Hey friends.

I'm going to be working on the thread over the next couple of days. If you haven't yet and want our nation mentioned in the parade, send me a quick two or three sentences describing it. As I stated before, be creative but succinct. :D

Also, don't forget to send me a picture of your city skyline for the postcard. For the best results, send a picture on a sunny, clear day.

Thanks guys!

I edited my entry to include information on the giant postcard being unveiled. I hope that's allowed.

Finally finished and posted my entry!

Russadonia, I''ve utilized some features of the stage which apply to the original Eurovision 2013 stage but aren't found in your description of the stage (the trapdoor and the island turning into a platform), if they do not match with your own stage specifications, I can alter my performance to meet your description rather than the original stage's.

Word of advice: dingoes should be disallowed from WV arenas. :P

When I bid as Nebesina next WV, they will do a mass dingo culling around Nebesa to reduce the chances of this occurring.

When the committee says it is.

Also, I am looking forward to the commentary mentioning the Nebesinan entry and the hour-long disruption due to a dingo that took a baby and resulted in many injuries, almost all from trampling. Yay.

Due to a bunch of OOC happenings, I'm changing my entry's name to "Vissza Erősebb (Come Back Stronger)" and the tune to Hela Natten-Josef Johansson. Sorry for any inconvenience (:

My commentary of that is up. It's mostly an attempt at filler through interviewing Russadonian policemen.

I will be ignoring it as it would be a contest-breaking event that isn't plausible at all.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my entry up before Monday. I haven't had time to finish the performance part since I've been on vacation, but I should have it ready soon.

Mine will be up before Monday as well, just so that the people doing commentary know. I'm in the process of doing the intro.

Huh.

Anyways, I am beginning to plot my Nebesinan WV bid for WV32. The opening act, the postcard designs, a logo, making it futuristic enough to win, yet rustic enough to maintain its not!Australian character. Even the hotels (one of the tallest hotels will be used as primary accommodation) and nightlife.

The opening act may actually be in a different place (save for a few parts, especially when the Prime Minister opens the contest) than the venue (Telstra Stadium), since the venue (Nebesa Opera House) won't really be able to sustain the grandeur that I plan for it. The interval act will be entirely in the venue, but the closing act will after the repeat, will have most at Telstra Stadium (same as opening act). It will also be a viewing area for those who cannot get into the Opera House, and it will boil down to this. During the Telstra scenes, the screen would show the action at Telstra Stadium. And during the Opera House scenes (and the contest itself), people from Telstra Stadium will see scenes from inside the Opera House.

Opening act in Nebesa, WV32 Telstra - A history of Nebesina in 30 minutes from 1788 to the present (from its discovery by Luziycans and the penal colny, to opening to general settlement in 1832, to the Gold Rush in the 1890s, granting of Dominion status in 1915, the war against Ebycene, the riots in 1977-78 that ended the White Nebesina policy, to its full independence from Luziyca in 1988), a showcase of the cultural diversity of Nebesina
Opera House - singing of Advance Nebesina Fair, and then Waltzing Matilda. Then Prime Minister Jerara Rostov opens the contest (in his native Ninggalake language of the Ninggalake/Noongar aborigines, instead of Luziycan or English), and then the contest begins.

Interval Act - WV32 Opera House - performance of Nebesina's WV31 entry but without any incidents, behind the scenes of the entrants

Closing Act - WV32 Opera House - announcing results, reprise of the winner's entry
Telstra - 3,000 people of all ethnicities wear hats equipped with LEDs displaying either blue or white and performing Advance Nebesina Fair, then a parade of all cultures of the World
Opera House - closing speech by the Prime Minister in English, not Ninggalake
Telstra - fireworks show that lasts into the middle of the night, but they can leave but many audience members watch the display (those at the Opera House leave at this point, and Telstra ceases any coverage of the Opera House and vice-versa, instead showing fireworks)

Okay. Due to other RL and NS commitments, I'm afraid I'll have to withdraw from the WorldVision contest. I've TG'ed this message to the hosts as well. If possible, please update the OP to leave me out. Thank you.
