two opposites trying to, figure life out

As the chorus began, the lights shone around stage and the background LED screen showed different projections of bright colors such as red, orange, and yellow, fusing into one another. Streams of blue and purple would appear every now and then on the screen as well, seeming the slice the screen in half.

I've been trying to find you
This entire time.
But do I even know you
Should I even try?
If we took a moment to figure this entire thing out
What would we do?
If I can't even find you.

(I keep trying to find my place)
Yeah...
(But why do I even try?)
I can't even find you
(I keep trying anyway)
Will I find you?

The chorus ends, and the lights return to their previous state. The LED screen fades into darker shades of blue and purple rather than the brighter colors seen a moment ago. Fog machines emit a heavy blanket of fog which covers the entire floor.

How man fights have we endured?
How many times have you hurt me with words?
Every time I close my eyes I see you
And that is why I'm so confused

You're in my thoughts, my mind, my prayers
As much as I want you gone, I want you to stay

The chorus returns, as do the bright lights on the LED screens. These lights are also reflected in the fog below, creating a bright, almost whimsical atmosphere on stage.

I've been trying to find you
This entire time.
But do I even know you
Should I even try?
If we took a moment to figure this entire thing out
What would we do?
If I can't even find you.

(I keep trying to find my place)
Yeah...
(But why do I even try?)
I can't even find you
(I keep trying anyway)
Will I find you?

Katarine gently picks up the microphone from its holder on the piano, and stands up, facing the audience. The wind machines seem to pick up a bit, blowing her hair back as well as the loose ends of her dress.

Every time I think this way
I think back on what we used to say
And how we whispered sweet nothings in each others' ears.

Ohh!

Katarina had crouched down over the microphone to sing that last note, and when she had done so, the fog seemed to clear from the stage floor all at once, and in its place, multiple jets of water shot up from the back of the stage and the LED screen showed a large heart being formed; half yellow and orange, and the other half, dark blue and purple.

I think I've finally found you
Right here by my side
And now I think I finally know you
You've been here this whole time
It took me a while to figure this whole thing out
What would I do?
If I hadn't even found you.

(I kept trying to find my place)
Yeah...
(I had tried for so long)
I've finally found you...
(Took me until know to know)
That I actually love you, oh...

I'm glad I've found you

24-WORLDVISION-SILKJD ENTRY

DEREK WILSON-IF YOU KNOW

Tune:Skinny Love by Bon Iver, edition of Birdy
When the prelude starts, the stage light turns dim. At this time, Derek sings the first verse of the song:
If you know that how it would be,
If you feel that how I feel,
It’s just like, it’s just like I’m in a pain
So that’s the moment I couldn’t find…

Then, the stage light starts turning shine, and shining Derek. He then starts the second verse of the song:
If you know that how it hurt me
So why you still treat me as this,
I don’t know, I don’t know, why you trace on me
I don’t know why I’m so infortune…

When he starts the refrain, his feeling becomes cheerful:
It’s the time I want to tell you that our love has over
It’s the time I want to tell you that I can’t stand your behave
It’s the time I want to tell you that you hurt me a lot
It’s the time I want to tell you that I would not be your slave

He then starts the third verse of the song with painful feeling:
If you know that it would hurt me
Why you still break my poor heart
You know that, you know that it's time let me go
It’s the moment to end it up

He then starts the refrain of the song again with cheerful feeling:
It’s the time I want to tell you that our love has over
It’s the time I want to tell you that I can’t stand your behave
It’s the time I want to tell you that you hurt me a lot
It’s the time I want to tell you that I would not be your slave

He ends the song with slightly slow speed:
Our love is over, I’m wrong
I shouldn’t believe your fault

Our love is over…
I don’t know, I don’t know, why you trace on me
I don’t know, I don’t know, why you trace on me

When the song ends, Derek walks of the stage and waves hands towards audience.

(1)Kasanova-Koratica
(2)The Sword Bloke
郭:挺好,果然有經驗的人,能夠駕馭整首歌的精髓。
(3)Brittanny
蕭:唱得有感情,但舞者和歌手有點格格不入。
(4)INSERT USERNAMES HERE
郭:歌手充份表達了離婚後重新出發的感受。
(5)Talvezout
蕭:三人唱歌不協調,可謂一大敗筆。但他們本身唱歌不錯,相信獨立發展會有一定成就。
(6)Al-Balansiyya
郭:一首很好的勵志歌曲,值得一讚。
(7)Ekoz
蕭:歌手充份表現出男女別離的感受,是一首好歌。
(8)Chameliya
郭:好歌!不論節奏和台型均佳。又是一首很好的勵志歌曲。
(9)Bloodbath Generation
蕭:對此歌也是蠻有期待。
梁:可是爆破璃太危險了。
(10)Izmedu
郭:歌簡潔易明,可惜節奏太慢,不然必為佳作。
(11)Dennis Bergkamp
蕭:一首歌重覆三次都已經讓人覺得悶,何況六次?
郭:完全不行,我覺得只需保留其中兩次便可。
(12)Elejamie
郭:表白一流,但用作參加國際比賽,我覺得不適合。
(13)Vampirum
蕭:人美聲甜,歌的內容又不空泛,挺好。
(14)Normandy and Picardy
(15)Free Republics
梁:自由共和國可謂現在聽得到之中最出色的...
郭:歌手將宗教批判加入歌中,已經十分前衛,加上歌手的表情動作,更可令人知道她對宗教的仇恨。
(16)Taxachusetts
蕭:之前都說了,不宜重複超過兩次!人類總要重複同樣的錯誤。
(17)Yttribia
(RESERVED)
(18)Luziyca
郭:歌手明確表示自己參加比賽的目的,可惜除此之外沒有任何內容,很難有高分。
(19)Gregoryisgodistan
蕭:不論歌的內容,歌手唱歌簡直像叫喊多於唱歌,這個歌手,兩個字形容-垃圾。
(20)Gregory Llama Land
郭:歌手以歌提倡女權,一首非情歌代表作,歌藝亦十分出色。
(21)Electrum
蕭:挺好,歌曲節奏亦佳,如果沒有開頭踢灰的動作會更好。
(22)Electrum Diplomatic Offices
郭:我想問我自己是否在看歡樂夜現場呢?
梁:很明顯了,這歌不應在這裡,應該在歡樂夜現場表演。
(23)Polkopia
蕭:好歌。
(24)Silkjd
梁:終於到世逸了。
蕭:今次的表現一般,和上次比賽比較,今次他的表現不太穩定,有點緊張。

D: Yes!
(1)Kasanova-Koratica

S: The dancers and the singer is a bit incompatible with each other, but the singer is OK.
(4)INSERT USERNAMES HERE
D: The feelings of divorce is slightly shown in this entry.

(7)Ekoz
S: It is a good song as the singer successfully imaged the separate of a couple.
(8)Chameliya
D:A good song though.
(9)Bloodbath Generation
S:Quite excited for the entry...
D:But breaking the glass seems too dangerous.
(10)Izmedu
D: It is an easily-known song but the bit of that song is too slow.
(11)Dennis Bergkamp
S: Repeats too many times! It is really boring.
(12)Elejamie
D: It is suitable for showing love rather than singing in an international competition.
(13)Vampirum
S:Quite good. Her tune is good and the lyrics are not inanity.
(14)Normandy and Picardy
S: The drummer and the singer is incompatible with their clothes.
D: Except that, the feeling is too exaggerated.
(15)Free Republics
S: It is very vanguard to put a religious criticism in a song.
D: Also, the feelings of the singer also shows her hatred of the religion.
(16)Taxachusetts
S:Boring entry again.
(17)Yttribia
(RESERVED)
(18)Luziyca
S: The singer sings nothing but the purpose of participating, it is difficult to get higher scores.
(19)Gregoryisgodistan
S: One word-Rubbish.
(20)Gregory Llama Land
D: A good song as the singer's singing art is perfect and uses an upsetting topic to reveal the topic. That's great.
(21)Electrum
S: Without kicking ashes, her performance is good.
(22)Electrum Diplomatic Offices
S:I think I'm in EYNL*, don't you think?
D:I think so. If it is in EYNL, I will give them a high score, but in WorldVision, I think I can't.
(23)Polkopia
D: Sounds good.
(24)Silkjd
S: It's Silkjd's time!
D:His performance is not good as the national final, his feeling in this competition is unstable.

(OOC: EYNL, the whole name is "Enjoy Yourself Night Live"(歡樂夜現場), a combination of name of Enjoy Yourself Tonight of TVB in Hong Kong and Saturday Night Live of NBC in the United States, is a longevity variety show of SSTV's competitor, STV.)

Worldvision 37, MondeVis 37

Robert: Hello and Welcome to Worldvision live from Ë-Mieszkóm
Julia: I am Julia Vanjard and this is Robert Estkron and welcome to the Normand commentary
Robert: Tonight we may see some bad acts and drag acts and someone's wig
Julia: And some good ones too!
Robert: Lets begin!

Opening Act
Robert: Everything seems creepy; the strange children for the postcards, the song...
Julia: No one ever seems to do a good opening act although the one in WV35 was good
Robert: It's certainly a departure musically from last year

Kasanova-Korotica
Robert: I liked it. A good song, a strange subject but it may do well back home
Julia: How ridiculous, how awful!
Robert: Take that back!

Brittanny
Julia: Bravo Robert! Bravo!
Robert: Why thank you
Julia: Not you Robert, Robert Mark - the Brittanniot act
Robert: I know (grumbles)
Julia: That performance was superb

Insert Username Here
Julia - Awful
Robert - Atrocious
Julia - A generally bad song. It didn't feel right, if you get what I mean

Talvezout
Robert - My favourite so far
Julia - We've had five song, none of which have been good
Robert - If this masterpiece doesn't do well, I don't know what will

Al-Balansiyya
Julia - Why couldn't they keep a nice, simple name like Kishrael?
Robert - Overall, this is an OK song for it's genre - not the best but not the worst

Ekoz
Robert - This could do really well
Julia - Or flop really hard
Robert - It is a lovely song that should get points from us

Chameliya
Julia - Dreadful! What is up with the contest so far?
Robert - How can you say that? This is a really good song and one of the best so far
Julia - That isn't hard, considering most of the songs have been rubbish

BGEN

Izmedu
Julia - It's a good song but not a winner
Robert - Depending on the quality of the rest of the songs, this could do OK

Dennis Bergkamp
Robert+Julia - What was that?

Elejamie
Julia - Saddly, it's another bad song for them. It doesn't fit my tastes whatsoever
Robert - Everything has gone downhill from their debut for them

Vampirum
Robert - I love this song. It is one of the best so far!
Julia - I'm slightly impressed. It's better than the rubbish we have had so far

Normandy and Picardy
Julia - Well, we aren't winning
Robert - It wasn't the best song in our selection, and we should be happy with a top 20 finish this time, which is a shame considering the 7th we got last time

Free Republics
Robert - Wow! What a good song from them. This will get points
Julia - It perfectly shows the singers anger at religion, an opinion we endorse, and I think this should do well

Taxachussets
Julia - What a downer after the song we have just had
Robert - Mumbling mad guitar music warning about something I have a limited knowledge on, due to the fact we aren't taught about religion except for how evil it is. Worldvision is just an example of this, with different countries making songs about others following certain evils rather than other evils
Julia - Up next is Yttribia

Yttribia

Luziyca
Robert - I'm glad that was short. Unfortunately, it was too short for a toilet break
Julia - The standard has been lacking this edition so far it seems

Gregoryisgodistan
Robert - What a lovely performance, what with the amazing and realistic pyrotechnics
Julia - That's because they were real
Robert - You can't say it wasn't a good song though
Julia - It wasn't a good song

Gregory Llama Land
Julia - What a boring song
Robert - I have no idea why these people even try

25-Dreamplanet's Entry For WVSC 37.

Lost Dreams by The Angels of Dark Times
Tune: Lost Hope
0:11
When it's over..
It's all over.
You've got nothing for your own.
You've lost all hope...
All dreams...

0:20
Everyone ignores you...
You've been tossed to the side.
And you just don't know what happened...

0:35
Whatever happens.
I'll be there for you.
They don't understand.
But they will some day...
When you've lost all hope.
And you've lost your dreams...

0:47
But just forget your misery...
We'll go through it together...
Past the flames and all your trouble.
I'll help you there...

1:01
But when you notice
when it's all over...
It'll be alright again...
Just remember that you'll be safe again...

1:10
Hard times approach.
But it's alright.
The misery will end...
and your hopes and dreams will be restored...

1:21
Just remember...

1:25
That you'll be safe...
And it'll be alright...

1:30
Because out there...
There will be...
Hope.

1:37
You'll make it there...
You'll make it there...

It'll be alright...

