i was online when this first started. I choose to kill zombies immediately. I switched to an easy region and now i have o zombies. I have wiped out the virus.

Hey so I've asked this question a few times, but never really had an answer... If I researched the cure do I need to keep researching if I already have it for it to take effect? Or can I move to killing zombies and the cure will still be effective?

Just to note, The Coalition of Governments is a large region (~181 billion total population) with the disease well under control (0.4% infection rate). I believe that qualifies us for the criteria listed in this post.