1:43
Just believe in yourself and what you can do.
To change the world...

1:49
But only if you believe!
Push those fears away!
Fight them and tear them down!
Because they're only pushing you down!

1:57
You'll make it there!
2:00
Believe in yourself!
2:08
Because you'll become unstoppable!
And you'll forget the misery!
And pain you were suffering!
2:15
Because you can!
You can make it through the hard times!
You just have to
Believe!
2:32
Not even if we have to unite nations
With the power of music
to all be good again!
2:45
Because when you dreams are lost...
They can be restored
You just have to believe...
2:53
Just believe...
Because you'll make it there
2:55
And don't give up...
And do your best.

26 MISTER X

Marcus Fox - "Do You Love Me, Baby?"
Tune: Union J - "Loving You Is Easy".

Marcus Fox arrived as a shy person, but as his stay progressed he became more and more confident. Then people realised why he was so shy, as he had had to reject no less than 36 marriage proposals. Marcus had already taken "Do You Love Me, Baby?" to number one in Mister X, although, somewhat alarmingly, he was being beaten in the Missus Xian charts by their own entry.

Nonetheless, Marcus took to the stage. It was pitch black. Marcus was wearing an unbuttoned dark blue shirt, revealing just how hot he was, and some very tight trousers. He was also wet, as if he had just been showering in his clothes. His shoes were trendy and cool, a flourescent white. The stage was also wet in about one centimetre's worth of water. Three dancers were also standing on this stage in a staggered line with Marcus.

Together, with you, baby,
We could make it work, you will see.
But I don't know if you, baby,
If you want to be with me.

It's not a cliché love song,
We can make it work, baby.
I love you so much.
But do you love me, baby?

The dancers and Marcus start kicking the water in time with each other, as the lights flash on with every beat of the music.

Do you love me, baby?

Do you love me, baby?

I love you so much.
Do you love me, baby?

The lights now turn on completely as Marcus and the three dancers start kicking the water around liberally, although fully choreographed and in time to the music. When the instrumental ceases, the lights stay on, and the dancers move towards the back of the stage, as Marcus sings his solo at the front. He now looks very wet and sexy.

Together, with you, baby,
We could make it work, you will see.
But I don't know if you, baby,
If you want to be with me.

It's not a cliché love song,
We can make it work, baby.
I love you so much.
But do you love me, baby?

Again, the dancers start kicking the water around.

Do you love me, baby?

Do you love me, baby?

I love you so hard.
But do you love me, baby?

Everyone bar Marcus stares at the floor and sings the backing section, as Marcus continues to dance in the water.

(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
(Baby, do you love?)
(Do you love?)
I love you so hard...
(Baby, do you love?)

The dancers now join in with Marcus in splashing the water around.

I think you might just be the one,
I need you, babe,
I think that you are just the one,
I want you, babe,
I think you might just be the one,
I need you, babe,
I think that you are just the one,
I want you, babe,
I think you might just be the one...

Everybody stops. Marcus is in a solitary spotlight, and stares down the camera lens as he sings the end of the song.

And I need you now, baby:
You and I have just begun.
And I need you with me here
'Cause I need someone right now.

You and I, together,
We can make it, baby, baby
I love you so hard.
But do you love me, baby? (Baby... baby... baby...)

The lights go out, and Marcus thanks the audience, before walking off the stage.

25. Chanée & N'Evergreen - "In A Moment Like This"

Rick wanted to make a statement, and following another non-win in WV36, had converted to Gregoryisgodistanism. He wanted to make history, so sent the longest WorldVision entry ever.

Song number one started.

You are my God,
You are my God,
Tell me where you are.

I know something's wrong,
I can tell when you cry,
I can help you execute.

Since I converted,
There's been no contact.
I don't know why,
And it's breaking my heart.

Am I Greg or am I X?

Can I worship you forever through this?
Can I trust in you forever through this?
I don't know how to bow
How to bow
These Gregory-men,
The God of us all,
The God of us all
Oh-woah, oh-woah.

Tell me, where are you now?
Why don't you speak?
You smell like anger and fire.

Come on, answer my prayers,
Say something,
Why aren't you killing us?
Or say it's in my head.

Can I worship you forever through this?
Can I trust in you forever through this?
I don't know how to bow
How to bow
These Gregory-men,
The God of us all,
The God of us all
Oh-woah, oh-woah.

I don't want to die
I just want to hear your voice
If you are real,
I don't want to die
Die from non-worship,
And be lost, yeah, yeah, yeah!!!

Can I worship you forever through this? (Oh no no no, oh no no no)
Can I trust in you forever through this?
These Gregory-men, (I don't know)
The God of us all, (I don't know)
The God of us all (I don't know)
The God of us all
Oh-woah, oh-woah.

Song number two starts.

They are communists
They're bloody communists
Taxers, liars, cheaters, scoundrels,
I don't like them any more
They are communists
They're bloody communists
Taxers, liars, cheaters, scoundrels,
I don't like them any more

They are communists
They're bloody communists
When they die everyone will,
Everyone will be celebrating.
There's no money left to be spent
The communists have only gone and spent it all
Inflation's at 100%
Quantitative easing, it doesn't work!

They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
They will suffer at our hands
'Cause Greg and I will smash them to pieces
They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
In your budgets your deficits are huge
And one day you will hit recession

They are communists
They're bloody communists
And when they die, they won't be missed
By me, nor everyone
Ow, my wallet's being snatched
Because they're communists, that makes it a match
Ow, my money's going away
My money's in their pockets, it's a bloody disgrace

They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
They will suffer at our hands
'Cause Greg and I will smash them to pieces
They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
In your budgets your deficits are huge
And one day you will hit recession
And one day you will hit recession
WOOOOOOOAH

They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
They will suffer at our hands
'Cause Greg and I will smash them to pieces
They are communists, woah, woah, woah
They're bloody communists, woah, woah, woah
In your budgets your deficits are huge
And one day you will hit...

RECESSION!!!!

Song number three starts.

Greg, you're
You're a god, yeah
And I will love you
Yeah, yeah

And though I cannot see you
I know you'll be there

Because Greg is my God
I'll never leave him
Though we are far apart
I'm one of his
My God is always Greg
I feel him wake each morn'.
Every day
Every night
Gregory

He'll say I have to kill you
I'll follow him at night
I think that he's beautiful
He smashes communists

Because Greg is my God
I'll never leave him
Though we are far apart
I'm one of his
My God is always Greg
I feel him wake each morn'.
Every day
Every night
Gregory...

Because Greg is my God
I'll never leave him
Though we are far apart
I'm one of his
My God is always Greg
I feel him wake each morn'.
Every day
Every night
Gregory...

Song number four starts.

Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism

You've been taxed 100%, baby
And they spent it all
On new emails
Never withdraw your savings
They'll tax that too
Give them up!

I don't believe any more their promises
Know that it's them who taxed all your income
Never blame Maggie, not for anything
Now we are left with nothing!

Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism

There's no money left, commies, yeah,
You spent it all on emails, baby
Gregory will smash you all, yeah
He knows your lying nature
There's no money left, commies, yeah,
You spent it all on emails, baby
Gregory will smash you all, yeah
He knows your lying nature

Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism
Oh, forget
Forget tax
And don't spend
Just turn to Thatcherism

Song number five starts. We're not even 20% of the way through.

Commies change everything
Even the taxes have changed
The spending is reckless
And the taxing is stupid

Gregory remembers everything
The summer, the winters, the cold
I wonder how he feels
Of these Commies tonight?

Why, if some day, He sees me,
Why, if some day, He spots me in the crowd,
Won't he smash these commies?
Why, if some day, He says my name out loud.

Smash them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then you
Will set fire to them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then we
Will be better with Maggie

They've changed everything
There are no schools any more
I wonder how we feel
When we can't speak or write?

Why, if some day, He sees me,
Why, if some day, He spots me in the crowd,
Won't he smash these commies?
Why, if some day, He says my name out loud.

Smash them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then you
Will set fire to them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then we
Will be better with

MAGGIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Smash them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then you
Will set fire to them
Smash those Commie bastards
Smash those Communist wankers
Look into their eyes and nut them then we
Will be better with Maggie!!!

Song six...

Say another word
And he will kill you all
And Communism will die
Only Greggy will remain
And it seems to me
Thatcherism is the way
These days

This is the time to smash those idiots
Off our planet
Off our world
Commies will die, yeah, holding hands
They'll share everything
Even their own death

Commies are all around
But if we smash them together
We can bring the sickle down
For everything
For everyone
We can remove their stain
And make everything OK

This is the time to smash those idiots
Off our planet
Off our world
Commies will die, yeah, holding hands
They'll share everything
Even their own death

This is the time to smash those idiots
Off our planet
Off our world
Commies will die, yeah, holding hands
They'll share everything
Even their own death

In a Commie world
They'll tax
Everything
Just not living
Oh wait...

Say another word
And he will kill you all
And Communism will die

Song number seven.

People always say
That Communism goes too far
But they're not going to chase their dreams, just
Taxes and spending

And no one will ever know
Their thought process
Because all of the lies they come up with are
Nothing more than that

So maybe they could get a proper God
Who'll tell them what to do, there's so much more to life
Tell them that they got it wrong
Tell them Thatcherism is the way
Before she falls
Tell them they will die
Tell them Thatcherism is key
When darkness falls
All of the starts
Will see
Maggie and Gregory

Oh, oh

Sure, they'll disobey
Cause they think Greg doesn't exist
And even a world of Thatcherism doesn't
Let people think of that

So maybe they could get a proper God
Who'll tell them what to do, there's so much more to life, no
Tell them that they got it wrong
Tell them Thatcherism is the way
Before she falls, no, no
Tell them they will die
Tell them Thatcherism is key
When darkness falls
All of the starts
Will see
Maggie and Gregory

Maggie and Gregory

Song eight starts immediately.

Please love me, too, baby

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey

Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, Gregory, ay-ye-ay-ye-ay-ye-ay...

Oh, Gregory, I love you, it's not fair, it's not fair
Come down here
And marry me
Gregory, I want your babies
Me and you, we'll do it
Every time, yeah
Come down here
And marry me
Gregory, I want your babies
Yeah!!

Song number nine starts.

I know you're up there, Greg, you're
In my soul
But you're so helpful, Greg, I,
I love you
Gregory, I love you,
You're my god

And you are God
And you are God
Yes, you are God

Gregory, you're my God,
Sitting way up high,
Up high, heaven must be
Missing an angel
I believe that Gregory is God
And he will love me
Hopefully, just wait for me,
And I'll be there.

And if I need a miracle, who do I turn to?
And if you need a miracle, destroy Commies.
And if I need a miracle, who do I turn to?

And you are God
And you are God
Yes, you are God

Gregory, you're my God,
Sitting way up high,
Up high, heaven must be
Missing an angel (an angel, an angel)
I believe that Gregory is God
And he will love me
Hopefully, just wait for me,
And I'll be...

Gregory, you're my God (my God!),
Sitting way up high,
Up high, heaven must be
Missing an angel (an angel, an angel)
I believe that Gregory is God
And he will love me
Hopefully, just wait for me,
And I'll
Be, yes, I'll be
There.

Song number 10...

Look into my God
Look up to my God
Believe in his magic

Though you're afraid,
Obey him and
He'll love you.

Gregory will haunt you,
When Commies come knocking.
So turn to Thatcherism
Right now

When I pray,
It's for Gregory
When I pray,
It's for the God of Greggy,
When he kills like there's no tomorrow,
Commies must die,
He is Gregory.

Look into my God
Look up to my God
Believe in his magic

Though you're afraid,
Obey him and
He'll love you.

Gregory will haunt you,
When Commies come knocking.
So turn to Thatcherism
Right now

When I pray,
It's for Gregory
When I pray,
It's for the God of Greggy,
When he kills like there's no tomorrow,
Commies must die,

Gregory haunts you,
When Commies come knocking.
So turn to Thatcherism
Right now!!!!!!

When I pray,
It's for Gregory
When I pray,
It's for the God of Greggy,
When he kills like there's no tomorrow,
Commies must die,
He is Gregory!!!
He is Gregory!!!
He is Gregory!!!

Song 11...

Greg is God, yeah,
Greg is God, yeah,
Communists are idiots!

GREGORY!

Song number 12 starts.

How do I begin to imagine
Just how horrible Communism is?
The only solution
Is Thatcher, Thatcherism.
If I could change the world today!

So I wonder, "who can I turn to
Who can make these wishes and dreams come true?"
And with Gregory beside me,
And loving hands to guide me,
Anything is possible to do! (Woah, woah, yeah!)

So if

You bring the big knives,
I'll bring the good guns!
Just add Thatcher and it's
Happy ever after!
I don't know about you but
That sounds good to me!

I can feel them being destroyed now,
All the Commies getting their just desserts.
There's nothing left to do now,
So marry those two now,
And we can let the future write itself! (Woah, woah, yeah!)

You bring the big knives,
I'll bring the good guns!
Just add Thatcher and it's
Happy ever after!
I don't know about you but
That sounds good to me!

Woah, woah-oh, woah!!!

(You bring the big knives,)
(I'll bring the good guns!)
Just add Thatcher and it's
Happy ever after!
I don't know about you but
That sounds good to me!

They'll get married right now, yeah,
Maggie and Gregory!

Maggie and Gregory!

That was a super excerpt, thought Rick. Next is song 13.

You can never turn around and go back home.
You can never return to Communism.
You can never remember hyperinflation.

You can't go back to before
'Cause tomorrow, you'll get some more

Money, it's what makes the world go 'round.
When it's cold,
Your extra money gives you more energy!
Money!
Money!
Like what Thatcher wanted!
Wipe the Commies off the planet,
And spend money!

So when they stand for election,
Vote for everyone else.
It's First Past The Post so they won't win.

Don't be afraid, Thatcher's the best!
You won't find any less

Money, it's what makes the world go 'round.
When it's cold,
Your extra money gives you more energy!
Money!
Money!
Like what Thatcher wanted!
Wipe the Commies off the planet,
And spend money...

You can't go back to before
'Cause tomorrow, you'll get some MOREEEEEEEEEE

(Money, it's what makes the world go 'round.)
Brrrrrrr, when it's cold,
Your extra money gives you more energy!
Money!
Money!
Like what Thatcher wanted!

Get some money!!!

Song 14 is up next.

You could be the God in my dreams
You could be the one that I need
Everything I've wanted in life,
Do you understand what I need?
I could see that Gregory is right,
I can love you more than they hate.
Doesn't matter who they will blame,
Exterminate them at their own game.

I can see it in your eyes,
It doesn't come as a surprise,
I know that you hate Communists,
No matter how loving they are.

For if we kill
Communists, yeah,
Don't even know their names,
For just one night,
We could be the same,
Me and Gregory!

You could be the God in my dreams
You could be the one that I need
Everything I've wanted in life,
Do you understand what I need?
I could see that Gregory is right,
I can love you more than they hate.
Doesn't matter who they will blame,
Exterminate them at their own game.

I can see it in your eyes,
It doesn't come as a surprise,
I know that you hate Communists,
No matter how loving they are.

For if we kill
Communists, yeah,
Don't even know their names,
For just one night,
We could be the same,
Me and Gregory!

For if we kill
Communists, yeah,
Don't even know their names,
For just one night,
We could be the same,
Me and Gregory!

Me and Gregory!

We could be the same,
Me and Gregory!

As the audience start to fall asleep, song 15 starts.

You are the one
You are the God that I need
So please, smash them

You are the one
Who will kill Communists
It's easy to do it

They must die
Don't you know that they must die, I can feel it
Even now
Time that they killed themselves, though,
And burned them

Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
The rest of the world
Don't understand you
Smash them, Gregory
Everything you will need
Is in Maggie Thatcher's toolbox, baby
It's all in the way
That you
Burn them
You'll drive them crazy
Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
You are my God
And you are amazing

I am the one
Who'll help you destroy all them, I'll
Smash them

I am the one
Who's been destroyed by Commies
Previously

They must die
Don't you know that they must die, I can feel it
Even now
Time that they killed themselves, though,
And burned them
And burned them

Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
The rest of the world
Don't understand you
Smash them, Gregory
Everything you will need
Is in Maggie Thatcher's toolbox, baby
It's all in the way
That you
Burn them
You'll drive them crazy
Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
You are my God
And you are amazing

I'm never alone
'Cause I have Greggy.
Whenever he goes,
I totally miss him
No, no, he'll always come back
He will always come back
Even if I have to wait
10 years!

Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
The rest of the world
Don't understand you
Smash them, Gregory
Everything you will need
Is in Maggie Thatcher's toolbox, baby
It's all in the way
That you
Burn them
You'll drive them crazy
Smash them, Gregory
And you'll just burn them
You are my God
And you are amazing
Smash them, Gregory.

Song 16...

I
Am standing strong
I've made the conversion
In my life

Now
I look up and see
Lord Almighty Gregory
And he's reflecting in the skies

GREG-O-R-EEEEE!
I know that you are just the best god
GREG-O-R-EEEEE! OH-OH!
And nobody else is better
And when I see your face
I want to just thump Communists, yeah
GREG-O-R-EEEEE!! EE-EE!!

When
The clouds are gone
I see your face in the skies
Shining

Oh
What I'll see are your eyes
Our ideologies together
Tell me, do you hate commies too?

GREG-O-R-EEEEE!
I know that you are just the best god
GREG-O-R-EEEEE! OH-OH!
And nobody else is better
And when I see your face
I want to just thump Communists, yeah
GREG-O-R-EEEEE!! EE-EE!!

I just love you, Gregory, yeah-oh
It's like your my God all my life

GREG-O-R-EEEEE!

GREG-O-R-EEEEE!
I know that you are just the best god
GREG-O-R-EEEEE! OH-OH!
And nobody else is better
And when I see your face
I want to just thump Communists, yeah
GREG-O-R-EEEEE!! EE-EE!!

Now, song 17...

Oh
Gregory
What have you done?
Why, why haven't Commies died?
Because they're evil and must die

Oh
Gregory
Why do you love
Commies
Must you go on loving
For all of the time

The message is so true
Their end is really near
All these Commies
Stop them now
They must
They must
They must be killed

Yes, the message is so real
The commies, they,
They have to die
Because
Because
Because
They tax us, yeah

Oh
Gregory
What about Mrs Thatcher?
Keep her alive
Keep her alive
She is fabulous

Oh
Gregory
Start killing now
Those commies, now,
Do it now, they need to die

The message is so true
Their end is really near
All these Commies
Stop them now
They must
They must be killed

Yes, the message is so real
The commies, they,
They have to die
Because
Because
Because
They tax us,

YEAH!!!

THEY TAX US, YEAH!!!

The audience file out for some hot dogs round the back as song 18 starts.

Gregory, Gregory
Yeah, you are Gregory
So you are Gregory
And you are Gregory
Gregory, Gregory,
Have breakfast with me
You are my Gregory
And kill those commun-ies!

Gregory, Gregory
Yeah, you are Gregory
So you are Gregory
And you are Gregory

Have breakfast with me
You are my Gregory
And kill those commun-ies!

Song 19.

Greg, Greg, Greg,
Can't you see
Why you must kill them
Tonight?

Why, why, why
Do they tax?
You should start a kill
Tonight

They could always try to stop
Ugh, commies, till you drop
If we get together now,
We'll kill commies now!

M and G,
Can't you see
We're killing communists?
Tell me now,
Do you feel
Their voices crying out?
Don't stop,
They must drop,
And I will climb higher,
I want to go
To heaven

Am I killing enouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh?
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah

M, M, M
Maggie T,
Will you help Greg and me
Tonight?

Die, die, die,
They must die (ah-ha)
I am here to kill,
Alright?

They could always try to stop
Ugh, commies, till you drop
If we get together now,
We'll kill commies now!

M and G,
Can't you see
We're killing communists?
Tell me now,
Do you feel
Their voices crying out?
Don't stop,
They must drop,
And I will climb higher,
I want to go
To heaven

Am I killing enouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh?
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

M and G,
Can't you see
We're killing communists?
Tell me now,
Do you feel
Their voices crying out?
Don't stop,
They must drop,
And I will climb higher,
I want to go
To heaven
(Am I killing enouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh?)
M and G,
Can't you see
We're killing communists?
Tell me now,
Do you feel
Their voices crying out?
Don't stop,
They must drop,
And I will climb higher,
I want to go
To heaven

Am I killing enouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh?
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah
Woo-oo-woo-oo-oo
Ah

If we get together now,
We'll kill commies now!

Song number 20.

Would you believe
That we will die
At the hands of them,
Oh, yeah

I will burn them now
'Cause we have to forget now
All of those taxes
And non-workers

Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Now that is why I say
Greg is non-merciful
And I hope he will reward me
Oh yes

(What I do, man?)
Yes, I'm killing Mr Kinnock
What should I do with him?
(Throw him in the fire)
Oh yes
Yes, I'm going to burn him now
'Cause we have to forget now
All of those taxes
And non-workers

Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Now that is why I say
Greg is non-merciful
And I hope he will reward me
Oh......

Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Here they are,
Burnt and communist
Now that is why I say
Lord is non-merciful
And I hope he will reward me
Or bring Him to me.

Song 21.

Many, many, years ago,
She was a little child
And she told us we should know
Communists are cruel and wild
But to find a better solution
Thatcherism's what you need

I believe her every word
More than anything I've heard
But I am too scared to go back now
Can't go back to Communists
And she gave us free markets
Maggie T is someone we all need

Thatcherism
Here, it's in my hand:
Extra untaxed income
From Mrs T

Thatcherism
Money's everywhere
From the hallowed ground
I just want high interest rates

Thatcherism
Here, it's in my hand:
Extra untaxed income
From Mrs T

Thatcherism

Foot and Kinnock came along
Thatcher bashed them at the polls
But of course, they're Communists
They're not democratic at all
Now we're not afraid of money
Lower tax
It's what we need

"May the taxes take it away
From your wallets, night and day",
They will tax you every single day (every day)
Throw your money down the drain,
And leave it tonight,
We need to go back to Maggie T.

Thatcherism
Here, it's in my hand:
Extra untaxed income
From Mrs T

Thatcherism
Money's everywhere
From the hallowed ground
I just want high
Interest
Rates

Ooooooooooo

Thatcherism (Thatcherism!)
Here, it's in my hand: (Here, it's, here, it's, in my hand)
Extra untaxed income (Extra, extra, untaxed income)
From Mrs T (From Mrs T!)

Thatcherism (Thatcherism!)
Here, it's in my hand: (Here, it's, here, it's, in my hand)
Extra untaxed income (Extra, extra, untaxed income)
From Mrs T (From Mrs T!)

Thatcherism!

Song 22 starts.

I killed everyone for you,
I even worshipped you, for you,
I wore blue underwear for you,
'Cause red's for Communists.

I love you, and I'll fight with you
I'll even kill myself for you
Even if I can eat gruel
I'm going to love you either way!

Greg, oh, Greg,
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
'Cause I, oh, I,
Must worship you every day.
Gregory is God,
And he is awesome every day,
And I would fall down into hell, can't go
A minute without worship.

Greg, I got 'em back for you,
I killed all the Commies for you
Because we have to turn them blue
It can't be any other way!

Greg, my anus will want you
I need legislation first with you
'Cause Gregoryisgodistan is good
And so is Missus X!!

Greg, oh, Greg,
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
'Cause I, oh, I,
Must worship you every day.
Gregory is God,
And he is awesome every day,
And I would fall down into hell, can't go
A minute without worship.

Greg, oh, Greg,
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
'Cause I, oh, I,
Must worship you every day.

What you do,
I'll do too,
You set the task,
I'll do it fast, not slow,
I will follow
What you do
Ah, ha, ha

I love you
You love me
A force more powerful than gravity
Is Gregory
There's no escape

Greg, my anus will want you
I need legislation first with you
'Cause Gregoryisgodistan is good
And so is Missus X!!

Greg, oh, Greg,
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
'Cause I, oh, I,
Must worship you every day.
Gregory is God,
And he is awesome every day,
And I would fall down into hell, can't go
A minute without worship.

Greg, oh, Greg,
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
'Cause I, oh, I,
Must worship you every day.

La, la la
La
La
La
LA!!

Song 23.

Gregory is God
And he is the best
And we must all love him
Otherwise he will kill
Us and we need
To die if we don't
Love him tonight
Or we will die tonight!

And we are good
We follow Gregory
And we are in love with him
Because he's awesome
I'm not bored of him
'Cause Gregory is awesome
And I need to love him now
Please, Gregory!
I love you!!

Gregory is God
And he is the best
And we must all love him
Otherwise he will kill
Us and we need
To die if we don't
Love him tonight
Or we will die tonight!

And we are good
We follow Gregory
And we are in love with him
Because he's awesome
I'm not bored of him
'Cause Gregory is awesome
And I need to love him now
Please, Gregory!
I love you!!

I love you!!

Sit on me
Go to bed
And we will be
Together
And I love YOUUUUUUUUU!!!

I'm not bored of him
'Cause Gregory is awesome
And I need to love him now
Please, Gregory!
I love you!!

Song number 24. It's nearly done.

He's the one for you
And I need you for me too
I love you, Gregory,
But there's one I love more

And she's not God, but she should be
So I love her more than you will know
And I have to love her, she is good
And I love her

She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
And she's Mrs Thatcher

She needs to be indoctrinated
Cause she's awesome
And I love her
With every breath I take

She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
And she's Mrs Thatcher

She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
And she's Mrs Thatcher

Oh yeah, yeah
Everyone loves her
Everybody
Everyone loves her
And no one likes her more
Than Denis and myself
And don't forget

GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG!
GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG!

She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
And she's

Mrs Thatcher!

(She's Mrs Thatcher)
(She's Mrs Thatcher)
(She's Mrs Thatcher)
(She's Mrs Thatcher)
She's Mrs Thatcher
She's Mrs Thatcher
And she's.....

Mrs Thatcher.

The final song starts.

For as long as I remember
Communists are bad
Every day since '78
Callaghan is crap

Didn't need the time to cry
'Cause he doesn't deserve it
What am I supposed to do
But kill them
It's what I'm meant to do

I must kill them
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
Woah
I must kill them
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
Woah
I must kill them

Ever since Mrs Thatcher
My life is more prosperous
And no, I wasn't rich
She made me so
I love her so

I must kill them
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
How to do, how to do, how to do, how to do it, ooh
Woah
I must kill them

But I can't do it on my own, please
Say you'll help me but never leave me,
I need you, Gregory, for me....

And it's finally over.

Commentary with Prayan Shresta

Hello! Prayan Shresta here talking to you live from Regica in the beautiful city of Ë-Mieszkóm. Welcome to a night which is sure to be full of the charming, the sublime and the downright outrageous! The boys and girls of Kadam are performing eighth for Chameliya and we wish them the very best in this, the multiverse's biggest music competition. That's right, it's the WorldVision Song Contest 37!

Opening Act - Smile/Smiéch

A departure from the dance anthems that we have grown accustomed to opening the WorldVision but an excellent effort nonetheless. I strong message of peace and unity which really is what the WorldVision is all about. Well done Regica, and thanks for the namedrop as well!

01 Kasanova-Koratica - Euphorbia

I can't help but feel sorry for all the backstage crew who have to shift all those plants around! The song itself; it's certainly a catchy tune but I found the choice of subject a little distracting. Still, if you want Kasanova-Koratica to win tonight, call 25528504-01.

02 The Sword Bloke - Shop Owner Is King

Another bizarre entry. I get the feeling that was really aimed at the Swordean fans. Whether that'll pay off when we get to voting, we will have to wait and see. However, if you enjoyed Shop Owner Is King, then call 25528504-02.

03 Brittanny - Capitalists

Well, that was quite political! I must say that it isn't very diplomatic of them to be burning flags. Well I guess Mister X won't be giving them any points tonight! But if you at home do, then call 25528504-03.

04 INSERT USERNAMES HERE - 5 Years

That was quite a haunting song. Not sure that the touching up was completely necessary though, this is meant to be a family entertainment show. If you enjoyed that, then call 25528504-04.

05 Talvezout - Lights

Now that was quite good for a change! I think whoever choreographed the staging here really does deserve a round of applause, they've really used the lighting well which I guess is appropriate considering the song name. If Talvezout tickles your fancy, then call 25528504-05.

06 Al Balansiyya - Iyset Miħlub (I Will Carry On Dreaming)

Another impressive entry from Kis... Al-Balansiyya! The energy of that was just infectious. I expect that that'll deliver a satisfying result for their debut. If you enjoyed Iyset Miħlub, then call 25528504-06.

07 Ekoz - Remember Me

Another in a run of strong entries from Ekoz. The staging was done beautifully and really added to the performance. This is a contender I think. If you want Ekoz to win, then call 25528504-07.

Be warned: I do not mean to insult anyone, it's up to you what your song is about, don't take the commentary seriously please.

DTV - WORLDVISION #37 COMMENTARY- COMMENTARIO VISÃO DO MUNDO 37
Image

Igor: Hello and welcome to Worldvsion #37, being held in Ë-Mieszkóm, Regica! We're here with Josh and Jose to commentate over this year's Worldvision!
Josh: Yep, we've got tons of nations, i mean... 54 of them! And we're one for the first time ever! We're debutants! We've picked up intrest since #36 and we finally joined! Do you think that we can do well in our debutant year? Then text #takingregicabystorm in our Worldvision page!
Now let's get to the songs!

Opening Song
Jose: It's very creepy...
Igor: The fact that it's in another language makes me wonder if we should try a song in our national language.
Jose: You know that nobody understands Portuguese, if we were in Portuguese only, bam! Nil points!
Igor: Por amor de- (For the love of-) Next song!

01 - Kasanova-Koratica
Jose: Take notes kids! A euphorbia is a type of plant.
Igor: It's a beautiful song, and i'ts upbeat too.
Josh: What is with her and plants?
Jose: Oh shutup Josh, it's not like you sing about random things aswell.
*Laughter breaks out in the commentary box*

02 - The Sword Bloke
Jose: What... What is this? I don't like when people are like this
Igor: How on earth did this go through- What were they thinking?
Josh: Don't be so rude. They could do well.
Igor: You're right. I'm gonna lose my job over this. And also, i'd call him fat no matter what.
Jose: Be carefull in what you say, he's got a gun to your head. *starts laughing* Why do we laugh every time?

03 - Brittanny
Igor: Politics there, politics there, why is there so many songs like these?
Jose: It really doesn't matter... Just roll with it
Josh: I didn't get it...

04 - INSERT USERNAMES HERE
Igor: That pronunciation though.
Jose: Maybe that's why she's acting, trying to prove the world that she is brave. Bravo!
Josh: It still is a pretty good song though, even with all the sass and everything.
Igor: Next song, hurry!

05- Talvezout
Josh: It's very groovy, and it's something you could hear in a disco no problem!
Igor: I agree with that and it's better than the last song.
Jose: There's only one fault, it's too long and it'll bore you, in a disco is much better, but we can all agree it's good.

06 - Al-Balansiyya
Igor: Wonderfull song! That could go really far.
Josh: I admit that I like it, it sends a good message.
Igor: Ditto.
Jose: It's pretty unique and nice.

07 - Ekoz
Igor: Love songs are not my taste, and it's creepy, so it's everything but my taste.
Jose: Oh come on, it's a good love story!
Josh: The whistling hurt my ears!
Igor: But i'll tell you, it's a well made song, you have to give them props for that.

08 - Chameliya
Igor: Very creepy...
Jose: I agree on that
Josh: It could do very well.
09 - Bloodbath Generation

10 - Izmedu
Igor: Nice.
Josh: Did they say something that sounded like Salad? Are they hungry?
Jose: Josh. They said Sklad. not Salad.

11 - Dennis Bergkamp
Igor: Ah! Football spirit, saying what football team you support quite says alot.
Josh: I know you support Sporting CP. But what does Football have to do about it?
Jose: It's all in the name of the song, it's just banter... Biased to support Arsenal. And facing the facts, Chelsea is first right now and Arsenal is 3rd.
Igor: You've gone overboard with the facts haven't you?
Jose: I guess.

12 - Elejamie
Igor: Oh boy, more love songs...
Jose: Come on... It contains a nice meaning and a wonderful song.
Josh: I find it akward.

13 - Vampirium

14 - Normandy & Picardy
Igor: It's amazing and it definitely deserves points.
Jose: It should be more violent.
Josh: Oh god... Just no.
Jose: What? It's still a good effort. It's better than some.

15 - Free Republics
Igor: Oh boy... Statements how great. I give it a 12 points for all the hell i care. *Said sarcastically*
Jose: It was a statement, but it's a dejavu, nothing out of normal... And still, the swearing makes innapropriate for the kids. Think about it!
Josh: The swearing makes it hilarious, yes! It's a 12 points from me, express your rage! Great bravo!

16 - Taxachusetts

17 - Yttribia

18 - Luziyca
Josh: "Lost Dreams" "My Dream" Alright i think some-one has been stealing dreams
*Laughter spreads through the commentary box*
Jose: The swearing... Stop it guys
Igor: I see no problem in swearing.

19 - Gregoryisgodistan
Jose: What was that? that was awful, it'll get joint nil with Free republics
Igor: Wow... Amazing... just joking, What the hell was that?
Josh: I give it a 10/10 for the fire! I tried to roast some marshmallows with that fire... and it works!
Igor: Yeah but it was deadly close to us, but screw it, i tried marshmallows aswell.

20 - Gregory Llama Land
Jose: What on earth? This is getting awful.
Igor: I am speechless. Kurt Busch anyone?
Josh: I admit it's catchy.

21 - Electrum
Jose: Finally a good song after that barricade of awfulness.
Igor: I have to admit it's really good.
Josh: Watch your step, there's probably still some fires from the Gregoryisgodstan song, which was awful.

22 - Electrum Diplomatic Offices
Igor: I quite like this song
Jose: I don't like the message of this song...
Jose: And also, it's begging for votes at the end...

23 - Polkopia
Jose: Credits where credits due, it's quite nice.
Igor: I expect this in the top 5.
Josh: It's nice to hear something else than destruction and fire and all of that, but the swearing was nice, anyway, about the song it's a masterpiece!

24 - Silkjd
Josh: Great song!
Jose: It's good, but i think it's not gonna do very well.
Igor: I'd rather not comment.

25 - Dreamplanet
Igor: There's our song
Jose: I expect quite abit of this song, maybe a top 10.
Josh: I agree, let's do well! But it's a even contest, we could end up flopping!
Igor: Don't be so scared
Josh: I'm not!
Jose: *Sigh* Alot of people will find the lyrics a bit long.

26 - Mister X
Igor: "Not a cliche love song" Yes it is.
Jose: I didn't find it cliched.
Josh: I found it like any other love song, fight over it if you want

27 - Missus X
Jose: We have beautifull songs, and now we're going back to shit.
Igor: Don't say that! But that i think that the politic songs are back i think so.
Josh: *Whispers to Igor* I think jose's lost it.
Jose: It's way too long, it's going to join the nil group...
Igor: With all of those songs it would be great for a national final.

28 - Wazekia
Josh: The do do do do is stuck in my mind.
Jose: I find it a good song.

29 - Aloquirbe
Josh: It's another one of those whose lyrics get stuck in your mind.
Jose: It's a beautifull song
Igor: I hate to agree on you but i do.

30 - Zapadni
Igor:I Think she's being pushed too far with this peformance.
Josh: I agree with that.
Jose: Credits where credits due. It is a beautiful song and well made, but i don't get the subject
Igor: Poor girl, i feel like she wanted to say something at the end, but bravo.

31 - Lymantatia
Igor: Well, for the first time some-one made their title in their native language and sings in English.
Jose: Aww... I wanted to see some-one speak in a native language.
Josh: Oh well, it's a great song!

32 - Gaciadia
Igor: The first few set of Lyrics remind me of a certain game.
Jose: Great song! That's really all i can say.

33 - Russadonia
Jose: This song is the dirtiest song i've heard all day.
Josh: I'm fine with it.
Igor: I wonder what Anna would say about this song.
Jose: Anna? I thought she quit before WV37 even started
Igor: Yeah she was meant to be here.
Igor: Anyway, this song is quite decent, the odds must be in favor of this song.
Josh: But don't get too far with the odds.

34 - Saturneaux
Jose: When you thought Worldvision couldn't get any more random there's this entry.
Josh: It kinda looks out of place in today's musical tastes..
Igor: 90s kid could easily vote for this, so let's see...

35 - Todlichebujoku
Jose: Bravo, Bravo! Bravo! It was fantastic
Igor: I expect this to go very far!
Josh: Was i the only one that noticed the Vagina Lotus Flower?
Jose: It's the symbol, don't make fun of it.
Igor: Too late, it's gone viral.

36 - Regica
Jose: Bravo Hosts! They might get some extra points for being on home ground.
Igor: Another one that sings in their native language, but from the translation, i can agree with you, it's good!
Josh: I think the odds are in Regica's Favor.

37 - Titaniumland
Jose: Again! With the begging for votes...
Igor: I found it a bit good, the fact of randomly throwing in lyrics in another language is the thing that brought it down...
Josh: But hey, it might be a dark horse.
Jose: He means it might do well.

38 - Glitzenbourg
Igor: It sends the exact same message as us, anti-bullying, hope!
Jose: It might just do as good as us.
Josh: Do you mean last place? This song dosen't deserve last.

39 - Praciba
Jose: Strippers, Sexual Innuendos, this dosen't belong here.
Igor: Being all sexual won't give you votes Praciba.
Josh: Well, from some it might.

40 - Alinghi Federal-Democratic Republic
Igor: We don't need to switch to advertisement because this is already Advertisement
Josh: I guess there was a mixup

41 - Teague
Igor: Bravo! But it's a love song.
Jose: You always hate love songs don't you? Give it some credit.

Igor:Anyway, after all these songs, call 198731412- and the next 2 numbers are of the song you want, for example: 198731412-24. But unfortunally you cannot vote for your own country, and for landlines call 420871421- then the numbers of the song.
Josh: In the internet, this "Lotus Vagina flower" is really trending.
Jose: It's like if it became a WorldVision meme.

TRT 2 - WORLDVISION #37 COMMENTARY
Image
D-V-B-P-VU-H-VO-M
Commnetary shall be provided for you this evening by our lovely trio of Florence Arc, Nick Butler, and Michael Burns.

21 - Electrum
Florence: This a lot like our debut entry, but better.
Nick: It's definitely a bit of a departure from their previous entries. I freaking love it for that.
Michael: I really don't think there's anything bad with this one. It's pretty good.

22 - Electrum Diplomatic Offices
Florence: This is funny, my god, it's beautiful.
Michael: Eh, no. They can't sing for their lives.
Nick: Don't be negative Michael. That was pretty funny.

23 - Polkopia
Florence: Well, it's not that bad.
Michael: I don't know. Something feels a bit lacking.
Nick: I can see where Michael's getting from. It's a good song, no doubt about it, but it feels kinda... lacking I guess.

24 - Silkjd
(OOC: Darn it, I was planning to use Skinny Love as well...)
Florence: A song with a piano, a solo artist, and it's about breakup.
Michael: Not that's it's a bad combo.
Florence: Agreed. Props to Silkjd for the great debut.

25 - Dreamplanet
Florence: People don't like this for some reason.
Michael: I normally don't like songs changing genres, but damn this was great.
Florence: Two great debuts entries in a row, Silkjd and Dreamplanet.

26 - Mister X
Florence: Before I forget, Nick got too sloshed so he's taking a break from commentating right now.
(Nick can be heard yelling something about bread and Michael offscreen)
Michael: Yep, he's pissed.
Florence: Drunk or mad?
Michael: Both. Anyway, the song's not too shabby.
Florence: It's pretty good. Nice job Mister X.

27 - Missus X
Florence: Well, uh, props for originality.
Michael: I really would like to know what possessed the Missus X delegation to send this.
Florence: Politics aside, it's not that bad of a song.

28 - Wazekia
Michael: Alright, rock with a message. I get it.
Florence: It's got a good hook and it's really well sung. Kudos to Wazekia for that.

29 - Aloquirbe
(Off-camera, Nick can be heard mumbling something; yelling and then fighting break out in the commentary box)

30 - Zapandi
Florecne: Well, Michael is recovering from something that just happened, I don't know what happened though. Songwise, this is a pretty good debut for the nation. Good harmonizing, and good lyrics. So, bravo for Zapandi.

31 - Lymantatia
Florence: This is the same nation that entered that really crazy one last year. Talk about a change, and a good one at that. I like the harmonizing and the hopeful lyrics, though some of the lyrics leave something to be desired. Granted we also had bad lyrics this year, so who am I to judge?

32 - Glaciadia
Florence: So, it's one of those "Let's change the world" songs. Not that bad of a song though. Also, nice use of the laterns.

33 - Russadonia
Florence: Oh myyyy....

34 - Saturneaux
Florence: Well, that was definitely something. It has catchy music, that's certain, but the lyrics... are kinda creepy. "My mom says to study hard,/But, I know, I want to go to the candy store/That’s where we’ll be, begging for more/This is my imagination." Yikes.

35 - Tödlichebojuku
Florence: So, we've got something that's a bit different from their usual entries. I do enjoy the sort of forest feel the song had, and the lotus vagina forehead projection ought to inspire a few laughs. Still, a great entry from Tödlichebujoku.

Florence: Now, don't go away, or else Isobella will eat you and write a song about it.

CE: Welcome to WorldVision 37! Bienvenido a WorldVision 37! Yalcom WorldVision 37! Live from...
FT: I'm not going to try.
CE: East Telecom?
FT: Sounds about right.
CE: Wherever it is, welcome to it! I am Cerin Erali!
FT: And I'm Flynn Taggart.
CE: And we're your English language commentators for this evening. For a Spanish commentary, Iyilim language commentary or to sing-along to each entry, please press the red button. Thanks. Para Español, Iyilim o karaoke, pulse botón rojo por favor. Gracias. Aspenol, Iyilim o cereoc - Ancelis o Aspenol, ne Iyilim - plaes toc rad boton. Fenci.
FT: The WorldVision app is up and running, if you want to get some more information on tonight's entries.
CE: And it's also there if you want to vote, but more on that later. Because, seriously, the lines aren't open yet and you'll end up wasting a few pensin. So shall we get to it?
FT: Yes, we should.

Opening Act

CE: A few seconds into the contest and we've already hit the official ETV WorldVision bong. Who could blame us, really? Those postcards seem like they were birthed from Satan himself!
FT: At least the song was good.
CE: That it was. Maybe he should take part next year.

01 - Kasanova-Koratica

CE: I like this. I like this a lot.
FT: Lyrics aren't that great. Not surprising.
CE: But, apart from that, we're off to a great start.

02 - The Sword Bloke

CE: Hey Flynn, I was wondering who would win in a fight between Shop Owner and Lord Almighty Gregory.
FT: Whoever wins, we lose.
CE: Either way, the song wasn't bad, but that's such a waste of good beer. I bet there were a few Elejamians back home and there in the audience having a massive panic attack.

03 - Brittanny

CE: I don't know how they did it, but the pianos sounds really screechy. It's just...
FT: Bad?
CE: Yes, that's right. And the lyrics aren't that good too. Nothing from us. And probably nothing from the folks back home.

04 - INSERT USERNAMES HERE

FT: It isn't the catchiest name in the world.
CE: Nowhere near Bloodbath Generation.
FT: But the song itself? I like it.
CE: Me too. Fifteenth place lowest.

05 - Talvezout

CE: My favourite so far. I don't think anything else needs to be said.
FT: Top ten?
CE: Top five.

06 - Al-Balansiyya

CE: Whatever happened to Kishrael?
FT: Hell if I know. I'm guessing that a load of people were devastated to find out that not only has their country imploded but it imploded roughly the day before the WorldVision.
CE: As for the song itself? I like it. I mean, it's not the best debut, but it's certainly a good reminder of things to come.

07 - Ekoz

CE: I don't know about this one. I know they weren't going to top Alfaans last year.
FT: What's wrong with it?
CE: The lyrics let it down, I don't like how she says "remember" and the whistling is a bit unnecessary. But the question is: Will it do well tonight?
FT: Of course it will. It's Ekoz.

08 - Chameliya

FT: More my sort of music. Not a big fan of the xylophone, though; nearly ruins the song.

09 -Bloodbath Generation

TBA

10 - Izmedu

CE: It's a bit too...
FT: Bombastic?
CE: That's the word.
FT: I agree. Not my cup of tea.
CE: There might be a few people at home who'd vote for it and it'll probably end up doing well tonight. So there's that for them.

11 - Dennis Bergkamp

CE: I don't get it. Why do those things suck?
FT: I don't know. I'm not into football.
CE: Neither am I. Besides, ice hockey's more our thing.
FT: That it is.
CE: Don't get me wrong, the song is alright. But it's just not something I'd get into.

12 - Elejamie

CE: It's the one you all came to see. And Sataeveni killed it out there!
FT: Agreed. Not his best song, but it might do well.
CE: I can't see why he won't. Either way, all we have to do is wait until the final votes are in.

13 - Vampirium

CE: What a return! In fact, I don't see why this shouldn't be in the top 10.

14 - Normandy and Picardy

CE: In WorldVision 36, their entry was so good that I would've boycotted the contest if it didn't make the top 10.
FT: No points for guessing what happened next.
CE: This time around... I don't know. The song is quite good, but not as good as last time round. And it gets weaker towards the end.
FT: Do you think it'll do well tonight?
CE: Probably. Not top 10, but still somewhere around there. At least the keytarist more than makes up for it.

15 - Free Republics

CE: I like this song. I like its message. I like this singer. And I'm pretty sure that God hates what those guys are doing as well.
FT: If there is one.
CE: Yes, if there is one.

16 - Taxachusetts

TBA

17 - Yttribia

TBA

18 - Luziyca

CE: Funk-ay.
FT: Yes, although it does get a bit cynical towards the end.
CE: Your sort of song?
FT: My sort of song.

19 - Gregoryisgodistan

FT: Standard Gregoryisgodistani song.
CE: At least it's nice. Not something you would ever say about Gregoryisgodistan's songs, but there we go. I liked it. It reminded me of a movie I like.
FT: I haven't seen that one yet.
CE: You should, it's good. Not to mention an interesting performance. But more on that in a minute.

20 - Gregory Llama Land

CE: I didn't like it.
FT: I did. I do like country music.
CE: Still, glad to see Gregoryisgodistan and Gregory Llama Land agreeing on one thing. Because Saintland doesn't sound like a good place to live.

28. Wazekia - "Under My Thumb"

Artist: Wasteland
Tune: Link

The Wazek Telecommunications Corporation had decided the song entry for this contest, like they had for WorldVision 36. The WorldVision Committee wanted to move away from the image of the simple and classy act they had sponsored last year and do something completely different. One of the proposed acts had been a little known band called "Wasteland". The song they had written, entitled "Under My Thumb", which was about the destruction of addiction in general, but particularly about addiction to people and toxic relationships. After two rounds of voting on other entries, the committee unanimously decided to make it Wazekia's official entry for the contest in Regica.

Wasteland took the stage, a red light shone down on them from above. The lead singer, Nanosa Pyrit, approached the microphone wearing a tight black dress and flowers in her hair. The other three members of the band wore simple black suits and sunglasses, despite being indoors and the darkness of the area. She looked out to the audience, giving them a sensuous look, before starting to sing.

Do do do do do do x7

Oh, are you so hooked on me;
Did you think that I’m blind?

Do do do do do do x2

I see that look when you appear;
I’m always on your mind.
Do do do do do do

The lights become several rows of light that move back and forth over the band as Nanosa sings the chorus. She grabs the microphone and starts to walk out onto the stage, approaching the edge of the stage.

Your tears upon your tears
Your pain upon your pain
You fool of all the fools
Your shame upon your shame
You’ll be under my thumb
You think that you endear
You think that I am vile
Yet, still I see you here
And all I’ll do is sneer.

She motions out into the audience, addressing them directly. She puts her hand out to touch the people right by the stage before pulling back abruptly.

Do do do do do do x7
You ask what I do it for?
It’s really sort of fun.

Do do do do do do x2

Every little glance I’ll steal,
Will make his heart run.

Do do do do do do

She goes back to the stand where the microphone is and the lights being to move up and down all over the stage again.

Your tears upon your tears,
Rivers that you’ll shed.
You’re mine, oh boy, you’re mine,
‘Til inside you are dead.
You’ll love it’s me you’ll serve,
While hearing all my jeers,
Thinking all the while,
I’ll keep you very dear.
And all I’ll do is sneer.

~ Instrumental ~

You know I want you too (You’ll be underneath my thumb)
You know I’m trying too (You’ll be underneath my thumb)
You know I want you too (You’ll be underneath my thumb)
There’s no swap.

She motions back and forth, then picks up the microphone stand and begins to dance with it.

Your tears upon your tears
Your pain upon your pain
You fool of all the fools
Your shame upon your shame
You’ll be under my thumb
You think that you endear
You think that I am vile
Yet still I see you here
And all I’ll do is sneer.
Your pain upon your pain
You fool of all the fools
I’ll take all you hold dear
While seeing all the tears
And all I’ll do is sneer.

The music begins to slow down and the lights slowly begin to die down.

Do do do do do do x7

You know I want you too
Do do do do do do

You know I’m trying too
Do do do do do do

You know I want you too
Do do do do do do

You know I’m trying too
Do do do do do do

You’ll be underneath my thumb
Do do do do do do

You’ll be underneath my thumb
Do do do do do do

Under my thumb
Do do do do do do

Under my thumb
There’s no swap.
Do do do do do do

The members of Wasteland say thank you to the crowd and to the city of Ë-Mieszkóm, then head off the stage to make room for the next act.

Insidious Cadaver
-By Joseph Kingsley-Hozier

Language: English
Tune: Hozier- Take me church

Image
Joseph Kingsley on his guitar when he was 23 years old in Aloquirbe.

In the song below, you will find out how Joseph Kingsley grew up and meant to be. This song is a sad song because all he wanted was a bit of love from his parents and the people around him, however that right was taken away from him and so he got in to music. He also had a dairy entry, and half of the song that you're about to listen to is of that diary entry, can you guess which verse? Anyway, as Joseph became 16, he decided to travel to many countries where an unfortunate event happened and he has been scarred from that day forth. He can't go in public and his music career didn't go to plan. After watching WorldVision 35 and 36 he decided that he wanted to participate, but how? After pledging, Aloquirbe was allowed to enter the WorldVision Song Contest 37. Only three people signed up one of which was Joseph. And it was televised to approximately 7 million people. Of those seven million people, 60% voted for him meaning he declared ultimate victory. He is frightened to travel to a different country because he said that he doesn't want the unfortunate event to once again happen, however in life, you need to take chances.

Joseph was scared to get on stage and sing in front of people however he overcame his stage at practise but he didn't want to miss this chance. Him wearing his suit, black and white suit with a bow tie which separates his face from his neck quite clearly. Also Joseph was wearing the sparkly black shoes, clean of any dirt and grim. He was called to wait next to the entrance and as they called his name out, he walked on with his guitar. Quite confidently he stood as the arena went dark and one spotlight hit his face, all he could see is thousands of lights recording his face, something he didn't experience back in Aloquirbe. He started to sing as the music started from painos and harpsichords.

Like a dog to a bone, or the French with a catapult
Like a bee with it's honey, or like Adam's apple on that tree
Like a war with it's soldiers, or grey hair when you're older
Like a boy on his cycle, or a singer at their recital
They're all worthy, For me is blurry

An army of men was by each seat, like the soldiers in a war and before he says the next line, the army shouted "halt". The spotlight increased and other spotlights shone on 2 graves which was implanted in the stage and two tree risen from the group as the pathway that Joseph was to take lit up for him to walk forward.

I grew in the deep, everyday I would weep
I was treated like a rubbish heap, dumped off at social service meets
Like a stapler, in some paper, it can't be fixed

I, I tried, I tried, for too long...

The song stopped, the lights turned off. The music kept on going, all was silent and you could here the odd cough. Suddenly, a new stage was transformed. With moss on the floor, tombstones at every angle, a moon erupted over the audience and lit up the audience in style, the moon was a red colour. Joseph has his first chance to belt out the chorus.

Insidious cadaver
Don't you think that I have put up with this?
Digging the spire of Armageddon yet you think it is bliss
Crying oh so loudly, for you to, stop everything

Insidious cadaver
That how I've been treated every day night
Out in the cold, my parents are sold, As I watch the twilight
And I think to myself, why am I even here?

He points to the moon as the moon goes back under, he starts to use his hands as the microphone was on a stand. He undid his bow tie and threw it away as one of the cadavers caught it. He put on a ring as a woman in a stained wedding dress walked on to the stage and greeted him as he sings "uniting as one" and a big queens thrown rolled out where Joseph decided to take a rest while singing.

Like a man and woman, uniting as one
Like Queen on her big throne, or like the corpse with the old bones
It's reality, not fantasy.
I'm now in this country, new people and society
And for once I get equality, now free of any policy
I'm now here, my pain isn't severe as it would appear

The old bones fell from the audience ceiling which may of came as a shock to some. Equality made the audience clap as that is what everyone wants and while he sang to this country,Regica, that he is in, he sang to them and as his pain isn't severe he thought that he could go an octave higher.

One of the cadavers threw Joseph a spire to represent the spire of Armageddon. The spire was a mighty 2m long and was very sharp so he had to be carefully not to stab himself nor no one else, he wanted to create the fear in people's eyes, and so he did.

And I walk down the street, thinking my life is complete
And a man walk up to me and shot me on the street
Indefatigable man as I am, waiting for one to hold my hand
And luckily, that someone, came to my rescue

Oh, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah

In the background, you could see an obvious reconstruction of what happened to Joseph and why he lost all his hope, a man was walking in darkness and a spotlight was on him when a massive light blinked across the arena and red liquid spurred out of the reconstruction man, him and all the cadavers got up and stood behind Joseph as they all had there head down. Red liquid fell down from the sky as if it was rain, in a hurricane, the wind blowing hard as the crowd got a great 4D spectacular. He started to sing the last chorus. He chucked his guitar in the crowd and the strobe effects went in to crazy mode. It was a marvellous sight.

The moon went in the air again, however it stay there until he finished his song, he was litteraly singing to the best of his ability as his face turned red and a choir of army men and women walked on to the stage and got the cadavers to the floor. Smoke from the air started as fire around the arena was used to thrill the audience. All of that stopped as the spotlight went back on him for his final line, "why am I even here?" a picture of him younger was shone on to the stage.

A delayed but great standing ovation from the crowd made Joseph feel much better in the end.

"Thank-you everyone, thank-you WorldVision, Ë-Mieszkóm, Regica! And thank you Aloquirbe. God blessings"

Unfortunately, due to a bout of illness, we're only left with the award-winning commentary duo of Robert and Sam, on MRX ONE. Take it away, boys...

Robert: And a very good evening to you all back home in Mister X. Robert Baxter and Sam Smith coming to you live from... somewhere. I do know where we are, I just can't say it.
Sam: Regica?
Robert: No, I mean the city name.
Sam: Eeee mee ezz zay kom?
Robert: That will do. Welcome to WorldVision 37 from Eeee-mee-ezz-zay-kom in Regica. Here's the opening act.

OPENING ACT

Robert: That was dramatic, wasn't it?
Sam: Very.
Robert: Right, now, here's the important bit. To vote for a song you like, dial 9 12 12 followed by the number of the country you want to vote for if you're calling from a mobile, or 01721 12 12 followed by the number of the country you want to vote for if you're calling from a mobile. Your scores will be combined 50/50 with the scores of the Mister Xian national jury. You can't vote for Mister X. Up first, it's Kasanova-Koratica, with Maureen Wigginheimer singing "Euphorbia". See what you think. Song number one.
Sam: And tonight, my softness rating is back. There are four sorts of softness: hard, medium, soft and supersoft; that’s silver, white, yellow and red - knife, toast, butter, and jam as they get softer. Got that? Good. "Soft" songs are slow ones. So, for example, last year's Mister Xian entry would have got butter.

01 KASANOVA-KORATICA

Sam: Do you know what? I really enjoyed that!
Robert: Yep. I actually loved it.
Sam: Nice and hard to start with, too. Knife.
Robert: To vote for Kasanova-Koratica, dial 9 12 12 01 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 01 from a landline. We now move on to The Sword Bloke. Shop Owner is singing "Shop Owner Is King". Is he now(?)

02 THE SWORD BLOKE

Robert: No?
Sam: Yeah, no.
Robert: Softness and voting info, then, please.
Sam: Bread. The number is 9 12 12 02 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 02 from a landline. The third country is... oh no... Brittany, with an anti-capitalist song.

03 BRITTANY

Sam: No, they've got it wrong. Some Socialists seem to believe that people should be numbers in a State computer. We believe they should be individuals. We are all unequal. No one, thank heavens, is like anyone else, however much the Socialists may pretend otherwise. We believe that everyone has the right to be unequal but to us every human being is equally important. It's a knife.
Robert: To vote for Brittany... actually, don't. It's 9 12 12 03 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 03 from a landline if you want to get arrested. Next up is Insert Usernames Here. And that is who's up next.

04 INSERT USERNAMES HERE

Robert: Not too shabby, was it?
Sam: Yeah, much like what Jack and I sang last year, it's very well performed, very emotional. Butter, and the number is 9 12 12 04 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 04 from a landline. Up next is Talvezout. Modern Tears are singing "Lights", if that's even possible.

05 TALVEZOUT

Robert: That intro went on for very long, didn't it?
Sam: Yeah. Looking past that, that was quite a good song, mind you.
Robert: Well, how soft? Quite difficult to judge that one, I think.
Sam: Not really. Knife.
Robert: For Talvezout, dial 9 12 12 05 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 05 from a landline. Next up is, er, al-bal-an-see-ya, who have been formed out of Kishrael. For that reason, I'm now referring to them as FKR al-bal-an-see-ya: the Former Kishraeli Republic of al-bal-an-see-ya. Samia Muskadel is singing "Iyset Mihlub".

06 AL-BALANSIYYA

Sam: Still sounds like Kishrael to me.
Robert: Yep. Same as ever. Some things never change.
Sam: That's a typical FKR entry: knife. And to vote for Kishra-- sorry, the Former Kishraeli Republic of Al-Balansiyya, dial 9 12 12 06 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 06 from a landline. Next up, it's Ekoz. Elle... I'm not even going to try...

07 EKOZ

Robert: Oh dear, that's not quite what Ekoz are good at.
Sam: Yeah, I'm afraid that didn't cut the mustard for me. It's like trying to nail jelly to the wall when you're sending in the wrong song. Bread.
Robert: To vote for Ekoz, dial 9 12 12 07 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 07 from a landline. Next tonight, it's Chlamydia. Oops, sorry, Chameliya. Kadam is singing "Something More".

08 CHAMELIYA

Robert: "Something More" - exactly what this song needed, sadly.
Sam: There’s five thousand notes in each of these songs, and something made a bid for freedom there. Butter, and the number is 9 12 12 08 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 08 from a landline.

09 BLOODBATH GENERATION

10 IZMEDU

Sam: I found that dull.
Robert: It's over, everyone, you can wake up now. Jam?
Sam: Jam. To vote for Izmedu, dial 9 12 12 10 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 10 from a landline.

11 DENNIS BERGKAMP

Sam: Together, Robert?
Robert: Shall we?
Robert and Sam: OH, THIS YEAR, WE'RE GONNA WIN THE CUP, AND VIVA EL FULHAM! AND NEXT YEAR YOU KNOW WE'RE GOING UP! AND VIVA EL FULHAM! ALAN M IS A WONDER, THAT'S FOR SURE! AND VIVA EL FULHAM! AND BOBBY, WELL, DO WE NEED SAY MORE? IT'S FULHAM POR FAVOR!!!
Sam: Butter.
Robert: The number is 9 12 12 11 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 11 from a landline. Up next is Elejamie. Sataeveni Jamuri is singing "Loving Is Easy".

12 ELEJAMIE

Robert: I don't really know what to say there.
Sam: Wishy-washy is no longer the name of a laundrette. Gently womble through the song, why don't you? Jam. To vote for Elejamie, dial 9 12 12 12 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 from a landline. Now, making a welcome return to the contest, Vampirum are back!!

13 VAMPIRUM

14 NORMANDY AND PICARDY

Sam: As much as it pains me to say it...
Robert: Yeah...
Sam: ... that was OK.
Robert: Yeah.
Sam: I'm worried they could be a threat to Marcus Fox later on. Knife. To vote for Normandy and Picardy, dial 9 12 12 14 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 14 from a landline. Next up... Free Republics.

15 FREE REPUBLICS

Sam: Scary.
Robert: Our producer is hiding under the desk.
Sam: Bread.
Robert: For Free Republics, dial 9 12 12 15 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 15 from a landline. Next... Taxachusetts.

16 TAXACHUSETTS

17 YTTRIBIA

18 LUZIYCA

Sam: That was OK.
Robert: No performance, but I suppose we can forgive them considering the nature of the song?
Sam: Yes. Jam. To vote for them, dial 9 12 12 18 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 18 from a landline.

19 GREGORYISGODISTAN

Sam: Oh no, not again.

Sam: Er, yes, of course. Knife, and you can't vote for Mister X. You can vote for the next one, though. Missus X.

27 MISSUS X

Robert: Wow. That was long. How soft?
Sam: The general song was butter.
Robert: To vote for Missus X, dial 9 12 12 27 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 27 from a landline.

28 WAZEKIA

Robert: That was quite odd, wasn't it?
Sam: Very odd.
Robert: I've been here a long time and I've never seen something as odd as that before.
Sam: Anyway, it's a knife, and the number is 9 12 12 28 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 28 from a landline. Next is another unpronounceable name.

29 ALOQUIRBE

Robert: It was OK, wasn't it?
Sam: No! It was rubbish!
Robert: Actually, I agree with you.
Sam: Yeah. Sorry. Jam.
Robert: To vote for Alo... thingy, dial 9 12 12 29 from a mobile or 01721 12 12 29 from a landline.

Robert: We'll take a break, don't go away.

30. ZAPADNI
Emilia Kopitar - Temperature

Tune: Rada Manojlovic - Marakana

Emilia nervously shifted in her seat in the green room as the previous performance ended, knowing just how scrutinized her performance would be by not only the Zapadnian and Izmeduan public, but also to the multiverse at large. The pop folk singer, well-regarded and popular in the breakaway province of Zapadni, was actually of Izmeduan origin and still considered herself so. Emilia's ties to her homeland of Izmedu along with the immense anti-Izmeduan demonstrations in the small protectorate caused massive controversy when the Zapadni Broadcast Channel (ZBC) had selected her as the first entrant. Zapadnians, though technically Izmeduan in origin, disavowed the country they were once a part of. Brutal burnings of the red, green, and blue occured in the small proto-nation, though it ironically adopted two of those colors by virtue of it being an Izmeduan protectorate.

Zapadni was a country born out of rebellion and frustration, as Emilia well and truly knows, a rebellion out of a country she is loyal to. The frustration was built around biased politics, a depressed economy, a lack of morality, and how Izmedu as a nation state was falling apart on the inside. Zapadni's master country, hiding behind a wall of snapshots of its beautiful mountains and valleys, was on the whole a dying nation. Irregardless of the successful attempt of breaking away, Zapadni has yet to attain recognition as a true nation state, as Izmedu still claims the small nation as an autonomous province under the closely guarded Sastavak Conference, which came in the wake of continued ethnic tensions between Izmeduans and Zapadnians due to Zapadni's interest and sudden participation in WorldVision along with other international events. Due to Zapadni's classificaiton as an Izmeduan protectorate, the country is under a silent, but tight leash by the Izmeduan government. An illusion of autonomy was given, as Zapadni was an economic bounty that was allowed to deregulate businesses. Yet, it was very clear with a closer look that Izmedu frayed its hands on the protectorate.

Emilia could barely handle the pressure of WorldVision, for she knew that any sudden moves could potentially start the breakdown of her own home. Any wrong move, a war could start. She transfixed a smile to her face in the case of an emergency interview, for the delegation had forbidden any media to interview her or the ZBC.

She repeated to herself Zapadni's set routine for WorldVision. Let the postcard be shown, perform the song, and simply leave the stage immediately right after. As Emilia approached the stage, she took a deep breath before she stepped forth...

The outlines of Emilia, four male dancers, and another male behind a microphone were situated at various places on the stage. Emilia was placed at the center, seeming to be looking up to the roof. The four dancers were paired at the pillars, standing stationary. The male, who would provide the opening line of the song, was located at the stage's extreme right.

The song began with a statement that seemed almost impossible to vocally decipher, with the camera on the man behind the microphone who was hard to identify to the audience due to the light arrangement. One arm seemed to be up, and at a certain point, he shouted 'Temperature' twice and pumped his arms twice to those words before reverting back to the meaningless babble.

However, this little intro was not the song's true beginning. A light began to illuminate the stage, making it glow in a white color which revealed the people on the stage somewhat. Emilia can be seen wearing a short dress, posed with both arms crossed and hips to one side, a headset on her person. The backup dancers were, though not muscular, were certainly athletic, with each dancer wearing a different colored short, though their shirts were uniform.

Rising!
This temperature's
Too high
I can't stand this heat
No more! This is all too much
Can I find any relief?
Rising!
This temperature
Is rising too fast for me
I'm trapped
I can't run away
Is there a chance for escape?

Emilia sang this with an almost cheery and fake smile, swaying her hips and fanning herself to emphasize the lyrics. As the chorus, serving as the song's intro, progressed, the white lights gradually began to shine yellow orange. Emilia and the backup dancers also became fully visible. Though the beat had yet to appear, the song's way of emphasizing two syllables only precluded what would come, with the backup dancers approaching Emilia in an almost frantic way as she spoke 'Rising.'

When the chorus ended, the song kicked into full gear. A backdrop of a beach at the time of high noon quickly appeared on the screen. The shone a bright yellow, with patterns almost simulating the sun's surface. The stage floor pulsed with the beat, it also turning a bright yellow. Emilia and the dancers performed a routine that evoked images people having a carefree summer. Arms flailing about almost randomly yet seemingly controlled and a small spin when 'tako vruce!' was shouted out. However, the way that Emilia and the backup dancers performed was different. The male dancers tried to invite her in, with their arm movements wanting to welcome her in to the party, while Emilia gradually inched closer to the stage's edge as a way to ward them off.

As the chorus died down and transitioned to the verse, three dancers situated themselves into one pillar while one dancer remained. Emilia went up to that dancer, looking as if she were going to accuse him of a crime. The background of the beach quickly faded away, though the yellow lights remained.

Thought I was just the only one
Who was deceived and lied
Everything is a bill of goods
All the pretty pictures
Showing an unreal paradise
It was just too good to be true

The smile from the chorus was replaced with an anger and frustration reflected in her eyes and the actions on the dancer. As Emilia tried to get closer, making movements that suggested she was about to pounce on the male, he moved away in response. It was a game of cat and mouse between the two, though the movements were limited in order to prevent Emilia from running out of breath. As the verse ended, Emilia swatted the male dancer away, turning to the audience for the hook.

So how the hell did I end up here?
Why was I so gullible?
No chance to escape from
All the smoke and mirrors
Nothing but my agony

The backup dancers walked behind Emilia once again as she sang the hook. She had one hand on her head, as if she were wiping some sweat, a look of clear regret on her face. Smoke began to develop on the screen behind her.

Rising!
This temperature's
Too high
I can't stand this heat
No more! This is all too much
Can I find any relief?
Rising!
This temperature
Is rising too fast for me
I'm trapped
I can't run away
Is there a chance for escape?

The routine from earlier was performed again, with the backdrop of the beach reappearing. As Emilia danced, the spotlight that was following her shone a bright white light, revealing that beads of sweat now falling from her face due to the frenetic routine and accentuating the lyrics. The stage floor pulsed to the beat.

Rising!
This temperature's
Too high
I can't stand this heat
No more! This is all too much
Can I find any relief?
Rising!
This temperature
Is rising too fast for me
I'm trapped
I can't run away
Is there a chance for escape?

There wasn't much of a difference, though faint vocalizations of harmonies could be heard throughout the chorus. As Emilia and the dancers repeated their routine, the yellow hue started to turn yellow orange, as the backdrop of the beach also started to develop an orange hue, especially on the once clear skies. It was now an image of a hot afternoon on the beach.

The male voice from earlier that spouted incomprehensible words returned for the interlude, which saw Emilia recede to the stage's center and dancing as the dancers remained stationary. As the male voice said 'Temperature,' which occurred four times, she dismissed each male dancer to a pillar by swatting them away with a look of scorn. When the interlude ended, the beach image became distorted, a smoke effect billowing through and a cracked mirror effect also being displayed.

They said it'd be good for me
And make me a new woman
Hell it did, but not in that way
This isn't the place you wanted to be in and you better just
Leave and save yourself from the pain

Emilia was alone for the chorus, with her body moving along to the rhythm as she took on a persona of someone not necessarily pained, but certainly someone who was short shifted. As the camera circled her for the last two lines, she held one finger out and pointed directly to the viewer at home, singing the lyrics to them and then bringing that outstretched arm out to her for the hook.

I know that it looks so tempting.
Seeing all the life around
So picture perfect and looking so beautiful
Don't become a fool like me

The camera was squarely on Emilia as she sang the hook, with the dancers remaining on the pillars. The stage darkened and the image on the screen was gone as the hook was completed, with only the spotlights remaining on Emilia and the dancers.

Rising!
This temperature's
Too high
I can't stand this heat
No more! This is all too much
Can I find any relief?
Rising!
This temperature
Is rising too fast for me
I'm trapped
I can't run away
Is there a chance for escape?

The chorus was stripped down to the simple beat, with one beat immediately following after the other at specific intervals on the chorus. At each beat, Emilia swayed her hips as the dancers moved center stage only if there was a beat, with the pillars also pulsing alongside that. There was a small horn interlude that would transition to the chorus' second repetition.

Rising!
This temperature's
Too high
I can't stand this heat
No more! This is all too much
Can I find any relief?
Rising!
This temperature
Is rising too fast for me
I'm trapped
I can't run away
Is there a chance for escape?

The chorus was back to its original form and sound. The camera, instead of being up close on a dancer or Emilia, displayed a wide angle of the stage. Emilia and the backup dancers repeated the routine done previously. The image of a beach at sunset reappeared, with the smoke and broken mirror effects on that image.

The song entered an interlude where the male speaker reappeared, making an entire spiel with intersperses to the song's title as Emilia only sang the song's harmonic melody. This continued on for a a good 30 seconds until the song's closing lines. At the male speaker's growl, the dancers were in close proximity to Emilia, and she looked to almost be basking in their presence...

Rising!
This temperature's

At the song's close, Emilia made a sweeping motion with her one hand, making the backup dancers fall to the ground as she faced the audience and the camera with a pose. The last line echoed and shortly after the word 'temperature,' the image on the screen shattered like glass and a glass effect sound reverberated through the arena.

The dancers got up as Emilia began to remove the earpiece and headset. She smiled for a brief moment, with the camera catching two seconds of her before quickly transitioning to the audience, who were cheering, as per the request of the Zapadnian delegation. She wanted to say her 'thanks' to the Regican crowd, but directives from her delegation forced her to stay absolutely silent.

When the camera view was back to the stage, Emilia and her company were gone.

Puppet of Izmedu. Breakaway province with volatile relations to the nation it was once a part of. Diametric opposite to Izmedu in terms of ideology and politics.

Hello WorldVision watchers, I’m Jon Myrok and I’ll be your host tonight as we watch the world on stage. Join me as we listen to the acts that nations have been working so hard on, all leading up to tonight. At stake is…something, well actually I’m still not sure what they’re competing for. Regardless, let’s begin our adventure and see which nation ends up at the top!

"Smile"

“Let me just say that before I even so much as breathe a word about the opening act this year I feel it necessary to comment on the logo of this edition of WorldVision. I find that the giant lotus vagina that represents WV 37 to be an odd choice of a symbol to say the least. Nevertheless, let’s see where this act takes us.

This seems to be an incantation of sorts, perhaps to summon a giant lotus vagina monster from it's ancient slumber. That certainly would be more entertaining, in any case. "Peace evermore" is certainly not the guise whatever you want to call this music is taking. The water is intended to be illuminated by golden light, but it's giving me the impression of columns of piss are welcoming us to this contest. I only wish whoever designed that was trying to tell us all to "piss off". On to the first act of the night, but first:

Image
“This isn’t even my final form.”

"Euphorbia"

"Well, we're starting off by setting the bar low. I think this is our first joke entry. Global paradigm? Global paradigm? Did they just use "global paradigm" in a song? Are you kidding me? Can she even spell that? The fact that someone actually took the time to write that lyric and was presumably paid for it blows my mind. The rest of this train wreck of an act doesn't fail to live up to low expectations. That's the only thing that doesn't fail."

"Those dancing "Euphorbs" make me feel I've fallen into some other dimension of insanity (Giant Lotus Vagina Monster being summoned perhaps)? Anyways, the song itself is boring and tries too hard to be emotional. They're obviously hoping to get some points to appealing to the comedic audience and the club goers of the world. Why am I seeing #Euphorbsballs on Twitter?"

Image
“Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Lotus Vagina Worldvision wgah'nagl fhtagn”

"Shop Owner Is King"

"Why they always compete a capella is beyond me. Why they even bother to compete is also beyond me. The song will only be appealing to the Swordean community and their diaspora. On to the next one."

"Capitalists"

"This is so whiny and nonsensical. How are the capitalists going to see that life is worth more than gain if they're dead? 'I'm going to bring about social change WITH A FABULOUS SONG AND DANCE ROUTINE!' said no socialist revolutionary ever. I'm so disappointed that the giant fire didn't end this act earlier. What are you punching in the air there, the invisible hand of the market!? Please get off the stage."

"5 Years"

"This is an odd name for a country. With reference to the previous entry, WorldVision should not be a place where you work out your inner demons or do none of these nations have therapists? This melody could put me to sleep easily if I was less enraged by the stupidity of some of the earlier acts. The surrounding band looks more like a legion of chefs. The lyrics are underwhelming and the act as a whole is uninspiring."

"Lights"

"I'm angry that I already know I'll have this stuck in my head for weeks after this edition is over. The performance is weak at best. What is with the screen? I feel like this trying too hard to be artsy. It's difficult to watch, not only because of the awkward movements between the band members, but because I feel like I'm going to have a seizure with all this light suddenly going on and off."

"Iyset Miħlub (I Will Carry On Dreaming)"

"This feels very boilerplate to me. It's like they just have a basic template for a WorldVision act and then pick and choose details from a lottery machine. It's a boringly generic pop entry that will delight the club anthem listeners of the audience. More fist pumping (why?) and blah blah blah they even make it look like something out of a night club. This is incredibly dull."

"Remember Me"

"Insipid, stupid, and makes me want to hurl. I'll remember you whenever I'm violently ill."

"Something More"

"The title adequately describes what this entire entry needs. 'I‘m gonna disappoint you', Oh my dear it's like we're on the same wavelength. The entry is trying to bank too much on being cute, while lacking any substance. It's airiness is what destroys it. I would love to see the lyrics evolve, but they just keep repeating the same thing over and over."

NPTV
Worldvision 37, MondeVis 37

Robert: Welcome back to the Normand commentary for Worldvision 37, live from the lovely nation of Regica
Julia: Let's continue, shall we

Electrum
Julia - Now, that's music! My favourite of this contest so far
Robert - Really? Really? This is slow, boring and monotonous as well as soppy
Julia - It's a masterpiece Robert. Get some emotions
Robert - Does disappointment count as one?

EDO
Robert - That's music!
Julia - Absolutely dreadful! Deserves to be last. How dare they make fun of young people! Especially some people like me!
Robert - It was incredible!

Polkopia
Robert - John would have loved to have seen this
Julia - He probably has from inside prison
Robert - Well, Polkopia's back in business! This could easily win

Silkjd
Robert - Yepp, that was a song
Julia - I can't remember how it went
Robert - No one can

Dreamplanet
Robert - Another good entry! This should do well, though the other commentators don't seem to like it
Julia - It'll be a shame if that doesn't happen. It's at least better than our rubbish song

Mister X
Julia - Awful
Robert - My ears are bleeding it was that horrific

Missus X
Julia - We turn over to the programming on NPTV 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbF_VV9PSF0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uYTS93Tv1Y
Robert - We can now return to Worldvision

Wazekia
Julia - Better than Mister X, that's the only positive
Robert - They should stick to commentary

Aloquirbe
Robert - I absolutely hated that! Even Mister X was better, and that was terrible
Julia - I, meanwhile, think it is a beautiful song with meaningful lyrics and a good tune
Robert - Come on, it's just him moaning about his life!

Zapadni
Robert - The entries really have gone downhill, haven't they? Feel safe to go make a cup of tea or whatever you drink at home at this point
Julia - It'll pick up; we haven't had Russadonia yet!

Lymantatia
Julia - What actually was that?
Robert - Are you enjoying your cups of tea? Anyways, I liked this song, and the lyrics - whilst terrible - did make me chuckle a bit, probably because they were terrible

Gaciadia
Robert - I love this song and the lyrics are inspirational
Julia - Yepp, this should equal if not better their debut

Russadonia
Robert - I can hear it now; "And the 12 Points, the Dwatdeota Pjointras go to ... Rusjadoniet (Russadonia)"
Julia - If that doesn't win then this contest is unfair
Robert - It's my winner of the contest so far, no doubt

Saturneaux
Julia - So Kawaii! (She faints)
Robert - This is a horrible childish song fit for use in prisons as a torture technique due to it's terribly written lyricz and pathetic attempt at music. No matter how cute this seems, this song is pure pain and makes me feel as if society is going up shit creek without a paddle and I feel sad for all young people who's minds have been brainwashed by modern media.
(Julia gets back up and sits in her chair)

Tödlichebujoku
Robert - This is what TOBUK call not trying. It is beautiful and could land them a second victory in a row
Julia - I'm not feeling it. It sound disjointed, the singer suddenly cuts off or sounds like a dying cat and the staging was creepy
Robert - You'll get the staging if you look at the Wazek commentary

Regica
Robert - This should do well both at home and in the competition overall. It is mysterious and made even better by the fact it is in Regican
Julia - I find it creepy
Robet - Will you stop complaining soon?

Titaniumland
Robert - The music was beautiful but the lyrics weren't as such. Unfortunately, a song needs the whole package and so this didn't do it for me
Julia - This should do well though
Robert - I have a feeling it will

Glitzenbourg
Robert - A nice song but not a winner
Julia - I've always loved the French language
Robert - It is beautiful, yes. It's not going to win, as I have said, but it's a lovely song
all the same

Praciba
Julia - I just had an eargasm
Robert - I just had an actual orgasm, as you in the audience back home could probably tell by the noises I made (He begins cleaning himself down after his business)
Julia - Apparently these dudes were pornstars
Robert - Yep, I may have watched a few of their movies in my time
Julia - What do you think of the actual song?
Robert - The song? It was absolutely amazing, just like those two boys. It is may favourite of the night, sorry Russadonia!
Julia - I have to agree with you there. This will certainly get 12 points from us, that's for certain!

Alinghi Federal-Democratic Republic
Julia - Sorry, that's worse than EDO
Robert - I really have nothing to say that Julia hasn't ready said

Teague
Robert - I've never liked any of Teague's song, but I could stand this one
Julia - They always do well, and they could do well again

Lyonsland
Julia - These are the ones who just suddenly left whilst they were hosting the contest in WV32, no?
Robert - Yepp, and I must say this is an awful return to the contest
Julia - It is dark, mysterious and haunting
Robert - It's dark, and that's about it I'm afraid. I hate the music for the song and I don't rate the singer or her screams that made my ears bleed (blood pours out of his ear) but I have a feeling this will do well; this style of music seems to be popular for some strange reason

Commentary with Prayan Shresta

Welcome back to WorldVision 37! And just in time as well, we're performing next! We're wishing Kadam the very best!

08 Chameliya - Something More

I really hope this does very well. I know Kadam have been working very hard over the past few weeks and it looks like it may have paid off. I can't wait for the votes to come in! Sadly, viewers at home, you cannot vote for ourselves even though you're probably dying to.

09 Bloodbath Generation - Dancing On My Own

That was simply stunning. The song has just got this anthemic feel to it and the performance and staging here were just extraordinary. They may not be hosting, but boy do they know how to put on a show. If you enjoyed that, then call 25528504-09.

10 Izmedu - Harmony

Now that really was a performance! A lot of thought has clearly gone into that and it's so nice to see a side of a nation's culture that sometimes gets forgotten in favour of the WorldVision glitz. If you like Izmedu, call 25528504-10.

11 Dennis Bergkamp - Spurs Suck

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I have a feeling that that was the WorldVision's first football. Quite raucous but I guess you can't say they lacked passion. If you thought Dennis Bergkamp didn't suck, then call 25528504-11.

12 Elejamie - Loving Is Easy

Now I know that that wasn't typical WorldVision fare, but I really liked it. The music really moved me and the whole thing was just so smooth. If you loved Elejamie, then call 25528504-12.

13 Vampirum - Wonderland

Vampirum really have returned in style. A wise choice of song there and again, another example of how the right staging really can enhance the song. If you want Vampirum to win, then call 25528504-13.

32. GACIADIA
KEISI MEISI - Stand

Tune: Owl City - Shooting Star

Image

KEISI MEISI, winners of WorldVision Cantei Gaciadia, will be the second representatives in Gaciadia's WorldVision history. Will they be able to surpass Airane's 13th position?
They answered some questions about the song before they jump to the stage:
This song is very special for us. It talks about how our freedom is being corrupted by someone else. I'm sure Gaki people will love it and let's see how it works in the Multiverse!

The group is standing in the centre of the stage. The lights surrounding them turn blue, and the LCD screen is now showing an image of The Earth. All the somponents of the band start playing their instruments but the singer, who starts a little bit later

Beyond the infinite
seas that we see
or the rainforests
that make us live
there are lots of souls
that are crying for that what
they do deserve

The singer starts moving around the stage, going from one edge to the other

Souls that are living
in poverty
due to someone's aim
they don't relate
All these crazy things
are causing great terror
in innocents

As the chorus begins, all lights starts moving faster and faster, and the screen shows the lyrics of the song

There is no song which
can solve problems
but can help you to stand.
Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you

There is no song which
can wreck all great walls
but bring people together
and incites them to shout out loud
Go out and just hear the crowd
Tonight!

Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!

Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you
Come on!

The chorus finishes and all lights are moving slowly again; the LCD screen show the audience the world

As the brids that fly
over the sky
we also want to
take off the road.
But someone may cut
your wings 'cause for them
you are cattle

Now, the singer is putting so much passion in what he sings. The same for the rst of the band. They now are feeling very comfortable.

All these tyranny
now rule the world
and they only think
'bout they want
You're nothing for them
but this is gonna change
staying close

Again with the chorus, all lights are moving faster. Now, the singer is walking by the runway while he sings

There is no song which
can solve problems
but can help you to stand.
Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you

There is no song which
can wreck all great walls
but bring people together
and incites them to shout out loud
Go out and just hear the crowd
Tonight!

Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!

Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you
Come on!

When he arrives the centre of the stages, after walking by the runway, the stage goes all black, except for a spotlight, illuminating him, who is elevating a yellow light.

Everyone deserves a life where we can do whatever we like

And a place to live in peace at last

All as we're one

When this bridge ends, lanterns around the first one illuminate and go up with it. The rest of the spotlights illuminate again with a yellowish tone.

There is no song which
can solve problems
but can help you to stand.
Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you

There is no song which
can wreck all great walls
but bring people together
and incites them to shout out loud
Go out and just hear the crowd
Tonight!

Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!
Woah-oah!

Stand as a warrior'll do
because there is one inside you
Come on!

KEISI MEISI, happy, leave the stage.

The Russadonian WorldVision Committee was eager to bring home a win after such a solid performance by Violet Mercy in the last edition. After much deliberation, they announced the nation would be represented by Valentina Avery. In a change but from the dark, ambient and melodic turn the committee in the previous contest, they wanted something lighter and more fun, leading them to the logical choice of Valentina. She seemed like a solid option with three number one hits on the Russadonia charts and her eagerly anticipated sophomore album dropping later this year.

Valentina stood backstage, takin heavy deep breaths. She was extremely nervous, something her prep crew found delightful and humanizing in contrast to Violet's otherworldly calmness. The cheering crowds excited her, and her heartbeat continued to pulse faster and faster.

Bright clean lights illuminated the stage. Valentina stood alone alone in the middle, wearing a plain white dress. Dark curls unfurl to her shoulders, spilling over the white dress like ink. In front of her, a pink rhinestone covered microphone is supported by a plain white base. The music starts and Valentina leans into the microphone, leaning the base slightly with her as she begins to sing.

If you want to have fun, you let him think he’s won
Don’t let yourself be outdone, or let him be your “one”

She reaches above her head with her left arm, and brings her hand down over her head and face, ruffling her hair.

Shower yourself in his gifts, but don’t let him get too swift
Don’t fall in into
Him saying that he loves you

She pulls the microphone off the stand and kicks it over. The thumping beat of the chorus is met with six men (1|2|3|4|5|6), wearing only tight white briefs coming symmetrically from both sides of the stage to the center and making a semi-circle behind her with her standing in the middle. They begin a high energy coordinated dance to match the music as Valentina continues.

This is the trouble with faking
You deserve your awakening
But he’ll want even more, control
Singing I wa-wa-want you, let him think you do!

The men continue their dance as Valentina walks to the men, putting her arms around them and weaving in and out between them as she sings. Often getting close to their faces as if intimate.

This is the trouble with faking
You deserve your awakening
But he’ll want even more, control
Singing I wa-wa-want you, let him think you do!

Because I wa-wa-wa-want you

She leans backward and one of the men catches her and lifts her off the ground. Another two lift her feet and legs and she falls into a reclining position in their arms as she continues to sing. The lift her up and walk around the stage with her.

You let him think he’s free, but unable to see
that you’ve really got the key, to everything he needs
Lock up his heart, and his credit cards
get yourself luxury cars, and anything you need to go far

The put her down and she kisses one on the cheek before walking back to the front of the stage. The men walk to the back of the stage and pick up silver buckets with exaggerated large paintbrushes. Each has a different bright color paint in it: Lime Green, Hot Pink, Atomic Orange, Electric Blue, Neon Yellow and Imperial Purple.

Valentina twirls and around, moving with the music.

As the next chorus starts, the men start to fling the paint around, splattering all over themselves and Valentina. Their white briefs and Valentina's dress turn from paper white to colorful random splatters of chaotic colors. The paint coats their bodies and limbs as they throw the paint throughout the chorus.

This is the trouble with faking
You deserve your awakening
But he’ll want even more, control
Singing I wa-wa-want you, let him think you do!

Singing I wa-wa-want you, let him think you do!

Because I wa-wa-wa-want you!

The slow bridge begins and the men drop the buckets and brushes, with the two in the middle embracing Valentina, standing close to her on either side. The four other men spread out and begin an over-sexualized dance meant to show their bodies. smearing the paint as they move slowly, seductively.

We’ll do, anything it takes
to make sure we get our stake
so remember to be fake
for yours and his own sake

The music turns up beat again and the two men lift her on their shoulders to finish the final chorus. She sings loud, ruffling the mans shaggy hair with her free hand and grinning through the lyrics.

This is the trouble with faking
You deserve your awakening
But he’ll want even more, control
Singing I wa-wa-want you, let him think you do!

As the last beat thumps, she throws her hand holding the microphone above her head and bites her lip. She crosses her legs as she balances on their two men's shoulders. In a piece of choreography meant to shock the unsuspecting audiences, the four men on either side of the stage move into couples with the the nearest man and embrace bodies, pulling each other in for a passionate kiss.
